The diffusion trajectory of a Brownian particle passing over the saddle point of a two-dimensional quadratic potential energy surface is tracked in detail according to the deep learning strategies.Generative adversarial networks(GANs)emanating in the category of machine learning(ML)frameworks are used to generate and assess the rationality of the data. While their optimization is based on the long short-term memory(LSTM)strategies. In addition to drawing a heat map,the optimal path of two-dimensional(2D)diffusion is simultaneously demonstrated in a stereoscopic space. The results of our simulation are completely consistent with the previous theoretical predictions. 展开更多

This article investigates the time-varying output group formation tracking control(GFTC)problem for heterogeneous multi-agent systems(HMASs)under switching topologies. The objective is to design a distributed control strategy that enables the outputs of the followers to form the desired sub-formations and track the outputs of the leader in each subgroup.Firstly, novel distributed observers are developed to estimate the states of the leaders under switching topologies. Then,GFTC protocols are designed based on the proposed observers. It is shown that with the distributed protocol, the GFTC problem for HMASs under switching topologies is solved if the average dwell time associated with the switching topologies is larger than a fixed threshold. Finally,an example is provided to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed control strategy. 展开更多

This paper investigates the sliding-mode-based fixed-time distributed average tracking (DAT) problem for multiple Euler-Lagrange systems in the presence of external distur-bances. The primary objective is to devise controllers for each agent, enabling them to precisely track the average of multiple time-varying reference signals. By averaging these signals, we can mitigate the influence of errors and uncertainties arising dur-ing measurements, thereby enhancing the robustness and stabi-lity of the system. A distributed fixed-time average estimator is proposed to estimate the average value of global reference sig-nals utilizing local information and communication with neigh-bors. Subsequently, a fixed-time sliding mode controller is intro-duced incorporating a state-dependent sliding mode function coupled with a variable exponent coefficient to achieve dis-tributed average tracking of reference signals, and rigorous ana-lytical methods are employed to substantiate the fixed-time sta-bility. Finally, numerical simulation results are provided to vali-date the effectiveness of the proposed methodology, offering insights into its practical application and robust performance. 展开更多

In this paper, a fault-tolerant-based online critic learning algorithm is developed to solve the optimal tracking control issue for nonaffine nonlinear systems with actuator faults.First, a novel augmented plant is constructed by fusing the system state and the reference trajectory, which aims to transform the optimal fault-tolerant tracking control design with actuator faults into the optimal regulation problem of the conventional nonlinear error system. Subsequently, in order to ensure the normal execution of the online learning algorithm, a stability criterion condition is created to obtain an initial admissible tracking policy. Then, the constructed model neural network(NN) is pretrained to recognize the system dynamics and calculate trajectory control. The critic and action NNs are constructed to output the approximate cost function and approximate tracking control, respectively. The Hamilton-Jacobi-Bellman equation of the error system is solved online through the action-critic framework. In theoretical analysis, it is proved that all concerned signals are uniformly ultimately bounded according to the Lyapunov principle. The tracking control law can approach the optimal tracking control within a finite approximation error. Finally, two experimental examples are conducted to indicate the effectiveness and superiority of the developed fault-tolerant tracking control scheme. 展开更多

The acquisition, tracking, and pointing(ATP)system is widely used in target tracking,counter-UAV operations, and other related fields. As UAV technology develops, there is a growing demand to enhance the tracking capabilities of ATP systems. However,in practical applications,ATP systems face various design constraints and functional limitations, making it infeasible to indefinitely improve hardware performance to meet tracking requirements. As a result, tracking algorithms are required to execute increasingly complex tasks. This study introduces a multi-rate feedforward predictive controller to address issues such as low image feedback frequency and significant delays in ATP systems, which lead to tracking jitter, poor tracking performance, low precision, and target loss.At the same time, the pro-posed approach aims to improve the tracking capabilities of ATP systems for high-speed and highly maneuverable targets under conditions of low sampling feedback rates and high feedback delays. The method suggested is also characterized by its low order, fast response, and robustness to model parameter variations. In this study,an actual ATP system is built for target tracking test, and the proposed algorithm is fully validated in terms of simulation and actual system application verification. Results from both simulations and experiments demonstrate that the method effectively compensates for delays and low sampling rates. For targets with relative angular velocities ranging from 0 to 90°/s and angular accelerations between 0 and 470°/s^(2),the system improved tracking accuracy by 70.0%-89.9%at a sampling frequency of 50 Hz and a delay of 30 m s.Moreover, the compensation algorithm demonstrated consistent performance across actuators with varying characteristics, further confirming its robustness to model insensitivity. In summary, the proposed algorithm considerably enhances the tracking accuracy and capability of ATP systems for high-speed and highly maneuverable targets, reducing the probability of target loss from high speed. This approach offers a practical solution for future multi-target tracking across diverse operational scenarios. 展开更多

