High-dimensional data are reduced via proper orthogonal decomposition(POD),and low-dimensional data are used to train an autoencoder(AE). By integrating the POD operator with the decoder, a nonlinear solution form is established and incorporated into a new maximum-a-posteriori(MAP)-based objective for online reconstruction.The numerical results on the two-dimensional(2D) Bhatnagar-Gross-Krook-Boltzmann(BGK-Boltzmann) equation, wave equation, shallow-water equation, and satellite data show that Gappy POD-AE achieves higher accuracy than gappy proper orthogonal decomposition(Gappy POD), especially for the data with slowly decaying singular values,and is more efficient in training than gappy autoencoder(Gappy AE). The MAP-based formulation and new gappy procedure further enhance the reconstruction accuracy.展开更多

BACKGROUND Laparoscopic gastrectomy for esophagogastric junction(EGJ)carcinoma enables the removal of the carcinoma at the junction between the stomach and esophagus while preserving the gastric function,thereby provi...BACKGROUND Laparoscopic gastrectomy for esophagogastric junction(EGJ)carcinoma enables the removal of the carcinoma at the junction between the stomach and esophagus while preserving the gastric function,thereby providing patients with better treatment outcomes and quality of life.Nonetheless,this surgical technique also presents some challenges and limitations.Therefore,three-dimensional reconstruction visualization technology(3D RVT)has been introduced into the procedure,providing doctors with more comprehensive and intuitive anatomical information that helps with surgical planning,navigation,and outcome evaluation.AIM To discuss the application and advantages of 3D RVT in precise laparoscopic resection of EGJ carcinomas.METHODS Data were obtained from the electronic or paper-based medical records at The First Affiliated Hospital of Hebei North University from January 2020 to June 2022.A total of 120 patients diagnosed with EGJ carcinoma were included in the study.Of these,68 underwent laparoscopic resection after computed tomography(CT)-enhanced scanning and were categorized into the 2D group,whereas 52 underwent laparoscopic resection after CT-enhanced scanning and 3D RVT and were categorized into the 3D group.This study had two outcome measures:the deviation between tumor-related factors(such as maximum tumor diameter and infiltration length)in 3D RVT and clinical reality,and surgical outcome indicators(such as operative time,intraoperative blood loss,number of lymph node dissections,R0 resection rate,postoperative hospital stay,postoperative gas discharge time,drainage tube removal time,and related complications)between the 2D and 3D groups.RESULTS Among patients included in the 3D group,27 had a maximum tumor diameter of less than 3 cm,whereas 25 had a diameter of 3 cm or more.In actual surgical observations,24 had a diameter of less than 3 cm,whereas 28 had a diameter of 3 cm or more.The findings were consistent between the two methods(χ^(2)=0.346,P=0.556),with a kappa consistency coefficient of 0.808.With respect to infiltration length,in the 3D group,23 patients had a length of less than 5 cm,whereas 29 had a length of 5 cm or more.In actual surgical observations,20 cases had a length of less than 5 cm,whereas 32 had a length of 5 cm or more.The findings were consistent between the two methods(χ^(2)=0.357,P=0.550),with a kappa consistency coefficient of 0.486.Pearson correlation analysis showed that the maximum tumor diameter and infiltration length measured using 3D RVT were positively correlated with clinical observations during surgery(r=0.814 and 0.490,both P<0.05).The 3D group had a shorter operative time(157.02±8.38 vs 183.16±23.87),less intraoperative blood loss(83.65±14.22 vs 110.94±22.05),and higher number of lymph node dissections(28.98±2.82 vs 23.56±2.77)and R0 resection rate(80.77%vs 61.64%)than the 2D group.Furthermore,the 3D group had shorter hospital stay[8(8,9)vs 13(14,16)],time to gas passage[3(3,4)vs 4(5,5)],and drainage tube removal time[4(4,5)vs 6(6,7)]than the 2D group.The complication rate was lower in the 3D group(11.54%)than in the 2D group(26.47%)(χ^(2)=4.106,P<0.05).CONCLUSION Using 3D RVT,doctors can gain a more comprehensive and intuitive understanding of the anatomy and related lesions of EGJ carcinomas,thus enabling more accurate surgical planning.展开更多

