文摘Theoretical calculations serve as an effective method for determining plasma temperatures within planetary atmospheres. To simulate plasma temperature,a comprehensive implementation of the energy equation is used, which is governed by five terms:conductivity, heating, cooling, adiabatic expansion, and advection. The derivations mentioned are strongly dependent on the collision cross section between electrons and other particles(e.g.,neutrals,ions).It is notable that the momentum transfer cross sections between electrons and neutrals have been updated in recent decades. However, the widely used momentum average collision cross sections between electrons and neutrals, derived from the momentum transfer cross sections, are collected in studies dating back nearly half a century. Therefore,it becomes imperative to revise the momentum average collision cross sections relevant to astrophysical contexts, based on the latest studies. In this study,we summarize the momentum average collision cross sections of 13 species common in planetary atmospheres:H,H_(2),He,O,CH_(4),H_(2)O,CO,N_(2),O_(2),Ar,CO_(2),N_(2)O,and NO_(2).All results are derived from the latest studies concerning the electron-neutral collision cross section and are compared with previous studies.Furthermore,we present a comparison of the derived total electron-neutral collision frequency at Mars between this study and previous studies.Prominent differences in the total electron-neutral collision frequency between this and prior studies support the significance of updating the momentum average collision cross section between electrons and neutrals in studying the planetary atmospheres.

文摘The development of ZnO-based composites with high charge separation and effective inhibition of toxic by-products is admirable for effective photocatalysis of nitrogen oxides(NO_(x))oxidation.In this study, carbon quan-tum dots(CQDs)/ZnO hollow microspheres, synthesized through a rapid microwave-assisted method, achievedover a 30-fold higher NO_(x) removal efficiency compared to ZnO,with complete inhibition of NO_(2) by-products andgood durability. The enhanced photocatalytic activity was ascribed to the unique role of CQDs,as revealed byin-situ photoelectric techniques. Results demonstrated that the electron directional migration from ZnO to CQDsat the composite interface accounts for the enhanced charge separation.Active free radicals for NO_(x) oxidationwere identified, and in-situ diffuse reflectance infrared Fourier transform spectroscopy analysis elucidated theconversion pathways of NO_(x) oxidation under visible light irradiation. This work sheds light on the mechanismsof electron transfer and charge separation at the composite interface, offering guidance for designing superiorZnO-based photocatalysts for complete NO_(x) removal.

文摘Hyperpolarization of nuclear spins is crucial for advancing nuclear magnetic resonance and quantum information technologies,as nuclear spins typically exhibit extremely low polarization at room temperature due to their small gyromagnetic ratios.A promising approach to achieving high nuclear spin polarization is transferring the polarization of electrons to nuclear spins. The nitrogen-vacancy(NV)center in diamond has emerged as a highly effective medium for this purpose, and various hyperpolarization protocols have been developed.Among these, the pulsed polarization(PulsePol)method has been extensively studied due to its robustness against static energy shifts of the electron spin.In this work,we present a novel polarization protocol and uncover a family of magic sequences for hyperpolarizing nuclear spins, with PulsePol emerging as a special case of our general approach.Notably,we demonstrate that some of these magic sequences exhibit significantly greater robustness compared to the PulsePol protocol in the presence of finite half𝜋pulse duration of the protocol,Rabi and detuning errors. This enhanced robustness positions our protocol as a more suitable candidate for hyper-polarizing nuclear spins species with large gyromagnetic ratios and also ensures better compatibility with high-efficiency readout techniques at high magnetic fields.Additionally, the generality of our protocol allows for its direct application to other solid-state quantum systems beyond the NV center.

文摘The development of optoelectronic technologies demands photodetectors with miniaturization, broadband operation, high sensitivity, and low power consumption.Although 2D van der Waals(vd W)heterostructures are promising candidates due to their built-in electric fields, ultrafast photocarrier separation, and tunable bandgaps, defect states limit their performance. Therefore, the modulation of the optoelectronic properties in such heterostructures is imperative.Surface charge transfer doping(SCTD)has emerged as a promising strategy for non-destructive modulation of electronic and optoelectronic characteristics in two-dimensional materials. In this work,we demonstrate the construction of high-performance p-i-n vertical heterojunction photodetectors through SCTD of MoTe_(2)/ReS_(2)heterostructure using p-type F_(4)-TCNQ.Systematic characterization reveals that the interfacial doping process effectively amplifies the built-in electric field, enhancing photogenerated carrier separation efficiency.Compared to the pristine heterojunction device, the doped photodetector exhibits remarkable visible to nearinfrared(635-1064 nm)performance.Particularly under 1064 nm illumination at zero bias, the device achieves a responsivity of 2.86 A/W and specific detectivity of 1.41×10^(12)Jones.Notably,the external quantum efficiency reaches an exceptional value of 334%compared to the initial 11.5%,while maintaining ultrafast response characteristics with rise/fall times of 11.6/15.6μs.This work provides new insights into interface engineering through molecular doping for developing high-performance vd W optoelectronic devices.

