In contrast with related works, only the most fundamental requ...The problem of prescribed performance tracking control for unknown time-delay nonlinear systems subject to output constraints is dealt with in this paper. In contrast with related works, only the most fundamental requirements, i.e., boundedness and the local Lipschitz condition, are assumed for the allowable time delays. Moreover, we focus on the case where the reference is unknown beforehand, which renders the standard prescribed performance control designs under output constraints infeasible. To conquer these challenges, a novel robust prescribed performance control approach is put forward in this paper.Herein, a reverse tuning function is skillfully constructed and automatically generates a performance envelop for the tracking error. In addition, a unified performance analysis framework based on proof by contradiction and the barrier function is established to reveal the inherent robustness of the control system against the time delays. It turns out that the system output tracks the reference with a preassigned settling time and good accuracy,without constraint violations. A comparative simulation on a two-stage chemical reactor is carried out to illustrate the above theoretical findings.展开更多

In sharp contrast to previous works, the considered systems possess two important characteristics: (i) The uncertain nonlinear terms meet the linearly unmeasurable-states dependent growth with the growth rate being an unknown function of the input and output. (ii) There exist input matching uncertainty and unknown measurement sensitivity. By introducing a single dynamic gain and employing a cleverly devised event-triggering mechanism (ETM), we design a new gain-based event-triggered output-feedback controller, which globally regulates all states of the considered systems and maintains global boundedness of the closed-loop system. Furthermore, the estimation of input matching uncertainty achieves convergence towards its actual value, and Zeno behavior does not happen. This paper aims to explore and quantify the nonlinear vibration response of tri-directional functionally graded sandwich(3D-FGSW)plates partially supported by a Pasternak foundation(PF)subjected to blast loading(BL).A...This paper aims to explore and quantify the nonlinear vibration response of tri-directional functionally graded sandwich(3D-FGSW)plates partially supported by a Pasternak foundation(PF)subjected to blast loading(BL).A key objective is to develop a computationally efficient finite element framework capable of accurately capturing the complex behavior of 3D-FGSW plates.The studied configuration features a two-dimensional functionally graded material(2D-FGM)core between two threedimensional functionally graded material(3D-FGM)face layers.Nonlinear geometric effects,including mid-plane stretching,are modeled using von K arm an-type assumptions,and the governing equations are formulated via Hamilton's principle within an improved first-order shear deformation theory(iFSDT).The accuracy and computational efficiency of the proposed method are validated through comparison with existing benchmark solutions.Subsequently,a comprehensive parametric study is carried out to examine the effects of geometric dimensions,material properties,foundation sizes,and boundary conditions(BCs)on the nonlinear vibration of 3D-FGSW plates.The findings of this work are expected to provide valuable insights for the design and manufacturing of advanced sandwich structures subjected to BL.展开更多

We present a novel nonlinear state transition model for inositol 1,4,5-trisphosphate receptors(IP_(3)Rs)that incorporates a pre-activated state,as suggested by electron microscopy observations.Our model provides a the...We present a novel nonlinear state transition model for inositol 1,4,5-trisphosphate receptors(IP_(3)Rs)that incorporates a pre-activated state,as suggested by electron microscopy observations.Our model provides a theoretical framework for the biphasic Ca^(2+)dependence of IP_(3)Rs and accurately reproduces their experimentally observed state distribution under saturating IP_(3) conditions.By integrating receptor dynamics with cytoplasmic and endoplasmic reticulum(ER)calcium exchange,we simulate IP_(3)R-mediated Ca^(2+)oscillations governed by six key conformational states.A pivotal finding is that IP_(3)regulates these oscillations in a switch-like manner:once a critical IP_(3) concentration is reached,the system abruptly transitions to sustained,constant-amplitude oscillations that quickly terminate when the concentration exceeds a secondary threshold.These results underscore the crucial role of the pre-activated state in modulating calcium signaling.展开更多
One of the most significant challenges in commercializing organic second-order nonlinear optical(NLO)materials lies in the inherent trade-off between nonlinearity and stability.A key factor in mitigating this compromi...One of the most significant challenges in commercializing organic second-order nonlinear optical(NLO)materials lies in the inherent trade-off between nonlinearity and stability.A key factor in mitigating this compromise is achieving precise temporal synchronization between the formation of the cross-linked network and the establishment of an optimal non-centrosymmetric alignment of the chromophores.Guided by this principle,we developed a series of NLO polymers incorporating multiple ether chains with low rotational energy barriers,which facilitate molecular reorientation during electric field poling,thereby enhancing the NLO response effectively.Combined with an optimized photocrosslinking strategy,the resulting PX4o/PETMP doped film achieved large macroscopic NLO coefficient of 190 pm·V^(-1)and thermal degradation temperature as high as 120℃.This work offers a universal approach to alleviating the“nonlinearity-stability”trade-off in a wide range of polymeric systems.展开更多

