In this scenario, the accelerated expansion of the universe is driven by the cosmological"constant" Λ(equivalently the vacuum energy), and the varying α is driven by a subdominant scalar field ? coupling with the electromagnetic field. To deal with the construction difficulties of Xiangjiaba underground hydropower station,such as complex geological conditions,narrow rock bench,high loading,high quality requirements and urgent time limit,the project ...To deal with the construction difficulties of Xiangjiaba underground hydropower station,such as complex geological conditions,narrow rock bench,high loading,high quality requirements and urgent time limit,the project adopted the concept of precision blasting.The explosive energy and rock mass fragmentation were well controlled by taking reasonable excavation sequence,designing steel pipe drilling frame,the additional techniques of double layer smooth blasting,evenly micro charge,staggered arrangement of boreholes and pre-stressed anchors.These technologies ensured the excavation quality of the rock face beam,achieving successful blasting results:Semi hole ratio was 100%in Ⅱ surrounding rock,99.2%in Ⅲ surrounding rock and 90%~ 97.3%in Ⅳ surrounding rock;underbreak was avoided and the average backbreak was only2.9 cm;the unevenness was 0 ~ 4 cm;the influence depth of blasting and unloading was 0.2 ~ 0.7 cm.展开更多

This paper proposes an optimal dynamic reserve activation plan after the occurrence of an emergency situation (generator/transmission line outage, load increase or both). An optimal plan is developed to handle the e...This paper proposes an optimal dynamic reserve activation plan after the occurrence of an emergency situation (generator/transmission line outage, load increase or both). An optimal plan is developed to handle the emergency, using the coordinated action of fast and slow reserves, for secure operation with minimum overall cost. It considers the reserves supplied by the conventional thermal generators (spinning reserves), hydro power units and load demands (demand-side reserves). The optimal backing down of costly/fast reserves and bringing up of slow reserves in each sub-interval in an integrated manner is proposed. The proposed reserve activation approaches are solved using the genetic algorithm, and some of the simulation results are also compared using the Matlab optimization toolbox and the general algebraic modeling system (GAMS) software. The simulation studies are performed on the IEEE 30, 57 and 300 bus test systems. These results demonstrate the advantage of the proposed integrated/dynamic reserve activation plan over the conventional/sequential approach.展开更多
Orthology relations can be used to transfer annotations from one gene (or protein) to another. Hence, detecting orthology relations has become an important task in the post-genomic era. Various genomic events, such ...Orthology relations can be used to transfer annotations from one gene (or protein) to another. Hence, detecting orthology relations has become an important task in the post-genomic era. Various genomic events, such as duplication and horizontal gene transfer, can cause erroneous assignment of orthology relations. In closely-related species, gene neighborhood information can be used to resolve many ambiguities in orthology inference. Here we present OrthoGNC, a software for accurately predicting pairwise orthology relations based on gene neighborhood conservation. Analyses on simulated and real data reveal the high accuracy of OrthoGNC. In addition to orthol- ogy detection, OrthoGNC can be employed to investigate the conservation of genomic context among potential orthologs detected by other methods.