Secondly, a single loop correction ex...This paper proposes a new Zernike modal gray map reconstruction algorithm used in the nematic liquid crystal adaptive optics system. Firstly, the new modal algorithm is described. Secondly, a single loop correction experiment was conducted, and it showed that the modal method has a higher precision in gray map reconstruction than the widely used slope method. Finally, the contrast close-loop correction experiment was conducted to correct static aberration in the laboratory. The experimental results showed that the average peak to valley (PV) and root mean square (RMS) of the wavefront corrected by mode method were reduced from 2.501A (λ= 633 nm) and 0.610A to 0.0334λ and 0.00845A, respectively. The corrected PV and RMS were much smaller than those of 0.173A and 0.048A by slope method. The Strehl ratio and modulation transfer function of the system corrected by mode method were much closer to diffraction limit than with slope method. These results indicate that the mode method can take good advantage of the large number of pixels of the liquid crystal corrector to realize high correction precision.展开更多
We study a novel class of two-dimensional maps with infinitely many coexisting attractors.Firstly,the mathematical model of these maps is formulated by introducing a sinusoidal function.The existence and the stability...We study a novel class of two-dimensional maps with infinitely many coexisting attractors.Firstly,the mathematical model of these maps is formulated by introducing a sinusoidal function.The existence and the stability of the fixed points in the model are studied indicating that they are infinitely many and all unstable.In particular,a computer searching program is employed to explore the chaotic attractors in these maps,and a simple map is exemplified to show their complex dynamics.Interestingly,this map contains infinitely many coexisting attractors which has been rarely reported in the literature.Further studies on these coexisting attractors are carried out by investigating their time histories,phase trajectories,basins of attraction,Lyapunov exponents spectrum,and Lyapunov(Kaplan–Yorke)dimension.Bifurcation analysis reveals that the map has periodic and chaotic solutions,and more importantly,exhibits extreme multi-stability.展开更多

Our research innovative...In this advanced exploration, we focus on multiple parameters estimation in bistatic Multiple-Input Multiple-Output(MIMO) radar systems, a crucial technique for target localization and imaging. Our research innovatively addresses the joint estimation of the Direction of Departure(DOD), Direction of Arrival(DOA), and Doppler frequency for incoherent targets. We propose a novel approach that significantly reduces computational complexity by utilizing the TemporalSpatial Nested Sampling Model(TSNSM). Our methodology begins with a multi-linear mapping mechanism to efficiently eliminate unnecessary virtual Degrees of Freedom(DOFs) and reorganize the remaining ones. We then employ the Toeplitz matrix triple iteration reconstruction method, surpassing the traditional Temporal-Spatial Smoothing Window(TSSW) approach, to mitigate the single snapshot effect and reduce computational demands. We further refine the highdimensional ESPRIT algorithm for joint estimation of DOD, DOA, and Doppler frequency, eliminating the need for additional parameter pairing. Moreover, we meticulously derive the Cramér-Rao Bound(CRB) for the TSNSM. This signal model allows for a second expansion of DOFs in time and space domains, achieving high precision in target angle and Doppler frequency estimation with low computational complexity. Our adaptable algorithm is validated through simulations and is suitable for sparse array MIMO radars with various structures, ensuring higher precision in parameter estimation with less complexity burden.展开更多

3D reconstruction plays an increasingly important role in modern photogrammetric systems.Conventional satellite or aerial-based remote sensing(RS)platforms can provide the necessary data sources for the 3D reconstruct...3D reconstruction plays an increasingly important role in modern photogrammetric systems.Conventional satellite or aerial-based remote sensing(RS)platforms can provide the necessary data sources for the 3D reconstruction of large-scale landforms and cities.Even with low-altitude Unmanned Aerial Vehicles(UAVs),3D reconstruction in complicated situations,such as urban canyons and indoor scenes,is challenging due to frequent tracking failures between camera frames and high data collection costs.Recently,spherical images have been extensively used due to the capability of recording surrounding environments from one image.In contrast to perspective images with limited Field of View(FOV),spherical images can cover the whole scene with full horizontal and vertical FOV and facilitate camera tracking and data acquisition in these complex scenes.With the rapid evolution and extensive use of professional and consumer-grade spherical cameras,spherical images show great potential for the 3D modeling of urban and indoor scenes.Classical 3D reconstruction pipelines,however,cannot be directly used for spherical images.Besides,there exist few software packages that are designed for the 3D reconstruction from spherical images.As a result,this research provides a thorough survey of the state-of-the-art for 3D reconstruction from spherical images in terms of data acquisition,feature detection and matching,image orientation,and dense matching as well as presenting promising applications and discussing potential prospects.We anticipate that this study offers insightful clues to direct future research.展开更多