Temporal alignment of multisensor time series(MTS)is a critical prerequisite for accurate modeling and optimal control in subsequent data-driven applications.Nevertheless,many approaches frequently neglect to consider...Temporal alignment of multisensor time series(MTS)is a critical prerequisite for accurate modeling and optimal control in subsequent data-driven applications.Nevertheless,many approaches frequently neglect to consider the complex interdependencies between different sensors in MTS,and temporal alignment in many methods is typically treated as an isolated task disconnected from the downstream objectives,leading to unsatisfactory performances in follow-up applications.To address these challenges,this paper proposes a novel knowledge graph(KG)-guided iterative-updating graph neural network(GNN)for time-delay estimation(TDE)in MTS.Initially,a domain-specific KG is constructed from domain mechanism knowledge,providing a foundation for GNN's initialization.Next,capitalizing on the inherent structure of the graph topology,a GNN-based TDE method is developed.Then,a customized loss function is constructed,which synthesizes both the performances of downstream tasks and graph-based constraints.Moreover,an innovative algorithm for GNN structure learning and iterative-updating is proposed to renovate the graph structure further.Finally,experimental results across various regression and classification tasks on numerical simulation,public datasets,and the real blast furnace ironmaking dataset demonstrate that the proposed method can achieve accurate temporal alignment of MTS.展开更多

文摘This paper is concerned with the following nonlinear Steklov problemΔu=0 in D,∂vu=λf(u)on∂D,where D is the unit disk in the plane,∂v denotes the unit outward normal derivative.For each k∈N,under some natural conditions on f,using the Crandall-Rabinowitz bifurcation theorem,we obtain a bifurcation curve emanating from(k,0).Furthermore,we also analyze the local structure of bifurcation curves and stability of solutions on them.Specifically,our results indicate the bifurcation is critical for each k and is subcritical(supercritical)if f'''(0)>0(f'''(0)<0).

文摘In this paper,the dynamics of a Leslie-Gower predator-prey model with weak nonlin-ear harvesting and prey-taxis is discussed.By comparing and analyzing the differences between ordinary differential systems and chemotaxis systems in the stability of equilibrium points,the influence mechanism of chemotaxis on the dynamic behavior of the system is deeply studied.Theoretical analysis shows that chemotaxis significantly changes the stability characteristics of the system,and the reliability of theoretical results is further verified by numerical simulation.
文摘This paper aims to explore and quantify the nonlinear vibration response of tri-directional functionally graded sandwich(3D-FGSW)plates partially supported by a Pasternak foundation(PF)subjected to blast loading(BL).A key objective is to develop a computationally efficient finite element framework capable of accurately capturing the complex behavior of 3D-FGSW plates.The studied configuration features a two-dimensional functionally graded material(2D-FGM)core between two threedimensional functionally graded material(3D-FGM)face layers.Nonlinear geometric effects,including mid-plane stretching,are modeled using von K arm an-type assumptions,and the governing equations are formulated via Hamilton's principle within an improved first-order shear deformation theory(iFSDT).The accuracy and computational efficiency of the proposed method are validated through comparison with existing benchmark solutions.Subsequently,a comprehensive parametric study is carried out to examine the effects of geometric dimensions,material properties,foundation sizes,and boundary conditions(BCs)on the nonlinear vibration of 3D-FGSW plates.The findings of this work are expected to provide valuable insights for the design and manufacturing of advanced sandwich structures subjected to BL.

