Research on the Classification of Digital Cultural Texts Based on ASSC-TextRCNN Algorithm

With the rapid development of digital culture,a large number of cultural texts are presented in the form of digital and network.These texts have significant characteristics such as sparsity,real-time and non-standard expression,which bring serious challenges to traditional classification methods.In order to cope with the above problems,this paper proposes a new ASSC(ALBERT,SVD,Self-Attention and Cross-Entropy)-TextRCNN digital cultural text classification model.Based on the framework of TextRCNN,the Albert pre-training language model is introduced to improve the depth and accuracy of semantic embedding.Combined with the dual attention mechanism,the model’s ability to capture and model potential key information in short texts is strengthened.The Singular Value Decomposition(SVD)was used to replace the traditional Max pooling operation,which effectively reduced the feature loss rate and retained more key semantic information.The cross-entropy loss function was used to optimize the prediction results,making the model more robust in class distribution learning.The experimental results indicate that,in the digital cultural text classification task,as compared to the baseline model,the proposed ASSC-TextRCNN method achieves an 11.85%relative improvement in accuracy and an 11.97%relative increase in the F1 score.Meanwhile,the relative error rate decreases by 53.18%.This achievement not only validates the effectiveness and advanced nature of the proposed approach but also offers a novel technical route and methodological underpinnings for the intelligent analysis and dissemination of digital cultural texts.It holds great significance for promoting the in-depth exploration and value realization of digital culture. 展开更多

A Dynamic Masking-Based Multi-Learning Framework for Sparse Classification

With the recent increase in data volume and diversity,traditional text representation techniques are struggling to capture context,particularly in environments with sparse data.To address these challenges,this study proposes a new model,the Masked Joint Representation Model(MJRM).MJRM approximates the original hypothesis by leveraging multiple elements in a limited context.It dynamically adapts to changes in characteristics based on data distribution through three main components.First,masking-based representation learning,termed selective dynamic masking,integrates topic modeling and sentiment clustering to generate and train multiple instances across different data subsets,whose predictions are then aggregated with optimized weights.This design alleviates sparsity,suppresses noise,and preserves contextual structures.Second,regularization-based improvements are applied.Third,techniques for addressing sparse data are used to perform final inference.As a result,MJRM improves performance by up to 4%compared to existing AI techniques.In our experiments,we analyzed the contribution of each factor,demonstrating that masking,dynamic learning,and aggregating multiple instances complement each other to improve performance.This demonstrates that a masking-based multi-learning strategy is effective for context-aware sparse text classification,and can be useful even in challenging situations such as data shortage or data distribution variations.We expect that the approach can be extended to diverse fields such as sentiment analysis,spam filtering,and domain-specific document classification. 展开更多

研究旨在构建一种高效且精准的分类模型用于判别单篇论文归属基础研究或应用研究。通过构建融合半自动标注的BERT-TextCNN模型,借助半自动标注策略降低人工标注工作量并提高模型分类效率,利用BERT生成文本向量,通过TextCNN提取关键特征... 研究旨在构建一种高效且精准的分类模型用于判别单篇论文归属基础研究或应用研究。通过构建融合半自动标注的BERT-TextCNN模型,借助半自动标注策略降低人工标注工作量并提高模型分类效率,利用BERT生成文本向量,通过TextCNN提取关键特征;通过文献计量法和BERTopic模型分析量子信息领域的分类结果。结果表明,该模型的F1值高达0.896,相较于BERT和TextCNN分别提升2.1%和7.9%,并显著优于Baichuan4-Turbo、DeepSeek-V3和GLM-4-Plus等大语言模型,F1值提升幅度分别为12.2%、13.1%和18.8%。这既验证了语义表征与局部特征融合机制的优越性,又有效克服了大语言模型在专业领域分类中存在的“高召回低精度”缺陷。将模型应用至量子信息领域,发现基础研究聚焦在量子态与纠缠、离子自旋等方向,应用研究重点关注密钥分发、量子传感与网络组件等研究。研究为科学文献分类提供了新方法,在科研评估与资源优化方面具有重要应用价值。 展开更多

The rapid advancement of large language models(LLMs)has driven the pervasive adoption of AI-generated content(AIGC),while also raising concerns about misinformation,academic misconduct,biased or harmful content,and other risks.Detecting AI-generated text has thus become essential to safeguard the authenticity and reliability of digital information.This survey reviews recent progress in detection methods,categorizing approaches into passive and active categories based on their reliance on intrinsic textual features or embedded signals.Passive detection is further divided into surface linguistic feature-based and language model-based methods,whereas active detection encompasses watermarking-based and semantic retrieval-based approaches.This taxonomy enables systematic comparison of methodological differences in model dependency,applicability,and robustness.A key challenge for AI-generated text detection is that existing detectors are highly vulnerable to adversarial attacks,particularly paraphrasing,which substantially compromises their effectiveness.Addressing this gap highlights the need for future research on enhancing robustness and cross-domain generalization.By synthesizing current advances and limitations,this survey provides a structured reference for the field and outlines pathways toward more reliable and scalable detection solutions. 展开更多

