Analog rise-time discriminator for CdZnTe detector

Due to variable time for charge collection,energy resolution of nuclear detectors declines,especially compound semiconductor detectors like cadmium zinc telluride(CdZnTe) detector.To solve this problem,an analog rise-time discriminator based on charge comparison principle is designed.The reference charge signal after attenuation is compared with the deconvoluted and delayed current signal.It is found that the amplitude of delayed current signal is higher than that of the reference charge signal when rise time of the input signal is shorter than the discrimination time,thus generating gating signal and triggering DMCA(digital multi-channel analyzer) to receive the total integral charge signal.When rise time of the input signal is longer than discrimination time,DMCA remains inactivated and the corresponding total integral charge signal is abandoned.Test results show that combination of the designed rise-time discriminator and DMCA can reduce hole tailing of CdZnTe detector significantly.Energy resolution of the system is 0.98%@662 keV,and it is still excellent under high counting rates. 展开更多

The PICOSEC Micromegas(MM)is a precise timing gaseous detector based on a Cherenkov radiator coupled with a semi-transparent photocathode and an MM amplifying structure.It features a two-stage amplification process that leads to a significant deterioration of non-uniformity when scaling up to larger areas.Since the performance of gaseous detectors is highly dependent on the choice of working gas,optimizing the gas mixture offers a promising solution to improve the uniformity performance.This paper addresses these challenges through a combined approach of simulation based on Garfield++and experimental studies.The simulation investigates the properties of different mixing fractions of gas mixtures and their impact on detector performance,including gain uniformity and time resolution.To verify the simulation results,experimental tests were conducted using a multi-channel PICOSEC MM prototype with different gas mixtures.The experimental results are consistent with the findings of the simulation,indicating that a higher concentration of neon significantly improves the detector’s gain uniformity.Furthermore,the influence of gas mixtures on time resolution was explored as a critical performance indicator.The study presented in this paper offers valuable insights for improving uniformity in large-area PICOSEC MM detectors and optimizing overall performance. 展开更多

报道了一种基于调制输入信号频率,进行MEMS热电堆红外探测器频率响应测试的方法。与传统频率响应测试相比,对于已封装的探测器,不需要已知吸收区面积或破坏封装进行器件吸收区面积的测量,直接记录待测器件的输出电压,简化操作流程,提高... 报道了一种基于调制输入信号频率,进行MEMS热电堆红外探测器频率响应测试的方法。与传统频率响应测试相比,对于已封装的探测器,不需要已知吸收区面积或破坏封装进行器件吸收区面积的测量,直接记录待测器件的输出电压,简化操作流程,提高测试效率。将探测器等效为一阶热—电系统,通过正弦谐波信号调制红外辐射,采集输出电压幅值,对数据归一化处理,利用线性系统理论拟合并定位-3 dB截止频率点,直接解算响应时间。实验结果表明,新方法测得的响应时间(8.38~9.52 ms)与传统响应率/频率曲线法结果(8.37~9.69 ms)高度吻合,最大偏差仅1.8%,保证测试精度,且测试器件完好,支持器件重复测试多次,为MEMS热电堆红外探测器动态性能测试开辟了新路径。 展开更多

闪烁体作为将高能辐射转化为光信号的关键材料,其上升沿时间直接影响探测系统的时间分辨率,对于X射线自由电子激光(XFEL)设施中的脉冲诊断与束流监测,以及飞行时间正电子发射断层扫描(TOF-PET)等前沿领域至关重要。本工作旨在深入探讨... 闪烁体作为将高能辐射转化为光信号的关键材料,其上升沿时间直接影响探测系统的时间分辨率,对于X射线自由电子激光(XFEL)设施中的脉冲诊断与束流监测,以及飞行时间正电子发射断层扫描(TOF-PET)等前沿领域至关重要。本工作旨在深入探讨闪烁体上升沿这一核心时间性能参数的重要性及其现有测量技术的瓶颈,并提出一种创新的高精度测量方案。研究利用355 nm皮秒脉冲激光,通过分光将光束分为触发光路与激发光路,并耦合光谱仪进行单色光选择,有效克服了激光脉冲抖动和弱荧光信号采集难题。实验测得,相比LYSO∶Ce闪烁体的上升时间为(273.7±26.9)ps,新兴的CsPbCl_(3)全无机钙钛矿闪烁体展现出低至(209.6±6.7)ps的超快上升时间,而衰减时间仅为(663.4±34.2)ps。这一百皮秒级的上升时间与超快响应特性,揭示了CsPbCl_(3)在吉赫兹高重频超快探测器领域的巨大潜力,为同步辐射和自由电子激光装置诊断提供了关键技术支撑,也为下一代超快闪烁体的筛选优化提供了关键方法与物理数据。 展开更多

