Based on the pioneering work of Konishi et al. [Phys. Rev. E (1999) 60 4000], a new feedback control scheme is presented to suppress traffic jams based on the coupled map car-following model under the open boundary condition. The effect of the safe headway on the traffic system is considered. According to the control theory, the condition under which traffic jams can be suppressed is analyzed. The results are compared with the previous results concerning congestion control. The simulations show that the suppression performance of our scheme on traffic jams is better than those of the previous schemes, although all the schemes can suppress traffic jams. The simulation results are consistent with theoretical analyses. 展开更多

Based on the pioneer work of Konishi et al, a new control method is presented to suppress the traffic congestion in the coupled map (CM) car-following model under an open boundary. A control signal concluding the velocity differences of the two vehicles in front is put forward. The condition under which the traffic jam can be contained is analyzed. The results axe compared with that presented by Konishi et al [Phys. Rev. 1999 E 60 4000-4007]. The simulation results show that the temporal behavior obtained by our method is better than that by the Konishi's et al. method, although both the methods could suppress the traffic jam. It is assumed that the automobile receives traffic signal information from intelligent transportation systems (ITS). Model predictive control is used to calculate optimal vehicle control inputs using traffic signal and road slope information. The performance of the proposed method was analyzed through computer simulation results. Both the fuel economy and the driving profile are optimized using the proposed approach. In light of previous work [Phys. Rev. E 60 4000 (1999)], a modified coupled-map car-following model is proposed by considering the headways of two successive vehicles in front of a considered vehicle described by the optimal velocity function. The non-jam conditions are given on the basis of control theory. Through simulation, we find that our model can exhibit a better effect as p = 0.65, which is a parameter in the optimal velocity function. The control scheme, which was proposed by Zhao and Gao, is introduced into the modified model and the feedback gain range is determined. In addition, a modified control method is applied to a mixed traffic system that consists of two types of vehicle. The range of gains is also obtained by theoretical analysis. Comparisons between our method and that of Zhao and Gao are carried out, and the corresponding numerical simulation results demonstrate that the temporal behavior of traffic flow obtained using our method is better than that proposed by Zhao and Gao in mixed traffic systems. 展开更多

The nonlinear feedback method is used to study the control of the chaotic system of the unidirectionally traffic coupled map lattice model. The stability of spatiotemporal chaos in the coupled map lattice is realized. The results of numerical simulation show that there is a relationship between control results and control parameters when controlling spatiotemporal chaos to a uniform stable state in a certain phase space compression parameter region. 展开更多

The modern control theory is applied for the linear stability condition with feedback control signal. The result shows that the stability of traffic flow is closely related to the information of the historic optimal velocity. In this paper, a new simulation approach for solving the mixed train scheduling problem on the high-speed double-track rail line is presented. Based on the discrete-time movement model, we propose control strategies for mixed train movement with different speeds on a high-speed double-track rail line, including braking strategy, priority rule, travelling strategy, and departing rule. A new detailed algorithm is also presented based on the proposed control strategies for mixed train movement. Moreover, we analyze the dynamic properties of rail traffic flow on a high-speed rail line. Using our proposed method, we can effectively simulate the mixed train schedule on a rail line. The numerical results demonstrate that an appropriate decrease of the departure interval can enhance the capacity, and a suitable increase of the distance between two adjacent stations can enhance the average speed. Meanwhile, the capacity and the average speed will be increased by appropriately enhancing the ratio of faster train number to slower train number from 1. 展开更多

The optimal control model for freeway corridor is developed under incident conditions, which is in the form of minimization of the sum of the square of the difference between traffic demand and capacity at each intersection and on the freeway bottleneck section. The model optimizes control parameters of phase splits at arterial intersections, off-ramp diversion rates at upstream off-ramps and on-ramp diversion rates at downstream on ramps. Finally, the objective function is discussed and it is showed that the optimal control model is simple and practical. 展开更多

Traffi c predictions are carried out to support the congestion control in the semi-smart antenna systems. The objective function is set up as minimizing the recovery time during which the separation minima are not infringed and the separation of the air traffic flow returns to the initial separation at the terminal time. Pontryagin's minimum principle is used to solve the optimum aircraft-following velocity control law. An analytical minimum safe following separation is also provided under the time-optimal control law. The simulation results show that the precision first-order tracking accuracy is achieved without losing the separation. 展开更多

针对航迹随机扰动下的纵向自主间隔保持问题,高空风这一随机因素往往导致两机纵向间隔鲁棒性较差的情况,基于此,提出基于模型预测控制(MPC)的航空器纵向自主间隔控制方法。建立两机所受风场差值与纵向间隔的非线性运动学微分方程,推导... 针对航迹随机扰动下的纵向自主间隔保持问题,高空风这一随机因素往往导致两机纵向间隔鲁棒性较差的情况,基于此,提出基于模型预测控制(MPC)的航空器纵向自主间隔控制方法。建立两机所受风场差值与纵向间隔的非线性运动学微分方程,推导线性时变预测模型,选取两机的纵向间隔和航路偏差距离为优化目标,高空风为随机扰动量,前机的真空速和偏航角作为观测量,并在空中安全和航空器性能约束中加入终端等式约束保持系统的稳定性。为验证所提方法的有效性,在规定的120s仿真时间内,设置3组不同期望纵向间隔分别为12,13,14km,通过设计的MPC控制器,在滚动时域周期内通过控制后机真空速和偏航角,两机纵向间隔曲线较为平滑且始终不低于最小安全间隔10 km,分别在第74,90,118 s稳定在期望的目标纵向间隔,在第58,74,95 s开始回归航路,最终回到航路中心线;设置了2组风场对照组,一组为预报风强度增大2倍,另一组为紊流风的扰动强度增大8倍,均能分别在第61,72s平滑且稳定地建立期望的纵向间隔12km。 展开更多

