Ecological Security Assessment,Prediction,and Zoning Management:An Integrated Analytical Framework

Enhancing ecological security for sustainable social,economic,and environmental development is a key focus of current research and a practical necessity for ecological management.However,the integration of retrospective ecological security assessments with future trend predictions and fine-scale targeted regulations remains inadequate,limiting effective ecological governance and sustainable regional development.Guided by Social-Economic-Natural Complex Ecosystems(SENCE)theory,this study proposes an analytical framework that integrates ecological security assessment,prediction,and zoning management.The Daqing River Basin,a typical river basin in the North China Plain,was selected as a case study.The results indicate that overall ecological security in the Daqing River Basin improved from a“Moderate”level to a“Relatively Safe”level between 2000 and 2020;however,spatial heterogeneity persisted,with higher ecological security in northwestern and eastern regions and lower ecological security in the central region.Approximately 62% of the Basin experienced an improvement in ecological security level,except in the major urban areas of Beijing,Tianjin,and Hebei,where ecological security deteriorated.From 2025 to 2040,the overall ecological security of the Daqing River Basin is expected to improve and remain at the“Relatively Safe”level.However,spatial heterogeneity will be further aggravated as the ecological security of major urban areas continues to deteriorate.Ecological security management zones and regulation strategies are proposed at the regional and county scales to emphasize integrated regulation for the entire basin and major urban areas.The proposed analytical framework provides valuable insights for advancing theoretical research on ecological security.The case study offers a practical reference for ecological security enhancement in river basins and other regions facing significant human-land conflicts. 展开更多

An analytical solution for the three-dimensional scattering and diffraction of plane P-waves by a hemispherical alluvial valley with saturated soil deposits is developed by employing Fourier-Bessel series expansion technique. Unlike previous studies, in which the saturated soil deposits were simulated with the single-phase elastic theory, in this paper, they are simulated with Biot's dynamic theory for saturated porous media, and the half space is assumed as a single-phase elastic medium. The effects of the dimensionless frequency, the incidence angle of P-wave and the porosity of soil deposits on the surface displacement magnifications of the hemispherical alluvial valley are investigated. Numerical results show that the existence of a saturated hemispherical alluvial valley has much influence on the surface displacement magnifications. It is more reasonable to simulate soil deposits with Biot's dynamic theory when evaluating the displacement responses of a hemispherical alluvial valley with an incidence of P-waves. 展开更多

In this paper, the axial-flux permanent magnet driver is modeledand analyzed in a simple and novel way under three-dimensional cylindricalcoordinates. The inherent three-dimensional characteristics of the deviceare comprehensively considered, and the governing equations are solved bysimplifying the boundary conditions. The axial magnetization of the sectorshapedpermanent magnets is accurately described in an algebraic form bythe parameters, which makes the physical meaning more explicit than thepurely mathematical expression in general series forms. The parameters of theBessel function are determined simply and the magnetic field distribution ofpermanent magnets and the air-gap is solved. Furthermore, the field solutionsare completely analytical, which provides convenience and satisfactoryaccuracy for modeling a series of electromagnetic performance parameters,such as the axial electromagnetic force density, axial electromagnetic force,and electromagnetic torque. The correctness and accuracy of the analyticalmodels are fully verified by three-dimensional finite element simulations and a15 kW prototype and the results of calculations, simulations, and experimentsunder three methods are highly consistent. The influence of several designparameters on magnetic field distribution and performance is studied and discussed.The results indicate that the modeling method proposed in this papercan calculate the magnetic field distribution and performance accurately andrapidly, which affords an important reference for the design and optimizationof axial-flux permanent magnet drivers. 展开更多

Exact analytical solution to three-dimensional phase change heat transfer problems in biological tissues subject to freezing

Analytically solving a three-dimensional (3-D) bioheat transfer problem with phase change during a freezing process is extremely difficult but theoretically important. The moving heat source model and the Green function method are introduced to deal with the cryopreservation process of in vitro biomaterials. Exact solutions for the 3-D temperature transients of tissues under various boundary conditions, such as totally convective cooling, totally fixed temperature cooling and a hybrid between them on tissue surfaces, are obtained. Furthermore, the cryosurgical process in living tissues subject to freezing by a single or multiple cryoprobes is also analytically solved. A closed-form analytical solution to the bioheat phase change process is derived by considering contributions from blood perfusion heat transfer, metabolic heat generation, and heat sink of a cryoprobe. The present method is expected to have significant value for analytically solving complex bioheat transfer problems with phase change. 展开更多