Spam emails remain one of the most persistent threats to digital communication,necessitating effective detection solutions that safeguard both individuals and organisations.We propose a spam email classification frame-work that uses Bidirectional Encoder Representations from Transformers(BERT)for contextual feature extraction and a multiple-window Convolutional Neural Network(CNN)for classification.To identify semantic nuances in email content,BERT embeddings are used,and CNN filters extract discriminative n-gram patterns at various levels of detail,enabling accurate spam identification.The proposed model outperformed Word2Vec-based baselines on a sample of 5728 labelled emails,achieving an accuracy of 98.69%,AUC of 0.9981,F1 Score of 0.9724,and MCC of 0.9639.With a medium kernel size of(6,9)and compact multi-window CNN architectures,it improves performance.Cross-validation illustrates stability and generalization across folds.By balancing high recall with minimal false positives,our method provides a reliable and scalable solution for current spam detection in advanced deep learning.By combining contextual embedding and a neural architecture,this study develops a security analysis method. 展开更多

The sharp increase of the amount of Internet Chinese text data has significantly prolonged the processing time of classification on these data.In order to solve this problem,this paper proposes and implements a parallel naive Bayes algorithm(PNBA)for Chinese text classification based on Spark,a parallel memory computing platform for big data.This algorithm has implemented parallel operation throughout the entire training and prediction process of naive Bayes classifier mainly by adopting the programming model of resilient distributed datasets(RDD).For comparison,a PNBA based on Hadoop is also implemented.The test results show that in the same computing environment and for the same text sets,the Spark PNBA is obviously superior to the Hadoop PNBA in terms of key indicators such as speedup ratio and scalability.Therefore,Spark-based parallel algorithms can better meet the requirement of large-scale Chinese text data mining. 展开更多

Synonyms defined by a lexicon are processed in the improved TF-IDF approach. We detailedly discuss and analyze the relationship among confidence, recall and precision. The experiments based on science and technology gave promising results that the new TF-IDF approach improves the precision and recall of text classification compared with the conventional TF-IDF approach. 展开更多

Firstly, the convolution results of several convolution kernels are combined by this method, and then the results after combination are made pooling operation, three sorts of CNN models(we named TBCNN, MCT-CNN and MMCT-CNN respectively) are constructed and then corresponding algorithmic thought are detailed on this basis. Secondly, relevant experiments and analyses are respectively designed to show the effects of three key parameters(convolution kernel, combination kernel number and word embedding) on three kinds of CNN models and to further demonstrate the effect of the models proposed. The experimental results show that compared with the traditional method of text classification in CNNs, term-based pooling method is addressed that not only the availability of the way is proved, but also the performance shows good superiority. 展开更多

Feature selection is a crucial technique in text classification for improving the efficiency and effectiveness of classifiers or machine learning techniques by reducing the dataset’s dimensionality.This involves eliminating irrelevant,redundant,and noisy features to streamline the classification process.Various methods,from single feature selection techniques to ensemble filter-wrapper methods,have been used in the literature.Metaheuristic algorithms have become popular due to their ability to handle optimization complexity and the continuous influx of text documents.Feature selection is inherently multi-objective,balancing the enhancement of feature relevance,accuracy,and the reduction of redundant features.This research presents a two-fold objective for feature selection.The first objective is to identify the top-ranked features using an ensemble of three multi-univariate filter methods:Information Gain(Infogain),Chi-Square(Chi^(2)),and Analysis of Variance(ANOVA).This aims to maximize feature relevance while minimizing redundancy.The second objective involves reducing the number of selected features and increasing accuracy through a hybrid approach combining Artificial Bee Colony(ABC)and Genetic Algorithms(GA).This hybrid method operates in a wrapper framework to identify the most informative subset of text features.Support Vector Machine(SVM)was employed as the performance evaluator for the proposed model,tested on two high-dimensional multiclass datasets.The experimental results demonstrated that the ensemble filter combined with the ABC+GA hybrid approach is a promising solution for text feature selection,offering superior performance compared to other existing feature selection algorithms. 展开更多

