Regulatory T cells,a subset of CD4^(+)T cells,play a critical role in maintaining immune tolerance and tissue homeostasis due to their potent immunosuppressive properties.Recent advances in research have highlighted the important therapeutic potential of Tregs in neurological diseases and tissue repair,emphasizing their multifaceted roles in immune regulation.This review aims to summarize and analyze the mechanisms of action and therapeutic potential of Tregs in relation to neurological diseases and neural regeneration.Beyond their classical immune-regulatory functions,emerging evidence points to non-immune mechanisms of regulatory T cells,particularly their interactions with stem cells and other non-immune cells.These interactions contribute to optimizing the repair microenvironment and promoting tissue repair and nerve regeneration,positioning non-immune pathways as a promising direction for future research.By modulating immune and non-immune cells,including neurons and glia within neural tissues,Tregs have demonstrated remarkable efficacy in enhancing regeneration in the central and peripheral nervous systems.Preclinical studies have revealed that Treg cells interact with neurons,glial cells,and other neural components to mitigate inflammatory damage and support functional recovery.Current mechanistic studies show that Tregs can significantly promote neural repair and functional recovery by regulating inflammatory responses and the local immune microenvironment.However,research on the mechanistic roles of regulatory T cells in other diseases remains limited,highlighting substantial gaps and opportunities for exploration in this field.Laboratory and clinical studies have further advanced the application of regulatory T cells.Technical advances have enabled efficient isolation,ex vivo expansion and functionalization,and adoptive transfer of regulatory T cells,with efficacy validated in animal models.Innovative strategies,including gene editing,cell-free technologies,biomaterial-based recruitment,and in situ delivery have expanded the therapeutic potential of regulatory T cells.Gene editing enables precise functional optimization,while biomaterial and in situ delivery technologies enhance their accumulation and efficacy at target sites.These advancements not only improve the immune-regulatory capacity of regulatory T cells but also significantly enhance their role in tissue repair.By leveraging the pivotal and diverse functions of Tregs in immune modulation and tissue repair,regulatory T cells–based therapies may lead to transformative breakthroughs in the treatment of neurological diseases. 展开更多

Throughout the globe,diabetes mellitus(DM) is increasing in incidence with limited therapies presently available to prevent or resolve the significant complications of this disorder.DM impacts multiple organs and affects all components of the central and peripheral nervous systems that can range from dementia to diabetic neuropathy.The mechanistic target of rapamycin(m TOR) is a promising agent for the development of novel regenerative strategies for the treatment of DM.m TOR and its related signaling pathways impact multiple metabolic parameters that include cellular metabolic homeostasis,insulin resistance,insulin secretion,stem cell proliferation and differentiation,pancreatic β-cell function,and programmed cell death with apoptosis and autophagy.m TOR is central element for the protein complexes m TOR Complex 1(m TORC1) and m TOR Complex 2(m TORC2) and is a critical component for a number of signaling pathways that involve phosphoinositide 3-kinase(PI 3-K),protein kinase B(Akt),AMP activated protein kinase(AMPK),silent mating type information regulation 2 homolog 1(Saccharomyces cerevisiae)(SIRT1),Wnt1 inducible signaling pathway protein 1(WISP1),and growth factors.As a result,m TOR represents an exciting target to offer new clinical avenues for the treatment of DM and the complications of this disease.Future studies directed to elucidate the delicate balance m TOR holds over cellular metabolism and the impact of its broad signaling pathways should foster the translation of these targets into effective clinical regimens for DM. 展开更多

To determine the prevalence of metabolic syndrome (MetS) in Malaysian type 2 diabetic patients using WHO, NCEP ATP III, IDF and the new Harmonized definitions, and the concordance between these definitions. This study involved 313 patients diagnosed with type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) at two Malaysian tertiary hospitals. Socio-demographic data were assessed using a pre-tested interviewer-administered structured questionnaire. Anthropometric measurements were carried out according to standard protocols. Clinical and laboratory characteristics were examined. Kappa (k) statistics were used for the agreement between the four MetS definitions. The overall prevalence rates of MetS (95% CI) were 95.8% (93.6-98.1), 96.1% (94.0-98.3), 84.8% (80.8-88.9) and 97.7% (96.1-99.4) according to the WHO, NCEP ATP III, IDF and the Harmonized definitions, respectively. The Kappa statistics demonstrated a slight to substantial agreement between the definitions (k = 0.179-0.875, p k = 0.875, p hest specificity (100%) in identifying MetS. In conclusion, the new Harmonized criteria established the highest prevalence of MetS among the four definitions applied. There was a very good concordance between the WHO and NCEP ATP III criteria. The extremely high prevalence of MetS observed in type 2 diabetic patients indicates an impending pandemic of CVD risk in Malaysia. Aggressive treatment of MetS components is required to reduce cardiovascular risk in T2DM. 展开更多

