Methods: in 100 cases of patients treated in our ICU ward from February 2020 to October 2021, patients were divided into two groups according to the chronological order of treatment, marked according to different care methods, patients using routine care as control group, another group as research group, RASS score results for the patients, compare the clinical effect of different care methods. Results: ① In terms of therapeutic effect, the probability were higher than the control group (p <0.05);② In terms of clinical metrics, the levels of various clinical indicators, such as extubation time, mechanical ventilation time and time of treatment at ICU and hospitalization in the study group, were smaller than those of the control patients (P <0.05);③ In terms of the probability of adverse symptoms, the probability of the VAP, unplanned extubation, and cardiovascular events in the study group was basically not statistically different from the control group (p> 0.05);④ At the level of cognitive function, before the patient receives medical care, there was basically no difference in cognitive function levels between the two groups (p> 0.05), and the levels were higher on the third day after care compared with the control patients, and the difference was statistically significant (P <0.05). Conclusion: for patients treated in the ICU, the clinical effect of nursing according to the RASS score results under the guidance of the target is more obvious, and the cognitive function level of patients in the process of nursing has been greatly improved, effectively improving the level of various clinical symptoms, which is worthy of clinical promotion and application.展开更多
