The advancement of Artificial Intelligence(AI)has garnered significant attention within the academic research community,reflecting the prevailing zeitgeist.However,there is a paucity of literature that has delved into...The advancement of Artificial Intelligence(AI)has garnered significant attention within the academic research community,reflecting the prevailing zeitgeist.However,there is a paucity of literature that has delved into its connection with the higher order thinking skills of human beings.The purpose of this systematic review is to investigate the relationship between AI utilization and the development of critical thinking(CT)in the field of education.A systematic literature search was performed in two databases,Web of Science and Scopus,with a focus on empirical studies related to AI and CT.The review process followed the PRISMA framework and adopted a bottom-up approach,Ultimately,the integrated review synthesized 21 eligible studies from a total of 649 articles.The systematic review identified three relationships between AI technologies and CT.The results suggest that AI technologies can help to enhance learners’CT skills(n=13).However,excessive or inappropriate utilization of AI may hinder CT development(n=7).Moreover,the cultivation of CT skills has been shown to positively influence the effectiveness of AI utilization(n=4).This article represents the first literature review to delve into the reciprocal relationship between AI implementation and CT development within the education field,striving to illuminate the ways in which learners can enhance their higher-order thinking skills through more effective utilization of AI technologies.展开更多

This study examined the effects of design thinking pedagogy on undergraduates’career decision-making selfefficacy and employability in career education.Using a quasi-experimental design,Chinese college students(N=93)...This study examined the effects of design thinking pedagogy on undergraduates’career decision-making selfefficacy and employability in career education.Using a quasi-experimental design,Chinese college students(N=93)were participants in two wings.The experimental group(n=47)received the design thinking pedagogy,while the control group(n=46)followed the regularly teacher-centered method.The students completed the career decision-making self-efficacy scale and employability scale before and after the intervention.Independent samples t-test results showed that design thinking pedagogy significantly improves students’career decision-making self-efficacy and employability.The ANCOVA results showed that the pretest scores of career decision-making self-efficacy and employability had no significant association with the experimental intervention.There was no interaction between the treatment and pretest scores.It would seem that experimental design thinking pedagogy implemented in career guidance courses has little effect compared to the usual course presentation.Nonetheless,prospects for the implementation of design thinking-guided learning activities to support interdisciplinary learning for improved higher education and career development outcomes need further exploration.展开更多

The 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development outlines 17 individual Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) that guide the needs of practice for many professional disciplines around the world, including engineering, res...The 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development outlines 17 individual Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) that guide the needs of practice for many professional disciplines around the world, including engineering, research, policy, and development. The SDGs represent commitments to reduce poverty, hunger, ill health, gender inequality, environmental degradation, and lack of access to clean water and sanitation. If a typical reductionist approach is employed to address and optimize individual goals, it may lead to a failure in technological, policy, or managerial development interventions through unin- tended consequences in other goals. This study uses a systems approach to understand the fundamental dynamics between the SDGs in order to identify potential synergies and antagonisms. A conceptual system model was constructed to illustrate the causal relationships between SDGs, examine system structures using generic system archetypes, and identify leverage points to effectively influence intentional and minimize unintentional changes in the system. The structure of interactions among the SDGs reflects three archetypes of system behavior: Reinforcing Growth, Limits to Growth, and Growth and Underinvestment. The leverage points identified from the conceptual model are gender equality, sustainable management of water and sanitation, alternative resources, sustainable livelihood standards, and global partnerships. Such a conceptual system analysis of SDGs can enhance the likelihood that the development community will broaden its understanding of the potential synergistic benefits of their projects on resource management, environmental sustainability, and climate change. By linking the interactions and feedbacks of those projects with economic gains, women's empowerment, and educational equality, stakeholders can recognize holistic improvements that can be made to the quality of life of many of the world's poor.展开更多

Ancient Chinese medical theories advocate forging a narrative bond with patients, urging healthcare practitioners to utilize Dao Shu Jie He(道术结合 integration of Dao and techniques) and Yi Dao Yu Shu(以道驭术 guiding techniques with Dao) during diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation. In this context, Dao(道) in traditional Chinese medicine(TCM) corresponds to narrative thinking(叙事思维) while Shu(术) aligns with scientific thinking(科学思维) in evidence-based medicine. This study adopts “narrative Chinese medicine” within the “discourse system of Chinese narrative medicine” as its framework, centering on medical stories that exemplify the application of narrative thinking in ancient Chinese diagnosis and treatment. 文摘Under the tide of economic globalization,college English teaching should not only focus on the improvement of language ability,but also on the cultivation of students’critical thinking ability.This paper takes the integration of language learning and critical thinking ability as the breakthrough point,explores the college English teaching mode under the background of the integration of the two,analyzes the current situation and disadvantages of the separation of the two in the current teaching,and puts forward the integration path from the aspects of curriculum design,teacher training,evaluation system,and so on.With the help of activities such as creating real language situations,carrying out debates and critical reading,it helps students strengthen the improvement of logical analysis and critical thinking ability in their gradual learning,realize the coordinated development of language learning and critical thinking ability,and cultivate compound talents with both language literacy and critical thinking ability for the society.

