The massless dark photon~γ can only interact with the Standard Model(SM)sector via higherdimensional operators.In this letter,we investigate its production associated with the ordinary photonγfrom the lepton flavor ...The massless dark photon~γ can only interact with the Standard Model(SM)sector via higherdimensional operators.In this letter,we investigate its production associated with the ordinary photonγfrom the lepton flavor violation(LFV)process l_(i)→l_(j)γγ and di-production from the LFV process l_(i)→l_(j)γγ induced by dipole operators.Comparing the obtained numerical results with the corresponding experimental measurements,we obtain the constraints on the effective couplings of γ with the SM charged leptons.The upper limit of the effective coupling|DLμe|2+|DRμe|2coming from the process μ→e~γγis looser than the processμ→eγ by about one order of magnitude.展开更多

Quark oscillations occur in spaces that are on the femtometer scale and they are unmeasurable from the point of view of experiments. However, the consequence of those oscillations is the CP violating phase for quarks, which is measured through unitary triangles in Wolfenstein’s parameterization. Through the mathematical model presented in this paper, the equation in Wolfenstein’s parameterization was derived, the root of which is consistent with measurements in today’s quark physics.展开更多

First, we examine some lepton flavor violating decays of AH, namely AH → τ±μ±, AH→ τ±e±, and AH→ τ±e±. We find that the branching ratios can reach 10-7 for AH → τ±μ±, 10-s for AH → τ±μ±, and 10-s for AH → τ±e± Then, we study the lepton flavor violating plus jets signatures of the heavy charged gauge boson and mirror quarks at the LHC, and find that it is possible to be detected for pp jets, and hardly to be detected for pp → τ±e± (μ±e±) + 4 jets and p p → W H W H → τ±μ±( τ±e±,μ±e±) + 6 jets.展开更多

We present the...We investigate the lepton flavor violating productions pp/pp→eμ + X in the framework of the R-parity violating (RPV) supersymmetric model at the Tevatron and the CERN large hadron collider (LHC). We present the total cross sections including the next-to-leading order (NLO) QCD corrections and the contribution from gluon-gluon fusion subprocess. Our numerical results show that the one-loop QCD corrections significantly increase the tree-level cross sections, and the variation of K factor is in the range between 1.28 (1.32) and 1.79 (1.58) at the Tevatron (LHC). We find that the QCD correction from the one-loop gluon-gluon fusion subprocess is remarkable at the LHC and should be taken into account.展开更多

We find that the contributions of the 331 model to the LFV decays τ→μM mainly come from the new neutral gauge boson Z′. Study of neutrino properties is nowadays one of the most active domains of research in physics. On the one hand, fundamental properties of the neutrinos like their absolute mass, their character (are they Dirac or Maj...Study of neutrino properties is nowadays one of the most active domains of research in physics. On the one hand, fundamental properties of the neutrinos like their absolute mass, their character (are they Dirac or Majorana particles?) and the number of neutrino flavors, are still unknown. On the other hand, the knowledge of these properties are of great importance since the neutrinos are very abundant in nature and play a key role in nuclear and particle physics, astrophysics and cosmology. In addition, the results of the neutrino oscillation experiments have convincingly showed that neutrinos have mass and mix, in contradiction to the initial assumptions of the Standard Model. In this context there is an increased interest in the study of the Lepton Number Violating (LNV) processes, since they are capable to decide on the above mentioned neutrino properties. Since recently, the neutrinoless double beta (0nββ) decay was considered the only process able to distinguish between Dirac or Majorana neutrinos and to give a hint on the absolute mass of the electron neutrino. At present, the increased luminosity of the LHC experiments at CERN makes it feasable the search for LNV processes at LHC as well. Besides the neutrino character, these studies can also shed light on the existence of other types of neutrinos (the sterile neutrinos), than the three known ones. In this paper, I make a brief review on our present knowledge about the neutrino properties and on the way they can be probed by LNV processes at low- and high-energies. Particularly, I refer to the 0nββ decay process and to the first attempts of searching of LNV processes in hadron collider experiments, particularly in LHC experiments at CERN-Geneva.展开更多

