This analysis was carried out by implementing a forecast model that is derived from the simplified Gazetas and Dobry one. This model turns out to be particularly appropriate in the explication of problems connected to high velocity, since it evaluates both inertial and viscous effects activated by the moving load speed. The model implementation requires the transfer function determination that represents the action occurred by the bed surfaces on the railway and it therefore contains information concerning the geometrical and the mechanical characteristics of the embankment, of the ballast and of the sub-ballast. The transfer function H has been evaluated with the finite elements method and particularly, by resorting the ANSYS code with a harmonic structural analysis in the frequencies field. The authors, from the critic examination of the system's dynamics response in its entirety, glean a series of observations both of a general and a specific character, finally attaining a propose of a design modification of the standard railway superstructure at the high velocity of train operation adopted today especially in Italy.展开更多

Considering the effects of current, a modified wave spectrum is adopted to compute the linearized drag force. An additional drag force convolution term is added to the linearized drag force spectrum, therefore the error is reduced which arises from the truncation of higher order terms in the drag force auto-correlation function. An expression of linearized drag force spectrum is given taking the relative velocity into account. It is found that the additional term is a fold convolution integral. In this paper dynamic responses of risers are investigated, while the influence of floater motion on risers is considered. The results demonstrate that the accuracy of the present method reaches the degree required in time domain analysis.展开更多

This study focuses on the complex cubic NLSE with δ-potential,explored through the Brownian process. The investigation begins with the derivation of stochastic solitary wave solutions using the modified exp(-Ψ(ξ)) expansion method. To illustrate the noise effects, 3D and 2D visualizations are displayed for different non-negative values of noise parameter under suitable parameter values. Additionally, qualitative analysis of both perturbed and unperturbed dynamical systems is conducted using bifurcation and chaos theory. In bifurcation analysis, we analyze the detailed parameter analysis near fixed points of the unperturbed system. An external periodic force is applied to perturb the system, leading to an investigation of its chaotic behavior. Chaos detection tools are employed to predict the behavior of the perturbed dynamical system, with results validated through visual representations.Multistability analysis is conducted under varying initial conditions to identify multiple stable states in the perturbed dynamical system, contributing to chaotic behavior. Also, sensitivity analysis of the Hamiltonian system is performed for different initial conditions. The novelty of this work lies in the significance of the obtained results, which have not been previously explored for the considered equation. These findings offer noteworthy insights into the behavior of the complex cubic NLSE with δ-potential and its applications in fields such as nonlinear optics, quantum mechanics and Bose–Einstein condensates.展开更多

The methods and models are unsuitable as geoelectric models of conductive surrounding rocks because they are based on regular local targets. We also propose a calculation and analysis scheme based on numerical simulations of the subsurface transient electromagnetic fields. In the modeling of the electromagnetic fields, the forward modeling simulations are performed by using the finite-difference time-domain method and the discrete image method, which combines the Gaver–Stehfest inverse Laplace transform with the Prony method to solve the initial electromagnetic fields. The precision in the iterative computations is ensured by using the transmission boundary conditions. For the response analysis, we customize geoelectric models consisting of near-borehole targets and conductive wall rocks and implement forward modeling simulations. The observed electric fields are converted into induced electromotive force responses using multicomponent observation devices. By comparing the transient electric fields and multicomponent responses under different conditions, we suggest that the multicomponent-induced electromotive force responses are related to the horizontal and vertical gradient variations of the transient electric field at different times. The characteristics of the response are determined by the varying the subsurface transient electromagnetic fields, i.e., diffusion, attenuation and distortion, under different conditions as well as the electromagnetic fields at the observation positions. The calculation and analysis scheme of the response consider the surrounding rocks and the anomalous field of the local targets. It therefore can account for the geological data better than conventional transient field response analysis of local targets.展开更多

