We assume the sources to be time-frequency (TF) disjoint to a certain extent. In particular, the number of sources presented at any TF neighborhood is strictly less than that of sensors. We can identify the real number of active sources and achieve separation in any TF neighborhood by the sparse representation method. Compared with the subspace-based algorithm under the same sparseness assumption, which suffers from the extra noise effect since it can-not estimate the true number of active sources, the proposed algorithm can estimate the number of active sources and their cor-responding TF values in any TF neighborhood simultaneously. An-other contribution of this paper is a new estimation procedure for the DOA of sources in the underdetermined case, which combines the TF sparseness of sources and the clustering technique. Sim-ulation results demonstrate the validity and high performance of the proposed algorithm in both blind source separation (BSS) and DOA estimation.展开更多

Two operators with domain knowledge were designed in algorithms, where the feature of parallel line segments without the problem of data association was used to construct a vaccination operator, and the characters of convex vertices in polygonal obstacle were extended to develop a pulling operator of key point grid. On one hand, the quasiexact/exact solution obtained in the time/frequency domain is time-consuming and just as a reference value for approximate solutions;on the other hand, calculation errors and application range of approximate solutions not only rely on approximate algorithms but also on discharge modes. For the purpose to track the transient dynamics for Li solid-phase diffusion in spherical active particles with a tolerable error range and for a wide applicable range, it is necessary to choose optimal approximate algorithms in terms of discharge modes and the nature of active material particles. In this study, approximation methods, such as diffusion length method, polynomial profile approximation method, Padé approximation method, pseudo steady state method, eigenfunction-based Galerkin collocation method, and separation of variables method for solving Li solid-phase diffusion in spherical active particles are compared from calculation fundamentals to algorithm implementation. Furthermore, these approximate solutions are quantitatively compared to the quasi-exact/exact solution in the time/frequency domain under typical discharge modes, i.e., start-up, slow-down, and speed-up. The optimization efficiency and computational speed are improved via the hybrid GA com- posed of standard GA and Nelder-Mead simplex algorithms. First, the objective function, with a form of generalized Rayleigh quotient, is derived via the standard D3LS algorithm. It is then taken as a fitness function and the unknown phases of all adaptive weights are taken as decision variables. Then, the nonlinear optimization is performed via the hybrid GA to obtain the optimized solution of phase-only adaptive weights. As a phase-only adaptive algorithm, the proposed algorithm is sim- pler than conventional algorithms when it comes to hardware implementation. Moreover, it proc- esses only a single snapshot data as opposed to forming sample covariance matrix and operating matrix inversion. Simulation results show that the proposed algorithm has a good signal recovery and interferences nulling performance, which are superior to that of the phase-only D3LS algorithm based on standard GA.展开更多

This approach synthesizes two techniques: protograph LDPC codes and OFDM. One symbol of encoded information by protograph LDPC codes corresponds to one sub-carrier, namely the length of encoded information equals to the number of sub-carriers. The design of good protograph LDPC codes with short lengths is given, and the proposed proto- graph LDPC codes can be of fast encoding, which can reduce the encoding complexity and simplify encoder hardware implementa- tion. The proposed approach provides a higher coding gain in the Rayleigh fading channel. The simulation results in the Rayleigh fading channel show that the bit error rate (BER) performance of the proposed time-frequency codes is as good as random LDPC- OFDM codes and is better than Tanner LDPC-OFDM codes under the condition of different fading coefficients.展开更多

文摘Existing elevator fault diagnosis algorithms have limited engineering applicability due to variations in working conditions and differences in equipment structures. To address this limitation, this study proposes an unsupervised subdomain adaptation method based on a time-frequency feature attention mechanism,LMMD-based subdomain alignment, and contrastive local alignment. This enables the application of the diagnosis model across different working conditions and equipment types.First,a novel time-frequency feature attention mechanism assigns weights to vibration signals of varying dimensions.Second, the time series is transformed to obtain a three-channel time-frequency diagram. This diagram is input into the proposed dimension-segmentation cross-channel multihead self-attention framework to extract high-dimensional frequencydomain fault features. These features are concatenated with the time-domain features to obtain a global feature representation. Then, the extracted high-dimensional features are sent to the classification module to obtain the predicted labels for the source and target domains. Finally, after confidence filtering, the true labels from the source domain and the prediction labels from the target domain are fed into a dynamically weighted multilevel feature alignment module to promote proximity between similar fault features across domains while enhancing separation among different fault types. The validity and superiority of the proposed method were demonstrated through simulation experiments conducted on two types of manned escalator systems under multiple working conditions. For the most challenging transfer task, the proposed method achieved higher accuracy on the target domain test set than DANN,ADDA,C-CLCN,TFA-CCN,and TFA-LCN by 26.87%,24.72%,11.44%,28.94%,and 16.85%,respectively.

