BACKGROUND Depression is a leading global health concern with high suicide rates and recurrence.Cognitive models suggest that mental pain and automatic thoughts are central to depression's impact.The hypothesis is...BACKGROUND Depression is a leading global health concern with high suicide rates and recurrence.Cognitive models suggest that mental pain and automatic thoughts are central to depression's impact.The hypothesis is that self-compassion will be negatively associated with mental pain,mediated by automatic thoughts.AIM To determine the mediating role of automatic thoughts in the relationship between self-compassion and mental pain in individuals with depression.METHODS This cross-sectional study included 389 inpatients with depression from Tianjin Anding Hospital.Participants completed the Self-Compassion Scale-Chinese Version(SCS-C),Automatic Thought Questionnaire(ATQ),and Orbach&Mikulincer Mental Pain Scale-Chinese Version(OMMP).Data were analyzed using Pearson correlations,multiple linear regressions,and mediation analysis.RESULTS The SCS-C total score was 68.95±14.89,ATQ was 87.02±28.91,and OMMP was 129.01±36.74.Correlation analysis showed mental pain was positively associated with automatic thoughts(r=0.802,P<0.001)and negatively with selfcompassion(r=-0.636,P<0.001).Regression analysis indicated automatic thoughts(β=0.623,P<0.001)and self-compassion(β=-0.301,P<0.001)significantly predicted mental pain.Mediation analysis confirmed automatic thoughts partially mediated the relationship between self-compassion and mental pain(ab=-0.269,95%CI:-0.363 to-0.212).CONCLUSION Self-compassion is inversely related to mental pain in depression,with automatic thoughts playing a mediating role.These findings suggest potential therapeutic targets for alleviating mental pain in depressed patients.展开更多

However, t...Background: COVID-19 had become much less virulent but still infectious, and China had loosened controls on its prevention after three years of zero-COVID policy. Nursing students were faced with infection. However, the symptoms of the vast majority of them were not serious. Objectives: To understand the feelings and thoughts of nursing undergraduates first infected with COVID-19 after implementing the policy of loosening controls on COVID-19 prevention in China. Methods: A semi-structured in-depth interview was adopted to collect data from 19 nursing undergraduates in a nursing school in China in January 2023, which were then analyzed using the Colaizzi analysis method. Results: Two main themes and seven sub-themes were induced: feelings after the diagnosis of being infected (feeling calm by professional confidence, feeling afraid of the consequences of being infected, feeling depressed, feeling relieved/lucky/happy), and thoughts brought by COVID-19 infection (becoming more active in learning, committed to a nursing career, and feeling shaken about becoming a nurse). Conclusions: Schools and hospitals should pay attention to infected nursing students’ mental reactions and changes in study motivation and professional intention. Targeted measures, such as education for epidemic prevention and education for cultivating the professional spirit, should be taken to promote their mental health and reserve their talents for nursing.展开更多

EVD, caused by Ebolavirus and...In December 2013, a new round of Ebola virus disease （EVD） first occurred in a remote countryside of Guinea and then spread in Guinea, Liberia, Sierra Leone, and Nigeria of West Africa. EVD, caused by Ebolavirus and previously known as Ebola hemorrhagic fever, is an acute infectious disease with fatality rates up to 90%. As of August 22, 2014, the number of suspected and confirmed cases was 2615, causing 1427 deaths[I]. On August 8, 2014, World Health Organization announced the current outbreak in West Africa as an international public health emergency. The global epidemic tendency remains ambiguous to date. In recent years, China closely collaborates with West Africa in labor, business, overseas education, and also sends aid medical team there. Thus, the risk of importing the disease cannot be ignored. We conduct this literature review of epidemiology, pathogen, prophylaxis, and treatment to provide evidence for controlling the risk and carrying out effective interventions.展开更多