With the increasing growth of online news,fake electronic news detection has become one of the most important paradigms of modern research.Traditional electronic news detection techniques are generally based on contextual understanding,sequential dependencies,and/or data imbalance.This makes distinction between genuine and fabricated news a challenging task.To address this problem,we propose a novel hybrid architecture,T5-SA-LSTM,which synergistically integrates the T5 Transformer for semantically rich contextual embedding with the Self-Attentionenhanced(SA)Long Short-Term Memory(LSTM).The LSTM is trained using the Adam optimizer,which provides faster and more stable convergence compared to the Stochastic Gradient Descend(SGD)and Root Mean Square Propagation(RMSProp).The WELFake and FakeNewsPrediction datasets are used,which consist of labeled news articles having fake and real news samples.Tokenization and Synthetic Minority Over-sampling Technique(SMOTE)methods are used for data preprocessing to ensure linguistic normalization and class imbalance.The incorporation of the Self-Attention(SA)mechanism enables the model to highlight critical words and phrases,thereby enhancing predictive accuracy.The proposed model is evaluated using accuracy,precision,recall(sensitivity),and F1-score as performance metrics.The model achieved 99%accuracy on the WELFake dataset and 96.5%accuracy on the FakeNewsPrediction dataset.It outperformed the competitive schemes such as T5-SA-LSTM(RMSProp),T5-SA-LSTM(SGD)and some other models. 展开更多

Parkinson’s disease is characterized by synucleinopathy-associated neurodegeneration.Previous studies have shown that glucagon-like peptide-1(GLP-1)has beneficial effects in a mouse model of Parkinson’s disease induced by 1-methyl-4-phenyl-1,2,3,6-tetrahydropyridine.However,the effect of GLP-1 on intrinsic synuclein malfunction remains unclear.In this study,we investigated the effect of Lactococcus lactis MG1363-pMG36e-GLP-1 on parkinsonism in SncaA53T transgenic mice and explored the underlying mechanisms.Our data showed that Lactococcus lactis MG1363-pMG36e-GLP-1 inhibited dopaminergic neuronal death,reduced pathological aggregation ofα-synuclein,and decreased movement disorders in SncaA53T transgenic mice.Furthermore,Lactococcus lactis MG1363-pMG36e-GLP-1 downregulated lipopolysaccharide-related inflammation,reduced cerebral activation of microglia and astrocytes,and promoted cell survival via the GLP-1 receptor/PI3K/Akt pathway in the substantia nigra.Additionally,Lactococcus lactis MG1363-pMG36e-GLP-1 decreased serum levels of pro-inflammatory molecules including lipopolysaccharide,lipopolysaccharide binding protein,interleukin-1β,and interleukin-6.Gut histopathology and western blotting further revealed that Lactococcus lactis MG1363-pMG36e-GLP-1 increased the expression of gut integrity-related proteins and reduced lipopolysaccharide-related inflammation by reversing gut dysbiosis in SncaA53T transgenic mice.Our findings showed that the beneficial effect of Lactococcus lactis MG1363-pMG36e-GLP-1 on parkinsonism traits in SncaA53T transgenic mice is mediated by microglial polarization and the reversal of dysbiosis.Collectively,our findings suggest that Lactococcus lactis MG1363-pMG36e-GLP-1 is a promising therapeutic agent for the treatment of Parkinson’s disease. 展开更多

Neurodegenerative diseases are a group of illnesses characterized by the gradual deterioration of the central nervous system,leading to a decline in patients'cognitive,motor,and emotional abilities.Neuroinflammation plays a significant role in the progression of these diseases.However,there is limited research on therapeutic approaches to specifically target neuroinflammation.The role of T lymphocytes,which are crucial mediators of the adaptive immune response,in neurodegenerative diseases has been increasingly recognized.This review focuses on the involvement of T lymphocytes in the neuroinflammation associated with neurodegenerative diseases.The pathogenesis of neurodegenerative diseases is complex,involving multiple mechanisms and pathways that contribute to the gradual degeneration of neurons,and T cells are a key component of these processes.One of the primary factors driving neuroinflammation in neurodegenerative diseases is the infiltration of T cells and other neuroimmune cells,including microglia,astrocytes,B cells,and natural killer cells.Different subsets of CD4~+T cells,such as Th1,Th2,Th17,and regulatory T cells,can differentiate into various cell types and perform distinct roles within the neuroinflammatory environment of neurodegenerative diseases.Additionally,CD8~+T cells,which can directly regulate immune responses and kill target cells,also play several important roles in neurodegenerative diseases.Clinical trials investigating targeted T cell therapies for neurodegenerative diseases have shown that,while some patients respond positively,others may not respond as well and may even experience adverse effects.Targeting T cells precisely is challenging due to the complexity of immune responses in the central nervous system,which can lead to undesirable side effects.However,with new insights into the pathophysiology of neurodegenerative diseases,there is hope for the establishment of a solid theoretical foundation upon which innovative treatment strategies that target T cells can be developed in the future. 展开更多

