BACKGROUND Hepatobiliary surgery is complex and requires a thorough understanding of the liver’s anatomy,biliary system,and vasculature.Traditional imaging methods such as computed tomography(CT)and magnetic resonanc...BACKGROUND Hepatobiliary surgery is complex and requires a thorough understanding of the liver’s anatomy,biliary system,and vasculature.Traditional imaging methods such as computed tomography(CT)and magnetic resonance imaging(MRI),although helpful,fail to provide three-dimensional(3D)relationships of these structures,which are critical for planning and executing complicated surgeries.AIM To explore the use of 3D imaging and virtual surgical planning(VSP)technologies to improve surgical accuracy,reduce complications,and enhance patient recovery in hepatobiliary surgeries.METHODS A comprehensive review of studies published between 2017 and 2024 was conducted through PubMed,Scopus,Google Scholar,and Web of Science.Studies selected focused on 3D imaging and VSP applications in hepatobiliary surgery,assessing surgical precision,complications,and patient outcomes.Thirty studies,including randomized controlled trials,cohort studies,and case reports,were included in the final analysis.RESULTS Various 3D imaging modalities,including multidetector CT,MRI,and 3D rotational angiography,provide high-resolution views of the liver’s vascular and biliary anatomy.VSP allows surgeons to simulate complex surgeries,improving preoperative planning and reducing complications like bleeding and bile leaks.Several studies have demonstrated improved surgical precision,reduced complications,and faster recovery times when 3D imaging and VSP were used in complex surgeries.CONCLUSION 3D imaging and VSP technologies significantly enhance the accuracy and outcomes of hepatobiliary surgeries by providing individualized preoperative planning.While promising,further research,particularly randomized controlled trials,is needed to standardize protocols and evaluate long-term efficacy.展开更多

In the process of dense vehicles traveling fast,there will be mutual occlusion between vehicles,which will lead to the problem of deterioration of the tracking effect of different vehicles,so this paper proposes a res...In the process of dense vehicles traveling fast,there will be mutual occlusion between vehicles,which will lead to the problem of deterioration of the tracking effect of different vehicles,so this paper proposes a research method of virtual simulation video vehicle target tracking based on you only look once(YOLO)v5s and deep simple online and realtime tracking(DeepSort).Given that the DeepSort algorithm is currently the most effective tracking method,this paper merges the YOLOv5 algorithm with the DeepSort algorithm.Then it adds the efficient channel attention networks(ECA-Net)focusing mechanism at the back for the cross-stage partial bottleneck with 3 convolutions(C3)modules about the YOLOv5 backbone network and before the up-sampling of the Neck feature pyramid.The YOLOv5 algorithm adopts expected intersection over union(EIOU)instead of complete intersection over union(CIOU)as the loss function of the target frame regression.The improved YOLOv5 algorithm is named YOLOv5-Block.The experimental results show that in the special vehicle target detection(TD)and tracking in the virtual simulation environment,The YOLOv5-Block algorithm has an average accuracy(AP)of 99.5%,which significantly improves the target recognition correctness for typical occlusion cases,and is 1.48 times better than the baseline algorithm.After the virtual simulation video sequence test,multiple objects tracking accuracy(MOTA)and various objects tracking precision(MOTP)improved by 10.7 and 1.75 percentage points,respectively,and the number of vehicle target identity document(ID)switches decreased.Compared with recent mainstream vehicle detection and tracking models,the YOLOv5-Block+Deepsort algorithm can accurately and continuously complete the detection and tracking tasks of special vehicle targets in different scenes.展开更多
Background Most existing chemical experiment teaching systems lack solid immersive experiences,making it difficult to engage students.To address these challenges,we propose a chemical simulation teaching system based ...Background Most existing chemical experiment teaching systems lack solid immersive experiences,making it difficult to engage students.To address these challenges,we propose a chemical simulation teaching system based on virtual reality and gesture interaction.Methods The parameters of the models were obtained through actual investigation,whereby Blender and 3DS MAX were used to model and import these parameters into a physics engine.By establishing an interface for the physics engine,gesture interaction hardware,and virtual reality(VR)helmet,a highly realistic chemical experiment environment was created.Using code script logic,particle systems,as well as other systems,chemical phenomena were simulated.Furthermore,we created an online teaching platform using streaming media and databases to address the problems of distance teaching.Results The proposed system was evaluated against two mainstream products in the market.In the experiments,the proposed system outperformed the other products in terms of fidelity and practicality.Conclusions The proposed system which offers realistic simulations and practicability,can help improve the high school chemistry experimental education.展开更多

