An algorithm for precisely calculating the inductance of a three-section solenoid is presented, which is based on summing the layer self-inductances and the mutual inductances. A theoretical model with ex plicit expressions is firstly developed to calculate the self-inductance of a single layer, and then numerical calcu lation of the mutual inductance between two layers is introduced. Using the presented computation method, the inductance of a solenoid designed in the experiment is successfully calculated (4.30 mH), which has a difference of less than 1% from the experimental data. 展开更多

This paper introduces a practical solving scheme of gradetransition trajectory optimization(GTTO) problems under typical certificate-checking–updating framework. Due to complicated kinetics of polymerization,differential/algebraic equations(DAEs) always cause great computational burden and system non-linearity usually makes GTTO non-convex bearing multiple optima. Therefore, coupled with the three-stage decomposition model, a three-section algorithm of dynamic programming(TSDP) is proposed based on the general iteration mechanism of iterative programming(IDP) and incorporated with adaptivegrid allocation scheme and heuristic modifications. The algorithm iteratively performs dynamic programming with heuristic modifications under constant calculation loads and adaptively allocates the valued computational resources to the regions that can further improve the optimality under the guidance of local error estimates. TSDP is finally compared with IDP and interior point method(IP) to verify its efficiency of computation. 展开更多

Comparative analysis of elbow radiographic measurements in patients with supracondylar humerus fractures and healthy controls

BACKGROUND Supracondylar humeral fractures(SCHF)are the second most common fractures in childhood and can lead to short-and long-term complications.Despite their prevalence,the anatomical factors that predispose children to SCHF remain unclear.This study aimed to determine whether there are significant morpho-logical differences in the elbow by comparing the radiographic angular measure-ments of the contralateral elbows of patients with SCHF to those of patients with distal radius fractures(DRF)and a healthy control group.We sought to explore if these morphological variations contribute to the occurrence of SCHF.Radiographs of 78 SCHF patients were analyzed for angular measurements of the contralateral elbow.Two control groups were used:98 healthy children and 40 patients with DRF.Angular measurements included Baumann angle(BA),hu-meroulnar angle(HUA),humerus metaphysis-diaphysis angle(HMDA),humerus shaft-condylar angle(HSCA),and lateral capitellohumeral angle.Only BA,HUA,and HMDA were measured in the DRF group.Statistical analysis was performed to compare differences among groups.RESULTS Significant differences were found in elbow measurements between SCHF and control groups(P<0.05).However,the mean values for all groups fell within the ranges described in the literature.CONCLUSION While statistically significant differences were found in elbow morphology between SCHF patients and controls,these differences don't translate into clinically meaningful morphological deviations. 展开更多

Aimed at the S-elbow composed of two elbows with different radii, this article proposes a winding pattern design method combined with patch winding method and traditional winding method. It proposes an optimal combination of calculating the tangential point amount and skip point amount to make the pattern distribution even and keep the minimal adjusting angle. The S-elbow overall winding pattem plan and simulation module are designed to verify the combined winding pattern design method and the calculation algorithm of the tangential point amount and skip point amount. From the pattern distribution and the simula- tion effect analysis, it shows that this combined winding pattern design method is a good solution to the S-elbow combined winding pattern design. Aimed at the S-elbow winding pattern based on the patch winding method, it carries out the precision error analysis and points out the correspondence between the error and mesh size. Generally speaking, the bigger the mesh size is, the quicker the program calculation speed is; the smaller the mesh size is, the smaller the winding pattern error is. 展开更多

