Urinalysis is one of the most widely developed clinical tests, which plays a key role in the treatment of various diseases of the urinary system, kidney system and system. Total urine test has the advantages of being easy to use and quick to detect. However, in actual clinical trials, a number of factors, including the timing and quality of urine sample collection, the performance of testing equipment and operational standards, can affect the accuracy of the final test results. Therefore, understanding and mastering the influencing factors of clinical routine urine testing, adopting targeted response strategies in a timely manner, and reducing the influence of urine routine testing by external factors are the key to ensuring the accuracy of urine routine test results, and can also provide scientific and reliable basis for the diagnosis of clinical diseases. This paper further analyzes what are the common influencing factors in clinical urine routine testing, discusses related coping strategies, and how to better grasp and improve the quality of its examination in future work to minimize the impact. 展开更多

By modifying the salicylic-acid moiety with electron-withdrawing or –donating groups, three new terbium complexes(LⅠ·Tb, LⅡ·Tb, L·(Ⅲ)Tb) based on tripodal carboxylate ligands were synthesized. Due to different pull-push electronic effects of ligands, the fluorescence intensities of these terbium complexes significantly varied, that is: LⅡ·Tb 〉L(Ⅲ)·Tb〉 LⅠ·Tb. Meanwhile, the characteristic peaks at 492 nm(5D4→7F6) and 547 nm(5 D4→7F5) showed "Off–On–Off" fluorescence response to various p H conditions, which indicated that all of them can be used as the highly sensitive pH fluorescent probes. Notably, using LⅡ·Tb with the best fluorescence performance as a probe, some patients' urine samples can be easily monitored through the response triggered by pH value. Therefore, LⅡ·Tb has the potential to auxiliarily diagnose some diseases in clinical practice through p H detection of routine urine test. 展开更多

Objective:To investigate whether the specific traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)constitution of individuals can be defined by certain biological indexes instead of answering the questionnaire, and to explore the possibility of discriminating nine TCM constitutions from each other simultaneously using biological indexes. Methods:Blood and urine samples from 152 individuals with nine TCM constitutions were collected, and the related biological indexes were analyzed combining ANOVA,multiple comparison, discriminant analysis, and support vector machine. Results:We found that 4 out of 24 blood routine indexes,7 out of 10 urine routine indexes, and 12 out of 32 biochemical indexes showed differences among the constitutions.High-sensitivity C-reactive protein, apolipoprotein A1,and alkaline phosphatase were potential candidates for screening out individuals with unbalanced constitutions.Combining uric acid,high-density lipoprotein, apolipoprotein A1,creatine kinase, total protein, aspartate aminotransferase, total bile acid, dehydrogenase, sodium, and calcium levels had the potential to directly distinguish the nine TCM constitutions from each other.Among these indexes, the highest ratio of discriminant analysis between two constitutions was 95.5%,while the lowest was 66.1%.Conclusion:Our results suggest that some biochemical and urine indexes are related to various TCM constitutions, and thus they have the potential to be used for TCM constitution classification. 展开更多

Objective: to explore the application value of routine urine test in the diagnosis of urinary tract infection for patients with urinary tract infection. Methods: 70 patients with suspected urinary tract infection in our hospital from March 2019 to April 2020 were selected as the research objects. The urine sediment method and urine dry chemistry method were used for examination. The pathological diagnosis results were taken as the gold standard to compare the accuracy of the two methods. Results: with the pathological diagnosis results as gold, whether using urine sediment method or urine dry chemistry method to compare the white blood cell count and red blood cell in urine, it was found that when P < 0.05, there was no statistical significance. The urine sediment method and the urine dry chemical method used in the examination of the patient were tested, and the indicators in the diagnosis of urinary tract infection, such as sensitivity, specificity and accuracy were compared and analyzed, P<0.05, there was no statistical significance. Comparing the two methods, both of them can effectively detect urinary tract infection and provide reference data for subsequent treatment. Conclusion: the urine routine test of patients with urinary tract infection can significantly improve the accuracy rate of patients. The urine dry chemistry method combined with urine sediment method is less different from the gold standard results, which can significantly improve the diagnostic accuracy of patients, which is worthy of extensive promotion. 展开更多