The evidence-based Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM) nursing in standard plan is to be constructed by a combination of evidence-based thinking and expert consensus.(1) The symptoms of diseases with better curative eff...The evidence-based Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM) nursing in standard plan is to be constructed by a combination of evidence-based thinking and expert consensus.(1) The symptoms of diseases with better curative effect in TCM and the nursing techniques of TCM based on scientific evidence can be preliminarily presented through bibliometric analysis.(2) Expert consultation letters can be developed based on bibliometric results, and symptoms of dominant diseases in TCM and TCM nursing techniques can be selected through those letters.(3) Based on the selected symptoms and TCM nursing techniques, the PICO can be determined, and then evidence search, evidence extraction, evidence analysis can be conducted and synthesized, and recommendations would be chosen.(4) The recommendation grade of each recommendation can be determined by applying the Delphi method and referring to GRADE.(5) The plan will be determined through discussions of experts. It is considered that all kinds of ecological demonstrating areas should be merged in order to construct large scale characterized demonstrating areas which go beyond the district. In other words, in Hexi Region, Zhangye District should be constructed as the largest ecoagriculture demonstrating area of high technology; Wuwei District should be constructed as the largest ecological demonstrating area of agricultural comprehensive exploitation; JiuJia District, which is the shortened form of Jiuquan and Jiayuguan, should be constructed as the largest ecotourism demonstrating area; and Jinchang City should be constructed as the largest ecoindustry demonstrating area. At the same time, the constructing pattern should be selected according to the actual circumstances; science and technology should be applied to construct the demonstrating areas and accelerate the industrialization in the big market. 文摘The evidence-based Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM) nursing in standard plan is to be constructed by a combination of evidence-based thinking and expert consensus.(1) The symptoms of diseases with better curative effect in TCM and the nursing techniques of TCM based on scientific evidence can be preliminarily presented through bibliometric analysis.(2) Expert consultation letters can be developed based on bibliometric results, and symptoms of dominant diseases in TCM and TCM nursing techniques can be selected through those letters.(3) Based on the selected symptoms and TCM nursing techniques, the PICO can be determined, and then evidence search, evidence extraction, evidence analysis can be conducted and synthesized, and recommendations would be chosen.(4) The recommendation grade of each recommendation can be determined by applying the Delphi method and referring to GRADE.(5) The plan will be determined through discussions of experts. The construction of TCM nursing plan would make sure that TCM nursing is scientific, and internationalize TCM nursing.
文摘Based on the field investigations, this paper analyzes systematically the achievements and problems of constructing the demonstrating areas of the ecological rebuilding and economic sustainable development in Hexi, Gansu Province, and then the thoughts on constructing the demonstrating areas are brought forward. It is considered that all kinds of ecological demonstrating areas should be merged in order to construct large scale characterized demonstrating areas which go beyond the district. In other words, in Hexi Region, Zhangye District should be constructed as the largest ecoagriculture demonstrating area of high technology; Wuwei District should be constructed as the largest ecological demonstrating area of agricultural comprehensive exploitation; JiuJia District, which is the shortened form of Jiuquan and Jiayuguan, should be constructed as the largest ecotourism demonstrating area; and Jinchang City should be constructed as the largest ecoindustry demonstrating area. At the same time, the constructing pattern should be selected according to the actual circumstances; science and technology should be applied to construct the demonstrating areas and accelerate the industrialization in the big market. Additionally, it is important to smooth the constructing system and implement the flexible and efficacious running mechanism, and it is suggested that the committee should be organized to administer the ecological demonstrating areas in Hexi Region.
文摘A fuzzy phenomenon has been found between design elements when their classifications were researched. It is hard to separate them since they are interrelated so tight. An explanation between design elements and design thoughts in fashion design based on the fuzzy theory is presented in this paper. I hope this will be a breakthrough for people to enlarge their design thoughts and control their design works.
文摘The paper thinks that China should begin studying B3G as early as possible,participate in the establishment of international standards and draft its own set of standards especially.It briefs the four development trends of contemporary infocommunications based on four related laws and the development of mobile communications.It discusses the development goal of B3G in China and points out that among the B3G related technologies,the effective spectrum and coverage technologies as well as pure IP architecture should be studied in strength.