The memristive maps do not have any fixed points, so they belong to the category of nonlinear maps with hidden attractors. The rich dynamical behaviors of these maps are studied and investigated using different numerical tools, including phase portrait, basins of attraction,bifurcation diagram, and Lyapunov exponents. The two-parameter bifurcation analysis of the memristive map is carried out to reveal the bifurcation mechanism of its dynamical behaviors. Based on our extensive simulation studies, the proposed memristive maps can produce hidden periodic, chaotic, and hyper-chaotic attractors, exhibiting extremely hidden multistability, namely the coexistence of infinite hidden attractors, which was rarely observed in memristive maps. Potentially,this work can be used for some real applications in secure communication, such as data and image encryptions.展开更多

The analysis of existence and stability of the fixed points in these maps suggests that there are four types of fixed points, i.e., no fixed point, one single fixed point, two fixed points and a line of fixed points. To investigate the complex dynamics of these rational maps with different types of fixed points, numerical analysis tools, such as time histories, phase portraits, basins of attraction, Lyapunov exponent spectrum, Lyapunov(Kaplan–Yorke) dimension and bifurcation diagrams, are employed. Our extensive numerical simulations identify both self-excited and hidden attractors, which were rarely reported in the literature. In order to ensure the accuracy and completeness of 3D scene model reconstructed from a freely moving camera, this paper proposes new 3D reconstruction methods, as follows: 1) Depth images are processed with a depth adaptive bilateral filter to effectively improve the image quality; 2) A local-to-global registration with the content-based segmentation is performed, which is more reliable and robust to reduce the visual odometry drifts and registration errors; 3) An adaptive weighted volumetric method is used to fuse the registered data into a global model with sufficient geometrical details. Experimental results demonstrate that our approach increases the robustness and accuracy of the geometric models which were reconstructed from a consumer-grade depth camera.展开更多

Conventional total variation(TV)-based algorithms apply the L1 norm-based penalties, which are not as efficient as Lp(0〈p〈1) quasi-norm-based penalties. TV with a p-th power-based norm can serve as a feasible alternative of the conventional TV, which is referred to as total p-variation(TpV). This paper proposes a TpV-based reconstruction model and develops an efficient algorithm. The total p-variation and Kullback-Leibler(KL) data divergence, which has better noise suppression capability compared with the often-used quadratic term, are combined to build the reconstruction model. The proposed algorithm is derived by the alternating direction method(ADM) which offers a stable, efficient, and easily coded implementation. We apply the proposed method in the reconstructions from very few views of projections(7 views evenly acquired within 180°). The images reconstructed by the new method show clearer edges and higher numerical accuracy than the conventional TV method. Both the simulations and real CT data experiments indicate that the proposed method may be promising for practical applications.展开更多

The method is based on BPNN. First, three groups learning samples with different resolutions are obtained according to image observation model, and then vector mappings are respectively used to those three group learning samples to speed up the convergence of BPNN, at last, three times consecutive training are carried on the BPNN. Training samples used in each step are of higher resolution than those used in the previous steps, so the increasing weights store a great amount of information for SRR, and network performance and generalization ability are improved greatly. Simulation and generalization tests are carried on the well-trained three-step-training NN respectively, and the reconstruction results with higher resolution images verify the effectiveness and validity of this method.展开更多

It can be applied to a range of flow measurement and visualization data, and in this work we sho...Compressive sensing is a powerful method for reconstruction of sparsely-sampled data, based on statistical optimization. It can be applied to a range of flow measurement and visualization data, and in this work we show the usage in groundwater mapping. Due to scarcity of water in many regions of the world, including southwestern United States, monitoring and management of groundwater is of utmost importance. A complete mapping of groundwater is difficult since the monitored sites are far from one another, and thus the data sets are considered extremely “sparse”. To overcome this difficulty in complete mapping of groundwater, compressive sensing is an ideal tool, as it bypasses the classical Nyquist criterion. We show that compressive sensing can effectively be used for reconstructions of groundwater level maps, by validating against data. This approach can have an impact on geographical sensing and information, as effective monitoring and management are enabled without constructing numerous or expensive measurement sites for groundwater.展开更多