文摘Nonlinear equations systems(NESs)are widely used in real-world problems and they are difficult to solve due to their nonlinearity and multiple roots.Evolutionary algorithms(EAs)are one of the methods for solving NESs,given their global search capabilities and ability to locate multiple roots of a NES simultaneously within one run.Currently, the majority of research on using EAs to solve NESs focuses on transformation techniques and improving the performance of the used EAs.By contrast, problem domain knowledge of NESs is investigated in this study, where we propose the incorporation of a variable reduction strategy(VRS)into EAs to solve NESs.The VRS makes full use of the systems of expressing a NES and uses some variables(i.e.,core variable)to represent other variables(i.e.,reduced variables)through variable relationships that exist in the equation systems. It enables the reduction of partial variables and equations and shrinks the decision space, thereby reducing the complexity of the problem and improving the search efficiency of the EAs.To test the effectiveness of VRS in dealing with NESs,this paper mainly integrates the VRS into two existing state-of-the-art EA methods(i.e.,MONES and DR-JADE)according to the integration framework of the VRS and EA,respectively.Experimental results show that, with the assistance of the VRS,the EA methods can produce better results than the original methods and other compared methods.Furthermore, extensive experiments regarding the influence of different reduction schemes and EAs substantiate that a better EA for solving a NES with more reduced variables tends to provide better performance.

文摘In this paper we introduce two kinds of parallel Schwarz domain decomposition me thods for general, selfadjoint, second order parabolic equations and study the dependence of their convergence rates on parameters of time-step and space-mesh. We prove that the, approximate solution has convergence independent of iteration times at each time-level. And the L^2 error estimates are given.

文摘Based on the full domain partition, a parallel finite element algorithm for the stationary Stokes equations is proposed and analyzed. In this algorithm, each subproblem is defined in the entire domain. Majority of the degrees of freedom are associated with the relevant subdomain. Therefore, it can be solved in parallel with other subproblems using an existing sequential solver without extensive recoding. This allows the algorithm to be implemented easily with low communication costs. Numerical results are given showing the high efficiency of the parallel algorithm.

文摘We introduced the work on parallel problem solvers from physics and biology being developed by the research team at the State Key Laboratory of Software Engineering,Wuhan University. Results on parallel solvers include the following areas:Evolutionary algorithms based on imitating the evolution processes of nature for parallel problem solving, especially for parallel optimization and model-building;Asynchronous parallel algorithms based on domain decomposition which are inspired by physical analogies such as elastic relaxation process and annealing process, for scientific computations, especially for solving nonlinear mathematical physics problems. All these algorithms have the following common characteristics:inherent parallelism,self-adaptation and self-organization,because the basic ideas of these solvers are from imitating the natural evolutionary processes.
文摘A domain extension algorithm to correct the comparator offsets of pipeline analog-to-digital converters (ADCs) is presented, in which the 1.5-bit/stage ADC quantify domain is extended from a three-domain to a five-domain. This algorithm is designed for high speed and low comparator accuracy application. The comparator offset correction ability is improved. This new approach also promises significant improvements to the spurious-free dynamic range (SFDR), the total harmonic distortion (THD), the signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) and the minor analog and digital circuit modifications. Behavioral simulation results are presented to demonstrate the effectiveness of the algorithm, in which all absolute values of comparator offsets are set to |3Vref/8|. SFDR, THD and SNR are improved, from 34.62-dB, 34.63-dB and 30.33-dB to 60.23-dB, 61.14-dB and 59.35-dB, respectively, for a 10-bit pipeline ADC.
