How to promote an organization’s technology management capability is of great significance in creating efficiencies and achieving a competitive edge. The knowledge essence of technology management capability is introduced and then the correlation between knowledge diffusion and the development of technology management capability is discussed. Further, the basic and extended dynamic models of the development of technology management capability are constructed, and is applied into an enterprise. The results show that the dynamic models can well explain how the knowledge improves the development of technology management capability, and they can be used as an useful tool by an enterprise to promote technology management capability. Finally, the managerial implications of the models are discussed.展开更多

Recent developments in the field of Knowledge management in the construction s...This study aims at developing a Knowledge Management Implementation Framework for adoption by firms in the Ghanaian construction industry. Recent developments in the field of Knowledge management in the construction sector have led to a renewed competition in driving organizational performance. However, the construction industry in Ghana lacks a knowledge management implementation framework that addresses the needs of the Ghanaian construction supply chain while a comprehensive approach to managing knowledge remains nebulous. The study adopted an extensive literature review of existing knowledge management models to provide the basis for the development of the proposed framework for Ghana. The proposed knowledge management implementation framework was subjected to testing and validation by project managers drawn from nineteen indigenous construction firms in Ghana. The technology acceptance model (TAM) was used as the criteria to validate the proposed knowledge management implementation framework. The proposed Guribie & Tengan knowledge management implementation framework was perceived to be useful, and easy to use and the intention to adopt and use was high among indigenous Ghanaian construction firms. The study recommends further validation using wider population to enhance the efficacy of the framework for wider industry acceptance to enhance organizational competitiveness and performance delivery.展开更多

In the face of rising food demand and declining wheat acreage,improving wheat yield and resource use efficiency will be key to sustainable wheat production.To address the challenge,this study proposed a framework for ...In the face of rising food demand and declining wheat acreage,improving wheat yield and resource use efficiency will be key to sustainable wheat production.To address the challenge,this study proposed a framework for wheat green production,quantified the benefits of key technologies and technology models based on the framework in wheat yield and nitrogen use efficiency(NUE),and developed a new model for the promotion of technology.The framework included soil,root layer and canopy systems,where the adoption of single technologies based on the framework could increase wheat yield and NUE by improving soil fertility,managing soil nutrient supply and building high-yielding systems.Through combining specific single technologies,a year-round plastic film mulching model in dryland cropping,and an efficient nutrient and water management technique model for irrigated cropping were established,providing benefits in wheat yield and NUE.A multi-subject joint innovation technology model was also developed to serve as a bridge to transform agricultural technology into agricultural productivity.In the future,a sustainable increase in wheat production in China will require innovation in key technologies and technology models,the development of new technology promotion models,and the combined efforts of the whole community.展开更多
