A 3D scene point cloud which stored on the server is reconstructed by (structure-from-motion) SfM technique in advance. On the other hand, the client system in tablets captures query images and sent them to the server to estimate the change area. In order to find region of change, an existing change detection method has been applied into our system. Then the server sends detection result image back to mobile device and visualize it. 近年来我国高速铁路线路发展迅猛,深入至中西部强地震频发地区,研究强地震下高速铁路桥上行车安全性具有重要的实际意义。该文首先基于多体动力学软件Simpack和地震仿真开源软件OpenSees编制了车辆-轨道-桥梁系统联合仿真程序(SOTTB),... 近年来我国高速铁路线路发展迅猛,深入至中西部强地震频发地区,研究强地震下高速铁路桥上行车安全性具有重要的实际意义。该文首先基于多体动力学软件Simpack和地震仿真开源软件OpenSees编制了车辆-轨道-桥梁系统联合仿真程序(SOTTB),该程序发挥了多体动力学软件Simpack和有限元软件OpenSees各自的优势。继而,基于单跨简支梁桥的时程分析,验证了基于OpenSees与Simpack联合仿真思路的正确性和可行性。利用SOTTB程序建立地震作用下高速列车-轨道-桥梁系统精细计算模型,研究在横向地震和轨道不平顺激励下列车的运行安全性。高速列车空间振动模型采用德国ICE动车组,轮轨力计算基于非线性Hertz接触理论和简化Kaller蠕滑理论。结果表明:车辆运行安全性指标和车体的加速度随着地震强度和运行速度的提高有较为明显的增大趋势,横向轮轨力和车体横向加速度受横向地震强度和运行速度影响显著,并且随着地震强度的增大而显著提高。列车的轮重减载率和竖向加速度受地震强度的影响较小,列车的运行速度是影响轮重减载率的主要因素。 展开更多

饱和土场地-桩基-地上结构体系中,饱和土与结构分别具有不同控制方程和计算方法,造成有限元计算的不便。基于Client-Server技术,通过两个子程序分别计算饱和土和桩基-上部结构的动力响应,并利用土体和结构的共同节点传递两者间的作用力... 饱和土场地-桩基-地上结构体系中,饱和土与结构分别具有不同控制方程和计算方法,造成有限元计算的不便。基于Client-Server技术,通过两个子程序分别计算饱和土和桩基-上部结构的动力响应,并利用土体和结构的共同节点传递两者间的作用力与位移,建立了一套求解饱和土-结构相互作用问题的交互式计算方法,其中饱和土采用基于u-p(其中u表示固相位移,p表示孔压)方程的全显式时域积分法求解,有效提高计算效率。最后,通过与Newmark法的数值结果进行对比,验证了提出方法的正确性,并说明该方法可以应用于求解饱和土场地-桩基-地上结构体系的地震响应问题。 展开更多

Under high-level earthquakes,bridge piers and bearings are prone to be damaged and the elastoplastic state of bridge structural components is easily accessible in the train-track-bridge interaction(TTBI)system.Considering the complexity and structural non-linearity of the TTBI system under earthquakes,a single software is not adequate for the coupling analysis.Therefore,in this paper,an interactive method for the TTBI system is proposed by combining the multi-body dynamics software Simpack and the seismic simulation software OpenSees based on the Client-Server architecture,which takes full advantages of the powerful wheel-track contact analysis capabilities of Simpack and the sophisticated nonlinear analysis capabilities of OpenSees.Based on the proposed Simpack and OpenSees co-simulating train-track-bridge(SOTTB)method,a single-span bridge analysis under the earthquake was conducted and the accuracy of co-simulation method was verified by comparing it with results of the finite element model.Finally,the TTBI model is built utilizing the SOTTB method to further discuss the running safety of HST on multi-span simply supported bridges under earthquakes.The results show that the SOTTB method has the advantages of usability,high versatility and accuracy which can be further used to study the running safety of HST under earthquakes with high intensities. 展开更多