In the realm of Multi-Label Text Classification(MLTC),the dual challenges of extracting rich semantic features from text and discerning inter-label relationships have spurred innovative approaches.Many studies in semantic feature extraction have turned to external knowledge to augment the model’s grasp of textual content,often overlooking intrinsic textual cues such as label statistical features.In contrast,these endogenous insights naturally align with the classification task.In our paper,to complement this focus on intrinsic knowledge,we introduce a novel Gate-Attention mechanism.This mechanism adeptly integrates statistical features from the text itself into the semantic fabric,enhancing the model’s capacity to understand and represent the data.Additionally,to address the intricate task of mining label correlations,we propose a Dual-end enhancement mechanism.This mechanism effectively mitigates the challenges of information loss and erroneous transmission inherent in traditional long short term memory propagation.We conducted an extensive battery of experiments on the AAPD and RCV1-2 datasets.These experiments serve the dual purpose of confirming the efficacy of both the Gate-Attention mechanism and the Dual-end enhancement mechanism.Our final model unequivocally outperforms the baseline model,attesting to its robustness.These findings emphatically underscore the imperativeness of taking into account not just external knowledge but also the inherent intricacies of textual data when crafting potent MLTC models. 展开更多

Text format information is full of most of the resources of Internet,which puts forward higher and higher requirements for the accuracy of text classification.Therefore,in this manuscript,firstly,we design a hybrid model of bidirectional encoder representation from transformers-hierarchical attention networks-dilated convolutions networks(BERT_HAN_DCN)which based on BERT pre-trained model with superior ability of extracting characteristic.The advantages of HAN model and DCN model are taken into account which can help gain abundant semantic information,fusing context semantic features and hierarchical characteristics.Secondly,the traditional softmax algorithm increases the learning difficulty of the same kind of samples,making it more difficult to distinguish similar features.Based on this,AM-softmax is introduced to replace the traditional softmax.Finally,the fused model is validated,which shows superior performance in the accuracy rate and F1-score of this hybrid model on two datasets and the experimental analysis shows the general single models such as HAN,DCN,based on BERT pre-trained model.Besides,the improved AM-softmax network model is superior to the general softmax network model. 展开更多

Leveraging Uncertainty for Depth-Aware Hierarchical Text Classification

Hierarchical Text Classification(HTC)aims to match text to hierarchical labels.Existing methods overlook two critical issues:first,some texts cannot be fully matched to leaf node labels and need to be classified to the correct parent node instead of treating leaf nodes as the final classification target.Second,error propagation occurs when a misclassification at a parent node propagates down the hierarchy,ultimately leading to inaccurate predictions at the leaf nodes.To address these limitations,we propose an uncertainty-guided HTC depth-aware model called DepthMatch.Specifically,we design an early stopping strategy with uncertainty to identify incomplete matching between text and labels,classifying them into the corresponding parent node labels.This approach allows us to dynamically determine the classification depth by leveraging evidence to quantify and accumulate uncertainty.Experimental results show that the proposed DepthMatch outperforms recent strong baselines on four commonly used public datasets:WOS(Web of Science),RCV1-V2(Reuters Corpus Volume I),AAPD(Arxiv Academic Paper Dataset),and BGC.Notably,on the BGC dataset,it improvesMicro-F1 andMacro-F1 scores by at least 1.09%and 1.74%,respectively. 展开更多

Analyzing COVID-19 Discourse on Twitter: Text Clustering and Classification Models for Public Health Surveillance

Social media has revolutionized the dissemination of real-life information,serving as a robust platform for sharing life events.Twitter,characterized by its brevity and continuous flow of posts,has emerged as a crucial source for public health surveillance,offering valuable insights into public reactions during the COVID-19 pandemic.This study aims to leverage a range of machine learning techniques to extract pivotal themes and facilitate text classification on a dataset of COVID-19 outbreak-related tweets.Diverse topic modeling approaches have been employed to extract pertinent themes and subsequently form a dataset for training text classification models.An assessment of coherence metrics revealed that the Gibbs Sampling Dirichlet Mixture Model(GSDMM),which utilizes trigram and bag-of-words(BOW)feature extraction,outperformed Non-negative Matrix Factorization(NMF),Latent Dirichlet Allocation(LDA),and a hybrid strategy involving Bidirectional Encoder Representations from Transformers(BERT)combined with LDA and K-means to pinpoint significant themes within the dataset.Among the models assessed for text clustering,the utilization of LDA,either as a clustering model or for feature extraction combined with BERT for K-means,resulted in higher coherence scores,consistent with human ratings,signifying their efficacy.In particular,LDA,notably in conjunction with trigram representation and BOW,demonstrated superior performance.This underscores the suitability of LDA for conducting topic modeling,given its proficiency in capturing intricate textual relationships.In the context of text classification,models such as Linear Support Vector Classification(LSVC),Long Short-Term Memory(LSTM),Bidirectional Long Short-Term Memory(BiLSTM),Convolutional Neural Network with BiLSTM(CNN-BiLSTM),and BERT have shown outstanding performance,achieving accuracy and weighted F1-Score scores exceeding 80%.These results significantly surpassed other models,such as Multinomial Naive Bayes(MNB),Linear Support Vector Machine(LSVM),and Logistic Regression(LR),which achieved scores in the range of 60 to 70 percent. 展开更多