The hitherto unconstrained lepton flavor mixings,induced by the new gauge boson Z ,which are the prediction of many new physics models,such as topcolor-assisted technicolor (TC2) models and flavor-universal TC2 models...The hitherto unconstrained lepton flavor mixings,induced by the new gauge boson Z ,which are the prediction of many new physics models,such as topcolor-assisted technicolor (TC2) models and flavor-universal TC2 models,may lead to the lepton flavor violating productions of τμˉ,τeˉ and μeˉ in photon-photon collision at the proposed International Linear Collider (ILC).Through a comparative analysis of these processes,we find that the better channel to probe the new physics models is the production of τμˉ or τeˉ which occurs at a much higher rate than μeˉ production due to the large mixing angle and the large flavor changing coupling,and may reach the detectable level of the ILC for a large part of the parameter space.Since the rates predicted by the Standard Model are far below the detectable level,these processes may serve as a sensitive probe for such new physics models.展开更多
The rapid advent in artificial intelligence and big data has revolutionized the dynamic requirement in the demands of the computing resource for executing specific tasks in the cloud environment.The process of achievi...The rapid advent in artificial intelligence and big data has revolutionized the dynamic requirement in the demands of the computing resource for executing specific tasks in the cloud environment.The process of achieving autonomic resource management is identified to be a herculean task due to its huge distributed and heterogeneous environment.Moreover,the cloud network needs to provide autonomic resource management and deliver potential services to the clients by complying with the requirements of Quality-of-Service(QoS)without impacting the Service Level Agreements(SLAs).However,the existing autonomic cloud resource managing frameworks are not capable in handling the resources of the cloud with its dynamic requirements.In this paper,Coot Bird Behavior Model-based Workload Aware Autonomic Resource Management Scheme(CBBM-WARMS)is proposed for handling the dynamic requirements of cloud resources through the estimation of workload that need to be policed by the cloud environment.This CBBM-WARMS initially adopted the algorithm of adaptive density peak clustering for workloads clustering of the cloud.Then,it utilized the fuzzy logic during the process of workload scheduling for achieving the determining the availability of cloud resources.It further used CBBM for potential Virtual Machine(VM)deployment that attributes towards the provision of optimal resources.It is proposed with the capability of achieving optimal QoS with minimized time,energy consumption,SLA cost and SLA violation.The experimental validation of the proposed CBBMWARMS confirms minimized SLA cost of 19.21%and reduced SLA violation rate of 18.74%,better than the compared autonomic cloud resource managing frameworks.展开更多

We present the comaprative study of semileptonic and leptonic decays of Ds, D±and D0meson(D →M l+-αl-β, D → l+αlβ, D → l+αvα;α,β=e,μ) within the framework of R-parity violating the( Rp) Minimal...We present the comaprative study of semileptonic and leptonic decays of Ds, D±and D0meson(D →M l+-αl-β, D → l+αlβ, D → l+αvα;α,β=e,μ) within the framework of R-parity violating the( Rp) Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model(MSSM). The comparison shows that combination and product couplings,(λβiα λ* ij qor λβqkλ*αj k)contribution to the branching fractions of the said processes(under consideration) is consistent with or comparable to the experimental measurements in most of the cases. However, some cases exist where these contributions are highly suppressed. We identify such cases in our analysis and single out the important ones suitable for exploring in the future and current experiments.展开更多
We search for a possible relationship between weak gravity conjecture(WGC)and conformal field theory(CFT)in hyperscaling violating and Kerr-Newman-AdS black holes.We deal with the critical points of the black hole sys...We search for a possible relationship between weak gravity conjecture(WGC)and conformal field theory(CFT)in hyperscaling violating and Kerr-Newman-AdS black holes.We deal with the critical points of the black hole systems using the correlation function introduced in CFT and discuss WGC conditions using the imaginary part of the energy obtained from the critical points and their poles.Under the assumptions z=1,d=1,andθ→0-,we link WGC to hyperscaling violating black holes owing to the existence of rHvalues larger and smaller than one.For the second black hole system,we study the conditions of WGC for Kerr-Newman-AdS black holes using rotation and radius parameters.Then,we show that the conditions of WGC are satisfied when the charged particle near the hyperscaling violating and Kerr-Newman black holes is 1/a with a ratio a/l《1.展开更多