目的探讨血液透析患者前臂动静脉内瘘(AVF)失功能后建立肘部高位AVF的临床效果。方法选取2021年1月至2024年10月南通市第四人民医院血液净化中心收治的80例规律透析、前臂AVF失功能的患者作为研究对象,按照不同手术方法分为观察组与对照... 目的探讨血液透析患者前臂动静脉内瘘(AVF)失功能后建立肘部高位AVF的临床效果。方法选取2021年1月至2024年10月南通市第四人民医院血液净化中心收治的80例规律透析、前臂AVF失功能的患者作为研究对象,按照不同手术方法分为观察组与对照组,每组40例。观察组同侧建立肘部高位AVF,对照组同侧前臂重建AVF。两组患者术前均进行血管的物理检查和超声评估,比较两组患者的手术成功率、术后不同时间段AVF血流速度与透析充分性、术后AVF的并发症。结果观察组术后肘部高位AVF血管震颤和搏动可触及,且术后3个月未见肿胀手的发生,观察组手术成功率高于对照组,差异有统计学意义(P<0.05)。观察组术后即刻,术后3、6个月AVF的血流速度高于对照组,差异有统计学意义(P<0.05);两组患者术后即刻,术后3、6个月的尿素清除指数(Kt/V)组间与组内比较,差异无统计学意义(P>0.05)。两组患者随访3个月后均未出现术后短期并发症。结论血液透析患者前臂AVF失功能后建立肘部高位AVF手术成功率高,高位AVF术后血流速度充足确保了患者的透析充分性。 展开更多

A loop system was used to investigate the effect of flow velocity on corrosion behavior of AZ91 D magnesium alloy at an elbow of loop system based on array electrode technology by polarization, computational fluid dynamics(CFD) simulation and surface analysis. The experimental results showed that the corrosion rate increased with increasing flow velocity, and a critical flow velocity could exist in the corrosion of AZ91 D magnesium alloy. When flow velocity exceeded the critical flow velocity, fluid hydrodynamics was dominant in the corrosion of AZ91 D magnesium alloy. On the contrary, the electrochemical factors were dominant. 展开更多

AIM:To evaluate short-to medium term outcome of total elbow arthroplasty(TEA)in complex fractures of the distal humerus.METHODS:A consecutive series of 24 complex distal humerus fractures operated with TEA in the period2006-2012 was evaluated with the Mayo Elbow Performance score(MEPS),plain radiographs,complications and overall satisfaction.The indications for surgery were 1:AO type B3 or C3 or Sheffield type 3 fracture and age above 65 or 2:fracture and severe rheumatoid arthritis.Mean follow-up time was 21 mo.RESULTS:Twenty patients were followed up.Four patients,of which 3 had died,were lost to follow up.According to the AO classification there were 17 C3,1B2 and 2 A2 fractures.Mean follow-up was 21 months(range 4-54).Mean MEPS was 94(range 65-100).Mean flexion was 114 degrees(range 80-140).According to MEPS there were 15 excellent,4 good and 1 fair result.Patient satisfaction:8 excellent,10 good,2 fair and 1poor.There were two revisions due to infection treated successfully with revision and three months of antibiotics.In two patients the locking split had loosened.One was referred to re-insertion and one chose yearly con-trols.Two patients had persistent dysaesthesia of their5th finger,but were able to discriminate between sharp and blunt.CONCLUSION:Our study suggests that TEA in complex fractures of the distal humerus in elderly patients can result in acceptable short-to medium term outcome. 展开更多

Therapeu... Lateral epicondylitis is a relatively common clinical prob lem, easily recognized on palpation of the lateral protu berance on the elbow. Despite the "itis" suffix, it is no an inflammatory process. Therapeutic approaches with topical non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, cortico steroids and anesthetics have limited benefit, as would be expected if inflammation is not involved. Other ap proaches have included provision of healing cytokine from blood products or stem cells, based on the recog nition that this repetitive effort-derived disorder repre sents injury. Noting calcification/ossification of tendon attachments to the lateral epicondyle(enthesitis), dry needling, radiofrequency, shock wave treatments and surgical approaches have also been pursued. Physi ologic approaches, including manipulation, therapeuti ultrasound, phonophoresis, iontophoresis, acupuncture and exposure of the area to low level laser light, ha also had limited success. This contrasts with the benefi of a simple mechanical intervention, reducing the stres on the attachment area. This is based on displacemen of the stress by use of a thin(3/4-1 inch) band applied just distal to the epicondyle. Thin bands are required as thick bands(e.g., 2-3 inch wide) simply reduce mus cle strength, without significantly reducing stress. Thi approach appears to be associated with a failure rateless than 1%, assuming the afflicted individual modifies the activity that repeatedly stresses the epicondylar attachments. 展开更多

