In the context of national efforts to promote high-quality development of vocational education and deepen industry-education integration,private vocational undergraduate institutions serve as crucial platforms bridging the cultivation of high-level technical and skilled talents with regional industrial development.The alignment between their distinctive specialty clusters and regional industrial synergy directly impacts talent development quality and regional economic efficiency.This paper analyzes the inherent logic of coordinated development between specialty clusters and regional industries,leveraging the flexible operational mechanisms and direct industry connections of private vocational institutions.It identifies current challenges,including“inaccurate demand alignment,insufficient resource integration,and loose interest coordination,”and proposes four strategic dimensions:establishing collaborative research mechanisms,optimizing cluster layouts,deepening industry-education integration,and improving support systems.These recommendations provide actionable references for advancing high-quality coordinated development between private vocational institutions and regional industries. 展开更多

While the digital transformation brings new development opportunities to the field of vocational education,it also makes it face unprecedented challenges.In order to adapt to the trend of digital transformation,vocational undergraduate colleges need to improve their school-running level and promote educational reform by building“dual-qualified”teacher teams.Based on this,the author first analyzes the construction requirements of“dual-qualified”teacher teams and the common problems in specific operations,such as the weak practical teaching ability of full-time teachers,the imperfect teacher growth mechanism,and the insufficient in-depth school-enterprise cooperation.Then,aiming at the actual problems,it discusses the advantages and practical paths of building“dual-qualified”teacher teams in vocational undergraduate education empowered by digital technology,aiming to provide suggestions for the high-quality development of vocational education. 展开更多

Vocational undergraduate education has entered a new stage of high-quality development,making the cultivation of students'learning ability a core issue in enhancing talent cultivation quality.This study conducted a questionnaire survey with 177 students majoring in integrated circuits at Shenzhen Polytechnic University(SZPU),focusing on six dimensions:self-learning proficiency,academic competence,goal planning,self-discipline,learning initiative,and learning environment.The results indicate that while students possess a solid learning foundation and clear career planning,significant deficiencies exist in the execution of academic plans,self-discipline,and learning initiative.In response to these issues,this study proposes four systematic improvement pathways from the institutional perspective:establishing a closed-loop academic navigation system incorporating“goal-process-feedback”,creating an immersive“virtual-physical integrated”learning environment,implementing a multi-dimensional“cognitive-affective-practical”initiative activation plan,and building a synergistic cultivation mechanism for“self-discipline and core competencies”.The findings aim to provide references for talent cultivation and teaching reform in vocational undergraduate integrated circuit programs. 展开更多

This article studies the educational mode connecting vocational education and undergraduate education in finance and accounting majors,in response to the weak cultural foundation and poor course integration faced by current vocational school graduates after entering vocational undergraduate education.By adopting empirical research methods and selecting vocational college students majoring in finance and accounting and ordinary high school students as research objects,this study implements a series of teaching reform measures and conducts tracking surveys on the short-term and long-term effects of educational reforms.As a result,it was found that in the final survey of graduation destinations,34 vocational and technical college students were engaged in related work in their majors,accounting for 45.9%of all vocational and technical college students.This proves that the proposed transitional education model can effectively enhance the cultural foundation of vocational college students and provide new ideas for the cultivation of talents in finance and accounting majors. 展开更多

This study focuses on vocational undergraduate institutions in Hainan Province,exploring the current status,issues,and optimization strategies for integrating ideological and political education into college English courses.Through questionnaires,interviews,and classroom observations,the research identifies problems such as insufficient integration of ideological content,monotonous teaching methods,and low student engagement.To address these issues,this paper proposes a four-in-one teaching strategy encompassing teaching objectives,content,methods,and evaluation mechanisms.The effectiveness of this strategy is validated through teaching practices.The results indicate that the optimized teaching strategy significantly enhances students’English proficiency and ideological literacy,providing practical references for the reform of ideological and political education in college English courses at vocational undergraduate institutions. 展开更多

Based on the demand for complex English talents for the high-quality construction of“Belt and Road,”the study proposes a curriculum restructuring program oriented on“serving professional teaching,career development,and quality development”in response to the real problems of the current university English curriculum,such as focusing on language but not on application,insufficient vocational relevance,and low degree of integration with the professional field.We propose a curriculum reconstruction plan oriented to“serve professional teaching,career development,and quality development.”We have constructed a three-in-one curriculum goal of“laying a foundation for professionalism,infiltrating humanity,and empowering development,”systematically designed a curriculum content system of“language foundation,industry knowledge,and quality development,”and established an AI-enabled multi-intelligence evaluation system.This will promote the transformation of university English from single-language teaching to a service-oriented curriculum that supports professional development,and cultivate internationalized talents with both workplace language application skills and cross-cultural communication literacy.The study highlights the“vocational”characteristics and“service”functions of college English,and provides an actionable,practical path for the reform of college English curriculum in vocational undergraduate colleges. 展开更多

Relationship between Interaction Anxiousness,Academic Resilience,Cultural Intelligence and Ego-Identity among Chinese Vocational Pathway University Students:A Conditional Process Analysis Model

Background:University students’ego-identity,an essential component of their psychological development and mental health,has widely attracted the attention of policymakers,schools,and parents.Method:A total of 298 Chinese vocational pathway undergraduates were recruited,and a conditional process analysis model was adopted to explore the interaction mechanism of ego-identity.Results:The results suggest that the ego-identity of Chinese vocational pathway undergraduates is significantly affected by interaction anxiousness,academic resilience,and cultural intelligence.(1)Interaction anxiousness significantly and positively predicts ego-identity.(2)Academic resilience positively and partially mediates the effect of interaction anxiousness on ego-identity.(3)Cultural intelligence significantly and positively moderates the relationship between interaction anxiousness and ego-identity.However,a similar moderating effect was not found between interaction anxiousness and academic resilience.(4)As cultural intelligence increases,the negative influence of interaction anxiousness on ego-identity gradually diminishes,whatever the cultural intelligence level.Conclusions:Interaction anxiousness,academic resilience,and cultural intelligence are essential determinants of ego-identity among Chinese vocational pathway undergraduates.Strategic interventions should be utilized to enhance their abilities to alleviate interpersonal tensions,promote their resilience in facing academic difficulties,cope with diverse cultures,and boost their sense of self-confirmation. 展开更多