耕地“非粮化”遥感提取研究——以唐山丰南区为例

为提高耕地“非粮化”图斑的提取效率和准确度,本研究以唐山市丰南区为例,基于谷歌地球引擎(GEE)平台,利用2019—2022年耕地数据,结合农作物数据集、农作物物候特征和农作物时间序列检测器等获取农作物样本点,通过Sentinel-2和Sentinel-... 为提高耕地“非粮化”图斑的提取效率和准确度,本研究以唐山市丰南区为例,基于谷歌地球引擎(GEE)平台,利用2019—2022年耕地数据,结合农作物数据集、农作物物候特征和农作物时间序列检测器等获取农作物样本点,通过Sentinel-2和Sentinel-1长时序遥感数据构建农作物分类特征集,采用随机森林算法进行农作物分类后提取非粮作物图斑。结果表明:在进行农作物分类时,通过分析不同种类农作物NDVI和MNDWI时间序列差异,验证随机样本点,提取用于分类的样本集,最终得到了精度较高的农作物分类结果。研究期间农作物分类结果的总体精度均大于91%,Kappa系数均大于0.87,各年提取得到的非粮作物面积与统计数据的相对误差均小于1.5%,非粮作物提取精度较高。2019—2022年,丰南区西部乡镇非粮作物种植较多,且占比较高。研究方法对于无法获取实地样本点的历史年份,在提取非粮作物的种植范围时有较好适用性,且提取精度较高,可为耕地“非粮化”监管提供方法参考。 展开更多

响应时间是影响电阻温度计动态测量误差的关键因素。回路电流阶跃响应(LCSR)法可实现在役电阻温度计响应时间的原位测量,但其中热动态传热过程的变焦耳热和内外部影响因素、转换关系及阶数仍有待进一步研究。基于COMSOL Multiphysics软... 响应时间是影响电阻温度计动态测量误差的关键因素。回路电流阶跃响应(LCSR)法可实现在役电阻温度计响应时间的原位测量,但其中热动态传热过程的变焦耳热和内外部影响因素、转换关系及阶数仍有待进一步研究。基于COMSOL Multiphysics软件,建立多物理场耦合模型,实现LCSR中电流、温度场、外部流场的相互耦合和全过程仿真,重点讨论电阻丝变焦耳热产生机理。建立LCSR法与浸入法的转换关系式,LCSR动态响应曲线经三阶关系式转换,与浸入法对比,响应时间相对误差仅为1.51%。开展LCSR法响应时间影响因素研究,深入分析外部流体流速、内部填充材料与空气层对响应时间的影响。同步进行LCSR法和浸入法验证试验,对比表明:LCSR法响应时间仿真与试验结果的相对误差为2.46%;在3种流速下,LCSR试验数据经转换后的响应时间与浸入法试验结果的相对误差均小于5%,验证了建立的转换关系对试验结果的适用性。 展开更多

为解决四象限超导纳米线单光子探测器在高计数率条件下光子计数值失真及低信噪比条件下定位困难的问题,本文引入计数值非线性校正机制,推导校正后的高斯光斑定位解析解,提出非整数次幂运算和差定位的原创方法,通过指数n>1增强正负半... 为解决四象限超导纳米线单光子探测器在高计数率条件下光子计数值失真及低信噪比条件下定位困难的问题,本文引入计数值非线性校正机制,推导校正后的高斯光斑定位解析解,提出非整数次幂运算和差定位的原创方法,通过指数n>1增强正负半轴信号差异度,提高定位精度。研究结果表明:高计数率条件下,计数值校正可提升光斑定位的准确性;低信噪比条件下,非整数次幂运算可有效降低定位误差。相较经典的正负半轴差值定位法,当信噪比<10时,采用1.4次幂运算可将定位误差降低27%;当信噪比>50时,采用计数值校正的高斯模型可将定位误差降低70%。当光子计数值>10~4时,计数值校正的高斯模型法与指数0.8≤n≤2的幂运算方法的定位标准差均可小于0.01倍光斑半径。研究成果为实现四象限超导纳米线单光子探测器高精度光斑定位提供了有力支撑。 展开更多