目的探讨低频脉冲电治疗联合标准化阶梯康复训练对肘关节尺骨鹰嘴骨折患者术后关节功能、疼痛程度及日常活动能力的影响。方法选取2023年1月至2025年6月天津市天津医院收治的尺骨鹰嘴骨折术后患者98例作为研究对象。运用随机数表法将患... 目的探讨低频脉冲电治疗联合标准化阶梯康复训练对肘关节尺骨鹰嘴骨折患者术后关节功能、疼痛程度及日常活动能力的影响。方法选取2023年1月至2025年6月天津市天津医院收治的尺骨鹰嘴骨折术后患者98例作为研究对象。运用随机数表法将患者分为观察组和对照组各49例。对照组患者接受常规护理以及标准化阶梯康复训练,观察组患者则在对照组基础上增加低频脉冲电治疗。比较两组干预前和干预4周、8周、12周后的Mayo肘关节功能评分(MEPS)、视觉模拟评分法(VAS)评分、肘关节活动度(ROM)及并发症发生率。结果干预4周后,两组患者的MEPS评分均较干预前升高,且观察组评分为(65.88±6.72)分,均高于对照组的(59.32±7.29)分,差异有统计学意义(P<0.05)。干预8周、12周后,两组患者的评分继续升高,且观察组为(88.45±7.13)分,高于对照组的(81.52±7.87)分,差异有统计学意义(P<0.05)。干预4周后,两组患者的VAS评分均较干预前下降,观察组为(3.12±0.87)分,低于对照组的(4.48±0.96)分,差异有统计学意义(P<0.05)。干预8周、12周后,两组患者的评分继续下降,且观察组为(1.36±0.21)分,低于对照组的(2.48±0.72)分,差异有统计学意义(P<0.05)。干预4周后,两组患者的肘关节屈曲、伸展活动度的绝对值均较干预前减小,观察组的绝对值[(95.67±11.23)°、(12.33±2.67)°]小于对照组[(85.44±12.15)°、(16.89±3.12)°],差异有统计学意义(P<0.05)。干预8周、12周后,两组患者的评分继续增大,且观察组[(128.56±9.87)°、(-6.78±1.45)°]大于对照组[(118.76±10.34)°、(-10.45±2.21)°],差异有统计学意义(P<0.05)。两组患者的并发症发生率差异无统计学意义(P>0.05)。结论低频脉冲电治疗联合标准化阶梯康复训练能有效缓解尺骨鹰嘴骨折术后患者疼痛,促进关节功能与活动度恢复,且安全性良好,是一种优于单一康复训练的综合康复方案。 展开更多

The mine heat harm could be resolvedor reduced by ice refrigeration. Thus, ice transportation through pipeline becomes a critical problem; typically flowresistance occurs in the elbow. In the present study, according to the analysis of the surface morphology of fish scale, abiomimetic functional surface structure for the interior wall of elbow is designed. Based on the theory of liquid-solid two phaseflow, a CFD numerical simulation of ice-water mixture flowing through the elbow is carried out using finite element method.Conventional experiments of pressure drop and flow resistance for both bionic and common elbows are conducted to test theeffect of the bionic elbow on flow resistance reduction. It is found that with the increase in the ice mass fraction in the ice-watermixture, the effect of bionic elbow on resistance reduction becomes more obvious. 展开更多

