This paper is concerned with a class of nonlinear fractional differential equations with a disturbance parameter in the integral boundary conditions on the infinite interval.By using Guo-Krasnoselskii fixed point theorem,fixed point index theory and the analytic technique,we give the bifurcation point of the parameter which divides the range of parameter for the existence of at least two,one and no positive solutions for the problem.And,by using a fixed point theorem of generalized concave operator and cone theory,we establish the maximum parameter interval for the existence of the unique positive solution for the problem and show that such a positive solution continuously depends on the parameter.In the end,some examples are given to illustrate our main results. 展开更多

Weak measurement offers a powerful framework for probing nonclassical features of quantum mechanics,with anomalous weak values serving as operational signatures of contextuality.While the anomalous weak value verification of quantum contextuality has been predominantly investigated in the single-photon regime and analyzed under approximation condition of infinitesimally small perturbation strength.This study releases the approximation condition and takes into account the impact of perturbation strength on the rigor of the verification.And the investigation on the verification of contextuality is extended to the multi-photon scenarios for observing the influence of the correlation between photons on the verification.Without the limitation of infinitesimally small probability of disturbance,anomalous weak values are identified as necessary for contextuality to emerge,thereby refining the criterion proposed by Pusey[Phys.Rev.Lett.113200401(2014)].In the multi-photon scenarios,the emergence of contextuality also depends strongly on both the photon number and the photon-number distribution state.In particular,contextuality is found to be maximized when the single-photon component dominates and the second-order correlation is lower.These results highlight the critical role of photon statistics in experimental tests of contextuality via anomalous weak values. 展开更多

BACKGROUND:Although the Confusion Assessment Methods for the Intensive Care Unit(CAMICU) is a recommended tool for diagnosing sepsis-associated encephalopathy(SAE),it has several limitations.Mismatch-negativity(MMN) and P3a are components of event-related potentials(ERPs) used with electroencephalography(EEG) and are associated with cerebral function changes in critically ill patients.This study aimed to provide a quantitative,non-invasive method to guide SAE diagnosis in nonsedated patients.METHODS:From January 2022 to March 2023,sepsis patients without sedation were enrolled and assessed via the CAM-ICU,Glasgow Coma Scale(GCS),and ERP under standard procedures.Both MMN and P3a data were collected.The diagnostic value of MMN and P3a was assessed with processed ERP data.RESULTS:Thirty-six patients were included in this study,comprising 19 patients with SAE and 17 patients without SAE(NSAE).MMN and P3a amplitudes decreased,and only FzMMN amplitude significantly decreased in SAE patients(2.03 [1.08,2.93] mV vs.3.21 [1.92,4.34] mV,P=0.040).After median dichotomization,low F3P3a and FzP3a amplitudes were associated with higher CAM-ICU positivity rates and APACHE II scores.Both amplitude in F3P3a(AUC=0.710,95%CI:0.527–0.893,P=0.034) and FzP3a(AUC=0.700,95%CI:0.519–0.881,P=0.041) exhibited moderate diagnostic efficacy for SAE,while FzMMN amplitude lacks effective diagnostic value.CONCLUSION:In this pilot study,ERP components F3P3a and FzP3a amplitudes demonstrated moderate diagnostic value for SAE.These exploratory findings require confirmation in larger and powered cohorts. 展开更多

Resilience planning for urban ecosystems in the Himalayas:Ecosystem service value decline and network vulnerabilities in Lhasa