文摘BACKGROUND Laparoscopic gastrectomy for esophagogastric junction(EGJ)carcinoma enables the removal of the carcinoma at the junction between the stomach and esophagus while preserving the gastric function,thereby providing patients with better treatment outcomes and quality of life.Nonetheless,this surgical technique also presents some challenges and limitations.Therefore,three-dimensional reconstruction visualization technology(3D RVT)has been introduced into the procedure,providing doctors with more comprehensive and intuitive anatomical information that helps with surgical planning,navigation,and outcome evaluation.AIM To discuss the application and advantages of 3D RVT in precise laparoscopic resection of EGJ carcinomas.METHODS Data were obtained from the electronic or paper-based medical records at The First Affiliated Hospital of Hebei North University from January 2020 to June 2022.A total of 120 patients diagnosed with EGJ carcinoma were included in the study.Of these,68 underwent laparoscopic resection after computed tomography(CT)-enhanced scanning and were categorized into the 2D group,whereas 52 underwent laparoscopic resection after CT-enhanced scanning and 3D RVT and were categorized into the 3D group.This study had two outcome measures:the deviation between tumor-related factors(such as maximum tumor diameter and infiltration length)in 3D RVT and clinical reality,and surgical outcome indicators(such as operative time,intraoperative blood loss,number of lymph node dissections,R0 resection rate,postoperative hospital stay,postoperative gas discharge time,drainage tube removal time,and related complications)between the 2D and 3D groups.RESULTS Among patients included in the 3D group,27 had a maximum tumor diameter of less than 3 cm,whereas 25 had a diameter of 3 cm or more.In actual surgical observations,24 had a diameter of less than 3 cm,whereas 28 had a diameter of 3 cm or more.The findings were consistent between the two methods(χ^(2)=0.346,P=0.556),with a kappa consistency coefficient of 0.808.With respect to infiltration length,in the 3D group,23 patients had a length of less than 5 cm,whereas 29 had a length of 5 cm or more.In actual surgical observations,20 cases had a length of less than 5 cm,whereas 32 had a length of 5 cm or more.The findings were consistent between the two methods(χ^(2)=0.357,P=0.550),with a kappa consistency coefficient of 0.486.Pearson correlation analysis showed that the maximum tumor diameter and infiltration length measured using 3D RVT were positively correlated with clinical observations during surgery(r=0.814 and 0.490,both P<0.05).The 3D group had a shorter operative time(157.02±8.38 vs 183.16±23.87),less intraoperative blood loss(83.65±14.22 vs 110.94±22.05),and higher number of lymph node dissections(28.98±2.82 vs 23.56±2.77)and R0 resection rate(80.77%vs 61.64%)than the 2D group.Furthermore,the 3D group had shorter hospital stay[8(8,9)vs 13(14,16)],time to gas passage[3(3,4)vs 4(5,5)],and drainage tube removal time[4(4,5)vs 6(6,7)]than the 2D group.The complication rate was lower in the 3D group(11.54%)than in the 2D group(26.47%)(χ^(2)=4.106,P<0.05).CONCLUSION Using 3D RVT,doctors can gain a more comprehensive and intuitive understanding of the anatomy and related lesions of EGJ carcinomas,thus enabling more accurate surgical planning.

文摘This paper proposes a new Zernike modal gray map reconstruction algorithm used in the nematic liquid crystal adaptive optics system. Firstly, the new modal algorithm is described. Secondly, a single loop correction experiment was conducted, and it showed that the modal method has a higher precision in gray map reconstruction than the widely used slope method. Finally, the contrast close-loop correction experiment was conducted to correct static aberration in the laboratory. The experimental results showed that the average peak to valley (PV) and root mean square (RMS) of the wavefront corrected by mode method were reduced from 2.501A (λ= 633 nm) and 0.610A to 0.0334λ and 0.00845A, respectively. The corrected PV and RMS were much smaller than those of 0.173A and 0.048A by slope method. The Strehl ratio and modulation transfer function of the system corrected by mode method were much closer to diffraction limit than with slope method. These results indicate that the mode method can take good advantage of the large number of pixels of the liquid crystal corrector to realize high correction precision.

