The structure, surface static electricity and hydrophobicity of scFv were investigated. Computer graphic modelling indicated that all regions of scFv including the linker, variable regions of the heavy (VH) and light (VL) chains were suitable. The VH region and the VL region were involved in composing the 'hydrophobic pocket'. The linker was drifted away VH and VL regions. The complementarity determining regions (CDRs) of VH and VL regions surrounded the 'hydrophobic pocket'. This study provides a theory basis for improving antibody affinity, investigating antibody structure and analyzing the functions of VH and VL regions in antibody activity.展开更多

It shows that b value of the sample decreases obviously when the sample with compressive en echelon faults changes into a tensile one after interchange occurs between stress axis σ1 and σ2. A similar experiment is observed when the sample with tensile en echelon faults changes into that with a bend fault after two segments of the en echelon fault linking up. These facts indicate that the variation of b value may con-tain the information of the regional dominant structural model. Therefore, b-value analyses could be a new method for studying regional dominant structural models.展开更多

A three-dimensional(3D) coupledmode model is developed to calculate the acoustic field in an ocean waveguide with seamount topography and analyze the3D effect. In this model, a correction is introduced in the bottom boundary, theoretically making the acoustic field satisfy the energy conservation. Furthermore, a large azimuth angle calculation range is obtained by using the operator theory and higher-order Pade approximation. Additionally, the model has advantages related to the coupling mode and parabolic equation theory. The couplings corresponding to the effects of range-dependent environment are fully considered, and the numerical implementation is kept feasible. After verifying the accuracy and reliability of the model, low-frequency sound propagation characteristics in the seamount environment are analyzed. The results indicate lateral variability in bathymetry can lead to out-of-plane effects such as the horizontal refraction phenomenon, while the coupling effect tends to restore the abnormal sound field and produces acoustic field diffraction behind the seamount. This model effectively considers the effects of the horizontal refraction and coupling, which are proportional to the scale of the seamount.展开更多

This study aims to comprehend the progression of growth faults inside the basin by examining fault geometry, basin development, and structural relief patterns. We used high-quality 2D seismic lines from the PK-MY-8403, classical seismic interpretation techniques and modeling were carried out to reveal the plate tectonic conditions, stratigraphy, and sedimentation history of the basin. The break-up unconformity, Paleocene and Eocene submerged conditions, and crucial geological formations including the Sylhet Limestone, Barail Group, and Surma Group were among the notable features recognized in seismic section. With an emphasis on growth strata and pre-growth strata, significant variations in layer thickness and relief were remarked in different stratigraphic levels. Basin development events like the evolution of the Miocene remnant ocean basin, sedimentation in Oligocene, Eocene Himalayan collision, and the Pliocene reverse fault development are analyzed. In the early the Pliocene compressional forces outpaced sedimentation rates and syn-depositional normal faults of Oligocene time began to move in opposite direction. Syn-depositional growth faults may have formed in the Bengal Basin as a result of this reversal. This research provides a detailed comprehensive knowledge of growth fault development in the Bengal Basin following the seismic interpretation, modelling, and thickness/relief analysis. The outcomes point to a substantial hydrocarbon potential, especially in regions like the Eocene Hinge Zone, where the prospectivity of the area is enhanced by carbonate reefs and Jalangi shale. However, the existence of petroleum four-way closure in the investigated region requires further investigation.展开更多

Comprehensive identification of these potential faults and fractures that cannot be distinguished directly from seismic profile of the complex structures is still an unanswered problem. Based on the compressional structural geometry and kinematics theories as well as the structural interpretation from seismic data, a set of techniques is established for the identification of potential faults and fractures in compressional structures. Firstly, three-dimensional(3D) patterns and characteristics of the faults directly interpreted from seismic profile were illustrated by 3D structural model. Then, the unfolding index maps, the principal structural curvature maps, and tectonic stress field maps were obtained from structural restoration. Moreover, potential faults and fractures in compressional structures were quantitatively identified relying on comprehensive analysis of these three maps. Successful identification of the potential faults and fractures in Mishrif limestone formation and in Asmari dolomite formation of Buzurgan anticline in Iraq demonstrates the applicability and reliability of these techniques.展开更多

The coal-bearing strata of Tertiary age are made up of alluvial fan-lacustrine-swamp genetic sequences. Sinistral strike-slip motion of the N-S trending fault zone has created a locally transtensional or transpres sional tectonic environment, giving rise to the relative movement of fault blocks in the basement, and the development of a strike-slip coal basin at the surface. Based on de tailed sedimentary-structural analyses, the paper proposes geodynamic models for the coal basin formation and its deformation.展开更多