文摘Fe reducing bacteria(FRB),through extracellular electron transfer(EET)pathway, can reduce Fe(III)nanoparticles, thereby affecting the migration, transformation, and degradation of pollutants. However, the interaction of Fe(III)nanoparticles with the most commonly identified FRB,Geobacter sulfurreducens PCA,remains poorly understood.Herein,we demonstrated that the synergistic role of outer membrane proteins and periplasmic proteins in the EET process for-Fe_(2)O_(3),Fe3O4,and𝛽α-FeOOH nanoparticles by construction of multiple gene knockout strain.oxpG(involved in the type II secretion system)and omcST(outer membrane c-type cytochrome)medi-ated pathways accounted for approximately 67%of the total reduction of𝛼α-Fe_(2)O_(3) nanoparticles. The residual reduction of𝛼α-Fe_(2)O_(3) nanoparticles in∆oxpG-omcST strain was likely caused by redox-active substances in cell supernatant.Conversely, the reduction of dissolved Fe(III)was almost unaffected in∆oxpG-omcST strain at the same concentration. However,at high dissolved Fe(III)concentration, the reduction significantly decreased due to the formation of Fe(III)nanoparticles, suggesting that this EET process is specific to Fe(III)nanoparticles.Overall, our study provided a more comprehensive understanding for the EET pathways between G.sulfurreducens PCA and different Fe(III)species, enriching our knowledge on the role of microorganisms in iron biogeochemical cycles and remediation strategies of pollutants.

文摘With the increasing growth of online news, fake electronic news detection has become one of the most important paradigms of modern research.Traditional electronic news detection techniques are generally based on contextual understanding, sequential dependencies,and/or data imbalance. This makes distinction between genuine and fabricated news a challenging task.To address this problem,we propose a novel hybrid architecture,T5-SA-LSTM,which synergistically integrates the T5 Transformer for semantically rich contextual embedding with the Self-Attentionenhanced(SA)Long Short-Term Memory(LSTM).The LSTM is trained using the Adam optimizer, which provides faster and more stable convergence compared to the Stochastic Gradient Descend(SGD)and Root Mean Square Propagation(RMSProp). The WELFake and FakeNewsPrediction datasets are used, which consist of labeled news articles having fake and real news samples.Tokenization and Synthetic Minority Over-sampling Technique(SMOTE)methods are used for data preprocessing to ensure linguistic normalization and class imbalance. The incorporation of the Self-Attention(SA)mechanism enables the model to highlight critical words and phrases, thereby enhancing predictive accuracy. The proposed model is evaluated using accuracy, precision, recall(sensitivity),and F1-score as performance metrics. The model achieved 99%accuracy on the WELFake dataset and 96.5%accuracy on the FakeNewsPrediction dataset. It outperformed the competitive schemes such as T5-SA-LSTM(RMSProp),T5-SA-LSTM(SGD)and some other models.