文摘Artificial intelligence(AI)is rapidly transforming healthcare and medical education.Strong statistical thinking skills are vital for evaluating and applying AI tools.However,traditional medical statistics education has not adapted to this demand.This paper first analyzes the connotation and importance of statistical thinking,points out the significant challenges currently faced by medical statistics education,and then proposes strategies such as innovative teaching methods combined with evidence-based medicine,utilizing AI platforms for supplemental teaching,multidisciplinary integration,and strengthening the understanding of the statistical foundations of AI to enhance the statistical thinking abilities of medical professionals.This study emphasizes the importance of cultivating medical statistical thinking in the era of AI to improve the quality of medical education and ensure the safety and effectiveness of future medical services.

文摘This study examined the effects of design thinking pedagogy on undergraduates’career decision-making selfefficacy and employability in career education.Using a quasi-experimental design,Chinese college students(N=93)were participants in two wings.The experimental group(n=47)received the design thinking pedagogy,while the control group(n=46)followed the regularly teacher-centered method.The students completed the career decision-making self-efficacy scale and employability scale before and after the intervention.Independent samples t-test results showed that design thinking pedagogy significantly improves students’career decision-making self-efficacy and employability.The ANCOVA results showed that the pretest scores of career decision-making self-efficacy and employability had no significant association with the experimental intervention.There was no interaction between the treatment and pretest scores.It would seem that experimental design thinking pedagogy implemented in career guidance courses has little effect compared to the usual course presentation.Nonetheless,prospects for the implementation of design thinking-guided learning activities to support interdisciplinary learning for improved higher education and career development outcomes need further exploration.
文摘From the perspective of Xiang thinking(象思维imagery thinking),the application of Wu Xing(五行five elements)in traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)provides a reasonable cognitive model.Wu Xing with the earth in the center(中土五行)helps TCM establish extensive connections between the human body and the universe,while Wu Xing in the generating and conquering cycles(生克五行)incorporates everything into a systematic thinking framework through complex dialectical relationships,becoming an ideal cognitive tool for TCM diagnosis and treatment.In essence,Wu Xing represents an upgrade of yin-yang dialectical thinking into a two-dimensional Xiang thinking diagram,possessing powerful explanatory capabilities.When faced with complex life systems,Wu Xing provides TCM with a theoretical framework,and TCM,in turn,offers a practical application for Wu Xing.

文摘In recent years,service computing has been widely integrated into software development.Web service development,especially under the RESTful schema,needs to guide students in transferring from object-oriented to resource-oriented architectural thinking and cultivating students’literacy in design thinking,design patterns,and development methods.This paper introduces the foundations of service thinking with a brief review of service sciences,the core features of service thinking,and how to train service thinking of students.It also introduces a case study in Shandong University in the construction of a service computing curriculum system,especially how to highlight the cultivation of service thinking in the design of service software system.

文摘This study explores the integration path of ideological and political education in the course Design Thinking and Expression of environmental art design,aiming to enhance students’innovative thinking,social responsibility,and awareness of sustainable development.Based on the core philosophy of design thinking(people-oriented,problem-solving,and interdisciplinary collaboration)and the elements of ideological and political education in courses(moral education,cultural confidence,sustainable development,and social equity),the study proposes implementation paths for optimizing course objectives,adjusting course content,innovating teaching methods,and optimizing the evaluation system.Through project-based learning,situational teaching,and interdisciplinary collaboration,combined with practical cases such as historical district renewal,environmental design for rural revitalization,and green commercial space design,it has been verified that the effective integration of ideological and political elements in courses can enhance students’cultural identity,sense of social responsibility,and design innovation ability.This study provides theoretical support and practical demonstration for the ideological and political reform of environmental art design courses.In the future,interdisciplinary collaboration can be further deepened,social practice applications can be expanded,the evaluation system can be improved,and the systematic development of ideological and political courses can be promoted.

文摘In the era of generative AI(GAI),translation is undergoing unprecedented transformations.GAI enhances translation quality and efficiency,inaugurating a new chapter in translation.However,due to its limitations,the complexity of translation,and the uniqueness of Zhuang medicine,cultivating the critical thinking ability among talents in English translation of Zhuang medicine has become critically important.This study reforms the teaching content,instructional design,and evaluation of the course Computer-Aided Translation Technology,and constructs a teaching model to enhance the critical thinking abilities among talents in English translation of Zhuang medicine.The result shows that this model establishes a critically thinking-oriented teaching system,promotes interaction between humans and machines,teachers and students,and among peers,and improves students’capabilities in translation,critical thinking,and social communication.
文摘The integration of academic research methodologies into design thinking processes presents a transformative approach to addressing complex challenges in group housing,fostering inclusive,sustainable,and user-centered solutions.This research explores how methodologies such as Participatory Action Research,post-occupancy evaluations,and Research through Design can be systematically embedded within design thinking to bridge the gap between academic rigor and empathy-driven,iterative design practices.By synthesizing these paradigms,the study proposes a framework for group housing design that prioritizes co-design processes,empathy-based data collection,and participatory evaluation,while emphasizing adaptability through sociocultural insights and user feedback.Case studies analysis demonstrate the effectiveness of flexible,community-driven design,while emerging technologies like IoT-enabled cohousing signal new opportunities for innovation.Challenges,including scalability,long-term validation,and reconciling user autonomy with professional expertise,are critically analyzed.Ultimately,this research advances a hybrid methodology to redefine the conceptualization,implementation,and assessment of group housing,offering actionable pathways to achieve affordable,inclusive,and context-sensitive housing solutions.