Two reported three-dimensional covalent organic frameworks(3D-COFs),COF-300 and COF-301,which have hierarchical porous structures and large pore volumes,were synthesized and employed as host materials for lithium-sulfur batteries.Owing to possessing excellent porosities as well as abundant hydroxyl groups in the pore walls,COF-301 can not only trap lithium polysulfides(PSs)via physical adsorption inside the pores,but also capture PSs by chemical interactions to relieve the shuttle effect.Interestingly,it is the first time that 3D-COFs were utilized as host materials for lithium-sulfur batteries as well as hydroxyl groups were introduced into COFs for improving the battery performance.As a result,COF-301@S as cathode material could reserve the capacity of 411.6 mA·h·g^-1 after 500 cycles with only 0.081%fading per cycle at 0.5 C,exhibiting better battery performance compared with COF-300@S.This study not only expands the applications of 3D-COFs but also provides a new route for designing lithium-sulfur batteries. 展开更多

Covalent organic frameworks(COFs) are a class of crystalline porous organic materials with variable structures and fascinating properties. The intrinsic low conductivity impedes their widely application in optoelectronic. Iodine doping is an effective way to enhance the electrical conductivity of COFs. Here, a novel 3D imine COF with lvt topology is synthesized from two different pentacene derivatives with the same core in the form of structural complementarity. DDHP-COF is a highly crystalline material featuring high surface area of 1679 m^(2)/g and excellent thermal stability up to 490 ℃. Upon doping with iodine, the electrical conductivity can reach as high as 1.5×10^(-2)S/m which is significantly enhanced over 6 orders of magnitude compared with the pristine COF. 展开更多

The Critical Discourse Analysis(CDA)is an interdisciplinary tool in various conditions,which aims to provide a better understanding of sociocultural aspects of texts and accounts of the production of internal structure,and overall organization of texts as well as to provide a critical dimension in its theoretical and descriptive accounts of texts.Since June last year,HK protests or HK violence have been frequently reported by worldwide media.In this paper,the author aims to find out how the HK protesters and the Mainland media describe the same event based on the three-dimensional framework of CDA.At last,the author concludes that the mainland media generally describe the event as violence and riot while the HK protesters define themselves as warriors striving for more freedom,justice and democracy.Besides,on this event,the Mainland media mainly accuses some western countries of interference into HK affairs,which is undoubtedly of China’s internal affairs,and the media give full support to the HK police in safeguarding the peace and stability of Hong Kong.But from the perspective of HK protesters,they firmly believe that they are using their actions to protect all the people of HK,and they are defending their values such as freedom,democracy and justice.These are two totally different systems of language,and the author also gives its potential reasons in the paper so as to offer some viewpoints in this aspect in combination with the CDA theory. 展开更多

Shield tunneling inevitably passes through a large number of pile foundations in urban areas.Thus,an accurate assessment of tunneling-induced pile displacement and potential damage becomes a critical part of shield construction.This study presents a mechanism research of pile-soil-tunnel interaction through Pasternak-based two-stage analysis method.In the first stage,based on Mindlin’s solution,the soil displacement fields induced by shield thrust force,cutterhead frictions,shield shell frictions and grouting pressure are derived.The analytical solution of threedimensional soil displacement field is established by introducing Pinto’s three-dimensional volume loss formula,which solves the problems that shield construction factors are not taken into account in Loganathan’s formula and only twodimensional soil displacement field can be obtained.In the second stage,based on Pasternak’s two-parameter foundation model,the analytical solution of pile displacement induced by shield tunneling in layered soil is derived.A case was found in the project of interval tunnels from Wanjiali Square to Furong District Government of Changsha Metro Line 5,where the shield tunnels were constructed near viaduct piles.The reliability of the analytical solution proposed in this study is verified by comparing with the field measured data and the results of finite element method(FEM).In addition,the comparisons of longitudinal,horizontal and vertical displacements of soil and pile foundation analyzed by the analytical solution and FEM provide corresponding theoretical basis,which has significant engineering guidance for similar projects. 展开更多

Through redoing the same experiment of rolling pure lead as Sims, the calculated results by the above expression were compared with those of Kobayashi and Sims formulae. The results show that the twin shear stress yield criterion is available for rolling analysis and the calculated results by the new formula are a little higher than those by Kobayashi and Sims ones if the reduction ratio is less than 30%. 展开更多

Highly accurate closed-form eigensolutions for flutter of three-dimensional(3D)panel with arbitrary combinations of simply supported(S),glide(G),clamped(C)and free(F)boundary conditions(BCs),such as cantilever panels,are achieved according to the linear thin plate theory and the first-order piston theory as well as the complex modal analysis,and all solutions are in a simple and explicit form.The iterative Separation-of-Variable(iSOV)method proposed by the pre-sent authors is employed to obtain the highly accurate eigensolutions.The flutter mechanism is studied with the benefit of eigenvalue properties from mathematical senses.The effects of boundary conditions,chord-thickness ratios,aerodynamic damping,aspect ratios and in-plane loads on flut-ter properties are examined.The results are compared with those of Kantorovich method and Galerkin method,and also coincide well with analytical solutions in literature,verifying the accu-racy of the present closed-form results.It is revealed that,(A)the flutter characteristics are domi-nated by the cross section properties of panels in the direction of stream flow;(B)two types of flutter,called coupled-mode flutter and zero-frequency flutter which includes zero-frequency single-mode flutter and buckling,are observed;(C)boundary conditions and in-plane loads can affect both flutter boundary and flutter type;(D)the flutter behavior of 3D panel is similar to that of the two-dimensional(2D)panel if the aspect ratio is up to a certain value;(E)four to six modes should be used in the Galerkin method for accurate eigensolutions,and the results converge to that of Kantorovich method which uses the same mode functions in the direction perpendicular to the stream flow.The present analysis method can be used as a reference for other stability issues characterized by complex eigenvalues,and the highly closed-form solutions are useful in parameter designs and can also be taken as benchmarks for the validation of numerical methods. 展开更多