Patient-specific 3D printed anatomical models are utilized for preoperative planning, intraoperative guidance, and surgical education. AR technology enables the overlay of digital perceptions onto real-world surgical environments.Results:Patient-specific 3D printed anatomical models have multiple applications, such as preoperative planning, intraoperative guidance, trainee education, and patient counseling. Virtual reality involves substituting the real world with a computer-generated 3D environment, while AR overlays digitally created perceptions onto the existing reality. The advances in 3D modeling technology have sparked considerable interest in their application to partial nephrectomy in the realm of renal cancer. 3D printing, also known as additive manufacturing, constructs 3D objects based on computer-aided design or digital 3D models. Utilizing 3D-printed preoperative renal models provides benefits for surgical planning, offering a more reliable assessment of the tumor's relationship with vital anatomical structures and enabling better preparation for procedures. AR technology allows surgeons to visualize patient-specific renal anatomical structures and their spatial relationships with surrounding organs by projecting CT/MRI images onto a live laparoscopic video. Background:With the continuous development of information technology,most universities use mobile teaching platforms for classroom teaching.With the help of the national virtual simulation experimental teaching projec...Background:With the continuous development of information technology,most universities use mobile teaching platforms for classroom teaching.With the help of the national virtual simulation experimental teaching project sharing platform,students can enhance self-directed learning through the virtual simulation operations of the project.Purpose:To explore the application of virtual simulation experiment in teaching the fundamentals of nursing practice based on the Platform of the National Virtual Simulation Experiment Teaching Project during the COVID-19 pandemic analyze the impact of this teaching method on the autonomous learning ability of undergraduate nursing students.Methods:Convenience sampling was used to select 121 nursing undergraduates from Y University’s School of Nursing;the online teaching of fundamentals of nursing practice was conducted to the students.After taking the course,questionnaires were distributed to the undergraduate nursing students to collect their perceptions regarding the use of the virtual simulation experiment platform and autonomous learning competencies.Results:Most students expressed their preference for the virtual simulation teaching platform,and their satisfaction with the project evaluation was high 83.05%.They hoped to promote the application in future experimental teaching.Undergraduate nursing students believed that the virtual simulation teaching platform was conducive to cultivating clinical thinking ability,could stimulate learning interest,enhanced autonomous learning competencies.Conclusion:During the pandemic,the virtual simulation teaching platform for a lecture on in nursing education has achieved good results in both the aspects of teaching and student learning.Teachers efficiently used their training time and reduced their teaching burden.Moreover,the laboratory cost was also reduced.For undergraduate nursing students,the system was conducive to cultivating clinical thinking ability,stimulating their interest in learning,enhancing their learning and comprehension abilities and learning initiative.展开更多

Comparative investigation on the three-dimensional and the cross-sectional characteristics of normal grain growth was done. It was found that the time exponent of grain growth determined from cross-section exhibits the same rule of increasing slowly with time and approaching the theoretical value n = 0.5 of steadygrain growth as the three-dimensional (3-D) system. From change of the number of grains per unit area with timemeasured in cross-section, the state of 3-D normal grain growth may be predicted. The gtain size distribution incross-section is different from that in 3-D system and can not express the evolution characteristic of the 3-D distribution. Furthermore, there exists statistical connection between the topological parameters in cross-section and thosein three-dimensions.展开更多