时间投影室(Time Projection Chamber,TPC)是一种高效的粒子探测器,因其具备良好的粒子径迹追踪鉴别能力,被广泛应用于高能物理、核物理等诸多领域。中国原子能科学研究院核数据重点实验室研发了一款新型基于悬浮工艺微网探测器的时间... 时间投影室(Time Projection Chamber,TPC)是一种高效的粒子探测器,因其具备良好的粒子径迹追踪鉴别能力,被广泛应用于高能物理、核物理等诸多领域。中国原子能科学研究院核数据重点实验室研发了一款新型基于悬浮工艺微网探测器的时间投影室。为验证该型TPC的粒子径迹追踪能力及粒子鉴别能力,实验小组设计并开展了^(252)Cf自发裂变源的出射粒子径迹探测实验,通过霍夫变换的方法实现了对粒子三维径迹的识别,获得了裂变碎片与α粒子的径迹。实验结果表明,该型时间投影室能够有效捕捉裂变碎片和α粒子的出射径迹,重建三维粒子径迹并对二种粒子进行有效区分。这些成果为未来的相关研究奠定了坚实基础。 展开更多

Orbit optimization for ASTROD-GW and its time delay interferometry with two arms using CGC ephemeris 被引量:9

Astrodynamical space test of relativity using optical devices optimized for gravitation wave detection (ASTROD- GW) is an optimization of ASTROD to focus on the goal of detection of gravitation waves. The detection sensitivity is shifted 52 times toward larger wavelength compared with that of laser interferometer space antenna (LISA). The mission orbits of the three spacecrafts forming a nearly equilateral triangular array are chosen to be near the Sun–Earth Lagrange points L3, L4, and L5. The three spacecrafts range interferometrically with one another with an arm length of about 260 million kilometers. In order to attain the required sensitivity for ASTROD-GW, laser frequency noise must be suppressed to below the secondary noises such as the optical path noise, acceleration noise, etc. For suppressing laser frequency noise, we need to use time delay interferometry (TDI) to match the two different optical paths (times of travel). Since planets and other solar-system bodies perturb the orbits of ASTROD-GW spacecraft and affect the TDI, we simulate the time delay numerically using CGC 2.7 (here, CGC stands for center for gravitation and cosmology) ephemeris framework. To conform to the ASTROD-GW planning, we work out a set of 20-year optimized mission orbits of ASTROD-GW spacecraft starting at June 21, 2028, and calculate the differences in optical path in the first and second generation TDIs separately for one-detector case. In our optimized mission orbits of 20 years, changes of arm lengths are less than 0.0003 AU; the relative Doppler velocities are all less than 3m/s. All the second generation TDI for one-detector case satisfies the ASTROD-GW requirement. 展开更多

ASTROD-GW (ASTROD [astrodynamical space test of relativity using optical devices] optimized for gravitational wave detection) is a gravitational-wave mission with the aim of detecting gravitational waves from massive black holes, extreme mass ratio inspirais (EMRIs) and galactic compact binaries together with testing relativistic gravity and probing dark energy and cosmology. Mission orbits of the 3 spacecrafts forming a nearly equilateral triangular array are chosen to be near the Sun-Earth Lagrange points L3, L4, and L5. The 3 space, crafts range interferometrically with one another with arm length about 260 million kilometers. For 260 times longer arm length, the detection sensitivity of ASTROD- GW is 260 fold better than that of eLISA/NGO in the lower frequency region by assuming the same acceleration noise. Therefore, ASTROD-GW will be a better cosmological probe. In previous papers, we have worked out the time delay interferometry (TDI) for the ecliptic formation. To resolve the reflection ambiguity about the ecliptic plane in source position determination, we have changed the basic formation into slightly inclined formation with half-year precessionperiod. In this paper, we optimize a set of 10-year inclined ASTROD-GW mission orbits numerically using ephemeris framework starting at June 21, 2035, including cases of inclination angle with 0° (no inclination), 0.5°, 1.0°, 1.5°, 2.0°, 2.5°, and 3.0°. We simulate the time delays of the first and second generation TDI configurations for the different inclinations, and compare/analyse the numerical results to attain the requisite sensitivity of ASTROD-GW by suppressing laser frequency noise below the secondary noises. To explicate our calculation process for different inclination cases, we take the 1.0° as an example to show the orbit optimization and TDI simulation. 展开更多

A foil–microchannel plate(MCP)detector,which uses electrostatic lenses and possesses both good position and timing resolutions,has been designed and simulated for beam diagnostics and mass measurements at the next-generation heavy-ion-beam facility HIAF in China.Characterized by low energy loss and good performances of timing and position measurements,it would be located at focal planes in fragment separator HFRS for position monitoring,beam turning,Bq measurement,and trajectory reconstruction.Moreover,it will benefit the building-up of a magnetic-rigidity–energy-loss–time-offlight(BqDETOF)method at HFRS for high-precision in-flight particle identification of radioactive isotope beams on an event-by-event basis.Most importantly,the detector can be utilized for in-ring TOF and position measurements,beam-line TOF measurements at two achromatic foci,and position measurements at a dispersive focus of HFRS,thus making it possible to use two complementary mass measurement methods[isochronous mass spectrometry at the storage ring SRing and magnetic-rigidity–time-of-flight(BqTOF)at the beam-line HFRS]in one single experimental run. 展开更多