It is noted that at the present time there is a transition from the stage of investigation of “elementary” processes in the clouds to the stage of studying the formation of macro- and microstructural characteristics of clouds as a whole, taking into account their system properties. The main directions of the development of cloud physics at the upcoming stage of its development are discussed. The paper points out that one of these areas is the determination of the structure-forming factors for the clouds and the study of their influence on their formation and evolution. It is noted that one of such factors is the interaction of clouds with their surrounding atmosphere, and the main method of studying its role in the processes of cloud formation is mathematical modeling. A three-dimensional nonstationary model of convective clouds is presented with a detailed account of the processes of thermohydrodynamics and microphysics, which is used for research. The results of modeling the influence of the wind field structure in the atmosphere on the formation and evolution of clouds are presented. It is shown that the dynamic characteristics of the atmosphere have a significant effect on the formation of macro- and microstructural characteristics of convective clouds: the more complex the structure of the wind field in the atmosphere (i.e., the more intense the interaction of the atmosphere and the cloud), the less powerful the clouds are formed.展开更多

The SVSF is a type of sliding mode estimator that is formulated in a predictor-corrector fashion. This strategy keeps the estimated state bounded within a region of the true state trajectory, thus creating a stable and robust estimation process. The IMM method may be utilized for fault detection and diagnosis, and is classified as a model-based method. In this paper, for the purposes of fault detection, the IMM-SVSF is applied through simulation on a simple battery system which is modeled from a hybrid electric vehicle.展开更多

This study provides a theory basis for improving antibody affinity, investigating antibody structure and analyzing the functions of VH and VL regions in antibody activity.

文摘A preliminary study of b value of rocks with two kinds of structural models has been made on the base of a new acoustic emission recording system. Therefore, b-value analyses could be a new method for studying regional dominant structural models.

文摘Large-scale topography, such as a seamount, substantially impacts low-frequency sound propagation in an ocean waveguide, limiting the application of low-frequency acoustic detecting techniques. This model effectively considers the effects of the horizontal refraction and coupling, which are proportional to the scale of the seamount.
文摘The structural and tectonic evolution of the Bengal Basin is characterized by a complex interplay of factors, including sedimentation, the rise of the Himalayan Mountains, and the movements of Jurassic syn-rift faults. However, the existence of petroleum four-way closure in the investigated region requires further investigation.

文摘Faults and fractures of multiple scales are frequently induced and generated in compressional structural system. Successful identification of the potential faults and fractures in Mishrif limestone formation and in Asmari dolomite formation of Buzurgan anticline in Iraq demonstrates the applicability and reliability of these techniques.

文摘Although friction characteristics of fault gouge are important to understand reactivation of fault, behavior of earthquake, and mechanism of slope failure, analysis results of fault gouge have low accuracy mostly than those of soils or rocks due to its high heterogeneity and low strength. Therefore,to improve the accuracy of analysis results,we conducted simple regression analysis and structural equation model analysis and selected major influential factors of friction characteristics among many factors, and then we deduced advanced regression model with the highest coefficient of determination(R^(2)) via multiple regression analysis.Whereas most coefficients of determination in simple regression analysis are below0.3-0.4,coefficient of determination in multiple regression analysis is remarkably large as 0.657.

文摘Through the analysis of the faults and their internal structure in Zhu I Depression,it is found that the internal structure of the late fault is obviously segmented vertically. It develops unitary structure(simple fault plane)in shallow layers, binary structure(induced fracture zone in hanging wall and sliding fracture zone in footwall)in middle, layers and ternary structure(induced fracture zone in hanging wall and sliding fracture zone in middle, and induced fracture zone in footwall)in deep layers.Because the induced fracture zone is a high porosity and permeability zone, and the sliding fracture zone is a low porosity and ultra-low permeability zone, the late fault in middle layers has the character of"transporting while sealing".The late fault can transport hydrocarbon by its induced fracture zone in the side of the hanging wall and seal hydrocarbon by its sliding fracture zone in the side of the footwall. In deep layers, the late fault has the character of"dual-transportation",induced fracture zones in both sides of hanging wall and footwall can transport hydrocarbon. The early fault that only developed in the deep layers is presumed to be unitary structure, which plays a completely sealing role in the process of hydrocarbon migration and accumulation due to inactivity during the hydrocarbon filling period.Controlled by hydrocarbon source,early/late faults, sand bodies and traps, two reservoir-forming models of"inverted L"and"stereo-spiral"can be proposed in middle layers, while two reservoir-forming models of"cross fault"and"lateral fault sealing"are developed in the deep layers of Zhu I Depression.

