Rapid technological advancements drive miniaturization and high energy density in devices,thereby increasing nanoscale thermal management demands and urging development of higher spatial resolution technologies for th...Rapid technological advancements drive miniaturization and high energy density in devices,thereby increasing nanoscale thermal management demands and urging development of higher spatial resolution technologies for thermal imaging and transport research.Here,we introduce an approach to measure nanoscale thermal resistance using in situ inelastic scanning transmission electron microscopy.By constructing unidirectional heating flux with controlled temperature gradients and analyzing electron energy-loss/gain signals under optimized acquisition conditions,nanometer-resolution in mapping phonon apparent temperature is achieved.Thus,interfacial thermal resistance is determined by calculating the ratio of interfacial temperature difference to bulk temperature gradient.This methodology enables direct measurement of thermal transport properties for atomic-scale structural features(e.g.,defects and heterointerfaces),resolving critical structure-performance relationships,providing a useful tool for investigating thermal phenomena at the(sub-)nanoscale.展开更多
Purpose We aimed to investigate the effects of running shoe longitudinal bending stiffness(LBS)and midsole energy return on running economy and ankle mechanics and energetics.Methods PubMed,Scopus,SPORTDiscus,Embase,C...Purpose We aimed to investigate the effects of running shoe longitudinal bending stiffness(LBS)and midsole energy return on running economy and ankle mechanics and energetics.Methods PubMed,Scopus,SPORTDiscus,Embase,CINAHL,and Web of Science were systematically searched for this meta-analysis.Crossover studies comparing the effects of running shoe LBS and/or midsole energy return on at least 1 of the following outcomes:running economy,ankle plantarflexion moment,work,power,or angular velocity were included.Results Of the 2453 studies screened,48 were included(n=878).Results indicated that advanced footwear technologies(AFTs)significantly reduced oxygen consumption(standardized mean difference=–0.44,95%confidence interval:–0.60 to–0.28),p<0.001)as well as peak ankle moments and positive/negative ankle work and power.However,neither LBS nor midsole energy return alone significantly affected oxygen consumption,ankle moments,positive and negative work,or positive power.The effects of AFTs were moderated by the training status and speed of the runner.The quality of evidence for all outcomes were low or very low for all outcomes except the effect of LBS on negative ankle work.Conclusion AFT may improve running economy by minimizing ankle moments,work,and power.The absence of significant independent effects of LBS and midsole energy return suggests that the benefits of AFTs arise from the interaction of these properties.Further research is necessary to understand the mechanisms for improved running performance in AFTs.展开更多

This study reviews the recent progress and trends of carbon capture,utilization and storage(CCUS)technologies,with a particular focus on related policy orientations,technological status,and representative projects acr...This study reviews the recent progress and trends of carbon capture,utilization and storage(CCUS)technologies,with a particular focus on related policy orientations,technological status,and representative projects across North America,Europe,the Middle East,and China.The technical connotations of CCUS are elucidated,and the existing issues and challenges are identified from the perspectives of technology,economics,safety and system integration.The CO_(2) capture technologies are relatively mature;the emergence of novel processes such as direct air capture(DAC)and advanced materials such as metal-organic frameworks(MOFs)offer new choices for efficient capture,but issues related to high energy consumption and operational costs remain unresolved.The CO_(2) geological utilization has developed earlier,where breakthroughs rely on effective source matching,enhanced miscibility and increased swept volume.The CO_(2) chemical utilization exhibits broad market potential for producing high value-added products,and the development of catalytic systems with high conversion efficiency and low cost is identified as the core challenge.For CO_(2) storage,diverse geological bodies provide vast theoretical capacities on both land and offshore worldwide,but subsidy policies and carbon market regulation are required to offset the limited economic returns of storage technologies.This study highlights several frontier technologies,including low-concentration CO_(2) capture,CO_(2)-enhanced oil recovery(EOR),CO_(2)-based green fuel synthesis,microbial CO_(2) conversion,CO_(2) mineralization and hydrogen production,and CO_(2) cushion gas replacement in underground gas storage(UGS).Through cost-effective innovation,regional pipeline network development,flexible technology integration,coordinated macro-policy regulation,and cross-disciplinary collaboration,CCUS can achieve a transformative scale-up from million-ton and ten-million-ton capacities to the hundred-million-ton level,contributing to the achievement of the carbon neutrality goals of China.展开更多

Based on the technological demands for significantly enhancing oil recovery and long-term CO_(2)sequestration in the lacustrine oil reservoirs of China,this study systematically reviews the progress and practices of C...Based on the technological demands for significantly enhancing oil recovery and long-term CO_(2)sequestration in the lacustrine oil reservoirs of China,this study systematically reviews the progress and practices of CO_(2)flooding and storage technologies in recent years.It addresses the key technological needs and challenges faced in scaling up the application of CO_(2)flooding and storage to mature,developed oil fields,and analyzes future development directions.During the pilot test phase(2006-2019),continuous development and application practices led to the establishment of the first-generation CO_(2)flooding and storage technology system for lacustrine reservoirs.In the industrialization phase(since 2020),significant advances and insights have been achieved in terms of confined phase behavior,storage mechanisms,reservoir engineering,sweep control,engineering process and storage monitoring,enabling the maturation of the second-generation CO_(2)flooding and storage theories and technologies to effectively support the demonstration projects of Carbon Capture,Utilization and Storage(CCUS).To overcome key technical issues such as low miscibility,difficulty in gas channeling control,high process requirements,limited application scenarios,and coordination challenges in CO_(2)flooding and storage,and to support the large-scale application of CCUS,it is necessary to strengthen research on key technologies for establishing the third-generation CO_(2)flooding and storage technological system incorporating miscibility enhancement and transformation,comprehensive regulation for sweep enhancement,whole-process engineering techniques and equipment,long-term storage monitoring safety,and synergistic optimization of flooding and storage.展开更多

文摘Based on the technological demands for significantly enhancing oil recovery and long-term CO_(2)sequestration in the lacustrine oil reservoirs of China,this study systematically reviews the progress and practices of CO_(2)flooding and storage technologies in recent years.It addresses the key technological needs and challenges faced in scaling up the application of CO_(2)flooding and storage to mature,developed oil fields,and analyzes future development directions.During the pilot test phase(2006-2019),continuous development and application practices led to the establishment of the first-generation CO_(2)flooding and storage technology system for lacustrine reservoirs.In the industrialization phase(since 2020),significant advances and insights have been achieved in terms of confined phase behavior,storage mechanisms,reservoir engineering,sweep control,engineering process and storage monitoring,enabling the maturation of the second-generation CO_(2)flooding and storage theories and technologies to effectively support the demonstration projects of Carbon Capture,Utilization and Storage(CCUS).To overcome key technical issues such as low miscibility,difficulty in gas channeling control,high process requirements,limited application scenarios,and coordination challenges in CO_(2)flooding and storage,and to support the large-scale application of CCUS,it is necessary to strengthen research on key technologies for establishing the third-generation CO_(2)flooding and storage technological system incorporating miscibility enhancement and transformation,comprehensive regulation for sweep enhancement,whole-process engineering techniques and equipment,long-term storage monitoring safety,and synergistic optimization of flooding and storage.