文摘Peroxymonosulfate(PMS)-based advanced oxidation processes(AOPs)are an effective way to remove emerging contaminants(ECs)from water. The catalytic process involving PMS is hindered by the suboptimal electron trans-fer efficiency of current catalysts, the further application of AOPs technology is limited. Here,it is proposed that the interfacial electric field can be controlled by bor(B)-doped FeNC catalysts, which shows significant advantages in the efficient generation, release and participation of reactive oxygen species(ROS)in the reaction. The super exchange interaction between Fe sites and N and B sites is realized through the directional transfer of electrons in the interfacial electric field, which ensures the high efficiency and stability of the PMS catalytic process.B doping increases the d orbitals distribution at Fermi level, which facilitates enhanced electron transition activity, thereby promoting the effective generation of (1)^O_(2).At the same time, orbital hybridization causes the center of the d band to move to a lower energy level, which not only contributes to the desorption process of (1)^O_(2),but also accelerates its release. In addition,B-doping also improved the adsorption capacity of organic pollutants and shortened the migration distance of ROS,thereby significantly improving the degradation efficiency of ECs.The B-doping strategy outlined offers a novel approach to the development of FeNC catalysts,it lays a theoretical foundation and offers technical insights for the integration of PMS/AOPs technology in the ECs management.
文摘Bay-site carboxyl functionalized perylene diimide derivative 1,7-COOH-PDI-C_(12)(PDI-COOH)was synthesized and distinct enhanced fluorescence was observed through combining with calcium ion(Ca^(2+))in THF/H_(2)O solution. The assembly and fluorescence behavior of PDI-COOH/Ca^(2+)were studied in detail by changing hydration state with different concentrations.Based on the differences in assembly morphology and stoichiometric ratios of PDICOOH/Ca^(2+),we proposed the fluorescence emission mechanism of PDI-COOH/Ca^(2+)in THF/H_(2)O and THF,respectively. This work reveals a novel strategy of aggregated state fluorescence enhancement and reminds us of the important role of water in molecular fluorescence emission and assembly.
文摘The regioselective carbon-hydrogen bond functionalization reaction in atom-and step-economy holds significant potential for the late-stage elaboration of complex molecules and natural products. In recent years, the hydrogen atom transfer strategy involving radicals has garnered considerable attention from chemists due to its high chemoselectivity and regioselectivity. However, owing to the marginal differences in bond dissociation energies(BDEs)among C(sp^(3))—H bonds, hydrogen atom transfer reactions mediated by alkyl radicals remain less-developed.A copper-catalyzed sulfone-induced regioselective C(sp^(3))—H bond heteroarylation reaction was reported. This strategy utilizes theα-alkyl radical of sulfone as an intramolecular hydrogen abstraction reagent, enabling the regioselective formation of carbon-nitrogen bonds under copper catalysis.

文摘Full-color imaging is essential in digital pathology for accurate tissue analysis.Utilizing advanced optical modulation and phase retrieval algorithms,Fourier ptychographic microscopy(FPM)offers a powerful solution for high-throughput digital pathology, combining high resolution, large field of view, and extended depth of field(DOF).However, the full-color capabilities of FPM are hindered by coherent color artifacts and reduced computational efficiency, which significantly limits its practical applications.Color-transferbased FPM(CFPM)has emerged as a potential solution, theoretically reducing both acquisition and reconstruction threefold time.Yet,existing methods fall short of achieving the desired reconstruction speed and colorization quality. In this study,we report a generalized dual-color-space constrained model for FPM colorization. This model provides a mathematical framework for model-based FPM colorization, enabling a closed-form solution without the need for redundant iterative calculations. Our approach, termed generalized CFPM(gCFPM),achieves colorization within seconds for megapixel-scale images, delivering superior colorization quality in terms of both colorfulness and sharpness, along with an extended DOF.Both simulations and experiments demonstrate that gCFPM surpasses state-of-the-art methods across all evaluated criteria. Our work offers a robust and comprehensive workflow for high-throughput full-color pathological imaging using FPM platforms, laying a solid foundation for future advancements in methodology and engineering.