The medial ulnar collateral ligament complex of the elbow, which is comprised of the anterior bundle [AB, more formally referred to as the medial ulnar collateral ligament(MUCL)], posterior(PB), and transverse ligamen... The medial ulnar collateral ligament complex of the elbow, which is comprised of the anterior bundle [AB, more formally referred to as the medial ulnar collateral ligament(MUCL)], posterior(PB), and transverse ligament, is commonly injured in overhead throwing athletes. Attenuation or rupture of the ligament results in valgus instability with variable clinical presentations. The AB or MUCL is the strongest component of the ligamentous complex and the primary restraint to valgus stress. It is also composed of two separate bands(anterior and posterior) that provide reciprocal function with the anterior band tight in extension, and the posterior band tight in flexion. In individuals who fail co-mprehensive non-operative treatment, surgical repair or reconstruction of the MUCL is commonly required to restore elbow function and stability. A comprehensive understanding of the anatomy and biomechanical properties of the MUCL is imperative to optimize reconstructive efforts, and to enhance clinical and radiographic outcomes. Our understanding of the native anatomy and biomechanics of the MUCL has evolved over time. The precise locations of the origin and insertion footprint centers guide surgeons in proper graft placement with relation to bony anatomic landmarks. In recent studies, the ulnar insertion of the MUCL is described as larger than previously thought, with the center of the footprint at varying distances relative to the ulnar ridge, joint line, or sublime tubercle. The purpose of this review is to consolidate and summarize the existing literature regarding the native anatomy, biomechanical, and clinical significance of the entire medial ulnar collateral ligament complex, including the MUCL(AB), PB, and transverse ligament. 展开更多

目的:观察四轴三向复位法联合改良夹板固定对肱骨髁上骨折患儿肿痛程度及肘关节解剖结构关系的影响。方法:回顾性分析2022年5月—2024年11月中山陈星海中西医结合医院肱骨髁上骨折90例患儿的临床资料,按照治疗方案不同分为对照组和观察... 目的:观察四轴三向复位法联合改良夹板固定对肱骨髁上骨折患儿肿痛程度及肘关节解剖结构关系的影响。方法:回顾性分析2022年5月—2024年11月中山陈星海中西医结合医院肱骨髁上骨折90例患儿的临床资料,按照治疗方案不同分为对照组和观察组各45例。对照组给予手法复位微创穿针石膏固定,观察组给予四轴三向复位法联合改良夹板固定。比较2组术后住院时间、骨折愈合时间、骨折处肿痛程度、肘关节解剖结构关系、影像学参数、Mayo肘关节功能评分(MEPS)、优良率及并发症发生率。结果:治疗后,观察组骨折愈合时间及术后住院时间均短于对照组,差异有统计学意义(P<0.05)。术后1天,2组肿胀程度、疼痛VAS评分比较,差异无统计学意义(P>0.05);术后3、7、14天,2组肿胀程度、疼痛VAS评分均呈先升高后下降趋势。术后14天,2组肿胀程度均较术后1天下降,且观察组肿胀程度低于对照组(P<0.05);观察组VAS评分较术后1天降低(P<0.05),且低于对照组(P<0.05)。术后1天及3、6个月,2组影像学参数肱骨小头前倾角、Baumann角比较,差异均无统计学意义(P>0.05)。术后1个月,2组屈曲角、提携角比较,差异无统计学意义(P>0.05);术后3、6个月,2组屈曲角、提携角呈升高趋势,并较术后1个月明显增加(P<0.05),且观察组在相同时间点屈曲角、提携角均大于对照组(P<0.05)。术后12个月,观察组平均MEPS评分为(91.47±4.13)分,对照组为(85.63±3.78)分,2组比较,差异有统计学意义(P<0.05);观察组肘关节功能优良率为91.11%(41/45),对照组为73.33%(33/45),2组比较,差异有统计学意义(P<0.05)。2组均未出现血管神经损伤、感染及内翻畸形等并发症。结论:四轴三向复位法联合改良夹板固定治疗肱骨髁上骨折患儿,可明显减轻患儿骨折处肿痛程度,改善肘关节解剖结构关系,促进肘关节功能恢复,缩短康复进程。 展开更多

