The acceleration and mode transition performance are two significant performances of Adaptive Cycle Engine(ACE).However,separating the processes of acceleration and mode transition will slow down the response speed of...The acceleration and mode transition performance are two significant performances of Adaptive Cycle Engine(ACE).However,separating the processes of acceleration and mode transition will slow down the response speed of thrust.Therefore,this paper proposes a multi-mode acceleration optimization control method that simultaneously performs ACE acceleration and mode transition.Firstly,an ACE component model with inlet flow characteristics was established,and the performance before and after mode transition were analyzed.Secondly,the principle of ACE acceleration optimization was analyzed,and the Front Variable Area Bypass Injector(FVABI)and Mode Selection Valve(MSV)were adopted in the acceleration process.Finally,based on the Sequential Quadratic Programming(SQP)algorithm,considering the degradation effects of engine components,we optimize the acceleration control plan for fuel and variable geometry mechanisms.The simulation results show that at the subsonic cruise point,the ACE multi-mode acceleration optimization control method can shorten the acceleration time from idle to middle state by 30.33%,and accelerate the thrust response speed by 33.72%.When the compressor flow rate of ACE deteriorates by 2% and the high-pressure turbine efficiency deteriorates by 4%,the adaptive acceleration control plan increases the high-pressure speed by 2.13% and thrust by about 6.82%;within the flight envelope,the acceleration time is reduced by more than 25%,and the thrust response speed is increased by more than 20%.展开更多

The closed-loop systems are proved to have robustness to uncertainties with unspecified boundaries. Research was conducted on small-sectioned (1000 ...Obtaining a reasonable mold flow field for casting slabs with different sections is challenging by solely modifying the nozzle structure and continuous casting process. Research was conducted on small-sectioned (1000 mm × 220 mm) and large-sectioned (3250 mm × 220 mm) slab continuous casting molds with a fixed nozzle form (concave bottom nozzle, side port inclination angle of 0°). A three-dimensional electromagnetic model is established to analyze the current frequency, installation position, and rotation angle under the active deceleration mode and acceleration mode. The results indicate that, regardless of the deceleration mode for small-sectioned slabs or the acceleration mode for large-sectioned slabs, the magnetic flux density in the mold decreases with increasing current frequency. However, the maximum electromagnetic force initially increases and then decreases, suggesting that both electromagnetic modes have the same optimal current frequency (3 Hz). The optimal mechanical design parameters for the deceleration mode of electromagnetic variable flow device (EM-VFD) with the small-sectioned slab are as follows: installation position Z = 115 mm and rotation angle of 15°, ensuring that the maximum electromagnetic force is applied to the nozzle jet area. For the acceleration mode of the large-sectioned slab EM-VFD, the optimal mechanical design parameters are as follows: Z = 115 mm and rotation angle of 10°, ensuring that the maximum electromagnetic force is applied to 1/4 and 3/4 areas of the wide face. These findings indicate that the new electromagnetic variable flow device, which can actively adjust the flow rate and angle of the steel even under given working conditions, provides the possibility for reasonable control of the mold’s flow field.展开更多