Background Identifying the transmural extent of myocardial necrosis and the degree of myocardial viability in acute myocardial infarction (AMI) is important clinically. The aim of this study was to assess myocardial viability using two-dimensional speckle tracking imaging (2D-STI) in patients with AMI. Methods 2D-STI was performed at initial presentation, three days, and six months after primary percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) in 30 patients with AMI, who had a left anterior descending coronary artery (LAD) culprit lesion. In addition, 20 patients who had minimal stenotic lesions (〈 30% stenosis) on coronary angiography were also included in the control group. At six months dobutamine echocardiography was performed for viability assessment in seven segments of the LAD territory. According to the recovery of wall motion abnormality, segments were classified as viable or non-viable. Results A total of 131 segments were viable, and 44 were nonviable. Multivariate analysis revealed significant differences between the viable and nonviable segments in the peak systolic strain, the peak systolic strain rate at initial presentation, and peak systolic strain rate three days after primary PCI. Among these, the initial peak systolic strain rate had the highest predictive value for myocardial viability (hazard ratio: 31.22, P 〈 0.01). Conclusions 2D-STI is feasible for assessing myocardial viability, and the peak systolic strain rate might be the most reliable predictor of myocardial viability in patients with AMI. 展开更多

For flight control systems with time-varying delay, an H∞ output tracking controller is proposed. The controller is designed for the discrete-time state-space model of general aircraft to reduce the effects of uncertainties of the mathematical model, external disturbances, and bounded time-varying delay. It is assumed that the feedback-control loop is closed by the communication network, and the network-based control architecture induces time-delays in the feedback information. Suppose that the time delay has both an upper bound and a lower bound. By using the Lyapu- nov-Krasovskii function and the linear matrix inequality (LMI), the delay-dependent stability criterion is derived for the time-delay system. Based on the criterion, a state-feedback H∞ output tracking controller for systems with norm-bounded uncertainties and time-varying delay is presented. The control scheme is applied to the high incidence research model (HIRM), which shows the effectiveness of the proposed approach. 展开更多

This paper considers the problems of target tracking and obstacle avoidance for multi-agent systems. To solve the problem that multiple agents cannot effectively track the target while avoiding obstacle in dynamic environment, a novel control algorithm based on potential function and behavior rules is proposed. Meanwhile, the interactions among agents are also considered. According to the state whether an agent is within the area of its neighbors' influence, two kinds of potential functions are presented. Meanwhile, the distributed control input of each agent is determined by relative velocities as well as relative positions among agents, target and obstacle. The maximum linear speed of the agents is also discussed. Finally, simulation studies are given to demonstrate the performance of the proposed algorithm. 展开更多

A new robust proportional-integral-derivative (PID) tracking control framework is considered for stochastic systems with non-Gaussian variable based on B-spline neural network approximation and T-S fuzzy model identification. The tracked object is the statistical information of a given target probability density function (PDF), rather than a deterministic signal. Following B-spline approximation to the integrated performance function, the concerned problem is transferred into the tracking of given weights. Different from the previous related works, the time delay T-S fuzzy models with the exogenous disturbances are applied to identify the nonlinear weighting dynamics. Meanwhile, the generalized PID controller structure and the improved convex linear matrix inequalities (LMI) algorithms are proposed to fulfil the tracking problem. Furthermore, in order to enhance the robust performance, the peak-to-peak measure index is applied to optimize the tracking performance. Simulations are given to demonstrate the efficiency of the proposed approach. 展开更多

Two design approaches of state feedback and output feedback tracking controllers are proposed for a class of strict feedback nonlinear time-delay systems by using backstepping technique. When the states of system cannot be observed, the time-delay state observer is designed to estimate the system states. Domination method is used to deal with nonlinear time-delay function under the assumption that the nonlinear time-delay functions of systems satisfy Lipschitz condition. The global asymptotical tracking of the reference signal is achieved and the bound of all signals of the resultant closed-loop system is also guaranteed. By constructing a Lyapunov-Krasoviskii functional, the stability of the closed-loop system is proved. The feasibility of the proposed approach is illustrated by a simulation example. 展开更多

In this study, the bipartite time-varying output formation tracking problem for heterogeneous multi-agent systems(MASs)with multiple leaders and switching commu-nication networks is considered.Note that the switching communication networks may be connected or disconnected. To address this problem,a novel reduced-dimensional observer-based fully distributed asynchronous dynamic edge-event-triggered output feedback control protocol is developed, and the Zeno behavior is ruled out.The theoretical analysis gives the admissible switching frequency and switching width under the proposed control protocol.Different from the existing works, the control protocol reduces the dimension of information to be transmitted between neighboring agents. Moreover, since an additional positive internal dynamic variable is introduced into the triggering functions, the control protocol can guarantee a larger inter-event time interval compared with previous results. Finally,a simulation example is given to verify the effectiveness and performance of the theoretical result. 展开更多

The problem of prescribed performance tracking control for unknown time-delay nonlinear systems subject to output constraints is dealt with in this paper. In contrast with related works, only the most fundamental requirements, i.e., boundedness and the local Lipschitz condition, are assumed for the allowable time delays. Moreover, we focus on the case where the reference is unknown beforehand, which renders the standard prescribed performance control designs under output constraints infeasible. To conquer these challenges, a novel robust prescribed performance control approach is put forward in this paper.Herein, a reverse tuning function is skillfully constructed and automatically generates a performance envelop for the tracking error. In addition, a unified performance analysis framework based on proof by contradiction and the barrier function is established to reveal the inherent robustness of the control system against the time delays. It turns out that the system output tracks the reference with a preassigned settling time and good accuracy, without constraint violations. A comparative simulation on a two-stage chemical reactor is carried out to illustrate the above theoretical findings. 展开更多
