The three dimensional elastodynamic equations and Fourier Laplace transforms are used. Based on the influence function and the inversion of integral transforms, one can find that if the distribution of normal displacement on the surface of a dynamic elliptical crack is a polynomial of degree n in x 1 and x 2 , then the normal pressure acting over the ellipse is also a polynomial P n(x 1,x 2) of the same degree in x 1 and x 2 .展开更多

A visual representation and accurate characterization of the three-dimensional (3D) growth and distribution of hydrofracturing cracks within heterogeneous rocks is of particular use to the design and implementation of hydrofracturing stimulation of unconventional reservoirs. However, because of the difficulties involved in visually representing and quantitatively characterizing a 3D hydrofracturing crack-network, this issue remains a challenge. In this paper, a novel method is proposed for physically visualizing and quantitatively characterizing the 3D hydrofracturing crack-network distributed through a heterogeneous structure based on a natural glutenite sample. This method incorporates X-ray microfocus computed tomography (μCT), 3D printing models and hydrofracturing triaxial tests to represent visually the heterogeneous structure, and the 3D crack growth and distribution within a transparent rock model during hydrofracturing. The coupled effects of material heterogeneity and confining geostress on the 3D crack initiation and propagation were analyzed. The results indicate that the breakdown pressure of a heterogeneous rock model is significantly affected by material heterogeneity and confining geostress. The measured breakdown pressures of heterogeneous models are apparently different from those predicted by traditional theories. This study helps to elucidate the quantitative visualization and characterization of the mechanism and influencing factors that determine the hydrofracturing crack initiation and propagation in heterogeneous reservoir rocks.展开更多

The derivation was based on partitioning the buoyant flux tensor into a two-dimensional and a three-dimensional component. The five-term basis was formed with the two-dimensional component of the buoyant flux tensor. As such, the derived EASM is limited to two-dimensional flows only. In this paper, a more general approach using a seven-term representation without partitioning the buoyant flux tensor is used to derive an EASM valid for two- and three-dimensional turbulent buoyant flows. Consequently, the basis tensors are formed with the fully three-dimensional buoyant flux tensor. The derived EASM has the two-dimensional flow as a special case. The matrices and the representation coefficients are further simplified using a four-term representation. When this four-term representation model is applied to calculate two-dimensional homogeneous buoyant flows, the results are essentially identical with those obtained previously using the two-dimensional component of the buoyant flux tensor. Therefore, the present approach leads to a more general EASM formulation that is equally valid for two- and three-dimensional turbulent buoyant flows.展开更多

