For the spin particles the problem with the magnetic field is that it introduces a singularity into wave equation at the origin. A physical motivation is to replace the zero radius flux tube by one of radius R, with the additional condition that the magnetic field be confined to the surface of the tube, and then taking the limit R → 0 at the end of the computations. We point that the invariant operator must contain the step function θ(r - R). Consequently, the problem becomes more complicated. In order to avoid this dimculty, we replace the radius R by ρ(t)R, where ρ(t) is a positive time-dependent function. Then at the end of calculations we take the limit R →0. The qualitative properties for the invariant operator spectrum are described separately for the different values of the parameter C appearing in the nonlinear auxiliary equation satisfied by p(t), i.e., C 〉 0, C = 0, and C 〈0. Following the C's values the spectrum of quantum states is discrete (C 〉 0) or continuous (C ≤ 0).展开更多

Based on the features ofreservoir temperatures and densities of hot springs, the northern segment of the Red River Fault is furtherdivided into 4 sub-segments. The influence of weakening effect of water on seismic activities is discussed fromthe view point of fault-weakening effect of water. It is suggested that the difference in seismic activity between various sub-segments is principally caused by the difference in intensity of the fault-weakening effect ofwater of these sub-segments. The Eryuan sub-segment where the reservoir temperatures are high and the hotsprings are dense corresponds to a slipped region, however, the Jianchuan and Midu sub-segments where thereservoir temperatures are lower and the hot springs are fewer as well as the Dan sub-segment where the hotspring are very few all correspond to locked regions. The oscillations and decay of the wave packet on the adiabats as a function of time are given, which can be compared with the femtosecond transition-state (FTS) spectroscopy. The photo-absorption spectra and the kinetic-energy distribution of the dissociation fragments, which can exhibit the vibration-level structure and the dispersion of the wave packet, respectively, are also obtained. The investigation shows a blue shift of the band center for the photo-absorption spectrum and multiple peaks in the kinetic-energy spectrum with increasing laser intensity, which can be attributed to external field effects. The effects of str...A two dimensional model approach for the photodetachment dynamics of closed shell an-ionic systems in presence of external light field have been proposed in the context of polar environmental media. The effects of strong coupling between the solvent polarization and the extra charge in the system were studied by a simple model. The electronic states of con-cerned halide ions are represented by a two dimensional model Hamiltonian with a potential V(x,y)=-V0e^-σ(x^2+y^2). The time dependent Fourier grid Hamiltonian method have been used to follow the detachment process with fairly high intensities of light. The environmental effects on the dynamics are sought to be modeled by two different ways. The first one was the presence of polar solvents which perturb the energy levels of anionic systems by changing the effective potential surface and the second one was allowing the fluctuation of the well depth randomly to mimic the system in a more realistic view point. The average detachment rate constant is calculated as a function of important parameters of the used light field to explain the effects of solvent field on the dynamical behavior of dipole bound anionic system at least in a qualitative way.展开更多

The calculated results obtained from TDDFT suggest that the red-shifts of the absorption spectra of these two fluorophores in methanol are due to the formation of hydrogen-bonded complexes at the ground state. Four conformers of PTZ4 were obtained by TDDFT. The two fluorescence peaks of PTZ4 in tetrahydrofuran (THF) came from the ICT states of the four conformers. The fluorescence of PTZ4 in THF showed a dependence on the excitation wavelength because of butterfly bending. The excited state dynamics of PTZ4 in THF and methanol were obtained by transient absorption spectroscopy. The lifetime of the excited PTZ4 in methanol was 53.8 ps, and its relaxation from the LE state to the ICT state was completed within several picoseconds. The short lifetime of excited PTZ4 in methanol was due to the formation of out-of-plane model hydrogen bonds between PTZ4 and methanol at the excited state.展开更多

文摘UV-B(280-320 nm)sunscreening is crucial for lives on Earth.Examining the role of surrounding of UV-B ter understand UV-B absorption.screening molecules can help us better is ubiquitous in cells as the solvent, but its impacts on UV-B absorption of sunscreen agents are underexplored.Herein,we report a firstprinciple study on UV-B absorption of sinapate malate(SM)and rele vant molecular species, with a focus on the solvent effect of water. The capability of UV-B screening by anions of SM,the proposed species for actual sunscreening,is shaped by water. Both the implicit water providing the dielectric environment of solvation and the explicit water molecules forming hydrogen bonding to SM anion can appreciably alter the nature of transition orbitals responsible to the UV-B absorption of the anion. Finally,we find the molecular dipole moment of an organic UV-B screening agent can be an indicator of its UV-B screening sensitivity to the surrounding water. Our work may serve as a starting point of developing new water-soluble UV-B screening agent.
文摘A two dimensional model approach for the photodetachment dynamics of closed shell an-ionic systems in presence of external light field have been proposed in the context of polar environmental media. The average detachment rate constant is calculated as a function of important parameters of the used light field to explain the effects of solvent field on the dynamical behavior of dipole bound anionic system at least in a qualitative way.
文摘Time-dependent density functional theory (TDDFT) and femtosecond transient absorption spectroscopy were used to investigate the photophysical properties of 2,3-dihydro-3-keto-lH- pyrido[3,2,1-kl]phenothiazine (PTZ4) and 3-keto-lH-pyrido[3,2,1-kl]phenothiazine (PTZ5). The short lifetime of excited PTZ4 in methanol was due to the formation of out-of-plane model hydrogen bonds between PTZ4 and methanol at the excited state.
