Under the background of the continuous deepening of engineering education accreditation and the construction of emerging engineering disciplines,a digital platform-assisted teaching model was explored for the teaching...Under the background of the continuous deepening of engineering education accreditation and the construction of emerging engineering disciplines,a digital platform-assisted teaching model was explored for the teaching reform of the molecular biology course to effectively support the achievement of graduation requirements for bioengineering major and enhance the teaching outcomes of the molecular biology course.The teaching reform of this course took the 2022 cohort students majoring in bioengineering in Chengdu University as the practice object.The course evaluation method was improved by integrating digital platforms for process assessment,and real-world research and practical cases were incorporated into digital platforms to enrich teaching resources.Additionally,digital platforms were integrated throughout the entire teaching process(before,during,and after class),reshaping the instructional workflow into"pre-class online self-learning,in-class teacher-student interaction for deepening knowledge internalization,and practical case studies during and after class for strengthening application".The teaching reform results demonstrated that this teaching model significantly improved the attainment of course objectives,providing valuable experience for similar institutions to advance digital course reforms under the framework of engineering education accreditation.展开更多

As a core course for the Engineering Cost major at Chongqing Institute of Engineering,Engineering Mechanics shoulders the dual mission of cultivating students’mechanical thinking,engineering practical abilities,and p...As a core course for the Engineering Cost major at Chongqing Institute of Engineering,Engineering Mechanics shoulders the dual mission of cultivating students’mechanical thinking,engineering practical abilities,and professional qualities.Centered on the deep integration of the outcome-based education(OBE)concept and curriculum-based ideological and political education,this paper systematically elaborates on the reform paths and implementation strategies from four dimensions-reconstruction of teaching content,innovation of assessment mechanisms,integration of ideological and political elements,and construction of teaching resources-by drawing on the teaching reform practices of Engineering Mechanics courses at multiple universities.Through modular teaching content design,a competency-oriented diversified assessment system,and a method of integrating ideological and political education with local characteristics and engineering case studies,the teaching objectives of“knowledge transmission,ability cultivation,and value shaping”are achieved in a three-in-one manner.Practical results indicate that after the reform,students’engineering practical abilities have significantly improved,with a course objective achievement rate exceeding 0.73,a 23%increase in student satisfaction with the course,and a 35%year-on-year increase in the number of awards won in professional competitions,providing a replicable paradigm for the teaching reform of engineering courses.展开更多

文摘In recent years,with the advent of the era of educational digitalization,the curriculum ideological and political teaching of gerontological nursing in higher vocational colleges has ushered in new development opportunities.Under the background of educational digitalization,in addition to teaching students’professional knowledge and skills of gerontological nursing,teachers should also focus on improving their ideological and moral literacy,guiding students to establish correct values in their hearts,promoting their all-round development in a true sense,and thus cultivating them into gerontological nursing talents with exquisite medical skills and noble medical ethics.This will better meet the social demand for professional gerontological nursing talents and inject inexhaustible motivation into the development of the elderly care industry.In this regard,this paper first elaborates on the value implication of the curriculum ideological and political teaching reform of higher vocational gerontological nursing under the background of educational digitalization,and then puts forward effective implementation strategies for teaching reform,aiming to provide certain reference for relevant researchers and better improve the effectiveness of curriculum ideological and political education in higher vocational gerontological nursing teaching.

文摘Gene Engineering Principles is a fundamental professional course for majors such as bioengineering and biotechnology.It integrates theoretical knowledge with experimental practice and engineering applications.It is characterized by its comprehensive and highly practical nature.Aligning with the new-era higher education philosophy of‘competency-oriented,value-driven’teaching,this study presented a systematic exploration and practice based on undergraduate cohorts from 2018 to 2020 in Chengdu University.The reform focused on teaching methodology,formative assessment,and the integration of ideological and political education.Key strategies included the introduction of classical experimental cases,emphasis on pre-class preparation,enhancement of classroom interaction,focus on engineering-oriented applications,optimization of assessment mechanisms,and the incorporation of national strategic needs into the curriculum.These measures effectively stimulated students’learning motivation and research potential,thereby improving the overall teaching quality and educational effectiveness of the course.The results of the teaching reform demonstrate significant improvements in students’ability to apply theoretical knowledge to practical engineering problems,scientific thinking,experimental research skills,scientific reasoning,and professional identity.Reformed classes outperformed control groups across various instructional metrics,achieving notable educational outcomes.
文摘As a core course for the Engineering Cost major at Chongqing Institute of Engineering,Engineering Mechanics shoulders the dual mission of cultivating students’mechanical thinking,engineering practical abilities,and professional qualities.Centered on the deep integration of the outcome-based education(OBE)concept and curriculum-based ideological and political education,this paper systematically elaborates on the reform paths and implementation strategies from four dimensions-reconstruction of teaching content,innovation of assessment mechanisms,integration of ideological and political elements,and construction of teaching resources-by drawing on the teaching reform practices of Engineering Mechanics courses at multiple universities.Through modular teaching content design,a competency-oriented diversified assessment system,and a method of integrating ideological and political education with local characteristics and engineering case studies,the teaching objectives of“knowledge transmission,ability cultivation,and value shaping”are achieved in a three-in-one manner.Practical results indicate that after the reform,students’engineering practical abilities have significantly improved,with a course objective achievement rate exceeding 0.73,a 23%increase in student satisfaction with the course,and a 35%year-on-year increase in the number of awards won in professional competitions,providing a replicable paradigm for the teaching reform of engineering courses.

文摘Higher education is at the top of the educational hierarchy.With the booming development of the economy and society in China,its scale is also expanding greatly.Professional course teaching is a key component of higher education,and it plays a vital role in cultivating professionalism and even the overall level of students.According to several problems existing in the current teaching practice of professional courses at our universities,in order to improve the teaching quality to meet the requirements in the emerging engineering era,related strategies and approaches for teaching reform are proposed as follows.Firstly,we advance the traditional classroom teaching into the modern one with equal double-subjects of teachers and students to cultivate the active and comprehensive learning ability of students.Secondly,the scientific research practice-oriented teaching method is introduced,and it contributes to connecting theory with engineering practice for students.Thirdly,the diversified course assessment system is explored,and a closed-loop quality control strategy is discussed on the basis of a questionnaire survey and face-to-face interview.By questionnaires and final assessments,it is clear that teaching qualities of related professional courses are satisfactory in recent years,and the methods and strategies can be widely applied to the teaching practice of other courses.
