This paper presents an adaptive path planner for unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) to adapt a real-time path search procedure to variations and fluctuations of UAVs’ relevant performances, with respect to sensory cap...This paper presents an adaptive path planner for unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) to adapt a real-time path search procedure to variations and fluctuations of UAVs’ relevant performances, with respect to sensory capability, maneuverability, and flight velocity limit. On the basis of a novel adaptability-involved problem statement, bi-level programming (BLP) and variable planning step techniques are introduced to model the necessary path planning components and then an adaptive path planner is developed for the purpose of adaptation and optimization. Additionally, both probabilistic-risk-based obstacle avoidance and performance limits are described as path search constraints to guarantee path safety and navigability. A discrete-search-based path planning solution, embedded with four optimization strategies, is especially designed for the planner to efficiently generate optimal flight paths in complex operational spaces, within which different surface-to-air missiles (SAMs) are deployed. Simulation results in challenging and stochastic scenarios firstly demonstrate the effectiveness and efficiency of the proposed planner, and then verify its great adaptability and relative stability when planning optimal paths for a UAV with changing or fluctuating performances.展开更多
Fractional calculus has been widely used to study the flow of viscoelastic fluids recently,and fractional differential equations have attracted a lot of attention.However,the research has shown that the fractional equ...Fractional calculus has been widely used to study the flow of viscoelastic fluids recently,and fractional differential equations have attracted a lot of attention.However,the research has shown that the fractional equation with constant order operators has certain limitations in characterizing some physical phenomena.In this paper,the viscoelastic fluid flow of generalized Maxwell fluids in an infinite straight pipe driven by a periodic pressure gradient is investigated systematically.Consider the complexity of the material structure and multi-scale effects in the viscoelastic fluid flow.The modified time fractional Maxwell models and the corresponding governing equations with distributed/variable order time fractional derivatives are proposed.Based on the L1-approximation formula of Caputo fractional derivatives,the implicit finite difference schemes for the distributed/variable order time fractional governing equations are presented,and the numerical solutions are derived.In order to test the correctness and availability of numerical schemes,two numerical examples are established to give the exact solutions.The comparisons between the numerical solutions and the exact solutions have been made,and their high consistency indicates that the present numerical methods are effective.Then,this paper analyzes the velocity distributions of the distributed/variable order fractional Maxwell governing equations under specific conditions,and discusses the effects of the weight coefficient(α)in distributed order time fractional derivatives,the orderα(r,t)in variable fractional order derivatives,the relaxation timeλ,and the frequencyωof the periodic pressure gradient on the fluid flow velocity.Finally,the flow rates of the distributed/variable order fractional Maxwell governing equations are also studied.展开更多

An improved BN structural learning algorithm with IF is designed to mine causal relationships among ocean variables to build network structure. Nondirectional inference mechanism of BN is applied to achieve the synchronous interpolation of multiple missing time series. With the IFBN,all ocean variables are placed in a causal network visually,making full use of information about related variables to fill missing data. More importantly,the synchronous interpolation of multiple variables can avoid model retraining when interpolative objects change. Interpolation experiments show that IFBN has even better interpolation accuracy,effectiveness and stability than existing methods.展开更多

The TIC var iables wer...The reliability and reliable indexes of q ua ntitative assessment of coronary flow reserve (CFR) by using time intensity cur ve (TIC) via myocardial contrast echocardiography were investigated. The TIC var iables were obtained by employing acoustic densitometry (AD) technique before an d after acetylcholine (Ach) injection in 12 dogs. Meanwhile, the correlation be tween these variables and CFR was analyzed. Among the variables derived from TIC , peak intensity (PI), area under the curve (AUC) and descending slope (DS) were increased significantly ( P <0.05) with the increase of coronary blood flow a fter Ach injection. Conversely, time to peak (TP), half time of descent (HT) , and mean transit time (MTT) were decreased remarkably ( P <0.0001). Th e P I and AUC ratios from post to pre Ach injection were strongly associated with CFR with the correlation coefficient (r) being 0.8366 and 0.8824, respectively. It is reliable by using the variables derived from TIC with myocardial contrast echocardiography to quantitatively evaluate regional myocardial CFR. The PI an d AUC ratios from post to pre Ach injection are the reliable indexes for quan titative assessment of CFR.展开更多

Unlike the original empirical mode decomposition (EMD), which uses spline fits to extract variations from the signal by separating the local mean from the fluctuations in the decomposing process, this new method being proposed takes advantage of the theory of variable finite impulse response (FIR) filtering where filter coefficients and breakpoint frequencies can be adjusted to track any peak-to-peak time scale changes. The IMFs are results of a multiple variable frequency response FIR filtering when signals pass through the filters. Numerical examples validate that in contrast with the original EMD, the proposed method can fine-tune the frequency resolution and suppress the aliasing effectively.展开更多

The control system should meet the demands of quick response to the test requirements of the product part. A new kind of real time data driving multi-axis linkage and synergic movement control strategy of 3D roll forming is put forward in the paper. In the new control strategy, the forming data are automatically generated according to the shape of the parts, and the multi-axis linkage movement together with cooperative motion among the six stands of the 3D roll forming machine is driven by the real-time information, and the control nodes are also driven by the forming data. The new control strategy is applied to a 48 axis 3D roll forming machine developed by our research center, and the control servo period is less than 10ms. A forming experiment of variable cross section part is carried out, and the forming preci- sion is better than + 0.5mm by the control strategy. The result of the experiment proves that the control strategy has significant potentiality for the development of 3D roll forming production line with large scale, multi-axis ganged and svner^ic movement展开更多