文摘In the process of dense vehicles traveling fast,there will be mutual occlusion between vehicles,which will lead to the problem of deterioration of the tracking effect of different vehicles,so this paper proposes a research method of virtual simulation video vehicle target tracking based on you only look once(YOLO)v5s and deep simple online and realtime tracking(DeepSort).Given that the DeepSort algorithm is currently the most effective tracking method,this paper merges the YOLOv5 algorithm with the DeepSort algorithm.Then it adds the efficient channel attention networks(ECA-Net)focusing mechanism at the back for the cross-stage partial bottleneck with 3 convolutions(C3)modules about the YOLOv5 backbone network and before the up-sampling of the Neck feature pyramid.The YOLOv5 algorithm adopts expected intersection over union(EIOU)instead of complete intersection over union(CIOU)as the loss function of the target frame regression.The improved YOLOv5 algorithm is named YOLOv5-Block.The experimental results show that in the special vehicle target detection(TD)and tracking in the virtual simulation environment,The YOLOv5-Block algorithm has an average accuracy(AP)of 99.5%,which significantly improves the target recognition correctness for typical occlusion cases,and is 1.48 times better than the baseline algorithm.After the virtual simulation video sequence test,multiple objects tracking accuracy(MOTA)and various objects tracking precision(MOTP)improved by 10.7 and 1.75 percentage points,respectively,and the number of vehicle target identity document(ID)switches decreased.Compared with recent mainstream vehicle detection and tracking models,the YOLOv5-Block+Deepsort algorithm can accurately and continuously complete the detection and tracking tasks of special vehicle targets in different scenes.

文摘Background Most existing chemical experiment teaching systems lack solid immersive experiences,making it difficult to engage students.To address these challenges,we propose a chemical simulation teaching system based on virtual reality and gesture interaction.Methods The parameters of the models were obtained through actual investigation,whereby Blender and 3DS MAX were used to model and import these parameters into a physics engine.By establishing an interface for the physics engine,gesture interaction hardware,and virtual reality(VR)helmet,a highly realistic chemical experiment environment was created.Using code script logic,particle systems,as well as other systems,chemical phenomena were simulated.Furthermore,we created an online teaching platform using streaming media and databases to address the problems of distance teaching.Results The proposed system was evaluated against two mainstream products in the market.In the experiments,the proposed system outperformed the other products in terms of fidelity and practicality.Conclusions The proposed system which offers realistic simulations and practicability,can help improve the high school chemistry experimental education.
文摘Objective:This study aimed to explore the applications of three-dimensional (3D) technology, including virtual reality, augmented reality (AR), and 3D printing system, in the field of medicine, particularly in renal interventions for cancer treatment.Methods:A specialized software transforms 2D medical images into precise 3D digital models, facilitating improved anatomical understanding and surgical planning. Patient-specific 3D printed anatomical models are utilized for preoperative planning, intraoperative guidance, and surgical education. AR technology enables the overlay of digital perceptions onto real-world surgical environments.Results:Patient-specific 3D printed anatomical models have multiple applications, such as preoperative planning, intraoperative guidance, trainee education, and patient counseling. Virtual reality involves substituting the real world with a computer-generated 3D environment, while AR overlays digitally created perceptions onto the existing reality. The advances in 3D modeling technology have sparked considerable interest in their application to partial nephrectomy in the realm of renal cancer. 3D printing, also known as additive manufacturing, constructs 3D objects based on computer-aided design or digital 3D models. Utilizing 3D-printed preoperative renal models provides benefits for surgical planning, offering a more reliable assessment of the tumor's relationship with vital anatomical structures and enabling better preparation for procedures. AR technology allows surgeons to visualize patient-specific renal anatomical structures and their spatial relationships with surrounding organs by projecting CT/MRI images onto a live laparoscopic video. Incorporating patient-specific 3D digital models into healthcare enhances best practice, resulting in improved patient care, increased patient satisfaction, and cost saving for the healthcare system.

文摘Virtual simulation teaching of architecture courses is a teaching mode based on the deep integration of information technology and design class in intelligent environment.Under the background of new engineering,relying on a national virtual simulation laboratory,the exploration of green low-carbon simulation in architecture courses is of great importance for improving the dimension of scientific thinking of architecture undergraduates.In this study,based on the background of architecture curriculum construction,the practical content of the teaching reform of architecture courses based on virtual simulation was expounded from three dimensions of reshaping teaching objectives,updating teaching content and improving teaching evaluation.The practical paths of teaching reform of architecture courses were put forward under virtual simulation experiment teaching,namely building teaching teams,strengthening pilot courses,reforming teaching methods,optimizing classroom teaching content and evaluation methods,constructing practical classroom teaching form in line with the learning situation of architecture courses,building a smart learning platform,and closely combining resource construction,application and curriculum content.This study has important practical significance for optimizing and improving the teaching system of professional courses,adapting to the needs of the industry,enhancing competitiveness,and promoting the construction of first-class architecture courses.