Lhasa,one of the world's highest cities,confronts the challenge of harmonizing cultural heritage preservation with ecological protection.Assessing the spatiotemporal dynamics of ecosystem service value(ESV)in its central urban area is therefore critical for informing future urban planning and land management.This study systematically analyzed land use evolution,the spatiotemporal characteristics of ecosystem services,and ecological network construction within Lhasa's central urban area.It integrated multi-source data,including Landsat remote sensing imagery from 2000,2010,and 2023,with multiple modeling methods such as the InVEST model,MaxEnt for cultural service assessment,the Minimum Cumulative Resistance(MCR)model,and circuit theory.Based on these analyses,optimization strategies were proposed.The results indicate that from 2000 to 2023,areas of cultivated land,grassland,and water bodies decreased by 7.47%,6.85%,and 0.68%,respectively,while wetland and forest areas expanded by 1.44%and 0.64%.Construction land exhibited significant expansion(12.94%),leading to an overall ESV reduction of 462.8×10^(5)yuan.Vegetation coverage was identified as the pivotal factor influencing ESV distribution,with higher values concentrated in the Lhasa River Basin and near the Lhalu Wetland,diminishing towards the urban core.Furthermore,spatial autocorrelation analysis revealed significant positive spatial clustering,with low-low aggregation in the eastern and central regions and high-high aggregation in the Lhasa River Basin and its surrounding water bodies.Moreover,based on a comprehensive ecosystem service assessment,11 ecological source sites were identified,primarily in the southwestern mountains and northeastern foothills.A comprehensive resistance surface,incorporating factors such as elevation,Normalized Difference Vegetation Index(NDVI),and land use,facilitated the extraction of 23 potential ecological corridors totaling 124.96 km in length.Topological network analysis indicated high redundancy and connectivity;however,marginal source sites relying on single connections exhibited significant vulnerability to rupture.Additionally,the application of circuit theory identified 30 ecological pinch points(current density≥1.5 A/km^(2))and 23 obstacle points,revealing significant blockages to ecological flow along the Qinghai-Xizang Highway,within the old city,and in other areas of high-intensity human activity.To address the identified network deficiencies—‘scattered cores,fragmented corridors,and insufficient resilience’—this study proposes an optimization strategy conceptualized as‘one vein,three corridors,and multiple cores’.Recommendations for enhancing network resilience include the delineation of ecological protection red lines,the integration of plateau-adapted technologies,and the fostering of community governance mechanisms.This approach aims to provide a scientific basis for constructing an ecological security pattern and promoting sustainable development in plateau cities.Ultimately,this research contributes to the enhancement of ecological well-being in the Himalayan region. 展开更多

Against the backdrop of profound restructuring in the global industrial and supply chains,data elements have emerged as a critical force driving the transformation of enterprises'new quality productive forces.To address the ambiguity surrounding its micro-level empowerment mechanism,this paper empirically examines the impact of data elements on enterprises'new quality productive forces and its transmission channels using panel data of Chinese A-share listed firms from 2014 to 2023.The results show that data elements significantly improve the level of enterprises'new quality productive forces.Heterogeneity analysis indicates that this promotional effect is more pronounced in non-state-owned enterprises,large-scale enterprises,and low-leverage enterprises.Mechanism tests confirm that data elements empower new quality productive forces through three paths:enhancing enterprise innovation capability,improving internal operational efficiency,and promoting inter-firm collaboration efficiency.This study provides empirical evidence for understanding the micro-level empowerment logic of data elements and offers theoretical references and practical implications for advancing the deep integration of the digital economy and the real economy. 展开更多

Assessment of pan-immune-inflammation value as a novel marker of proliferative diabetic retinopathy stage

AIM:To evaluate the predictive value of pan-immuneinflammation value(PIV)in the diagnosis of proliferative diabetic retinopathy(PDR)and its association with the stage of PDR.METHODS:This observational case-control study included participants who underwent routine complete blood count testing.Inflammation-related indices,including neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratio,systemic immune-inflammation index(SII),and PIV,were derived and analyzed.Receiver operating characteristic curve(ROC)analysis was applied to assess the diagnostic performance of these indices in distinguishing patients with PDR,with sensitivity,specificity,area under ROC,and optimal threshold values calculated.In addition,binary logistic regression analysis was performed to evaluate the association between inflammatory indices and PDR stage.RESULTS:This study included 205 patients:60 with diabetes without retinopathy(mean age:61.81±10.76y),80 with PDR(mean age:61.63±10.03y)and 65 healthy controls(mean age:59.52±5.88y).The PDR group had significantly higher white blood cell(WBC,P<0.001),monocyte(MONO,P=0.009)and neutrophil(NEU)counts(P<0.001).SII and PIV had the highest sensitivity and area under ROC for predicting patients with PDR(0.822,0.846,respectively).The optimal cut-off values for discriminating patients with PDR were determined to be>527.12 and>299.08 for SII and PIV,respectively.The logistic regression analysis demonstrated that a decrease in lymphocyte(LYM)count and an increase in platelet count(PLT),glycated haemoglobin(HbA1c),SII,and PIV were all significantly associated with the development of high-risk PDR(all P<0.05).PIV was more stable than independent MONO,LYM,PLT and NEU levels in predicting both the diagnosis and stage of PDR.The optimal cut-off value for PIV to discriminate patients with high-risk PDR was found to be>345.87 area under ROC=0.871,with sensitivity of 0.827 and specificity of 0.812.CONCLUSION:PIV is a reliable,valuable,and inexpensive blood index that can be used for early detection and staging of PDR.PIV may therefore be essential to be used for the follow-up of diabetic patients. 展开更多