文摘We study a novel class of two-dimensional maps with infinitely many coexisting attractors.Firstly,the mathematical model of these maps is formulated by introducing a sinusoidal function.The existence and the stability of the fixed points in the model are studied indicating that they are infinitely many and all unstable.In particular,a computer searching program is employed to explore the chaotic attractors in these maps,and a simple map is exemplified to show their complex dynamics.Interestingly,this map contains infinitely many coexisting attractors which has been rarely reported in the literature.Further studies on these coexisting attractors are carried out by investigating their time histories,phase trajectories,basins of attraction,Lyapunov exponents spectrum,and Lyapunov(Kaplan–Yorke)dimension.Bifurcation analysis reveals that the map has periodic and chaotic solutions,and more importantly,exhibits extreme multi-stability.

文摘In this advanced exploration, we focus on multiple parameters estimation in bistatic Multiple-Input Multiple-Output(MIMO) radar systems, a crucial technique for target localization and imaging. Our research innovatively addresses the joint estimation of the Direction of Departure(DOD), Direction of Arrival(DOA), and Doppler frequency for incoherent targets. We propose a novel approach that significantly reduces computational complexity by utilizing the TemporalSpatial Nested Sampling Model(TSNSM). Our methodology begins with a multi-linear mapping mechanism to efficiently eliminate unnecessary virtual Degrees of Freedom(DOFs) and reorganize the remaining ones. We then employ the Toeplitz matrix triple iteration reconstruction method, surpassing the traditional Temporal-Spatial Smoothing Window(TSSW) approach, to mitigate the single snapshot effect and reduce computational demands. We further refine the highdimensional ESPRIT algorithm for joint estimation of DOD, DOA, and Doppler frequency, eliminating the need for additional parameter pairing. Moreover, we meticulously derive the Cramér-Rao Bound(CRB) for the TSNSM. This signal model allows for a second expansion of DOFs in time and space domains, achieving high precision in target angle and Doppler frequency estimation with low computational complexity. Our adaptable algorithm is validated through simulations and is suitable for sparse array MIMO radars with various structures, ensuring higher precision in parameter estimation with less complexity burden.

文摘We propose a new fractional two-dimensional triangle function combination discrete chaotic map(2D-TFCDM)with the discrete fractional difference.Moreover,the chaos behaviors of the proposed map are observed and the bifurcation diagrams,the largest Lyapunov exponent plot,and the phase portraits are derived,respectively.Finally,with the secret keys generated by Menezes-Vanstone elliptic curve cryptosystem,we apply the discrete fractional map into color image encryption.After that,the image encryption algorithm is analyzed in four aspects and the result indicates that the proposed algorithm is more superior than the other algorithms.

文摘3D reconstruction plays an increasingly important role in modern photogrammetric systems.Conventional satellite or aerial-based remote sensing(RS)platforms can provide the necessary data sources for the 3D reconstruction of large-scale landforms and cities.Even with low-altitude Unmanned Aerial Vehicles(UAVs),3D reconstruction in complicated situations,such as urban canyons and indoor scenes,is challenging due to frequent tracking failures between camera frames and high data collection costs.Recently,spherical images have been extensively used due to the capability of recording surrounding environments from one image.In contrast to perspective images with limited Field of View(FOV),spherical images can cover the whole scene with full horizontal and vertical FOV and facilitate camera tracking and data acquisition in these complex scenes.With the rapid evolution and extensive use of professional and consumer-grade spherical cameras,spherical images show great potential for the 3D modeling of urban and indoor scenes.Classical 3D reconstruction pipelines,however,cannot be directly used for spherical images.Besides,there exist few software packages that are designed for the 3D reconstruction from spherical images.As a result,this research provides a thorough survey of the state-of-the-art for 3D reconstruction from spherical images in terms of data acquisition,feature detection and matching,image orientation,and dense matching as well as presenting promising applications and discussing potential prospects.We anticipate that this study offers insightful clues to direct future research.

文摘Recently,new geochronological data and geological observations including the discovery of garnet amphibolite,Ordovician micro-fossils,unconformable contact between the ophiolitic mélange related flysch and the Devonian to Early Carboniferous terrestrial volcanosedimentary strata provide critical evidences for Paleoenvironmental reconstruction in the western Junggar(Xinjiang,China).Two different geological layers could be clearly identified:the Early Paleozoic metamorphic terrane mainly consists of ophiolitic mélange and flysch,and the Late Paleozoic volcano-sedimentary units lying on the ophiolitic mélange and flysch.Both of these layers were intruded by granitic to dioritic magma during the Late Carboniferous to Early Permian period.Based on these data,a new geological map for the western Junggar has been compiled,which is essential not only for better understanding of the geological evolution but also for exploration of mineral resources.

