Objective To explore potential keywords,research clusters,collaborative pattern,and research trends in the field of medical technology management(MTM)through bibliometric analysis,providing insights for researchers,po...Objective To explore potential keywords,research clusters,collaborative pattern,and research trends in the field of medical technology management(MTM)through bibliometric analysis,providing insights for researchers,policy makers,and hospital administrators.Methods A retrieval formula was applied to the title,abstract,and keywords in the Web of Science(WoS)Core Collection,along with system-recommended terms,to identify articles on MTM.A total of 181 articles published between 1974 and 2022 were retained for quantitative analysis.The global trend of research output;total citations,average citations,and H-index;and bibliographic coupling,co-authorship,and keyword co-occurrence were analyzed using VOSviewer.Results The number of articles on MTM has been steadily increasing year by year.The focus of research has shifted from addressing basic medical needs to prioritizing emergency response and medical information security.The United States,Italy,and the United Kingdom emerged as the main contributors,with the United States leading in both volume of publications(60 articles)and academic impact(H-index=21).Authors from the United Kingdom and the United States led the way in cross-border cooperation.The top five institutions,ranked by total link strength among cross-institutional authors,were primarily located in Canada and Spain.Conclusions The field of MTM has experienced stable growth over the past three decades(1993-2022).The shift of research focus has prompted a heightened emphasis on protecting patient privacy and ensuring the security of medical data.Future research should emphasize interdisciplinary and professional collaboration,as well as international cooperation and open sharing of knowledge.展开更多

Driven by the huge demand for construction since China’s reform and opening-up, Chinese bridge has leapt forward both quantitatively and qualitatively in three major stages, by completing the transition from “follower” to “competitor,” and nally to “leader.” A new future is emerging for Chinese bridge engi- neering. As an important part of China’s transportation infrastructure, the bridge engineering industry is facing challenges in this new era on how to support the construction of a new form of transportation. This paper provides a summary of the status of bridge technology in China, based on a basic analysis of stock demand, incremental demand, and management demand. It is our belief that the Chinese bridge engi- neering industry must ful ll three outstanding requirements: construction ef ciency, management effec- tiveness, and long-term service. Intelligent technology based on information technology provides a new opportunity for innovation in bridge engineering. As a result, the development path of bridge engineering needs to be changed. This paper puts forward the idea of developing a third-generation bridge project that is characterized by intelligence, and discusses this project’s implications, development focus, and plan. In this way, this work provides a direction for the improvement of the core competitiveness of China’s bridge engineering industry.展开更多

Further, the basic and extended dynamic models of the development of technology management capability are constructed, and is applied into an enterprise. The results show that the dynamic models can well explain how the knowledge improves the development of technology management capability, and they can be used as an useful tool by an enterprise to promote technology management capability. During the design of technology management intelligence, it has appeared that there has been a need to establish an integrated and systematic approach. The Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF) provides this systematic approach to the planning, development, implementation, and governance of the enterprise architecture. This exploratory paper examines the TOGAF approach to develop a technology management architecture in a product development organization. The paper discusses the development and proactive governance of the technology management architecture from various perspectives such as architecture capability, architecture development, transition planning, and architecture implementation. The paper presents a TOGAF based governance framework for the technology management system in an organization that develops s0ft'ware-intensive systems. The framework supports an iterative approach in the architecture capability, architecture development, transition planning, and architecture implementation phases. The implementation governance phase can deal with multiple projects simultaneously. Therefore, the framework suggests applying agile system development principles to the projects that develop and deploy the architecture-compliant technology management solutions. The proposed framework helps organizations to design and