Unlike the original empirical mode decomposition (EMD), which uses spline fits to extract variations from the signal by separating the local mean from the fluctuations in the decomposing process, this new method being proposed takes advantage of the theory of variable finite impulse response (FIR) filtering where filter coefficients and breakpoint frequencies can be adjusted to track any peak-to-peak time scale changes. The IMFs are results of a multiple variable frequency response FIR filtering when signals pass through the filters. Numerical examples validate that in contrast with the original EMD, the proposed method can fine-tune the frequency resolution and suppress the aliasing effectively.展开更多
The two coupled governing differential equations for the out-of-plane vibrations of non-uniform beams with variable curvature are derived via the Hamilton’s principle.These equations are expressed in terms of flexura...The two coupled governing differential equations for the out-of-plane vibrations of non-uniform beams with variable curvature are derived via the Hamilton’s principle.These equations are expressed in terms of flexural and torsional displacements simultaneously.In this study,the analytical method is proposed.Firstly,two physical parameters are introduced to simplify the analysis.One derives the explicit relations between the flexural and the torsional displacements which can also be used to reduce the difficulty in experimental measurements.Based on the relation,the two governing characteristic differential equations with variable coefficients can be uncoupled into a sixth-order ordinary differential equation in terms of the flexural displacement only.When the material and geometric properties of the beam are in arbitrary polynomial forms,the exact solutions with regard to the outof-plane vibrations of non-uniform beams with variable curvature can be obtained by the recurrence formula.In addition,the mode transition mechanism is revealed and the influence of several parameters on the vibration of the non-uniform beam with variable curvature is explored.展开更多
This study proposes and experimentally validates an optimal integrated system to control the automotive continuously variable transmission(CVT)by Model Predictive Control(MPC)to achieve its expected transmission effic...This study proposes and experimentally validates an optimal integrated system to control the automotive continuously variable transmission(CVT)by Model Predictive Control(MPC)to achieve its expected transmission efficiency range.The control system framework consists of top and bottom layers.In the top layer,a driving intention recognition system is designed on the basis of fuzzy control strategy to determine the relationship between the driver intention and CVT target ratio at the corresponding time.In the bottom layer,a new slip state dynamic equation is obtained considering slip characteristics and its related constraints,and a clamping force bench is established.Innovatively,a joint controller based on model predictive control(MPC)is designed taking internal combustion engine torque and slip between the metal belt and pulley as optimization dual targets.A cycle is attained by solving the optimization target to achieve optimum engine torque and the input slip in real-time.Moreover,the new controller provides good robustness.Finally,performance is tested by actual CVT vehicles.Results show that compared with traditional control,the proposed control improves vehicle transmission efficiency by approximately 9.12%-9.35%with high accuracy.展开更多

During the boreal summer,intraseasonal oscillations exhibit significant interannual variations in intensity over two key regions:the central-western equatorial Pacific(5°S-5°N,150°E-150°W)and the s...During the boreal summer,intraseasonal oscillations exhibit significant interannual variations in intensity over two key regions:the central-western equatorial Pacific(5°S-5°N,150°E-150°W)and the subtropical Northwestern Pacific(10°-20°N,130°E-175°W).The former is well-documented and considered to be influenced by the ENSO,while the latter has received comparatively less attention and is likely influenced by the Pacific Meridional Mode(PMM),as suggested by partial correlation analysis results.To elucidate the physical processes responsible for the enhanced(weakened)intraseasonal convection over the subtropical northwestern Pacific during warm(cold)PMM years,the authors employed a moisture budget analysis.The findings reveal that during warm PMM years,there is an increase in summer-mean moisture over the subtropical northwestern Pacific.This increase interacts with intensified vertical motion perturbations in the region,leading to greater vertical moisture advection in the lower troposphere and consequently resulting in convective instability.Such a process is pivotal in amplifying intraseasonal convection anomalies.The observational findings were further verified by model experiments forced by PMM-like sea surface temperature patterns.展开更多

To realize the whole state feedback,the roll angle,normal overloads and angular rates were considered as state variables of the autopilot,and a parametric sliding mode controller was designed via feedback linearization. A novel parametric adaptation law was put forward to estimate the nonlinear timevarying parameter perturbations in real time based on Lyapunov stability theory. A sliding mode boundary layer theory was adopted to smooth the discontinuity of control variables and eliminate the control chattering. The simulation was presented for the roll angle and overload commands tracking in different configuration schemes. The results indicated that the controlled system has robust dynamic tracking performance in condition of the large-scale aerodynamic parametric variety resulted from variable-swept wings.展开更多