文摘We present a class of two-dimensional memristive maps with a cosine memristor. The memristive maps do not have any fixed points, so they belong to the category of nonlinear maps with hidden attractors. The rich dynamical behaviors of these maps are studied and investigated using different numerical tools, including phase portrait, basins of attraction,bifurcation diagram, and Lyapunov exponents. The two-parameter bifurcation analysis of the memristive map is carried out to reveal the bifurcation mechanism of its dynamical behaviors. Based on our extensive simulation studies, the proposed memristive maps can produce hidden periodic, chaotic, and hyper-chaotic attractors, exhibiting extremely hidden multistability, namely the coexistence of infinite hidden attractors, which was rarely observed in memristive maps. Potentially,this work can be used for some real applications in secure communication, such as data and image encryptions.

文摘This paper studies a new class of two-dimensional rational maps exhibiting self-excited and hidden attractors. The mathematical model of these maps is firstly formulated by introducing a rational term. The analysis of existence and stability of the fixed points in these maps suggests that there are four types of fixed points, i.e., no fixed point, one single fixed point, two fixed points and a line of fixed points. To investigate the complex dynamics of these rational maps with different types of fixed points, numerical analysis tools, such as time histories, phase portraits, basins of attraction, Lyapunov exponent spectrum, Lyapunov(Kaplan–Yorke) dimension and bifurcation diagrams, are employed. Our extensive numerical simulations identify both self-excited and hidden attractors, which were rarely reported in the literature. Therefore, the multi-stability of these maps, especially the hidden one, is further explored in the present work.

文摘A robust approach to elaborately reconstruct the indoor scene with a consumer depth camera is proposed in this paper. In order to ensure the accuracy and completeness of 3D scene model reconstructed from a freely moving camera, this paper proposes new 3D reconstruction methods, as follows: 1) Depth images are processed with a depth adaptive bilateral filter to effectively improve the image quality; 2) A local-to-global registration with the content-based segmentation is performed, which is more reliable and robust to reduce the visual odometry drifts and registration errors; 3) An adaptive weighted volumetric method is used to fuse the registered data into a global model with sufficient geometrical details. Experimental results demonstrate that our approach increases the robustness and accuracy of the geometric models which were reconstructed from a consumer-grade depth camera.

文摘A valid image-processing algorithm of weld pool surface reconstruction according to an input image of weld pool based on shape from shading (SFS) in computer vision is presented. The weld pool surface information is related to the backside weld width, which is crucial to the quality of weld joint. The image of weld pool is recorded with an optical sensing method. Firstly, the reflectance map model, which specifies the imaging process, is estimated. Then, the algorithm of weld pool surface reconstruction based on SFS is implemented by iteration scheme and speeded by hierarchical structure. The results indicate the accuracy and effectiveness of the approach.

文摘Oxygen evolution reaction(OER)is pivotal to drive green hydrogen generation from water electrolysis,but yet is strictly overshadowed by the sluggish reaction kinetics.Earth-abundant and cut-price transitionmetal compounds,particularly Co Fe layered-double-hydroxides(LDHs),show the distinct superiorities in contrast to noble metals and their derivatives.In this review,we firstly underline their fundamental issues in electrocatalytic water oxidation,including Co Fe LDHs crystal structure,the surface of(hydr)oxides confined to OER and the controversial roles of Fe species,aiming at understanding the structure-related activity and catalytic mechanism.Advanced approaches for optimizing OER activity of Co Fe LDHs are then comprehensively overviewed,which will shed light on the different working mechanisms and provide a concise analysis of their unique advantages.Finally,a perspective on the future development of Co Fe LDHs electrocatalysts is offered.We hope this review can give a concise and explicit guidance for the development of transition-metal-based electrocatalysts in the energy field.