文摘Objective Poxviruses are zoonotic pathogens that infect humans, mammals, vertebrates, and arthropods. However, the specific role of ticks in transmission and evolution of these viruses remains unclear. Methods Transcriptomic and metatranscriptomic raw data from 329 sampling pools of seven tick species across five continents were mined to assess the diversity and abundance of poxviruses.Chordopoxviral sequences were assembled and subjected to phylogenetic analysis to trace the origins of the unblasted fragments within these sequences. Results Fifty-eight poxvirus species, representing two subfamilies and 20 genera, were identified, with 212 poxviral sequences assembled.A substantial proportion of AT-rich fragments were detected in the assembled poxviral genomes. These genomic sequences contained fragments originating from rodents, archaea, and arthropods. Conclusion Our findings indicate that ticks play a significant role in the transmission and evolution of poxviruses. These viruses demonstrate the capacity to modulate virulence and adaptability through horizontal gene transfer, gene recombination, and gene mutations, thereby promoting co-existence and co-evolution with their hosts. This study advances understanding of the ecological dynamics of poxvirus transmission and evolution and highlights the potential role of ticks as vectors and vessels in these processes.
文摘This article presents a detailed theoretical hybrid analysis of the magnetism and the thermal radiative heat transfer in the presence of heat generation affecting the behavior of the dispersed gold nanoparticles(AuNPs)through the blood vessels of the human body. The rheology of gold-blood nanofluid is treated as magnetohydrodynamic(MHD)flow with ferromagnetic properties. The AuNPs take different shapes as bricks, cylinders, and platelets which are considered in changing the nanofluid flow behavior.Physiologically, the blood is circulated under the kinetics of the peristaltic action. The mixed properties of the slip flow, the gravity, the space porosity, the transverse ferromagnetic field, the thermal radiation, the nanoparticles shape factors, the peristaltic amplitude ratio, and the concentration of the AuNPs are interacted and analyzed for the gold-blood circulation in the inclined tube. The appropriate model for the thermal conductivity of the nanofluid is chosen to be the effective Hamilton-Crosser model. The undertaken nanofluid can be treated as incompressible non-Newtonian ferromagnetic fluid. The solutions of the partial differential governing equations of the MHD nanofluid flow are executed by the strategy of perturbation approach under the assumption of long wavelength and low Reynolds number.Graphs for the streamwise velocity distributions, temperature distributions, pressure gradients, pressure drops, and streamlines are presented under the influences of the pertinent properties. The practical implementation of this research finds application in treating cancer through a technique known as photothermal therapy(PTT).The results indicate the control role of the magnetism, the heat generation, the shape factors of the AuNPs,and its concentration on the enhancement of the thermal properties and the streamwise velocity of the nanofluid. The results reveal a marked enhancement in the temperature profiles of the nanofluid, prominently influenced by both the intensified heat source and the heightened volume fractions of the nanoparticles.Furthermore, the platelet shape is regarded as most advantageous for heat conduction owing to its highest effective thermal conductivity.AuNPs proved strong efficiency in delivering and targeting the drug to reach the affected area with tumors. These results offer valuable insights into evaluating the effectiveness of PTT in addressing diverse cancer conditions and regulating their progression.

文摘In scenarios such as vehicle radiation monitoring and unmanned aerial vehicle radiation detection, rapid measurements using a NaI(Tl)detector often result in low photon counts, weak characteristic peaks, and significant statistical fluctuations. These issues can lead to potential failures in peak-searching-based identification methods. To address the low precision associated with short-duration measurements of radionuclides, this paper proposes an identification algorithm that leverages heterogeneous spectral transfer to develop a low-count energy spectral identification model.Comparative experiments demonstrated that transferring samples from 26 classes of simulated heterogeneous gamma spectra aids in creating a reliable model for measured gamma spectra. With only 10%of target domain samples used for training, the accuracy on real low-count spectral samples was 95.56%.This performance shows a significant improvement over widely employed full-spectrum analysis methods trained on target domain samples. The proposed method also exhibits strong generalization capabilities, effectively mitigating overfitting issues in low-count energy spectral classification under short-duration measurements.

文摘Catalytic oxidation of organic pollutants is a well-known and effective technique for pollutant abatement.Unfortunately, this method is significantly hindered in practical applications by the lowefficiency and difficult recovery of the catalysts in a powdery form.Herein,a three-dimensional(3D)framework of Fe-incorporated Ni_(3)S_(2)nanosheets in-situ grown on Ni foam(Fe-Ni_(3)S_(2)@NF)was fabricated by a facile two-step hydrothermal process and applied to trigger peroxymonosulfate(PMS)oxidation of organic compounds inwater.A homogeneous growth environment enabled the uniform and scalable growth of Fe-Ni_(3)S_(2)nanosheets on the Ni foam.Fe-Ni_(3)S_(2)@NF possessed outstanding activity and durability in activating PMS,as it effectively facilitated electron transfer from organic pollutants to PMS.Fe-Ni_(3)S_(2)@NF initially supplied electrons to PMS,causing the catalyst to undergo oxidation, and subsequently accepted electrons from organic compounds, returning to its initial state. The introduction of Fe into the Ni_(3)S_(2)lattice enhanced electrical conductivity, promoting mediated electron transfer between PMS and organic compounds. The 3D conductive Ni foam provided an ideal platform for the nucleation and growth of Fe-Ni_(3)S_(2),accelerating pollutant abatement due to its porous structure and high conductivity.Furthermore, its monolithic nature simplified the catalyst recycling process.A continuous flow packed-bed reactor by encapsulating Fe-Ni_(3)S_(2)@NF catalyst achieved complete pollutant abatement with continuous operation for 240 h,highlighting its immense potential for practical environmental remediation. This study presents a facile synthesis method for creating a novel type of monolithic catalyst with high activity and durability for decontamination through Fenton-like processes.