文摘The 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development outlines 17 individual Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) that guide the needs of practice for many professional disciplines around the world, including engineering, research, policy, and development. The SDGs represent commitments to reduce poverty, hunger, ill health, gender inequality, environmental degradation, and lack of access to clean water and sanitation. If a typical reductionist approach is employed to address and optimize individual goals, it may lead to a failure in technological, policy, or managerial development interventions through unin- tended consequences in other goals. This study uses a systems approach to understand the fundamental dynamics between the SDGs in order to identify potential synergies and antagonisms. A conceptual system model was constructed to illustrate the causal relationships between SDGs, examine system structures using generic system archetypes, and identify leverage points to effectively influence intentional and minimize unintentional changes in the system. The structure of interactions among the SDGs reflects three archetypes of system behavior: Reinforcing Growth, Limits to Growth, and Growth and Underinvestment. The leverage points identified from the conceptual model are gender equality, sustainable management of water and sanitation, alternative resources, sustainable livelihood standards, and global partnerships. Such a conceptual system analysis of SDGs can enhance the likelihood that the development community will broaden its understanding of the potential synergistic benefits of their projects on resource management, environmental sustainability, and climate change. By linking the interactions and feedbacks of those projects with economic gains, women's empowerment, and educational equality, stakeholders can recognize holistic improvements that can be made to the quality of life of many of the world's poor.
文摘The importance of risk thinking is emphasized in the ISO quality management system.In order to do a good job in quality management,we should use risk thinking to do a good job in risk management,improve the level of quality management,and enhance customer satisfaction,so that enterprises can meet the international quality certification standards in the process of development,and have greater development space in the market.Therefore,this paper studies the risk thinking in the ISO quality management system,summarizes the concept of risk thinking in the ISO quality management system,analyzes the problems existing in the application of risk thinking in the ISO quality management system of Chinese enterprises,and puts forward some suggestions for improvement one by one.It is hoped that the analysis can promote Chinese enterprises to fully integrate risk-based thinking into quality management,calmly cope with risks and opportunities,and make customers more satisfied with their services and products.

文摘In the realm of Chinese narrative medicine, narrative thinking holds equal significance to evidence-based thinking within clinical practice, making substantial contributions to patient safety and medical quality. Ancient Chinese medical theories advocate forging a narrative bond with patients, urging healthcare practitioners to utilize Dao Shu Jie He(道术结合 integration of Dao and techniques) and Yi Dao Yu Shu(以道驭术 guiding techniques with Dao) during diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation. In this context, Dao(道) in traditional Chinese medicine(TCM) corresponds to narrative thinking(叙事思维) while Shu(术) aligns with scientific thinking(科学思维) in evidence-based medicine. This study adopts “narrative Chinese medicine” within the “discourse system of Chinese narrative medicine” as its framework, centering on medical stories that exemplify the application of narrative thinking in ancient Chinese diagnosis and treatment. It delves into the narrative thinking encapsulated in Chinese medicine, such as Guan Wu Qu Xiang(观物取象 observing things and extracting information), Can He Er Xing(参合而行 final examination and decision by integrating the four diagnoses), Xing Shen Bing Zhi(形神并治 body-spirit treatment), Xin Shen Jian Li(心身兼理 mind-body balance) and Bian Zheng Lun Zhi(辨证论治 treatment based on pattern differentiation). The study endeavors to inspire contemporary medical educators and clinicians to acknowledge the value of narrative thinking in TCM and fully incorporate it into daily medical practice.

In modern physics, these problems have been resolved based on logical thinking by using the chaos theory in statistical physics, which was arranged by classical physicists in the 17<sup>th</sup> century. However, this is a significantly erroneous problem because, in engineering science, nonlinear dynamics must be resolved and cleared using systems analysis theory based on systems thinking. It is <span><span><span style="font-family:;" "="">the</span></span></span><span><span><span style="font-family:;" "=""> main concept in </span></span></span><span><span><span style="font-family:;" "="">a </span></span></span><span><span><span style="font-family:;" "="">new solution that</span></span></span><span><span><span style="font-family:;" "=""> </span></span></span><span><span><span style="font-family:;" "="">is studied through interdisciplinary research;it is needed to introduce control theory into physics. In 2015, on the behalf of physicists, the author successfully resolved and achieved a new solution, which is a significant achievement in modern science. Unfortunately, physicists have not welcomed it because it is disadvantageous to them, similar to the Copernican theory. So, they themselves became outsiders. If so, non-physicists need to follow their chaos theory in physics unless they do not clarify their solution;moreover, non-physicists on behalf of physicists can use their own new solution without risk. Hence, all scientists need to learn the systems analytic method in engineering.</span></span></span>