文摘Background:With the continuous development of information technology,most universities use mobile teaching platforms for classroom teaching.With the help of the national virtual simulation experimental teaching project sharing platform,students can enhance self-directed learning through the virtual simulation operations of the project.Purpose:To explore the application of virtual simulation experiment in teaching the fundamentals of nursing practice based on the Platform of the National Virtual Simulation Experiment Teaching Project during the COVID-19 pandemic analyze the impact of this teaching method on the autonomous learning ability of undergraduate nursing students.Methods:Convenience sampling was used to select 121 nursing undergraduates from Y University’s School of Nursing;the online teaching of fundamentals of nursing practice was conducted to the students.After taking the course,questionnaires were distributed to the undergraduate nursing students to collect their perceptions regarding the use of the virtual simulation experiment platform and autonomous learning competencies.Results:Most students expressed their preference for the virtual simulation teaching platform,and their satisfaction with the project evaluation was high 83.05%.They hoped to promote the application in future experimental teaching.Undergraduate nursing students believed that the virtual simulation teaching platform was conducive to cultivating clinical thinking ability,could stimulate learning interest,enhanced autonomous learning competencies.Conclusion:During the pandemic,the virtual simulation teaching platform for a lecture on in nursing education has achieved good results in both the aspects of teaching and student learning.Teachers efficiently used their training time and reduced their teaching burden.Moreover,the laboratory cost was also reduced.For undergraduate nursing students,the system was conducive to cultivating clinical thinking ability,stimulating their interest in learning,enhancing their learning and comprehension abilities and learning initiative.

文摘The Veterinary Microbiology course is centered around the diagnosis and testing of pathogenic microorganisms,with the core value of“moral education and character development.”It reconstructs multidimensional teaching resources by integrating disciplinary achievements with clinical cases and implements a hybrid teaching approach combining virtual simulation and problem-based learning(PBL)through the“three stages+four models+three reflections”framework.Dual-qualification teachers employ various teaching methods,create a“six-in-one”model for ideological and political education,and conduct formative assessments based on the principles of diversified objectives and process emphasis.The hybrid teaching reform addresses issues such as fragmented knowledge,insufficient class hours,weak animal disease diagnostic abilities among students,limited application and expansion of knowledge points,and students’lack of proactive critical thinking skills.The application of hybrid teaching has shown significant advantages and effectiveness,providing a reference for teaching reform in similar microbiology courses.

文摘Virtual simulation technology is the integration of virtual reality technology and augmented reality technology, with intuitionistic, practical and experiential, it can fully meet the needs of different scenes and operation needs of interior design course teaching, and provide students with a full sense of immersion, independent operation and exploration of open space. The fundamental purpose of this study on the application of virtual simulation technology in interior design course teaching is to promote the modernization of interior design course teaching and improve the efficiency of teaching. This paper briefly expounds the concept of virtual simulation technology and interior design course, analyzes the limitations and shortcomings of interior design course teaching and implementation, and discusses the advantages of its application in interior design course from the technical point of view. Finally, the paper puts forward three application steps of virtual simulation technology in interior design course teaching and puts forward the implementation strategy of applying technology to carry out teaching based on the perspective of students, in order to provide valuable reference for the modernization of interior design course teaching.

文摘An appropriate Monte Carlo method was developed to simulate the three-dimensional normal grain growth more completely. Comparative investigation on the three-dimensional and the cross-sectional characteristics of normal grain growth was done. It was found that the time exponent of grain growth determined from cross-section exhibits the same rule of increasing slowly with time and approaching the theoretical value n = 0.5 of steadygrain growth as the three-dimensional (3-D) system. From change of the number of grains per unit area with timemeasured in cross-section, the state of 3-D normal grain growth may be predicted. The gtain size distribution incross-section is different from that in 3-D system and can not express the evolution characteristic of the 3-D distribution. Furthermore, there exists statistical connection between the topological parameters in cross-section and thosein three-dimensions.