文摘This research studies the process of 3D reconstruction and dynamic concision based on 2D medical digital images using virtual reality modelling language (VRML) and JavaScript language, with a focus on how to realize the dynamic concision of 3D medical model with script node and sensor node in VRML. The 3D reconstruction and concision of body internal organs can be built with such high quality that they are better than those obtained from the traditional methods. With the function of dynamic concision, the VRML browser can offer better windows for man-computer interaction in real-time environment than ever before. 3D reconstruction and dynamic concision with VRML can be used to meet the requirement for the medical observation of 3D reconstruction and have a promising prospect in the fields of medical imaging.

文摘Accurate reconstruction from a reduced data set is highly essential for computed tomography in fast and/or low dose imaging applications. Conventional total variation(TV)-based algorithms apply the L1 norm-based penalties, which are not as efficient as Lp(0〈p〈1) quasi-norm-based penalties. TV with a p-th power-based norm can serve as a feasible alternative of the conventional TV, which is referred to as total p-variation(TpV). This paper proposes a TpV-based reconstruction model and develops an efficient algorithm. The total p-variation and Kullback-Leibler(KL) data divergence, which has better noise suppression capability compared with the often-used quadratic term, are combined to build the reconstruction model. The proposed algorithm is derived by the alternating direction method(ADM) which offers a stable, efficient, and easily coded implementation. We apply the proposed method in the reconstructions from very few views of projections(7 views evenly acquired within 180°). The images reconstructed by the new method show clearer edges and higher numerical accuracy than the conventional TV method. Both the simulations and real CT data experiments indicate that the proposed method may be promising for practical applications.
文摘A new method of super-resolution image reconstruction is proposed, which uses a three-step-training error backpropagation neural network (BPNN) to realize the super-resolution reconstruction (SRR) of satellite image. The method is based on BPNN. First, three groups learning samples with different resolutions are obtained according to image observation model, and then vector mappings are respectively used to those three group learning samples to speed up the convergence of BPNN, at last, three times consecutive training are carried on the BPNN. Training samples used in each step are of higher resolution than those used in the previous steps, so the increasing weights store a great amount of information for SRR, and network performance and generalization ability are improved greatly. Simulation and generalization tests are carried on the well-trained three-step-training NN respectively, and the reconstruction results with higher resolution images verify the effectiveness and validity of this method.

文摘To guarantee the accuracy and real-time of the 3D reconstruction method for outdoor scene,an algorithm based on region segmentation and matching was proposed.Firstly,on the basis of morphological gradient information,obtained by comparing color weight gradient images and proposing a multi-threshold segmentation,scene contour features were extracted by a watershed algorithm and a fuzzy c-means clustering algorithm.Secondly,to reduce the search area,increase the correct matching ratio and accelerate the matching speed,the region constraint was established according to a region's local position,area and gray characteristics,the edge pixel constraint was established according to the epipolar constraint and the continuity constraint.Finally,by using the stereo matching edge pixel pairs,their 3D coordinates were estimated according to the binocular stereo vision imaging model.Experimental results show that the proposed method can yield a high stereo matching ratio and reconstruct a 3D scene quickly and efficiently.
文摘Compressive sensing is a powerful method for reconstruction of sparsely-sampled data, based on statistical optimization. It can be applied to a range of flow measurement and visualization data, and in this work we show the usage in groundwater mapping. Due to scarcity of water in many regions of the world, including southwestern United States, monitoring and management of groundwater is of utmost importance. A complete mapping of groundwater is difficult since the monitored sites are far from one another, and thus the data sets are considered extremely “sparse”. To overcome this difficulty in complete mapping of groundwater, compressive sensing is an ideal tool, as it bypasses the classical Nyquist criterion. We show that compressive sensing can effectively be used for reconstructions of groundwater level maps, by validating against data. This approach can have an impact on geographical sensing and information, as effective monitoring and management are enabled without constructing numerous or expensive measurement sites for groundwater.

文摘Construction of high resolution images from low resolution sequences having rigid or semi-rigid ob-jects with unified motions is often important in surveillance and other applications.In this paper a novelobject-based super resolution reconstruction scheme was proposed,in which a six-parameter affine model-based object tracking and registration method was first used to segment and match objects among a se-quence of low resolution frames.The motion model was then further extended to the traditional maximuma posterior(MAP)super resolution algorithm.The proposed object tracking and registration method wasevaluated by both simulated and real acquired sequences.The results have demonstrated the high accura-cy of the proposed object based method and the enhanced reconstruction performance of the extended ap-proach.