天然气长输管道运维面临弯头冲蚀的挑战,会严重威胁管道安全。以为天然气长输管道运维提供数据支持为目的,提出基于灰色关联分析的天然气长输管道弯头最大冲蚀角度数值模拟方法。通过天然气长输管道多相流方程,获得天然气长输管道内多... 天然气长输管道运维面临弯头冲蚀的挑战,会严重威胁管道安全。以为天然气长输管道运维提供数据支持为目的,提出基于灰色关联分析的天然气长输管道弯头最大冲蚀角度数值模拟方法。通过天然气长输管道多相流方程,获得天然气长输管道内多相质量和多相动量数据。引入Finnie冲蚀模型描述天然气长输管道弯头最大冲蚀角度。利用灰色关联分析方法,确定影响天然气长输管道弯头最大冲蚀角度的因素。依据多相质量数据、多相动量数据、最大冲蚀角度数值和最大冲蚀角度影响因素,建立天然气长输管道弯头计算流体动力学(CFD)模型。利用CFD模型实现天然气长输管道弯头最大冲蚀角度数值模拟。试验结果表明:该方法建立的天然气长输管道弯头CFD模型可呈现天然气湍流方向和粒子运动轨迹;在不同粒径和气体流速时,该模型可有效进行数值模拟,以仿真管道弯头最大冲蚀角度。该方法可呈现不同粒径时的弯头冲蚀区域云图,具备较为显著的应用效果。 展开更多

BACKGROUND Joint stiffness after elbow surgery is not a rare complication,and is always accompanied by deformity.The causes of joint stiffness are multiple in different patients,and divided into intrinsic and extrinsic causes.Herein,we report an unusual case of posttraumatic elbow stiffness due to multiple and rare causes.CASE SUMMARY A 19-year-old male was hospitalized with the loss of motion of the left elbow for over ten years.Left limb computed tomography revealed left elbow stiffness with bony block and connection.The patient underwent surgery,and the etiology of joint stiffness was found to be a rare combination of common and uncommon causes.During an 18-mo follow-up period,the patient’s left elbow had normal motion and he was symptom-free.CONCLUSION However,this case combined with multiple and rare causes highlights that the patient with scar physique is likely to be accompanied with more severe soft tissue,nerve contracture,and heterotypic ossification,even during recurrence. 展开更多

In this article, we present a case of humeral biepicondylar fracture dislocation concomitant with ulnar nerve injury in a seventeen year-old male patient. Physical examination of our patient in the emergency room revealed a painful, edematous and deformed-looking left elbow joint. Hypoesthesia of the little finger was also diagnosed on the left hand. Radiological assessment ended up with a posterior fracture dislocation of the elbow joint accompanied by intra-articular loose bodies. Open reduction-Internal fixation of the fracture dislocation and ulnar nerve exploration were performed under general anesthesia at the same session as surgical treatment of our patient. Physical therapy and rehabilitation protocol was implemented at the end of two weeks post-operatively. Union of the fracture lines, as well as the olecranon osteotomy site, was achieved at the end of four months post-operatively. Ulnar nerve function was fully restored without any sensory or motor loss. Range of motion at the elbow joint was 20-120 degrees at the latest follow-up. 展开更多

During the production period of shale gas, proppant particles and rock debris are produced together,which will seriously erode the elbows of gathering pipelines. In response to this problem, this paper takes the elbow of the gathering pipeline in the Changning Shale Gas Field as an example to test the erosion rate and material removal mechanism of the test piece at different angles of the elbow through experiments and compares the four erosion models with the experimental results. Through analysis, it is found that the best prediction model for quartz sand-carbon steel erosion is the Oka model. Based on the Oka model, FLUENT software was used to simulate and analyze the law of erosion of the elbow of the gas gathering pipeline under different gas flow velocities, gas gathering pressure, particle size, length of L1,and bending directions of the elbow. And a spiral pipeline structure is proposed to reduce the erosion rate of the elbow under the same working conditions. The results show that this structure can reduce erosion by 34%. 展开更多