In this paper,we study the nonlinear Riemann boundary value problem with square roots that is represented by a Cauchy-type integral with kernel density in variable exponent Lebesgue spaces.We discuss the odd-order zero-points distribution of the solutions and separate the single valued analytic branch of the solutions with square roots,then convert the problem to a Riemann boundary value problem in variable exponent Lebesgue spaces and discuss the singularity of solutions at individual zeros belonging to curve.We consider two types of cases those where the coefficient is Hölder and those where it is piecewise Hölder.Then we solve the Hilbert boundary value problem with square roots in variable exponent Lebesgue spaces.By discussing the distribution of the odd-order zero-points for solutions and the method of symmetric extension,we convert the Hilbert problem to a Riemann boundary value problem.The equivalence of the transformation is discussed.Finally,we get the solvable conditions and the direct expressions of the solutions in variable exponent Lebesgue spaces. 展开更多

The shift toward specialized and large-scale agricultural production has spurred the emergence of agricultural clusters as key forces of rural vitalization and sustainable development.This paper explored the formation and evolution of Meizhou pomelo industry cluster in China,focusing on its role in restructuring rural socio-economic systems and integrating the whole value chains.Based on a case study employing qualitative methods such as in-depth interviews and participatory observation,the agricultural cluster evolution of Meizhou pomelo was categorized into three key phases of initial decentralization,self-organized scaling,and reorganized clustering.Geographical proximity and industrial agglomeration constitute the physical foundation,while vertical/horizontal linkages,technologic-al innovation,and policy support enhance competitiveness.Special mechanisms emerge through localized social networks,farmer co-operatives’activation,and cross-regional market expansion.The cluster’s impact is manifested in the shift from extensive to standard-ized and modernized production,diversified and flexible livelihood of farmers,and the integration of agriculture with industry and ser-vices.The development of the whole value chain based on agricultural cluster represents a critical pathway for achieving agricultural modernization,encompassing both internal and external value chain optimization.Through quality assurance systems,product diversi-fication strategies,operational efficiency improvements,and brand enhancement,these clusters amplify product value propositions and market competitiveness.This systemic approach facilitates supply-demand coordination,enables resource synergies,and optimizes eco-nomic returns across the horizontal and vertical value chain.This paper argues that agricultural clusters serve as strategic catalysts for sustainable rural development by reconstructing local production systems,fostering innovation ecosystems,and aligning agricultural modernization.It contributes to debates on rural vitalization by demonstrating how agricultural clustering can reconfigure rural areas as hubs of ecological modernization,rather than mere urban peripheries. 展开更多

Ming-style furniture represents the pinnacle of Chinese traditional furniture,with the four-head official’s cap chair standing out as a representative category due to its classic form and cultural connotations.This paper takes a specific rosewood four-head official’s cap chair inscribed by Wang Shixiang as the research subject,employing a tripartite approach of form analysis,material examination,and inscription interpretation.The chair strictly adheres to the classic form of Ming-style four-head official’s cap chairs,embodying the Ming Dynasty design philosophy of“the unity of function and aesthetics”.The scarcity and unique grain pattern of the golden-flecked rosewood(Zitan)endow it with the status of“gold among woods”.Wang Shixiang’s inscription binds the furniture to the cultural essence of“the charm of the Ming Dynasty”,transforming it into“heritable cultural heritage”.This paper provides a new perspective for the case study of Ming-style furniture and offers theoretical reference for the contemporary inheritance of traditional craftsmanship. 展开更多

Forecasting ecosystem service values in South China's fragile mountain regions:a multi-scenario analysis with adaptive land use valuation

Numerous economically underdeveloped and ecologically fragile areas in southern China's mountainous regions face increasing challenges in achieving sustainable development. A comparative analysis of ecosystem service responses to land use scenarios, incorporating adaptive valuation coefficients, can reveal actionable pathways to reconcile sustainable development and ecological conservation in mountainous regions. In this study, the ecosystem service value(ESV) dynamics in the Hunan–Jiangxi Border Region(HJBR), which is a representative old revolutionary base with a relatively undeveloped economy, were investigated by integrating historical land use data analysis from 2000 to 2020 and adopting patch-generating land use simulation(PLUS) modelling. Three policy-responsive scenarios, namely, natural growth(NGS), farmland protection(FPS), and ecological protection(EPS), were systematically developed to project ESV variations for 2030 and 2040. Our analysis revealed that from 2000 to 2020, urban sprawl and water body expansion occurred at the expense of forestland, cultivated land, and grassland, yet yield-driven productivity improvements increased the ESV by 227.30%(equivalent to ¥250.0 billion). By 2040, the NGS achieves the greatest ESV increase(¥189.895 billion) while fully accommodating urban land demand;the FPS yields the smallest ESV increase(¥148.169 billion), with the EPS occupying an intermediate position(¥182.207 billion). Climate regulation and hydrological services dominate ecological functions, collectively exceeding 49% across all the scenarios and periods. By 2040, most service functions exhibit growth trends except for a 0.30% water supply decline under the FPS, whereas the EPS demonstrates balanced development through multidimensional service enhancements. These findings underscore the necessity of integrating ecological safeguards into land use planning frameworks to ensure sustainable regional development. 展开更多

