The finite element equation of three-dimensional magnetotelluric forward modeling was derived from Maxwell's equations using general variation principle. The divergence condition was added forcedly to the electric field boundary value problem, which made the solution correct. The system of equation of the finite element algorithm was a large sparse, banded, symmetric, ill-conditioned, non-Hermitian complex matrix equation, which can be solved using the Bi-CGSTAB method. In order to prove correctness of the three-dimensional magnetotelluric forward algorithm, the computed results and analytic results of one-dimensional geo-electrical model were compared. In addition, the three-dimensional magnetotelluric forward algorithm is given a further evaluation by computing COMMEMI model. The forward modeling results show that the algorithm is very efficient, and it has a lot of advantages, such as the high precision, the canonical process of solving problem, meeting the internal boundary condition automatically and adapting to all kinds of distribution of multi-substances.展开更多

The receivers are designed to reduce the amount of uncertainty. As the fluid moves through this setup, four Doppler frequencies are obtained. The multi-dimensional velocity information along the measurement line can be reconstructed. The transducer has a compact geometry suitable for a wide range of applications, including narrow flow areas. The transducer’s basic frequency and sound pressure are selected and evaluated to be compatible with the application. First, to confirm the measurement ability, the measurement of the developed system in two-dimensional flow is validated by comparing it to the theoretical data. The uncertainty of measurement was within 15%. Second, the three-dimensional measurement in turbulent and swirling flow is proved experimentally to check the applicability of the proposed technique.</span></span>展开更多

In this paper, we present a high-speed forwarding pipeline which can finish all of the routing and forwarding tasks in the way of pipelining. We also establish the analysis model of the pipeline with which one can evaluate some key performance parameters of the forwarding engine such as forwarding rate and forwarding delay. We find that the pipeline is of good scalability and can forward unicast packets up to the speed of 40Gbit/s.
文摘Bridge engineering is highly specialized and has spatial characteristics, which puts forward higher requirements for design work. The advancement of information technology has provided ample tools to facilitate bridge design work, with building information modeling(BIM)technology being one of them.BIM technology ensures the efficiency and quality of the forward design of bridges, while also reducing construction costs. This article starts with defining the concept of BIM technology, followed by a discussion on its advantages in bridge design and application process, which serves as a reference for other bridge designers.
文摘This work provides a method to predict the three-dimensional equivalent elastic properties of the filament-wound composites based on the multi-scale homogenization principle. In the meso-scale,a representative volume element(RVE)is defined and the bridging model is adopted to establish a theoretical predictive model for its three-dimensional equivalent elastic constants. The results obtained through this method for the previous experimental model are compared with the ones gained respectively by experiments and classical laminate theory to verify the reliability of this model. In addition, the effects of some winding parameters, such as winding angle,on the equivalent elastic behavior of the filament-wound composites are analyzed. The rules gained can provide a theoretical reference for the optimum design of filament-wound composites.
文摘This study describes an ultrasonic velocity profiler that uses a <span style="white-space:normal;"><span style="font-family:;" "="">new ultrasonic array transducer with unique 5-element configuration</span></span><span style="white-space:normal;"><span style="font-family:;" "="">, with all five elements acting as transmitters and four elements as receivers. Second, the three-dimensional measurement in turbulent and swirling flow is proved experimentally to check the applicability of the proposed technique.</span></span>