文摘The bipartite containment control problem for heterogeneous nonlinear multi-agent systems(HNMASs)within multi-group networks under signed digraphs is investigated,where the first-order and second-order nonlinear dynamic agents belong to distinct groups.Interactions are cooperative-antagonistic within each group and sign-in-degree balanced across the inter-groups.Firstly,a state feedback control protocol is designed to ensure that the trajectories of followers in diverse groups can converge to distinct convex hulls formed by their corresponding leaders,respectively.As an extension,the bipartite control problem with time-variant formation for the multi-agent system(MAS)is also considered,and a corresponding control protocol with formation compensation vectors is given.Finally,in view of Lyapunov stability theory and matrix inequality,the sufficient conditions for realizing the bipartite containment control are obtained,and several simulations are provided to verify the validity of the above methods.
文摘This paper addresses the synchronization of follower agents’state vectors with that of a leader in high-order nonlinear multi-agent systems.The proposed low-complexity control scheme employs high-gain observers to estimate higher-order synchronization errors,enabling the controller to rely solely on relative output measurements.This approach significantly reduces the dependence on full-state information,which is often infeasible or costly in practical engineering applications.An output feedback control strategy is developed to overcome these limitations while ensuring robust and effective synchronization.Simulation results are provided to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed approach and validate the theoretical findings.

文摘We present a novel nonlinear state transition model for inositol 1,4,5-trisphosphate receptors(IP_(3)Rs)that incorporates a pre-activated state,as suggested by electron microscopy observations.Our model provides a theoretical framework for the biphasic Ca^(2+)dependence of IP_(3)Rs and accurately reproduces their experimentally observed state distribution under saturating IP_(3) conditions.By integrating receptor dynamics with cytoplasmic and endoplasmic reticulum(ER)calcium exchange,we simulate IP_(3)R-mediated Ca^(2+)oscillations governed by six key conformational states.A pivotal finding is that IP_(3)regulates these oscillations in a switch-like manner:once a critical IP_(3) concentration is reached,the system abruptly transitions to sustained,constant-amplitude oscillations that quickly terminate when the concentration exceeds a secondary threshold.These results underscore the crucial role of the pre-activated state in modulating calcium signaling.

文摘One of the most significant challenges in commercializing organic second-order nonlinear optical(NLO)materials lies in the inherent trade-off between nonlinearity and stability.A key factor in mitigating this compromise is achieving precise temporal synchronization between the formation of the cross-linked network and the establishment of an optimal non-centrosymmetric alignment of the chromophores.Guided by this principle,we developed a series of NLO polymers incorporating multiple ether chains with low rotational energy barriers,which facilitate molecular reorientation during electric field poling,thereby enhancing the NLO response effectively.Combined with an optimized photocrosslinking strategy,the resulting PX4o/PETMP doped film achieved large macroscopic NLO coefficient of 190 pm·V^(-1)and thermal degradation temperature as high as 120℃.This work offers a universal approach to alleviating the“nonlinearity-stability”trade-off in a wide range of polymeric systems.

文摘The goal of this paper is to investigate the long-time dynamics of solutions to a Kirchhoff type suspension bridge equation with nonlinear damping and memory term.For this problem we establish the well-posedness and existence of uniform attractor under some suitable assumptions on the nonlinear term g(u),the nonlinear damping f(u_(t))and the external force h(x,t).Specifically,the asymptotic compactness of the semigroup is verified by the energy reconstruction method.

文摘Temporal alignment of multisensor time series(MTS)is a critical prerequisite for accurate modeling and optimal control in subsequent data-driven applications.Nevertheless,many approaches frequently neglect to consider the complex interdependencies between different sensors in MTS,and temporal alignment in many methods is typically treated as an isolated task disconnected from the downstream objectives,leading to unsatisfactory performances in follow-up applications.To address these challenges,this paper proposes a novel knowledge graph(KG)-guided iterative-updating graph neural network(GNN)for time-delay estimation(TDE)in MTS.Initially,a domain-specific KG is constructed from domain mechanism knowledge,providing a foundation for GNN's initialization.Next,capitalizing on the inherent structure of the graph topology,a GNN-based TDE method is developed.Then,a customized loss function is constructed,which synthesizes both the performances of downstream tasks and graph-based constraints.Moreover,an innovative algorithm for GNN structure learning and iterative-updating is proposed to renovate the graph structure further.Finally,experimental results across various regression and classification tasks on numerical simulation,public datasets,and the real blast furnace ironmaking dataset demonstrate that the proposed method can achieve accurate temporal alignment of MTS.

文摘We investigate the constrained fractional Choquard equation■where m>0,N>2s with s∈(0,1)being the order of the fractional Laplacian operator and I_(α)forα∈(0,N)denotes the Riesz potential.The parameterμ∈ℝappears as a Lagrange multiplier.By imposing general mass-supercritical conditions on F,we confirm the existence of normalized solutions that characterize the global minimizer on the Pohozaev manifold.Our proof does not depend on the assumption that all weak solutions satisfy the Pohozaev identity,a challenge that remains unsolved for this doubly nonlocal equation.