The ...In this paper, adaptive variable structure neural control is presented for a class of uncertain multi-input multi-output (MIMO) nonlinear systems with state time-varying delays and unknown nonlinear dead-zones. The unknown time-varying delay uncer- tainties are compensated for using appropriate Lyapunov-Krasovskii functionals in the design. The approach removes the assumption of linear function outside the deadband without necessarily constructing a dead-zone inverse as an added contribution. By utilizing the integral-type Lyapunov function and introducing an adaptive compensation term for the upper bound of the residual and optimal approximation error as well as the dead-zone disturbance, the closed-loop control system is proved to be semi-globally uniformly ultimately bounded. In addition, a modified adaptive control algorithm is given in order to avoid the high-frequency chattering phenomenon. Simulation results demonstrate the effectiveness of the approach.展开更多

The deduced switching surface and controller contain not only the current step of state feedback but also some former steps of controls. Stability analysis with and without time delay information is also investigated in this paper. Inferring the time delays and interactions is challenging due to syst...Time delays exist widely in real systems, and time-delayed interactions can result in abundant dynamic behaviors and functions in dynamic networks. Inferring the time delays and interactions is challenging due to systematic nonlinearity,noises, a lack of information, and so on. Recently, Shi et al. proposed a random state variable resetting method to detect the interactions in a continuous-time dynamic network. By arbitrarily resetting the state variable of a driving node, the equivalent coupling functions of the driving node to any response node in the network can be reconstructed. In this paper,we introduce this method in time-delayed dynamic networks. To infer actual time delays, the nearest neighbor correlation(NNC) function for a given time delay is defined. The significant increments of NNC originate from the delayed effect.Based on the increments, the time delays can be reconstructed and the reconstruction errors depend on the sampling time interval. After time delays are accurately identified, the equivalent coupling functions can also be reconstructed. The numerical results have fully verified the validity of the theoretical analysis.展开更多

Numerical simulation was carried out to demonstrate the effectiveness and feasibility of the presented control method.
文摘The number of tardy jobs of the single machine scheduling problem with a variable processing time is studied in accordance with the published instances of traffic transportation management engineering. It is proved by 3 partition problem that if the problem is of ready time and common deadline constrained, its complexity is NP hard in the strong sense. Finally, a polynomial algorithm for solving unit processing time and common deadline problems is proposed.

文摘The problem of variable sampling time interval which appears in application of Kalman Filtering is analyzed and the corresponding filtering process with or without present transition matrix is suggested, then an application experiment for astronomical surveying is introduced. In this process, the known stochastically variable sampling time intervals play the roles as deterministic input sequences of the state-space description, and the corresponding matrix and (if needed) state transition matrix can be established by performing real-time and structure-linear system identification.
文摘In this paper, single machine scheduling problems with variable processing time is discussed according to published instances of management engineering. Processing time of a job is the product of a “coefficient' of the job on position i and a “normal' processing time of the job. The criteria considered is to minimize scheduled length of all jobs. A lemma is proposed and proved. In no deadline constrained condition, the problem belongs to polynomial time algorithm. It is proved by using 3 partition that if the problem is deadline constrained, its complexity is strong NP hard. Finally, a conjuncture is proposed that is to be proved.
文摘In this paper, a new complex variable defined as “precursive time” able to correlate general relativity (GR) and quantum field theory (QFT) in a single principle was characterized. The thesis was elaborated according to a hypothesis coherent with the “Einstein’s General Theory of Relativity”, making use of a new mathematical-topological variety called “time-space” developed on the properties of the hypersphere and explained mathematically through the quaternion of Hurwitz-Lipschitz algebra. In this publication we pay attention to the interaction between the weak nuclear force theory (EWT) and the nuclear mass of the Standard Model.
文摘Time delays exist widely in real systems, and time-delayed interactions can result in abundant dynamic behaviors and functions in dynamic networks. Inferring the time delays and interactions is challenging due to systematic nonlinearity,noises, a lack of information, and so on. Recently, Shi et al. proposed a random state variable resetting method to detect the interactions in a continuous-time dynamic network. By arbitrarily resetting the state variable of a driving node, the equivalent coupling functions of the driving node to any response node in the network can be reconstructed. In this paper,we introduce this method in time-delayed dynamic networks. To infer actual time delays, the nearest neighbor correlation(NNC) function for a given time delay is defined. The significant increments of NNC originate from the delayed effect.Based on the increments, the time delays can be reconstructed and the reconstruction errors depend on the sampling time interval. After time delays are accurately identified, the equivalent coupling functions can also be reconstructed. The numerical results have fully verified the validity of the theoretical analysis.

文摘In this paper, we propose a method for the projective synchronization between two different chaotic systems with variable time delays. Using active control approach, the suitable controller is constructed to make the states of two different diverse time delayed systems asymptotically synchronize up to the desired scaling factor. Based on the Lyapunov stability theory, the sufficient condition for the projective synchronization is calculated theoretically. Numerical simulations of the projective synchronization between Maekey-Glass system and Ikeda system with variable time delays are shown to validate the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm.