Climate models are essential for understanding past,present,and future changes in atmospheric circulation,with circulation modes providing key sources of seasonal predictability and prediction uncertainties for both global and regional climates.This study assesses the performance of models participating in phase 6 of the Coupled Model Intercomparison Project in simulating interannual variability modes of Northern Hemisphere 500-hPa geopotential height during winter and summer,distinguishing predictable(potentially predictable on seasonal or longer timescales)and unpredictable(intraseasonal and essentially unpredictable at long range)components,using reanalysis data and a variance decomposition method.Although most models effectively capture unpredictable modes in reanalysis,their ability to reproduce dominant predictable modes-specifically the Pacific-North American pattern,Arctic Oscillation,and Western Pacific Oscillation in winter,and the East Atlantic and North Atlantic Oscillations in summer-varies notably.An optimal ensemble is identified to distinguish(a)predictable-external modes,dominated by external forcing,and(b)predictable-internal modes,associated with slow internal variability,during the historical period(1950-2014)and the SSP5-8.5 scenario(2036-2100).Under increased radiative forcing,the leading winter/summer predictable-external mode exhibits a more uniform spatial distribution,remarkably larger trend and annual variance,and enhanced height-sea surface temperature(SST)covariance under SSP5-8.5 compared to historical conditions.The dominant winter/summer predictable-internal modes also exhibit increased variance and height-SST covariance under SSP5-8.5,along with localized changes in spatial configuration.Minimal changes are observed in spatial distribution or variance for dominant winter/summer unpredictable modes under SSP5-8.5.This study,from a predictive perspective,deepens our understanding of model uncertainties and projected changes in circulations. 展开更多

Objective: To investigate the expression and diagnostic value of D-dimer, CRP, and IL-6 in children with Mycoplasma pneumonia. Methods: A total of 100 children diagnosed with Mycoplasma pneumonia from the pediatric department of the First Affiliated Hospital of Shaoyang University, admitted between November 2023 and June 2024, were selected for the study. According to the severity of the condition, they were divided into two groups: a mild group (50 cases) and a severe group (50 cases). After treatment, they were further divided into an effective group (63 cases) and a non-effective group (37 cases) based on the treatment outcomes, to compare their diagnostic values. Results: The levels of D-dimer, CRP, IL-6, length of hospital stay, fever resolution time, cough resolution time, and the time for lung rales to disappear were higher in the severe group than in the mild group (P < 0.05). The levels of D-dimer, CRP, and IL-6 in the non-effective group were higher than those in the effective group (P < 0.05). In this study, using pathological results as the “gold standard,” it was found that the positive detection rate for the combined detection of D-dimer, CRP, and IL-6 was higher than the detection rate for each of D-dimer, CRP, and IL-6 alone, suggesting that the combined diagnosis had a higher positive detection rate (P < 0.05). Compared with D-dimer, CRP, and IL-6, the combined sensitivity, specificity, and accuracy were all higher (P < 0.05). Conclusion: D-dimer, CRP, and IL-6 are closely related to Mycoplasma pneumonia in children and can serve as auxiliary diagnostic tools for Mycoplasma pneumonia in children, offering significant value. 展开更多

Background:RNA N6-methyladenosine(m6A)regulators are essential for numerous biological processes and are implicated in various diseases.However,the comprehensive role of m6A regulators in the context of liver transplantation(LT)remains poorly understood.This study aimed to illustrate the relationship between m6A regulators and ischemia-reperfusion injury(IRI)following LT.Methods:Datasets were acquired from the Gene Expression Omnibus database.Differential analysis of the merged data identified the differentially expressed m6A regulators.Random forest(RF)models and nomograms were used to forecast the incidence and assess the IRI risk following LT.m6A regulators were classified into distinct subgroups using cluster analysis.The differential gene expression was validated using immunohistochemistry,immunofluorescence,and Western blotting.Results:We found significant disparities in the gene expression levels of the three m6A regulators between patients with and without LT.Wilms’tumor 1-associating protein(WTAP)expression was upregulated following LT.The RF models exhibited a high degree of accuracy in predicting IRI risk.Immune infiltration analysis showed that WTAP was an immune-associated m6A regulator that was closely associated with T and B cells.WTAP expression in the rat LT model was upregulated after 24 h of reperfusion,which was consistent with the results of the bioinformatics analysis.Conclusions:WTAP has a high diagnostic value for IRI in LT and influences the immune status of patients.Hence,WTAP,as a significant regulator of m6A,is a potential biomarker for the detection and implementation of immunotherapy for IRI following LT. 展开更多