文摘There are clearances in mechanism because of manufacture and assembly error, which reduces operation life and working accuracy of mechanism and has a great impact on dynamical responses. At the moment, research in this area mainly focuses on single degree⁃of⁃freedom mechanism considering one clearance, while research of multi⁃DOF mechanism considering multi⁃clearance is less. With the purpose of studying the dynamical characteristics of complex multi⁃DOF mechanism with multi⁃clearances,a dynamic model was developed. The dynamic responses of 2⁃DOF mechanism with two clearances under different positions, values, and numbers of clearance were analyzed. The displacement, velocity, acceleration, collision force, and the axis trajectory at clearance were then given. In addition, there is a limited amount of literature on chaotic phenomena, which mainly focuses on the chaotic phenomena of end⁃effector of mechanism. But in this paper, the non⁃linear characteristics were analyzed by chaotic phenomenon of clearance joint, then chaotic phenomenon was identified by Poincarémappings and phase diagrams.Bifurcation diagrams were given. The results will offer a reliable technical support for the study of dynamical responses of planar mechanisms and the analysis of chaotic phenomena.
文摘In this paper, the discussion is made on the problem of the oceanic response caused by air-sea interaction under storm. First, the perturbation differential equations for the problem are given, and the interaction functions are supposed to be the solving conditions. Next, the nonlinear diffusion equations of the problem are solved by using the method of the given variable transforms and the specific variable power series. Finally, the response disturbances to the circular intense storm is calculated so as to discribe quantitatively the evolution processes of the oceanic response.

文摘This paper presents a new type of triangular Sharp Eagle wave energy converter(WEC)platform. On the basis of the linear potential flow theory and the finite element analysis method, the hydrodynamic performance and structural response of the platform are studied, considering the actual platform motion and free surface rise under extreme sea states.First, the effects of the wave frequency and direction on the wave-induced loads and dynamic responses were examined. The motion at a wave direction angle of 0°is relatively low.On this basis, the angle constrained by the two sides of the Sharp Eagle floaters should be aligned with the main wave direction to avoid significant platform motion under extreme sea states.Additionally, the structural response of the platform, including the wave-absorbing floaters,is investigated. The results highlighted that the conditions or locations where yielding, buckling, and fatigue failures occur were different. In this context, the connection area of the Sharp Eagle floaters and platform is prone to yielding failure under oblique wave action, whereas the pontoon and side of the Sharp Eagle floaters are prone to buckling failure during significant vertical motion.Additionally, fatigue damage is most likely to occur at the connection between the middle column on both sides of the Sharp Eagle floaters and the pontoons. The findings of this paper revealed an intrinsic connection between wave-induced loads and the dynamic and structural responses of the platform, which provides a useful reference for the improved design of WECs.
文摘Several procedures for non-linear static and dynamic analysis of structures have been developed in recent years. In this paper, the response spectrum analysis is performed on two different shapes i.e. regular and irregular shape of structure by using STAAD PRO. And the comparison results are studied and compared accounting for the earthquake characteristics and the structure dynamic characteristics. As the results show that the earthquake response peak values and the main response frequencies are very close and comparable. It can be referred to by the engineering applications.

文摘Double-shaft-driven needle punching machine is a specialized equipment designed for processing C/C crucible preforms. Its main needle punching module is operated by two sets of reciprocating crank-slider mechanisms. The intense vibration during needle punching not only generates huge noise, but also substantially reduces the quality of the preform. It is imperative to perform a dynamic analysis and optimization of the entire needle punching machine. In this paper, the three-dimensional(3D)model of the entire double-shaft-driven needle punching machine for C/C crucible preforms is established.Based on the modal analysis theory, the modal characteristics of the needle punching machine under various operating conditions are analyzed and its natural frequencies and vibration modes are determined. The harmonic response analysis is then employed to obtain the amplitude of the needle plate at different frequencies, and the structural weak points of the needle punching machine are identified and improved. The feasibility of the optimized scheme is subsequently reevaluated and verified. The results indicate that the first six natural frequencies of the machine increase, and the maximum amplitude of the needle plate decreases by 70.3%.The enhanced dynamic characteristics of the machine significantly improve its performance, enabling more efficient needle punching of C/C crucible preforms.

文摘The nonlinear Schrodinger equation(NLSE) is a key tool for modeling wave propagation in nonlinear and dispersive media. These findings offer noteworthy insights into the behavior of the complex cubic NLSE with δ-potential and its applications in fields such as nonlinear optics, quantum mechanics and Bose–Einstein condensates.

文摘We calculate the multicomponent responses of surface-hole transient electromagnetic method. It therefore can account for the geological data better than conventional transient field response analysis of local targets.