Steady state error and control switching frequency are used to constitute the system performance indexes in the coordinating optimization, while the tuning rate of boundary layer width (BLW) is employed as the optimization parameter. Based on the mathematical relationship between the BLW and steady-state error, an optimized BLW tuning rate is added to the nonlinear control term of SMVSC. Simulation experiment results applied to the positioning control of an electro-hydraulic servo system show the comprehensive superiority in dynamical and static state performance by using the proposed controller is better than that by using SMVSC without optimized BLW tuning rate. This succeeds in coordinately considering both chattering reduction and high-precision control realization in SMVSC.展开更多
Utilizing the Standardized Precipitation Evapotranspiration Index(SPEI)and ERA5 reanalysis data,this study investigates the variability of spring drought in southern China from 1979 to 2022 and its associated drivers....Utilizing the Standardized Precipitation Evapotranspiration Index(SPEI)and ERA5 reanalysis data,this study investigates the variability of spring drought in southern China from 1979 to 2022 and its associated drivers.The results indicate that southern China experienced interdecadal changes in SPEI over the past several decades,which can be concluded that drought severity intensified from 1979 to 2010,whereas a transition shift towards increased wetness occurred from 2010 to 2022.The first Empirical Orthogonal Function(EOF1)mode of SPEI variability in southern China accounts for 44.37%of the total variance,reflecting a uniform variation of SPEI across the region.In contrast,the second Empirical Orthogonal Function(EOF2),which explains 24.41%of the total variance,reveals a west-east dipole pattern in SPEI variability.Further analysis indicates that the positive phase of EOF1 is primarily driven by warm sea surface temperature anomalies(SSTAs)in the tropical eastern Pacific.These anomalies induce an anomalous anticyclone over the Philippine Sea,enhancing water vapor transport to southern China during spring.The positive phase of EOF2 is jointly influenced by warm SSTAs in the tropical Indian Ocean and the central Pacific;the latter induces anticyclonic anomalies over the Philippine Sea,which enhance water vapor transport from the western Pacific and increase precipitation in the eastern part of southern China.However,the warm SSTAs in the tropical Indian Ocean trigger an anomalous anticyclone over South Asia,inhibiting water vapor transport from the Bay of Bengal to the western part of southern China and thus reducing precipitation there.展开更多

A variable structure controller is specially designed for handling the airdrop process. The nonlinear system is linearized by input-output feedback linearization using differential geometry theories. On this basis, an inner loop system for velocity and attitude tracking control is designed by using the exponentially approaching rule of the variable structure theory. The whole flight control system is integrated with the outer loop flight altitude control. Digital simulation evidences the applicability of the system to potentially catastrophic course in airdropping heavy cargo and provides robustness against system parameter perturbation.展开更多

The fatigue life of aeroengine turbine disc presents great dispersion due to the randomness of the basic variables,such as applied load,working temperature,geometrical dimensions and material properties.In order to am...The fatigue life of aeroengine turbine disc presents great dispersion due to the randomness of the basic variables,such as applied load,working temperature,geometrical dimensions and material properties.In order to ameliorate reliability analysis efficiency without loss of reliability,the distributed collaborative response surface method(DCRSM) was proposed,and its basic theories were established in this work.Considering the failure dependency among the failure modes,the distributed response surface was constructed to establish the relationship between the failure mode and the relevant random variables.Then,the failure modes were considered as the random variables of system response to obtain the distributed collaborative response surface model based on structure failure criterion.Finally,the given turbine disc structure was employed to illustrate the feasibility and validity of the presented method.Through the comparison of DCRSM,Monte Carlo method(MCM) and the traditional response surface method(RSM),the results show that the computational precision for DCRSM is more consistent with MCM than RSM,while DCRSM needs far less computing time than MCM and RSM under the same simulation conditions.Thus,DCRSM is demonstrated to be a feasible and valid approach for improving the computational efficiency of reliability analysis for aeroengine turbine disc fatigue life with multiple random variables,and has great potential value for the complicated mechanical structure with multi-component and multi-failure mode.展开更多

文摘This study proposes and experimentally validates an optimal integrated system to control the automotive continuously variable transmission(CVT)by Model Predictive Control(MPC)to achieve its expected transmission efficiency range.The control system framework consists of top and bottom layers.In the top layer,a driving intention recognition system is designed on the basis of fuzzy control strategy to determine the relationship between the driver intention and CVT target ratio at the corresponding time.In the bottom layer,a new slip state dynamic equation is obtained considering slip characteristics and its related constraints,and a clamping force bench is established.Innovatively,a joint controller based on model predictive control(MPC)is designed taking internal combustion engine torque and slip between the metal belt and pulley as optimization dual targets.A cycle is attained by solving the optimization target to achieve optimum engine torque and the input slip in real-time.Moreover,the new controller provides good robustness.Finally,performance is tested by actual CVT vehicles.Results show that compared with traditional control,the proposed control improves vehicle transmission efficiency by approximately 9.12%-9.35%with high accuracy.

