The domain flexing function c (H) is used to replace the domain flexing constant c in one-dimension coupled hysteresis model. The fea- sibility and rationality of proposed modification are convinced by comparing the magnetization and magnetostriction curves with experimental data and another typical modification results. Green's functions for Blot's dynamic equation in the frequency domain can be a highly useful tool for the investigation of dynamic responses of a saturated porous medium. Its applications are found in soil dynamics, seismology, earthquake engineering, rock mechanics, geophysics, and acoustics. However, the mathematical work for deriving it can be daunting. Green's functions have been presented utilizing an analogy between the dynamic thermoelasticity and the dynamic poroelasticity in the frequency domain using the u-p formulation. In this work, a special term "decoupling coefficient" for the decomposition of the fast and slow dilatational waves is proposed and expressed to present a new methodology for deriving the poroelastodynamic Green's functions. The correct- ness of the solution is demonstrated by numerically comparing the current solution with Cheng's previous solution. The separation of the two waves in the present methodology allows the more accurate evaluation of Green's functions, particularly the solution of the slow dilatational wave. This can be advantageous for the numerical implementation of the boundary element method (BEM) and other applications. 展开更多

By using density functional theory(DFT)-based first-principles calculations, the structural stability and electronic properties for two kinds of silicene domain boundaries, forming along armchair edge and zigzag edge, have been investigated. The results indicate that a linkage of tetragonal and octagonal rings(4|8) appears along the armchair edge, while a linkage of paired pentagonal and octagonal rings(5|5|8) appears along the zigzag edge. Different from graphene, the buckling properties of silicene lead to two mirror symmetrical edges of silicene line-defect. The formation energies indicate that the 5|5|8 domain boundary is more stable than the 4|8 domain boundary. Similar to graphene, the calculated electronic properties show that the 5|5|8 domain boundaries exhibit metallic properties and the 4|8 domain boundaries are half-metal.Both domain boundaries create the perfect one-dimensional(1D) metallic wires. Due to the metallic properties, these two kinds of nanowires can be used to build the silicene-based devices. 展开更多

A method for reconstructing crustal velocity structure using the optimization of stacking receiver function amplitude in the depth domain,named common conversion amplitude(CCA)inversion,is presented.The conversion amplitude in the depth domain,which represents the impedance change in the medium,is obtained by assigning the receiver function amplitude to the corresponding conversion position where the P-to-S conversion occurred.Utilizing the conversion amplitude variation with depth as an optimization objective,imposing reliable prior constraints on the structural model frame and velocity range,and adopting a stepwise search inversion technique,this method efficiently weakens the tendency of easily falling into the local extremum in conventional receiver function inversion.Synthetic tests show that the CCA inversion can reconstruct complex crustal velocity structures well and is especially suitable for revealing crustal evolution by estimating diverse velocity distributions.Its performance in reconstructing crustal structure is superior to that of the conventional receiver function imaging method. 展开更多

Based on accurate evaluation of the Green function directly, a fast approximation method for the Green function is developed by use of Chebyshev polynomials. Examinations are carried out of the accuracy of the Green function and its derivatives from the scheme. It is shown that when an appropriate number of polynomial terms are used, very accurate approximation can be obtained. 展开更多

Iterative and adjusting method for computing stream function and velocity potential in limited domains and convergence analysis

The stream function and the velocity potential can be easily computed by solving the Poisson equations in a unique way for the global domain. Because of the var- ious assumptions for handling the boundary conditions, the solution is not unique when a limited domain is concerned. Therefore, it is very important to reduce or eliminate the effects caused by the uncertain boundary condition. In this paper, an iterative and ad- justing method based on the Endlich iteration method is presented to compute the stream function and the velocity potential in limited domains. This method does not need an explicitly specifying boundary condition when used to obtain the effective solution, and it is proved to be successful in decomposing and reconstructing the horizontal wind field with very small errors. The convergence of the method depends on the relative value for the distances of grids in two different directions and the value of the adjusting factor. It is shown that applying the method in Arakawa grids and irregular domains can obtain the accurate vorticity and divergence and accurately decompose and reconstruct the original wind field. Hence, the iterative and adjusting method is accurate and reliable. 展开更多

An accurate evaluation of strongly singular domain integral appearing in the stress representation formula is a crucial problem in the stress analysis of functionally graded materials using boundary element method.To solve this problem,a singularity separation technique is presented in the paper to split the singular integral into regular and singular parts by subtracting and adding a singular term.The singular domain integral is transformed into a boundary integral using the radial integration method.Analytical expressions of the radial integrals are obtained for two commonly used shear moduli varying with spatial coordinates.The regular domain integral,after expressing the displacements in terms of the radial basis functions,is also transformed to the boundary using the radial integration method.Finally,a boundary element method without internal cells is established for computing the stresses at internal nodes of the functionally graded materials with varying shear modulus. 展开更多

Domain analysis is essential to core assets development in software product line engineering. Most existing approaches, however, depend on domain experts’ experience to analyze the commonality and variability of systems in a domain, which remains a manual and intensive process. This paper addresses the issue by proposing a model-driven approach to automating the domain requirements derivation process. The paper focuses on the match between the use cases of existing individual products and the domain functional requirements of a product line. By introducing a set of linguistic description dimensions to differentiate the sub-variations in a use case, the use case template is extended to model variability. To this end, a transformation process is formulated to sustain and deduce the information in use cases, and to match it to domain functional requirements. This paper also presents a prototype which implements the derivation as a model transformation described in a graphical model transformation language MOLA. This approach complements existing domain analysis techniques with less manual operation cost and more efficiency by automating the domain functional requirements development. 展开更多

Fifty-six patients with chest pain underwent selective coronaryangiography,radionuclide ventriculography (RNV) and frequency domaincardiography (FCG) to evaluate left ventricular function in coronary artery dis-ease (CAD).The sensitivity,specificity and accuracy of FCG were 87.5%,77.8%and 82.9%,respectively,which were slightly less than those of RNV (92.5%,88.9% and 90.8%,respectively).The changes of FCG scores were negatively corre-lated with changes of LVEF (r=-0.586,P【0.01),and TS (r=-0.679,P【0.01).These results indicate that FCG may be useful for the evaluation of leftventricular function in patients with CAD. 展开更多