implement a technology management architecture that meets the needs of the business. Improved child,newborn,and maternal health(CNM)is a top priority in developing countries.Many factors must be addressed simultaneously to improve clinical outcomes for CNM.A public-private project in Haiti that will d...Improved child,newborn,and maternal health(CNM)is a top priority in developing countries.Many factors must be addressed simultaneously to improve clinical outcomes for CNM.A public-private project in Haiti that will deploy the World Health Organization(WHO)evidence-based medicine(EBM)and essential interventions utilizing CNM healthcare technologies(HT),is expected to be a model for improving national health systems.The CNM mortality rates in Haiti are the highest in the western hemisphere with rates similar to those found in Afghanistan and several African countries.Several factors perpetuating this crisis are noted,as well as the most cost-effective interventions proven to decrease CNM mortality rates in low-and middle-income countries.To create major change in health system infrastructure,two strategies are presented,requiring appropriate and leading-edge health technologies(HT),e.g.,wireless cellular-network-based Telemedicine(TM):(1)Development of a countrywide network of geographical"Community Care Grids"to facilitate implementation of frontline interventions;(2)The construction of a central hospital(called Bethesda Referral and Teaching Hospital-BRTH NGO)that will provide secondary and tertiary care for communities throughout the country,including helping local hospitals and clinics practice EBM care.We believe that these strategies-supported by HT will fast track improvement in CNM mortality rates throughout the country and that in a relatively short period of time Haiti's health care system will be among the leaders in the region.Primary factors contributing to the CNM crisis,all addressed by TM:(1)Limited access:demographics,geography,cost,transportation;(2)Inadequate health care facilities:less than 20 NICU beds for 10 million population;BRTH to provide 80 bed NICU and 40 bed PICU in 225 bed hospital;(3)Health care practitioners:inadequate numbers and training;(4)Low%of skilled attendants now at deliveries;(5)Low%of prenatal and postnatal visits;and(6)High risk deliveries in qualified health facilities:only 25%now.BRTH NGO guiding principles:(1)Partnerships:Internal:Public-Ministry of Health and Private hospitals;External:collaboration with USA-based CNM specialists(on-site at BRTH and via TM);(2)Philanthropic donor model for both capital and operating funds:a leading WHO CNM physician expert says BRTH to provide EBM care for"pennies on the dollar comparatively";(3)Public-Private Partnership plan for national/regional HT Management Projects and Maintenance Centers;BTRH at new Port;(4)Care processes:to meet Joint Commission International(JCI)Standards;(5)Safety and Security design:addressing seismic issues;(6)Countrywide:hospitals in Haiti's 10 internal regions/provinces enabled for EBM;and(7)Financial:patient remuneration based on sliding scale for no charge care as needed.EBM and Essential Interventionsutilize HT at every stage of CNM care:(1)Pregnancy;(2)Delivery;(3)Post-Delivery:Mother and Baby;and(4)Infancy and Childhood up to age 5.展开更多

文摘A computer-based technology management system is needed to manage technology assessment, technology acquisition, and technology planning capabilities to shape and accomplish the strategic and operational objectives of an organization. During the design of technology management intelligence, it has appeared that there has been a need to establish an integrated and systematic approach. The Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF) provides this systematic approach to the planning, development, implementation, and governance of the enterprise architecture. This exploratory paper examines the TOGAF approach to develop a technology management architecture in a product development organization. The paper discusses the development and proactive governance of the technology management architecture from various perspectives such as architecture capability, architecture development, transition planning, and architecture implementation. The paper presents a TOGAF based governance framework for the technology management system in an organization that develops s0ft'ware-intensive systems. The framework supports an iterative approach in the architecture capability, architecture development, transition planning, and architecture implementation phases. The implementation governance phase can deal with multiple projects simultaneously. Therefore, the framework suggests applying agile system development principles to the projects that develop and deploy the architecture-compliant technology management solutions. The proposed framework helps organizations to design and implement a technology management architecture that meets the needs of the business. The framework also aims to simplify development and maintenance processes of a technology management system.