文摘Automotive industry,as an important pillar of the national economy,has been rapidly developing in recent years.But proplems such as energy comsumption and environmental pollution are posed at the same time.Electro-mechanical variable transmission system is considered one of avilable workarounds.It is brought forward a kind of design methods of dual-mode electro-mechanical variable transmission system rotational speed characteristics and dual-mode drive diagrams.With the motor operating behavior of running in four quadrants and the speed characteristics of the simple internal and external meshing single planetary gear train,four kinds of dual-mode electro-mechanical transmission system scheme are designed.And the velocity,torque and power characteristics of one of the programs are analyzed.The magnitude of the electric split-flow power is an important factor which influences the system performance,so in the parameters matching design,it needs to reduce the power needs under the first mode of the motor.The motor,output rotational speed range and the position of the mode switching point have relationships with the characteristics design of the planetary gear set.The analysis method is to provide a reference for hybrid vehicles' design.As the involved rotational speed and torque relationships are the natural contact of every part of transmission system,a theory basis of system program and performance analysis is provided.

文摘During the boreal summer,intraseasonal oscillations exhibit significant interannual variations in intensity over two key regions:the central-western equatorial Pacific(5°S-5°N,150°E-150°W)and the subtropical Northwestern Pacific(10°-20°N,130°E-175°W).The former is well-documented and considered to be influenced by the ENSO,while the latter has received comparatively less attention and is likely influenced by the Pacific Meridional Mode(PMM),as suggested by partial correlation analysis results.To elucidate the physical processes responsible for the enhanced(weakened)intraseasonal convection over the subtropical northwestern Pacific during warm(cold)PMM years,the authors employed a moisture budget analysis.The findings reveal that during warm PMM years,there is an increase in summer-mean moisture over the subtropical northwestern Pacific.This increase interacts with intensified vertical motion perturbations in the region,leading to greater vertical moisture advection in the lower troposphere and consequently resulting in convective instability.Such a process is pivotal in amplifying intraseasonal convection anomalies.The observational findings were further verified by model experiments forced by PMM-like sea surface temperature patterns.

文摘In this paper,an adaptive sliding mode method was proposed for BTT autopilot of cruise missiles with variable-swept wings. To realize the whole state feedback,the roll angle,normal overloads and angular rates were considered as state variables of the autopilot,and a parametric sliding mode controller was designed via feedback linearization. A novel parametric adaptation law was put forward to estimate the nonlinear timevarying parameter perturbations in real time based on Lyapunov stability theory. A sliding mode boundary layer theory was adopted to smooth the discontinuity of control variables and eliminate the control chattering. The simulation was presented for the roll angle and overload commands tracking in different configuration schemes. The results indicated that the controlled system has robust dynamic tracking performance in condition of the large-scale aerodynamic parametric variety resulted from variable-swept wings.

文摘A sliding mode variable structure control (SMVSC) based on a coordinating optimization algorithm has been developed. Steady state error and control switching frequency are used to constitute the system performance indexes in the coordinating optimization, while the tuning rate of boundary layer width (BLW) is employed as the optimization parameter. Based on the mathematical relationship between the BLW and steady-state error, an optimized BLW tuning rate is added to the nonlinear control term of SMVSC. Simulation experiment results applied to the positioning control of an electro-hydraulic servo system show the comprehensive superiority in dynamical and static state performance by using the proposed controller is better than that by using SMVSC without optimized BLW tuning rate. This succeeds in coordinately considering both chattering reduction and high-precision control realization in SMVSC.

文摘Utilizing the Standardized Precipitation Evapotranspiration Index(SPEI)and ERA5 reanalysis data,this study investigates the variability of spring drought in southern China from 1979 to 2022 and its associated drivers.The results indicate that southern China experienced interdecadal changes in SPEI over the past several decades,which can be concluded that drought severity intensified from 1979 to 2010,whereas a transition shift towards increased wetness occurred from 2010 to 2022.The first Empirical Orthogonal Function(EOF1)mode of SPEI variability in southern China accounts for 44.37%of the total variance,reflecting a uniform variation of SPEI across the region.In contrast,the second Empirical Orthogonal Function(EOF2),which explains 24.41%of the total variance,reveals a west-east dipole pattern in SPEI variability.Further analysis indicates that the positive phase of EOF1 is primarily driven by warm sea surface temperature anomalies(SSTAs)in the tropical eastern Pacific.These anomalies induce an anomalous anticyclone over the Philippine Sea,enhancing water vapor transport to southern China during spring.The positive phase of EOF2 is jointly influenced by warm SSTAs in the tropical Indian Ocean and the central Pacific;the latter induces anticyclonic anomalies over the Philippine Sea,which enhance water vapor transport from the western Pacific and increase precipitation in the eastern part of southern China.However,the warm SSTAs in the tropical Indian Ocean trigger an anomalous anticyclone over South Asia,inhibiting water vapor transport from the Bay of Bengal to the western part of southern China and thus reducing precipitation there.