The study presents a new method to predict crash likelihood with traffic data collected by discrete loop detectors as well as the web-crawl weather data. Matched case-control method and support vector machines (SVMs) technique were employed to identify the risk status. The adaptive synthetic over-sampling technique was applied to solve the imbalanced dataset issues. Random forest technique was applied to select the contributing factors and avoid the over-fitting issues. The results indicate that the SVMs classifier could successfully classify 76.32% of the crashes on the test dataset and 87.52% of the crashes on the overall dataset, which were relatively satisfactory compared with the results of the previous studies. Compared with the SVMs classifier without the data, the SVMs classifier with the web-crawl weather data increased the crash prediction accuracy by 1.32% and decreased the false alarm rate by 1.72%, showing the potential value of the massive web weather data. Mean impact value method was employed to evaluate the variable effects, and the results are identical with the results of most of previous studies. The emerging technique based on the discrete traffic data and web weather data proves to be more applicable on real- time safety management on freeways. 展开更多

The readout electronics for a prototype soft X-ray spectrometer based on silicon drift detector(SDD),for precisely measuring the energy and arrival time of X-ray photons is presented in this paper.The system mainly consists of two parts,i.e.,an analog electronics section(including a pre-amplifier,a signal shaper and filter,a constant fraction timing circuit,and a peak hold circuit)and a digital electronics section(including an ADC and a TDC).Test results with X-ray sources show that an energy dynamic range of 1-10 keV with an integral nonlinearity of less than 0.1%can be achieved,and the energy resolution is better than 160 eV @ 5.9 keV FWHM.Using a waveform generator,test results also indicate that time resolution of the electronics system is about 3.7 ns,which is much less than the transit time spread of SDD(<100 ns)and satisfies the requirements of future applications. 展开更多

Combining wavelet neural networks and two matched filters, the novel multiuser detector, which is based on multiple variable function estimation wavelet networks over single path asynchronous channel and space-time channel respectively is presented. Excellent localization characteristics of wavelet functions in both time and frequency domains allowed hierarchical multiple resolution learning of input-output data mapping. The ma thematic frame of the neural networks and error back ward propagation algorithm are introduced. The complexity of the multiuser detector only depends on that of wavelet networks. With numerical simulations and performance analysis, it indicates that the multiuser detector has excellent performance in eliminating MAI and near-far resistance. 展开更多

甘南黄河上游植被覆盖度在维持高寒生态系统结构稳定和涵养水源等方面发挥着重要的作用,探究植被覆盖度的时空变化及其与地形因子的关系,揭示其植被的时空分布规律,可以更好地理解高寒植被生态系统的动态和功能,为维护生态平衡及植被恢... 甘南黄河上游植被覆盖度在维持高寒生态系统结构稳定和涵养水源等方面发挥着重要的作用,探究植被覆盖度的时空变化及其与地形因子的关系,揭示其植被的时空分布规律,可以更好地理解高寒植被生态系统的动态和功能,为维护生态平衡及植被恢复提供理论支持。本文基于甘南黄河上游1990—2020年4期Landsat影像及数字高程模型(Digital Elevation Model,DEM)数据,采用像元二分模型、叠加分析、地理探测器等方法,对研究区域的植被覆盖度时空变化及其地形因子的相关性进行研究。结果表明:(1)1990—2020年甘南黄河上游地区的植被覆盖度经历了从退化到恢复,再到显著提升的过程;研究区中高植被覆盖度(0.6~0.8)所占的比例最多,占总面积的77.68%。(2)1990—2020年研究区植被覆盖度呈现出显著的改善趋势,其中,植被覆盖度改善的区域(Slope>0)约占总面积的91.26%,远大于退化区域(Slope<0)的面积。(3)地形因子对植被覆盖度的解释力存在显著差异,海拔是植被覆盖度的主要驱动因子,坡度、坡向和海拔等地形因子交互作用的解释力高于单因子。(4)研究区的植被覆盖度随海拔和坡度的增加都呈先上升后下降的单峰模式;南坡植被覆盖度最高,东北坡相对较低,在时间序列上北到西南方向植被覆盖度面积呈现萎缩状态,而西南、西及西北方向的面积在增大。研究结果可为甘南黄河上游生态保护及高质量发展提供科学支撑。 展开更多