文摘Improved child,newborn,and maternal health(CNM)is a top priority in developing countries.Many factors must be addressed simultaneously to improve clinical outcomes for CNM.A public-private project in Haiti that will deploy the World Health Organization(WHO)evidence-based medicine(EBM)and essential interventions utilizing CNM healthcare technologies(HT),is expected to be a model for improving national health systems.The CNM mortality rates in Haiti are the highest in the western hemisphere with rates similar to those found in Afghanistan and several African countries.Several factors perpetuating this crisis are noted,as well as the most cost-effective interventions proven to decrease CNM mortality rates in low-and middle-income countries.To create major change in health system infrastructure,two strategies are presented,requiring appropriate and leading-edge health technologies(HT),e.g.,wireless cellular-network-based Telemedicine(TM):(1)Development of a countrywide network of geographical"Community Care Grids"to facilitate implementation of frontline interventions;(2)The construction of a central hospital(called Bethesda Referral and Teaching Hospital-BRTH NGO)that will provide secondary and tertiary care for communities throughout the country,including helping local hospitals and clinics practice EBM care.We believe that these strategies-supported by HT will fast track improvement in CNM mortality rates throughout the country and that in a relatively short period of time Haiti's health care system will be among the leaders in the region.Primary factors contributing to the CNM crisis,all addressed by TM:(1)Limited access:demographics,geography,cost,transportation;(2)Inadequate health care facilities:less than 20 NICU beds for 10 million population;BRTH to provide 80 bed NICU and 40 bed PICU in 225 bed hospital;(3)Health care practitioners:inadequate numbers and training;(4)Low%of skilled attendants now at deliveries;(5)Low%of prenatal and postnatal visits;and(6)High risk deliveries in qualified health facilities:only 25%now.BRTH NGO guiding principles:(1)Partnerships:Internal:Public-Ministry of Health and Private hospitals;External:collaboration with USA-based CNM specialists(on-site at BRTH and via TM);(2)Philanthropic donor model for both capital and operating funds:a leading WHO CNM physician expert says BRTH to provide EBM care for"pennies on the dollar comparatively";(3)Public-Private Partnership plan for national/regional HT Management Projects and Maintenance Centers;BTRH at new Port;(4)Care processes:to meet Joint Commission International(JCI)Standards;(5)Safety and Security design:addressing seismic issues;(6)Countrywide:hospitals in Haiti's 10 internal regions/provinces enabled for EBM;and(7)Financial:patient remuneration based on sliding scale for no charge care as needed.EBM and Essential Interventionsutilize HT at every stage of CNM care:(1)Pregnancy;(2)Delivery;(3)Post-Delivery:Mother and Baby;and(4)Infancy and Childhood up to age 5.

文摘In view of the problems such as backward production mode,poor quality stability,high safety risk and incomplete control system during erection of the reinforcement framework of simply-supported box girders for high-speed railway(HSR),and in combination with the key points and main challenges in the reinforcement framework construction of Guangzhou-Zhanjiang HSR,the overall technical route for the intelligent manufacturing of reinforcement framework of simply-supported box girders is put forward.The component design of reinforcement framework of simply supported box girder is carried out based on BIM,and the feasibility of the scheme is verified through segment assembly test.The assembly techniques are studied in combination with the mesh design scheme to achieve rapid forming of the reinforcement framework.R&D of automatic processing equipment for components,material transshipment equipment,automatic hoisting equipment and technological equipment for assembly clamping fixture are carried out to realize the overall design of equipment production line.An intelligent control system is developed for the whole-process intelligent construction of reinforcement framework to realize the full life-cycle applications for the workshop production and visual management including intelligent layout and quality traceability.The research results systematically optimize and innovate the assembly and forming technologies of reinforcement framework in the prefabrication beam yard of high-speed railway,realize the component processing,automatic assembly and information technology management,improve the construction quality,efficiency and information technology level of intelligent manufacturing of reinforcement framework of railway prefabricated beam as a whole,and reduce the construction cost of the project.The research has realized a major breakthrough in the construction technology of railway prefabricated box girders,which has the extensive technical and market promotion values.