文摘The difficulty of quantum key agreement is to realize its security and fairness at the same time.This paper presents a new three-party quantum key agreement protocol based on continuous variable single-mode squeezed state.The three parties participating in the agreement are peer entities,making same contributions to the final key.Any one or two participants of the agreement cannot determine the shared key separately.The security analysis shows that the proposed protocol can resist both external and internal attacks.
文摘The mathematical model of a transport aircraft would be subjected to a sudden change when heavy cargo is dropped off in airdropping, which exerts serious influences upon the safety of the aircraft. A variable structure controller is specially designed for handling the airdrop process. The nonlinear system is linearized by input-output feedback linearization using differential geometry theories. On this basis, an inner loop system for velocity and attitude tracking control is designed by using the exponentially approaching rule of the variable structure theory. The whole flight control system is integrated with the outer loop flight altitude control. Digital simulation evidences the applicability of the system to potentially catastrophic course in airdropping heavy cargo and provides robustness against system parameter perturbation.

文摘Two approximation laws of sliding mode for discrete-time variable structure control systems are proposed to overcome the limitations of the exponential approximation law and the variable rate approximation law. By applying the proposed approximation laws of sliding mode to discrete-time variable structure control systems, the stability of origin can be guaranteed, and the chattering along the switching surface caused by discrete-time variable structure control can be restrained effectively. In designing of approximation laws, the problem that the system control input is restricted is also considered, which is very important in practical systems. Finally a simulation example shows the effectiveness of the two approximation laws proposed.
文摘A novel genetic algorithm (NGA) is proposed, which possesses micro-regulation and renascence operation. The optimized variable searching interval is regulated gradually according to the sub-group of excellent individuals. The NGA is used to optimize the parameters of the variable structure control (VSC), which satisfies the new reaching law and sliding mode. It is used in robot control systems. Simulation results are given.

文摘The fatigue life of aeroengine turbine disc presents great dispersion due to the randomness of the basic variables,such as applied load,working temperature,geometrical dimensions and material properties.In order to ameliorate reliability analysis efficiency without loss of reliability,the distributed collaborative response surface method(DCRSM) was proposed,and its basic theories were established in this work.Considering the failure dependency among the failure modes,the distributed response surface was constructed to establish the relationship between the failure mode and the relevant random variables.Then,the failure modes were considered as the random variables of system response to obtain the distributed collaborative response surface model based on structure failure criterion.Finally,the given turbine disc structure was employed to illustrate the feasibility and validity of the presented method.Through the comparison of DCRSM,Monte Carlo method(MCM) and the traditional response surface method(RSM),the results show that the computational precision for DCRSM is more consistent with MCM than RSM,while DCRSM needs far less computing time than MCM and RSM under the same simulation conditions.Thus,DCRSM is demonstrated to be a feasible and valid approach for improving the computational efficiency of reliability analysis for aeroengine turbine disc fatigue life with multiple random variables,and has great potential value for the complicated mechanical structure with multi-component and multi-failure mode.

文摘To study the change mechanism and the control of the variable cycle engine in the process of modal transition,a variable cycle engine model based on component level characteristics is established.The two-dimensional CFD technology is used to simulate the influence of mode selection valve rotation on the engine flow field,which improves the accuracy of the model.Furthermore,the constant flow control plan is proposed in the modal transition process to reduce the engine installed drag.The constant flow control plan adopts the augmentation linear quadratic regulator control method.Simulation results indicate that the control method is able to effectively control the bypass ratio and demand flow of the variable cycle engine,and make the engine transform smoothly,which ensures the stable operation of the engine in modal transition and the constant demand flow of the engine.