The probability-based covering algorithm(PBCA) is a new algorithm based on probability distribution. It decides, by voting, the class of the tested samples on the border of the coverage area, based on the probability of training samples. When using the original covering algorithm(CA), many tested samples that are located on the border of the coverage cannot be classified by the spherical neighborhood gained. The network structure of PBCA is a mixed structure composed of both a feed-forward network and a feedback network. By using this method of adding some heterogeneous samples and enlarging the coverage radius,it is possible to decrease the number of rejected samples and improve the rate of recognition accuracy. Relevant computer experiments indicate that the algorithm improves the study precision and achieves reasonably good results in text classification. 展开更多

To deal with the problem that arises when the conventional fuzzy class-association method applies repetitive scans of the classifier to classify new texts,which has low efficiency, a new approach based on the FCR-tree(fuzzy classification rules tree)for text categorization is proposed.The compactness of the FCR-tree saves significant space in storing a large set of rules when there are many repeated words in the rules.In comparison with classification rules,the fuzzy classification rules contain not only words,but also the fuzzy sets corresponding to the frequencies of words appearing in texts.Therefore,the construction of an FCR-tree and its structure are different from a CR-tree.To debase the difficulty of FCR-tree construction and rules retrieval,more k-FCR-trees are built.When classifying a new text,it is not necessary to search the paths of the sub-trees led by those words not appearing in this text,thus reducing the number of traveling rules.Experimental results show that the proposed approach obviously outperforms the conventional method in efficiency. 展开更多

针对当前中文短文本情感分类模型文本位置信息与关键特征获取不足的问题,提出了一种融入位置感知强化的Transformer-TextCNN情感分类模型。利用BERT可学习绝对位置编码与正弦位置编码强化模型的位置感知能力,融合Transformer的全局上下... 针对当前中文短文本情感分类模型文本位置信息与关键特征获取不足的问题,提出了一种融入位置感知强化的Transformer-TextCNN情感分类模型。利用BERT可学习绝对位置编码与正弦位置编码强化模型的位置感知能力,融合Transformer的全局上下文理解能力与TextCNN的局部特征捕捉能力,分别提取中文短文本全局特征与局部特征,构建位置感知强化与特征协同的情感特征输出服务,实现中文短文本情感准确分类。实验结果表明,该模型在视频弹幕数据集上的准确率达到90.23%,在SMP2020数据集上的准确率达到87.38%。相较于最优的基线模型,准确率在视频弹幕数据集和SMP2020数据集上分别提高了1.98和0.44个百分点,在中文短文本情感分类任务中取得更好的分类效果。 展开更多

Text classification has always been an increasingly crucial topic in natural language processing.Traditional text classification methods based on machine learning have many disadvantages such as dimension explosion,data sparsity,limited generalization ability and so on.Based on deep learning text classification,this paper presents an extensive study on the text classification models including Convolutional Neural Network-Based(CNN-Based),Recurrent Neural Network-Based(RNN-based),Attention Mechanisms-Based and so on.Many studies have proved that text classification methods based on deep learning outperform the traditional methods when processing large-scale and complex datasets.The main reasons are text classification methods based on deep learning can avoid cumbersome feature extraction process and have higher prediction accuracy for a large set of unstructured data.In this paper,we also summarize the shortcomings of traditional text classification methods and introduce the text classification process based on deep learning including text preprocessing,distributed representation of text,text classification model construction based on deep learning and performance evaluation. 展开更多

Some methods have been developed in the past decade. However, since the Chinese and English are different in language syntax, semantics and pragmatics, sentiment classification methods that are effective for English twitter may fail on Chinese micro-blog. In addition, the colloquialism and conciseness of short Chinese texts introduces additional challenges to sentiment classification. In this work, a novel hybrid learning model was proposed for sentiment classification of Chinese micro-blogs, which included two stages. In the first stage, emotional scores were calculated over the whole dataset by utilizing an improved Chinese-oriented sentiment dictionary classification method. Data with extremely high or low scores were directly labeled. In the second stage, the remaining data were labeled by using an integrated classification method based on sentiment dictionary, support vector machine(SVM) and k-nearest neighbor(KNN). An improved feature selection method was adopted to enhance the discriminative power of the selected features. The two-stage hybrid framework made the proposed method effective for sentiment classification of Chinese micro-blogs. Experiments on the COAE2014(Chinese Opinion Analysis Evaluation 2014) dataset show that the proposed method outperforms other schemes. 展开更多