We discuss possible implications of exotic stringy instantons for baryon-violating signatures in future colliders. In particular, we discuss high-energy quark collisions and A- transitions. In principle, the A-A proce...We discuss possible implications of exotic stringy instantons for baryon-violating signatures in future colliders. In particular, we discuss high-energy quark collisions and A- transitions. In principle, the A-A process can be probed by high-luminosity electron-positron colliders. However, we find that an extremely high luminosity is needed in order to provide a (somewhat) stringent bound compared to the current data on NN→ππ,KK. On the other hand, (exotic) instanton-induced six-quark interactions can be tested in near future high-energy colliders beyond LHC, at energies around 20-100 TeV. The Super proton-proton Collider (SppC) would be capable of such measurement given the proposed energy level of 50-90 TeV. Comparison with other channels is made. In particular, we show the compatibility of our model with neutron-antineutron and NN→ππ, KK bounds.展开更多

A duality property of this mechanism indicates that there exist eight possible Higgs triplet Yukawa couplings which result in the same neutrino mass matrix. In this paper, we work out the one-loop renormalization group equations for the effective neutrino mass matrix in the supersymmetric left-right model. The stability of the Typeseesaw scenario is briefly discussed. We also study the lepton-flavor-violating processes (τ → μγ and τ → eγ) by using the reconstructed Higgs triplet Yukawa couplings.展开更多

文摘The hitherto unconstrained lepton flavor mixings,induced by the new gauge boson Z ,which are the prediction of many new physics models,such as topcolor-assisted technicolor (TC2) models and flavor-universal TC2 models,may lead to the lepton flavor violating productions of τμˉ,τeˉ and μeˉ in photon-photon collision at the proposed International Linear Collider (ILC).Through a comparative analysis of these processes,we find that the better channel to probe the new physics models is the production of τμˉ or τeˉ which occurs at a much higher rate than μeˉ production due to the large mixing angle and the large flavor changing coupling,and may reach the detectable level of the ILC for a large part of the parameter space.Since the rates predicted by the Standard Model are far below the detectable level,these processes may serve as a sensitive probe for such new physics models.
文摘The rapid advent in artificial intelligence and big data has revolutionized the dynamic requirement in the demands of the computing resource for executing specific tasks in the cloud environment.The process of achieving autonomic resource management is identified to be a herculean task due to its huge distributed and heterogeneous environment.Moreover,the cloud network needs to provide autonomic resource management and deliver potential services to the clients by complying with the requirements of Quality-of-Service(QoS)without impacting the Service Level Agreements(SLAs).However,the existing autonomic cloud resource managing frameworks are not capable in handling the resources of the cloud with its dynamic requirements.In this paper,Coot Bird Behavior Model-based Workload Aware Autonomic Resource Management Scheme(CBBM-WARMS)is proposed for handling the dynamic requirements of cloud resources through the estimation of workload that need to be policed by the cloud environment.This CBBM-WARMS initially adopted the algorithm of adaptive density peak clustering for workloads clustering of the cloud.Then,it utilized the fuzzy logic during the process of workload scheduling for achieving the determining the availability of cloud resources.It further used CBBM for potential Virtual Machine(VM)deployment that attributes towards the provision of optimal resources.It is proposed with the capability of achieving optimal QoS with minimized time,energy consumption,SLA cost and SLA violation.The experimental validation of the proposed CBBMWARMS confirms minimized SLA cost of 19.21%and reduced SLA violation rate of 18.74%,better than the compared autonomic cloud resource managing frameworks.

文摘The study of the charge conjugation and parity(CP)violation of hyperon is the precision frontier for probing possible new CP violation sources beyond the standard model(SM).With the large number of quantum entangled hyperonantihyperon pairs to be produced at Super Tau-Charm Facility(STCF),the CP asymmetry of hyperon is expected to be tested with a statistical sensitivity of 10^(−4) or even better.To cope with the statistical precision,the systematic effects from various aspects are critical and need to be studied in detail.In this paper,the sensitivity effects on the CP violation parameters associated with the detector resolution,including those of the position and momentum,are studied and discussed in detail.The results provide valuable guidance for the design of STCF detector.