文摘An explicit algebraic stress model (EASM) has been formulated for two-dimensional turbulent buoyant flows using a five-term tensor representation in a prior study. 文摘The developed visualization methods of two dimensional (2D) site and three dimensional (3D) cube representations have been performed to show the orientation of transition dipole, charge transfer, and electron-hole coherence in two-photon absorption (TPA). The 3D cube representations of transition density can reveal visually the orientation and strength of transition dipole moment, and charge different density show the orientation of charge transfer in TPA. The 2D site representation can reveal visually the electron-hole coherence in TPA. The combination of 2D site and 3D cube representations provide clearly inspect into the charge transfer process and the contribution of excited molecular segments for TPA.
文摘In this paper, with the help of the eigenvalue properties of orthogonal tensors in n-dimensional Euclidean space and the representations of the orthogonal tensors in 2-dimensional space, the canonical representations of orthogonal tensors in n-dimensional Euclidean space are easily gotten. The paper also gives all the constraint relationships among the principal invariants of arbitrarily given orthogonal tensor by use of Cayley-Hamilton theorem; these results make it possible to solve all the eigenvalues of any orthogonal tensor based on a quite reduced equation of m-th order, where m is the integer part ofn \2. Finally, the formulae of the degree of freedom of orthogonal tensors are given.
文摘AIM:To evaluate the three-dimensional(3-D)representation performance of 4 publicly available Shapefrom-Shading(SfS)algorithms in small-bowel capsule endoscopy(SBCE).METHODS:SfS techniques recover the shape of objects using the gradual variation of shading. There are4 publicly available SfS algorithms. To the best of our knowledge,no comparative study with images obtained during clinical SBCE has been performed to date.Three experienced reviewers were asked to evaluate 54 twodimensional(2-D)images(categories:protrusion/inflammation/vascular)transformed to 3-D by the aforementioned SfS 3-D algorithms. The best algorithm was selected and inter-rater agreement was calculated.RESULTS:Four publicly available SfS algorithms were compared.Tsai’s SfS algorithm outperformed the rest(selected as best performing in 45/54 SBCE images),followed by Ciuti’s algorithm(best performing in 7/54images)and Torre o’s(in 1/54 images). In 26/54 images;Tsai’s algorithm was unanimously selected as the best performing 3-D representation SfS software.Tsai’s 3-D algorithm superiority was independent of lesion category(protrusion/inflammatory/vascular;P=0.678)and/or CE system used to obtain the 2-D images(MiroCam/PillCam;P=0.558).Lastly,the interobserver agreement was good(kappa=0.55).CONCLUSION:3-D representation software offers a plausible alternative for 3-D representation of conventional capsule endoscopy images(until optics technology matures enough to allow hardware enabled-"real"3-D reconstruction of the gastrointestinal tract).

文摘In global navigation satellite system denial environment,cross-view geo-localization based on image retrieval presents an exceedingly critical visual localization solution for Unmanned Aerial Vehicle(UAV)systems. The essence of cross-view geo-localization resides in matching images containing the same geographical targets from disparate platforms, such as UAV-view and satellite-view images. However, images of the same geographical targets may suffer from occlusions and geometric distortions due to variations in the capturing platform, view, and timing. The existing methods predominantly extract features by segmenting feature maps, which overlook the holistic semantic distribution and structural information of objects, resulting in loss of image information. To address these challenges, dilated neighborhood attention Transformer is employed as the feature extraction backbone, and Multi-feature representations based on Multi-scale Hierarchical Contextual Aggregation(MMHCA)is proposed. In the proposed MMHCA method, the multiscale hierarchical contextual aggregation method is utilized to extract contextual information from local to global across various granularity levels, establishing feature associations of contextual information with global and local information in the image.Subsequently, the multi-feature representations method is utilized to obtain rich discriminative feature information, bolstering the robustness of model in scenarios characterized by positional shifts, varying distances, and scale ambiguities.Comprehensive experiments conducted on the extensively utilized University-1652 and SUES-200 benchmarks indicate that the MMHCA method surpasses the existing techniques.showing outstanding results in UAV localization and navigation.
文摘Let F_(1)be the virtual field consisting of one element and(Q,I)a string pair.In this paper,we study the representations of string pairs over the virtual field F_(1).It is proved that an indecomposable F_(1)-representation is either a string representation or a band representation by using the coefficient quivers. It is worth noting that for a given band and a positive integer, there exists a unique band representation up to isomorphism.

文摘SrRuO_(3)is a canonical itinerant ferromagnet, yet its properties in the extreme two-dimensional limit on a(111)crystal plane remain largely unexplored. Here,we demonstrate a complete transformation of its ground state driven by dimensional reduction. As the thickness of(111)-oriented SrRuO_(3)films is reduced to a few unit cells, the system transitions from a metallic ferromagnet to a semiconducting antiferromagnet. This emergent antiferromagnetism is evidenced by a vanishing magnetic remanence and most strikingly,by the appearance of an unconventional twelve-fold anisotropic magnetoresistance.First-principles calculations confirm that an A-type antiferromagnetic order is the stable ground state in the ultrathin limit. Our findings establish(111)dimensional engineering as a powerful route to manipulate correlated electron states and uncover novel functionalities for antiferromagnetic spintronics.