为应对城市交通中机动车尾气排放与交叉口延误的双重挑战,对低排放背景下交叉口信号控制优化的理论与方法进行了研究。在研究问题方面,对机动车尾气排放模型(如COPERT、IVE)及交叉口延误模型的特性进行了深入分析,重点关注其优化目标。... 为应对城市交通中机动车尾气排放与交叉口延误的双重挑战,对低排放背景下交叉口信号控制优化的理论与方法进行了研究。在研究问题方面,对机动车尾气排放模型(如COPERT、IVE)及交叉口延误模型的特性进行了深入分析,重点关注其优化目标。研究发现,COPERT和IVE模型在模拟我国污染状况时具有较高准确性,适用于低排放背景下的排放预测。在建模方法方面,研究从点控、线控和面控三个层次展开,涵盖双层规划模型、微观排放模型和跟驰模型。在求解算法方面,遗传算法、人工鱼群算法、模拟退火算法等启发式方法被广泛应用,而深度强化学习算法及其改进算法在动态优化中展现出显著优势,优化效率提升约15%~30%。基于现有研究,提出未来研究需结合司机驾驶行为与“排放-效率”的博弈关系,优化算法高效性并缩短模型计算时长,同时关注新能源汽车、无人驾驶及智能网联技术的综合应用,推动“人-车-路-环境”协同发展,为城市交通系统的绿色低碳转型提供理论支持和技术保障。 展开更多

基于模糊调度策略的无信号交叉路口车辆控制研究

为提高车辆在无信号交叉路口的通行效率,以车辆加速度变化率和目标车辆通行时间为目标,提出一种车路协同下无信号交叉路口车辆的通行策略。通过建立车路协同场景,划分动态冲突区域和静态冲突区域,定义模型输入参数,构建车辆通行顺序模... 为提高车辆在无信号交叉路口的通行效率,以车辆加速度变化率和目标车辆通行时间为目标,提出一种车路协同下无信号交叉路口车辆的通行策略。通过建立车路协同场景,划分动态冲突区域和静态冲突区域,定义模型输入参数,构建车辆通行顺序模型和车辆运动状态控制模型,并通过SIMULINK进行仿真,验证模型有效性。实验结果表明,采用该模型后,在常见交通场景中,车辆减速阶段加速度最大变化率平均减少17.27%,车辆加速度变化幅度平均减少37.06%,最大加速度平均降低37.53%,通行时间平均减少41.33%;在特殊交通场景中,车辆减速阶段加速度最大变化率平均减少45.95%,车辆加速度变化幅度平均减少38.89%,最大加速度平均降低48.2%,通行时间平均可减少44.31%;另外,与同类算法优化率相比,该策略模型的平均通行时间和平均车速分别优化42.82%和45.8%,优化效果显著,且两项指标更为均衡,同时车辆速度无频繁波动,乘坐舒适性更佳。因此,在较小牺牲部分车辆舒适性能的条件下,该策略模型大幅提升了整体通行效率。 展开更多

城市交通拥塞风险场级联失效及韧性评估研究 被引量:1

应用信息物理系统,本文对城市交通拥塞风险场级联失效过程及量化评估韧性风险大小问题进行研究。首先,考虑城市交通拥塞风险的多维耦合特征,建立城市交通拥塞风险场真实交通路网和交通拥塞防控类型分区相互耦合的CPS(Cyber Physical Sys... 应用信息物理系统,本文对城市交通拥塞风险场级联失效过程及量化评估韧性风险大小问题进行研究。首先,考虑城市交通拥塞风险的多维耦合特征,建立城市交通拥塞风险场真实交通路网和交通拥塞防控类型分区相互耦合的CPS(Cyber Physical Systems)控制模型,运用复杂网络理论对交通域进行结构特性分析。其次,重新界定CPS特征参数,定义CPS级联失效4个过程,构建城市交通拥塞风险场CPS级联失效模型。然后,以风险因子为介入点,结合网络拓扑结构理论阐述风险扰动机理,通过归一定量化节点连通度、延误时间、平均运行速度和平均拥塞长度等韧性指标检验CPS连通性,采用不同失效-恢复策略,利用鲁棒性、破坏/恢复速率等指标评估CPS受损扰动及韧性恢复能力。案例结果显示:贵阳市城市交通拥塞风险场CPS真实交通网由170个交叉口和231条边构成,交通拥塞防控类型分区网络由21个交通指挥片区和41条边构成。CPS模型最大、最小度值分别为22、1,度值服从幂率分布函数,具备特有无标度网络特征,介数呈现指数分布;度值扰动对贵阳市真实交通路网影响程度最大,介数扰动使贵阳市交通拥塞防控类型分区影响最大。在t=2时刻,网络性能在介数扰动和度值扰动下网络性能均开始下降,介数扰动相较于度值扰动影响性能更大,均在t=7时达到最低。介数恢复效果均优于度值恢复,在介数扰动下,贵阳市真实交通路网的度值恢复和介数恢复效果均差,韧性值分别为0.01123和0.01252,显著低于交通拥塞防控类型分区的韧性值0.1355。综上,本文城市交通拥塞风险场韧性评估模型可有效实现定量化评价,对启动不同阶段交通拥塞控制策略有借鉴意义。 展开更多