文摘We present the comaprative study of semileptonic and leptonic decays of Ds, D±and D0meson(D →M l+-αl-β, D → l+αlβ, D → l+αvα;α,β=e,μ) within the framework of R-parity violating the( Rp) Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model(MSSM). The comparison shows that combination and product couplings,(λβiα λ* ij qor λβqkλ*αj k)contribution to the branching fractions of the said processes(under consideration) is consistent with or comparable to the experimental measurements in most of the cases. However, some cases exist where these contributions are highly suppressed. We identify such cases in our analysis and single out the important ones suitable for exploring in the future and current experiments.
文摘We search for a possible relationship between weak gravity conjecture(WGC)and conformal field theory(CFT)in hyperscaling violating and Kerr-Newman-AdS black holes.We deal with the critical points of the black hole systems using the correlation function introduced in CFT and discuss WGC conditions using the imaginary part of the energy obtained from the critical points and their poles.Under the assumptions z=1,d=1,andθ→0-,we link WGC to hyperscaling violating black holes owing to the existence of rHvalues larger and smaller than one.For the second black hole system,we study the conditions of WGC for Kerr-Newman-AdS black holes using rotation and radius parameters.Then,we show that the conditions of WGC are satisfied when the charged particle near the hyperscaling violating and Kerr-Newman black holes is 1/a with a ratio a/l《1.

文摘In this study,we analyze the rare decays of the neutral vector mesons J/ψ and Υ(nS)in the scenario of the minimal R-symmetric supersymmetric standard model using the effective Lagrangian method.The predicted branching ratios are dominated by the mass insertion parameters δ^(ij),i.e.,the off-diagonal inputs,and the contributions of different parts are comparable.Taking into account the experimental constraints on the mass insertion parameters,the predicted branching ratios for the most promising processes Υ(nS)→lτ are ten orders of magnitude smaller than the present experimental bounds.

文摘The diphoton invariant mass distribution from the interference between gg→H→γγ and gg→γγ is almost antisymmetric around the Higgs mass MH.We propose a new observable Aint,the ratio of the sign-reversed integral around MH(e.g.■)and the cross-section of the Higgs signal,to quantify this effect.We study Aint both in the Standard Model(SM)and new physics with various CP violating Hγγ couplings.Aint in SM could reach a value of 10%,while for CP violating Hyy coupling Aint could range from 10% to-10%,which could probably be detected in the HL-LHC experiments.Aint with both CP violating Hγγ and Hgg couplings is also studied,and its range of values is found to be slightly larger.

文摘We discuss possible implications of exotic stringy instantons for baryon-violating signatures in future colliders. In particular, we discuss high-energy quark collisions and A- transitions. In principle, the A-A process can be probed by high-luminosity electron-positron colliders. However, we find that an extremely high luminosity is needed in order to provide a (somewhat) stringent bound compared to the current data on NN→ππ,KK. On the other hand, (exotic) instanton-induced six-quark interactions can be tested in near future high-energy colliders beyond LHC, at energies around 20-100 TeV. The Super proton-proton Collider (SppC) would be capable of such measurement given the proposed energy level of 50-90 TeV. Comparison with other channels is made. In particular, we show the compatibility of our model with neutron-antineutron and NN→ππ, KK bounds.

文摘In the supersymmetric left-right model, the light neutrino masses are given by the Type-seesaw mechanism. A duality property of this mechanism indicates that there exist eight possible Higgs triplet Yukawa couplings which result in the same neutrino mass matrix. In this paper, we work out the one-loop renormalization group equations for the effective neutrino mass matrix in the supersymmetric left-right model. The stability of the Typeseesaw scenario is briefly discussed. We also study the lepton-flavor-violating processes (τ → μγ and τ → eγ) by using the reconstructed Higgs triplet Yukawa couplings.