Objective: to study the value of routine urine test in the diagnosis of urinary tract infection. Methods: 70 patients with urinary tract infection in our hospital from January 2020 to December 2020 were selected as experimental group. The same number of healthy persons in the same period was used as the reference group;routine urine test was performed in both groups, and the results of the two groups were compared. Results: the white blood cell count of experimental group was higher than that of reference group, P < 0.05. It was observed that the positive rate of bacterial culture in the experimental group was higher than that in the reference group, P < 0.05. Conclusion: the application of routine urine test in the diagnosis of urinary tract infection can confirm the level of white blood cell count and improve the positive rate of bacterial culture. 展开更多

Objective: to explore the application of dry chemistry method and urine sediment method in routine urine test. Methods: from May 2020 to October 2021, a total of 150 patients underwent routine urine test in our hospital. All patients underwent routine urine test by dry chemical method, urinary sediment method and combined method, and the test results were analyzed and compared. Results: there was no difference between dry chemical method and urine sediment method in the indexes of red blood cell, white blood cell and transparent cast. In terms of the positive detection rate of quantitative red blood cells, there was no difference between dry chemical method and urine sediment method, 31.33% for the combined test method, which was significantly higher than the detection rate of the two methods, and the difference was statistically significant (p < 0.01). In terms of quantitative detection rate of leukocytes, urinary sediment method was higher than dry chemical method [30.67%vs.2.67%], p < 0.05;The combined test method was 42.67%, which was higher than the previous two methods and the difference was statistically significant (P < 0.01). As for the accuracy rate of urinary tract infection, the combined test method is 96.67%, the chemical method is 78%, and the urinary sediment method is 83.33%, the former is higher than the latter, the difference is statistically significant (p < 0.01);In terms of sensitivity, the combined test method was 96.88%, which was higher than that of dry chemical method (82.03%) and urinary sediment method (87.5%) (P < 0.01). In terms of specificity, the combined test method was 95.45%, the dry chemical method was 54.55%, and the urine sediment method was 59.09%, the former was higher than the latter, the difference was statistically significant (p < 0.01);In terms of bacterial culture results, the comparison of bacterial culture results of dry chemical method and urine sediment method shows that there is no difference in positive detection between the two detection methods, P > 0.05. The positive rate of the combined test method was significantly higher than that of the other two methods (p < 0.05). Conclusion: in routine urine test, dry chemistry method or urine sediment method alone cannot meet the test requirements, and misdiagnosis is easy to occur in the test results. Therefore, two methods of combined test are needed, which can further improve the accuracy and sensitivity of the test results. Therefore, the dry chemical method combined with urinary sediment method is effective and worthy of wide application in clinical testing. 展开更多

To evaluate the subchronic and chronic toxicity of Fuyanxiao capsules,Sprague-Dawley(SD)rats were used in toxicity studies. In the subchronic toxicity study,50 female rats were randomly divided into a high-dose group(5.4g/kg/day)and a control group, with 15 rats in each, and medium(2.7g/kg/day)and low(1.35g/kg/day)dose groups, with 10 rats in each. The test substance was administered orally(mixed with feed, twice daily)for 90 consecutive days.In the chronic toxicity study,40 female rats were randomly divided into high, medium, and low dose groups and a control group, with 10 rats in each. The test substance was administered orally in the same manner for 180 consecutive days.Clinical signs, body weight, and food consumption were observed and recorded daily. At the end of the terminal phase(the first 10 rats from each group,1 day after the last dose)and the recovery phase(the last 5 rats from the control group and the high-dose group, observed for an additional 28 days after the last dose),blood and urine samples,as well as organs, were collected.Organ coefficients were calculated, and various hematological and urinary indicators were detected, followed by pathological analysis. The results showed that there were no significant differences in body weight, food consumption,or organ coefficients between any of the dose groups and the control group in both subchronic and chronic toxicity studies(P>0.05).Histopathological examination revealed no lesions, suggesting no tissue or organ damage in any of the dose groups. The rats exhibited good mental status, and hematological and urinary physiological indicators were within normal ranges, indicating stable liver and kidney function, hematopoietic system of the bone marrow, and internal environment in all dose groups. Therefore,Fuyanxiao capsule has no obvious subchronic or chronic toxicity in SD rats, and it is safe and reliable to use at reasonable dosage in clinical practice. 展开更多