文摘The Sichuan-Xizang transportation corridor is prone to numerous active faults and frequent strong earthquakes. While extensive studies have individually explored the effect of active faults and strong earthquakes on different engineering structures, their combined effect remains unclear. This research employed multiple physical model tests to investigate the dynamic response of various engineering structures, including tunnels, bridges, and embankments, under the simultaneous influence of cumulative earthquakes and stick-slip misalignment of an active fault. The prototype selected for this study was the Kanding No.2 tunnel, which crosses the Yunongxi fault zone within the Sichuan-Xizang transportation corridor. The results demonstrated that the tunnel, bridge, and embankment exhibited amplification in response to the input seismic wave, with the amplification effect gradually decreasing as the input peak ground acceleration(PGA)increased. The PGAs of different engineering structures were weakened by the fault rupture zone.Nevertheless, the misalignment of the active fault may decrease the overall stiffness of the engineering structure, leading to more severe damage, with a small contribution from seismic vibration.Additionally, the seismic vibration effect might be enlarged with the height of the engineering structure, and the tunnel is supposed to have a smaller PGA and lower dynamic earth pressure compared to bridges and embankments in strong earthquake zones crossing active faults. The findings contribute valuable insights for evaluating the dynamic response of various engineering structures crossing an active fault and provide an experimental reference for secure engineering design in the challenging conditions of the Sichuan-Xizang transportation corridor.
文摘BACKGROUND Esophageal cancer is one of the most common malignant tumors. The three-dimensional quality structure model is a quality assessment theory that includes three dimensions:Structure, process, and results.AIM To investigate the effects of nursing interventions with three-dimensional quality assessment on the efficacy and disease management ability of patients undergoing esophageal cancer surgery.METHODS In this prospective study, the control group received routine nursing, and the intervention group additionally received a three-dimensional quality assessment intervention based on the above routine care.Self-efficacy and patient disease management abilities were evaluated using the General Self-Efficacy Scale(GSES)and Exercise of Self-Care Agency scale, respectively.IBM SPSS Statistics for Windows, version 17.0,was used for the data processing.RESULTS This study recruited 112 patients who were assigned to the control and experi-mental groups(n=56 per group). Before the intervention, there was no significant difference in GSES scores between the two groups(P>0.05).After the inter-vention,the GSES scores of both groups increased, with the experimental group showing higher values(P<0.05).At the time of discharge and three months after discharge, the scores for positive attitudes,self-stress reduction, and total score of health promotion in the experimental group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).CONCLUSION The implementation of a three-dimensional quality structure model for postoperative patients with esophageal cancer can effectively improve their self-management ability and self-efficacy of postoperative patients.

文摘Base isolation can effectively reduce the seismic forces on a superstructure, particularly in lowto medium-rise buildings. However, under strong near-fault ground motions, pounding may occur at the isolation level between the baseisolated building(BIB)and its surrounding retaining walls. To effectively investigate the behavior of the BIB pounding with adjacent structures, after assessing some commonly used impact models,a modified Kelvin impact model is proposed in this paper.Relevant parameters in the modified Kelvin model are theoretically derived and numerically verified through a simple pounding case.At the same time, inelasticity of the isolated superstructure is introduced in order to accurately evaluate the potential damage to the superstructure caused by the pounding of the BIB with adjacent structures. The reliability of the modified Kelvin impact model is validated through numerical comparisons with other impact models. However, the difference between the numerical results from the various impact analytical models is not significant. Many numerical simulations of BIBs are conducted to investigate the influence of various design parameters and conditions on the peak inter-story drifts and floor accelerations during pounding. It is shown that pounding can substantially increase floor accelerations, especially at the ground floor where impacts occur.Higher modes of vibration are excited during poundings, increasing the inter-story drifts instead of keeping a nearly rigid-body motion of the superstructure.Furthermore, higher ductility demands can be imposed on lower floors of the superstructure. Moreover, impact stiffness seems to play a significant role in the acceleration response at the isolation level and the inter-story drifts of lower floors of the superstructure. Finally, the numerical results show that excessive flexibility of the isolation system used to minimize the floor accelerations may cause the BIB to be more susceptible to pounding under a limited seismic gap.
文摘The Kebao coal basin is located at the middle segment of the Xiaojiang fault zone in the central part of Yunnan Province. Based on de tailed sedimentary-structural analyses, the paper proposes geodynamic models for the coal basin formation and its deformation.
文摘The state of the physics of convective clouds and cloud seeding is discussed briefly. It is shown that the dynamic characteristics of the atmosphere have a significant effect on the formation of macro- and microstructural characteristics of convective clouds: the more complex the structure of the wind field in the atmosphere (i.e., the more intense the interaction of the atmosphere and the cloud), the less powerful the clouds are formed.
文摘Recently, a new type of IMM (interacting multiple model) method was introduced based on the relatively new SVSF (smooth variable structure filter), and is referred to as the IMM-SVSF. In this paper, for the purposes of fault detection, the IMM-SVSF is applied through simulation on a simple battery system which is modeled from a hybrid electric vehicle.