A novel Ni(II) coordination polymer [Ni(dtba)(4,4′-bpy)] (1, H2dtba = 2,2′-dithio- bisbenzoic acid, 4,4′-bpy = 4,4′-bipyridine) has been synthesized by H2dtba and Ni(CH3COO)2·4H2O with exo-bidentate rigid ligand 4,4′-bpy by using hydrothermal method, and its structure was determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. X-ray crystal structure analysis reveals that complex 1 crystallizes in monoclinic, space group Cc with a = 11.7624(9), b = 18.7933(19), c = 10.3071(11), β = 97.6510(10)°, V = 2258.2(4)3, Z = 4, C24H16N2NiO4S2, Mr = 519.22, Dc = 1.527 g/cm3, μ = 1.079 mm-1 and F(000) = 1064. The structure was solved by direct methods and refined to R = 0.0434 and wR = 0.1000 for 3281 observed reflections (I 〉 2σ(I)). The coordination environment of Ni(II) is a distorted octahedron, and a three-dimensional structure was formed with the coordination effect of dtba2- and 4,4′-bpy ligands. The topological analysis reveals that the whole framework of 1 is a 2-nodal net of (52.6)(53.64.72.8) topology. The thermal stability and XRD pattern of 1 were also investigated 展开更多

Research on child-friendly cities is an integral part of the Global Childhood Research Movement,emerging under the influence of the new sociology of childhood,feminist theory,and postmodern space theory.It has gone through several developmental stages:a period of germination from the 1970s to the 1980s,a period of exploration from the 1990s to the end of the 20th century,and a period of maturation from the 21st century to the present.During this process,the analytical framework has roughly transitioned from a focus on“age-development”to“social construction,”and then to“social structure.”In response to the current neglect of the shift from a child to a childhood perspective,China's child-friendly cities should harness the momentum of the Global Childhood Research Movement.They should pay attention to the spatial issues arising under“inter-generational relations and generational structure,”revitalize the educational and natural attributes of space,and propose urban development strategies focusing on multi-generational childhood and all-age-friendly city programs from a childhood perspective.This approach will help to realize the coordination between people(in their childhood stages)and place(urban space). 展开更多

Supervisor selection is important for research students in their future studies and careers.Currently,students rely on information search or friends recommendation to find potential research supervisors.However,due to the challenges of incomplete and asymmetric information,students can hardly find suitable supervisors that match their research interests as well as personalities.Existing methods mainly consider topic-relevance and candidate-quality,and overlook the significance of connectivity consideration and two-sided matching degree of individuals personality styles.It proposes a novel supervisor recommendation approach that integrates relevance,connectivity,quality and personality-matching dimensions.The results of user-based evaluations demonstrate that the proposed approach generates more satisfactory recommendations as compared to that of all baseline methods.The present solution has been implemented as a social network recommendation service on ScholarMate. 展开更多

Love solution was employed to obtain analytical solutions of uniformly loaded plates with two different types of clamped edges. The treatment of clamped boundary conditions was the same as that adopted by Timoshenko and Goodier (1970). The analytical solution for the first type of clamped boundary condition is identical with that obtained by Luo et al.(2004), and the solutions for both types were compared with the FEM results and the calculations of thin plate theory. 展开更多

By making use of the direct integration method,an exact analysis of the general three-dimensional thermoelasticity problem is performed for the case of a transversely isotropic homogeneous half-space subject to local thermal and force loadings.The material plane of isotropy is assumed to be parallel to the limiting surface of the halfspace.By reducing the original thermoelasticity equations to the governing ones for individual stress-tensor components,the effect of material anisotropy in the stress field is analyzed with regard to the feasibility requirement,i.e.,the finiteness of the stress field at a distance from the disturbed area.As a result,the solution is constructed in the form of explicit analytical dependencies on the force and thermal loadings for various kinds of transversely isotropic materials and agrees with the basic principles of the continua mechanics.The solution can be efficiently used as a benchmark one for the direct computation of temperature and thermal stresses in transversely isotropic semi-infinite domains,as well as for the verification of solutions constructed by different means. 展开更多