Peridynamics(PD)is a powerful method to simulate the discontinuous problems in civil engineering.However,it may take a lot of effort to implement the material constitutive models into PD program for solving a broad range of problems.OpenSees is an open source software which includes a versatile material library and has been widely used by researchers and engineers in civil engineering.In this context,the paper presents a simple but effective approach to integrate PD with OpenSees by using a Client-Server(CS)software integration technique,such that the existing material constitutive models in OpenSees can be directly used by PD.Two applications are presented to verify the new PD-OpenSees platform.The first one is a plate with a pre-crack subject to horizontal load simulated using a three-dimension(3D)multi-yield-surfaces plasticity model,and the second one is a concrete block with a rectangular hole subject to a uniaxial loading condition simulated using a 3D Cap plasticity model.It shows that the generation/propagation of cracks of the elastoplastic materials(e.g.,concrete and soil)can be analyzed by combing PD and three-dimensional plasticity constitutive models without compiling/linking these complex material models into PD program.Thus,the integrated PDOpenSees platform presented herein is potentially capable to solve a wide range of complex problems in civil engineering. 展开更多

Globally, traditional power systems are rapidly transforming towards the adoption of smart grid platforms. Substations which are at the center of the electric power transformation from the power plant are changing to IEC 61850 based digital substations. Therefore, within substation, there is a growing demand for the IEC 61850 based Intelligent Electronic Devices (IEDs). The operation of multiple manufacturers of IEDs in a single digital substation network increases the need for IEC 61850 communications specification conformance diagnosis to ensure interoperability for efficient data exchange between IEDs. The IEC 61850-10 presents test items for diagnosing communication specification conformance. There are many test tools available in the market today to test the compliance of the IEC 61850 communications specifications to the IED. In this paper, we propose a model-based diagnostic method for IED communication conformance testing. The proposed model-based software therefore uses the “drag and drop” technique to select the various IEC 61850 communication services (objects) required to design the test case in a user friendly Graphical User Interface (GUI). This makes the service conformance testing more flexible for test engineers and system integrators especially in situations that require test case modifications. Also, the proposed software tool makes it easy to understand the various IEC 61850 services using the friendly GUI. 展开更多

Systematization for the maintenance of buildings enables their supporting system to be more practical than before. This study aims to make the maintenance and the long-term repairs for the buildings to be easier. In Japan, 30-40-year-old buildings seem to have been planned and built with little thought about their future maintenances, which have made them very difficult to be repaired on a large scale. This is why effective management systems about dealing with the data should be strongly suggested. Since the Building Standard Law was amended on April 1, 2008, in Japan, the regular investigation and report for particular buildings are legally obligated every three years, thus a variety of useful data can be obtained through Kitakyushu City cases as well as former data personally obtained. With those data used usefully, systematization for the maintenance of the buildings will produce satisfactory results by building up a connection between those data and the long-term repair planning. 展开更多

The hardware of the system mainly consists of a mobile robot. Its software employs client-server architecture for robot control and feedback information display. Different communication protocols are adopted according to the characteristics of message exchanged between the robot server and the client. The user interface is designed for the purpose of interaction. The great benefit of this client-server architecture is that the client software is insulated from the lowest level details of the mobile robot. Thus, it is very easy to implement and test new advanced teleoperation control algorithms, interface designs and applications on this platform without large programming work. 展开更多

In this paper,a mobile augmented reality(AR)framework for on-site finite element analysis(FEA)is proposed.The proposed framework is achieved using a client–server architecture.The performance of FEA relies on several important components,namely,computational power,visualization technique,and numerical analysis.AR renders intuitive computer-generated contents directly on a user’s surroundings.Integrating FEA with AR helps users through enhancing their perception and interaction with the engineering problems.Correct and effective visualization of these data using an AR platform can reduce the misinterpretation in spatial and logical aspects.Over the past decade,AR has undergone a transition from desktop to phablet computing.Mobile platforms enable user exploration of FEA results in situ.The client side uses a hybrid method to visualize FEA results in the mobile AR environment.In addition,a user can collaborate with other users by using the result sharing function.A prototype with basic functions has been built and a case study has been implemented to demonstrate the visualization method and evaluate the overall performance. 展开更多

Adaptive rendering of large urban building models has become an important research issue in three-dimensional(3D)geographic information system(GIS)applications.This study explores a way for rendering web-based 3D urban building models.A client-server hybrid rendering approach is presented for large 3D city models,stored on a remote server through a network.The approach combines an efficient multi-hierarchical building representation with a novel image-based method,3D image impostor generated on demand by a remote server.This approach allows transferring complex scenes progressively while keeping high visualization quality.We also evaluated the rendering and data transferring performance of the proposed approach. 展开更多