BACKGROUND In recent years,many studies have shown that proteasome 26S subunit non-ATPase 6(PSMD6)plays an important role in the occurrence and development of malignant tumours.Unfortunately,there are no reports on the evaluation of the potential role of PSMD6 in hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC).AIM To comprehensively evaluate the overexpression pattern and clinical significance of PSMD6 in HCC tissues.METHODS This study integrated PSMD6 mRNA expression profiles from 4672 HCC and 3667 non-HCC tissues,along with immunohistochemical scores from 383 HCC and adjacent tissues,to assess PSMD6 overexpression in HCC.Clustered regularly interspaced short palindromic repeats knockout technology evaluated PSMD6’s essential role in HCC cell growth.Functional enrichment analysis explored the molecular mechanism of PSMD6 abnormalities in HCC.Drug sensitivity analysis and molecular docking analysed the effect of abnormal expression of PSMD6 on the drug sensitivity of HCC cells.RESULTS The results of 41 external and two internal datasets showed that PSMD6 mRNA(SMD=0.26,95%CI:0.09-0.42,P<0.05)and protein(SMD=2.85,95%CI:1.19-4.50,P<0.05)were significantly overexpressed in HCC tissues.The integrated analysis results showed that PSMD6 had a significant overexpression pattern in HCC tissues(SMD=0.40,95%CI:0.15-0.66,P<0.05).PSMD6 knockout inhibited HCC cell growth(chronos scores<-1).Functional enrichment implicated ribosome biogenesis and RNA splicing.Significant enrichment of signalling pathways such as RNA degradation,ribosomes,and chemical carcinogenesis—reactive oxygen species.Drug sensitivity analysis and a molecular docking model showed that high expression of PSMD6 was associated with the tolerance of HCC cells to drugs such as ML323,sepantronium bromide,and GDC0810.Overexpressed PSMD6 effectively distinguished HCC tissues(AUC=0.75,95%CI:0.71-0.79).CONCLUSION This study was the first to discover that PSMD6 was overexpressed in HCC tissues.PSMD6 is essential for the growth of HCC cells and may be involved in ribosome biogenesis and RNA splicing. 展开更多

为明确6-苄基腺嘌呤(6-BA)和赤霉素(GA_(3))调控甜瓜叶片衰老的生理机制并为其在延缓叶片衰老中的应用提供理论依据,以早熟厚皮甜瓜雪彤9号为试材,在设施栽培条件下于开花坐果期分别叶面喷施30 mg/kg 6-BA和20 mg/kg GA_(3),以清水为对... 为明确6-苄基腺嘌呤(6-BA)和赤霉素(GA_(3))调控甜瓜叶片衰老的生理机制并为其在延缓叶片衰老中的应用提供理论依据,以早熟厚皮甜瓜雪彤9号为试材,在设施栽培条件下于开花坐果期分别叶面喷施30 mg/kg 6-BA和20 mg/kg GA_(3),以清水为对照,探讨叶片叶绿素相对含量(SPAD值)、乙烯释放量、多胺含量及过氧化氢酶(CAT)活性、丙二醛(MDA)含量、过氧化氢(H_(2)O_(2))含量和产量的变化。结果表明,外源6-BA和GA_(3)处理后7~42 d,使甜瓜叶片SPAD值较对照提高1.78%~8.04%和0.37%~6.08%,乙烯释放量较对照降低5.12%~28.46%和2.34%~18.80%,同时叶片MDA、H_(2)O_(2)、腐胺(Put)含量也均有不同程度的降低,精胺(Spm)、亚精胺(Spd)含量和CAT活性有所升高,产量分别提高6.70%、4.75%;从整体上来看,2种外源激素处理前期效果较为明显,随时间的推移其作用效果逐渐减弱。综上所述,6-BA和GA_(3)可通过调控甜瓜叶片乙烯释放量、多胺含量和膜脂过氧化程度,提高叶片的抗衰老能力,延缓叶片衰老。 展开更多
