The given distributed-parameter observer ensures asymptotic state estimator with exponentially decay error, based on the theory of C0-semigroups in a Hilbert space. The theoretical observer developed is applied to a chemical tubular reactor, namely the isothermal Plug-Flow reactor basic dynamical model for which measurements are available at the reactor output only. The process is described by Partial differential equations with unknown initial states. For this application, performance issues are illustrated in a simulation study.展开更多
By analyzing ψ(3686) data sample containing (107.7±0.6)×10^(6) events taken with the BESIII detector at the BEPCII storage ring in 2009,the χ_(c 0) resonance parameters are precisely measured using χ_(c 0...By analyzing ψ(3686) data sample containing (107.7±0.6)×10^(6) events taken with the BESIII detector at the BEPCII storage ring in 2009,the χ_(c 0) resonance parameters are precisely measured using χ_(c 0,c 2)→π^(+)π^(−)/K^(+)K^(−) events.The mass of χ_(c 0) is determined to be M (χ_(c 0))=(3415.63±0.07±0.07±0.07)MeV/c^(2),and its full width is F (χ_(c 0))=(12.52±0.12±0.13)MeV,where the first uncertainty is statistical,the second systematic,and the third for mass comes from χ_(c 2) mass uncertainty.These measurements improve the precision of χ_(c 0) mass by a factor of four and width by one order of magnitude over the previous individual measurements,and significantly boost our knowledge about the charmonium spectrum.Together with additional (345.4±2.6)×10^(6)(3686) data events taken in 2012,the decay branching fractions of χ_(c 0,c 2)→π^(+)π^(−)/K^(+)K^(−) are measured as well,with precision improved by a factor of three compared to previous measurements.These χ_(c 0) decay branching fractions provide important inputs for the study of glueballs.展开更多

The repairable system with two identical units and one authors are devoted to studying the unique existence and exponential stability of the system solution. C0-semigroup theory is used to prove the existence of a unique nonnegative time-dependent solution of the system. Then by using the theory of resolvent positive operator, the authors derive that dynamic solution of the system exponentially converges to its steady-state one which is the eigenfunction corresponding to eigenvalue 0 of the system operator. Some reliability indices of the system are discussed with a different method from traditional one. The authors also make a profit analysis to determine the optimal service time outside the system to maximize the system profit.展开更多

Objective:To investigate the antitumor effect of maesopsin 4-O-β-glucoside(TAT2) isolated from the leaves of Artocarpus tonkinensis(A.tonkinensis) A.Chev.ex Gagnep.Methods:The antitumor activity of TAT2 was evaluated...Objective:To investigate the antitumor effect of maesopsin 4-O-β-glucoside(TAT2) isolated from the leaves of Artocarpus tonkinensis(A.tonkinensis) A.Chev.ex Gagnep.Methods:The antitumor activity of TAT2 was evaluated in Lewis lung carcinoma(LLC) tumor-bearing mice.BALB/c mice had tumors induced by implantation with 2× 10~6 LLC cells into the subcutaneous right posterior Hank.Tumor-bearing mice were treated orally with a range of doses of TAT2 and a standard drug,doxorubicin.Animals were observed for tumor growth and mortality rate.Blood was collected to determine hematological and biochemical parameters.Results TAT2 was isolated from an ethanolic extract of 1.tonkinensis leaves.Its structure was determined by MS and NMR spectroscopy,and identified as TAT2.The compound did not show acute toxicity at the highest dose tested(2 OIK) mg/kg body weight).TAT2 exhibited antitumor activity by decreasing tumor growth,increasing the survival rale,and ameliorating some hematological and biochemical parameters at doses of 100 and 200 mg/kg body weight(P<0.05).Conclusions:These results indicate that TAT2 possesses clear antitumor activity.Due to its bioavailability and low toxicity,and the fact that it could be isolated in a large scale from A.tonkinensis leaves,the compound shows promise as a potential anticancer drug.展开更多

Then, we show that the essential growth bound of the C_0-semigroup generated by the operator is 0 and therefore it is not quasi compact, the essential spectral bound of the C_0-semigroup is equal to 1.