High-T_(c) Nearly-Free-Electron Superconductivity in Quaternary Hydrides under Ambient Pressure

We report a theoretical investigation into superconductivity within the MAXH_(6) quaternary hydride system using first-principles calculations,where M and A denote alkali and alkaline earth elements,respectively,and X represents transition metal elements.Systematic analysis of electronic band structures,phonon dispersions,and electron-phonon coupling reveals that substitution of MA binary metal combinations and X metal atoms can create favorable conditions for superconductivity.Mapping of superconducting critical temperatures,combined with dynamical stability analysis through phonon calculations,identifies ten superconducting candidates at ambient pressure.Among these,LiNaAgH_(6) exhibits nearly-free-electron behavior reminiscent of monovalent electron superconductors.It demonstrates exceptional superconducting properties with electron–phonon coupling λ=2.707,which yields a superconducting transition temperature T_(c) of 206.4 K using the Allen–Dynes formula.Its structural analogs MgNaPdH_(6),LiMgPdH_(6),LiMgAgH_(6),LiMgAuH_(6) all exhibit superconducting transition temperatures above 110 K.These findings advance our fundamental understanding of superconductivity in quaternary hydrides and provide guidance for rational design of new high-temperature superconducting materials. 展开更多

Hidden face of Parkinson's disease:Is it a new autoimmune disease?

Parkinson's disease is a neurodegenerative disorder marked by the degeneration of dopaminergic neurons and clinical symptoms such as tremors,rigidity,and slowed movements.A key feature of Parkinson's disease is the accumulation of misfoldedα-synuclein,forming insoluble Lewy bodies in the substantia nigra pars compacta,which contributes to neurodegeneration.Theseα-synuclein aggregates may act as autoantigens,leading to T-cell-mediated neuroinflammation and contributing to dopaminergic cell death.Our perspective explores the hypothesis that Parkinson's disease may have an autoimmune component,highlighting research that connects peripheral immune responses with neurodegeneration.T cells derived from Parkinson's disease patients appear to have the potential to initiate an autoimmune response againstα-synuclein and its modified peptides,possibly leading to the formation of neo-epitopes.Recent evidence associates Parkinson's disease with abnormal immune responses,as indicated by increased levels of immune cells,such as CD4^(+)and CD8^(+)T cells,observed in both patients and mouse models.The convergence of T cells filtration increasing major histocompatibility complex molecules,and the susceptibility of dopaminergic neurons supports the hypothesis that Parkinson's disease may exhibit autoimmune characteristics.Understanding the immune mechanisms involved in Parkinson's disease will be crucial for developing therapeutic strategies that target the autoimmune aspects of the disease.Novel approaches,including precision medicine based on major histocompatibility complex/human leukocyte antigen typing and early biomarker identification,could pave the way for immune-based treatments aimed at slowing or halting disease progression.This perspective explores the relationship between autoimmunity and Parkinson's disease,suggesting that further research could deepen understanding and offer new therapeutic avenues.In this paper,it is organized to provide a comprehensive perspective on the autoimmune aspects of Parkinson's disease.It investigates critical areas such as the autoimmune response observed in Parkinson's disease patients and the role of autoimmune mechanisms targetingα-synuclein in Parkinson's disease.The paper also examines the impact of CD4~+T cells,specifically Th1 and Th17,on neurons through in vitro and ex vivo studies.Additionally,it explores howα-synuclein influences glia-induced neuroinflammation in Parkinson's disease.The discussion extends to the clinical implications and therapeutic landscape,offering insights into potential treatments.Consequently,we aim to provide a comprehensive perspective on the autoimmune aspects of Parkinson's disease,incorporating both supportive and opposing views on its classification as an autoimmune disorder and exploring implications for clinical applications. 展开更多

Pancreatic cancer is the third leading cause of cancer mortality in both men and women in the United States,with poor response to current standard of care,short progression-free and overall survival.Immunotherapies that target cytotoxic T lymphocyte antigen-4,programmed cell death protein-1,and programmed death-ligand 1 checkpoints have shown remarkable activities in several cancers such as melanoma,renal cell carcinoma,and nonsmall cell lung cancer due to high numbers of somatic mutations,combined with cytotoxic T-cell responses.However,single checkpoint blockade was ineffective in pancreatic cancer,highlighting the challenges including the poor antigenicity,a dense desmoplastic stroma,and a largely immunosuppressive microenvironment.In this review,we will summarize available clinical results and ongoing efforts of combining immune checkpoint therapies with other treatment modalities such as chemotherapy,radiotherapy,and targeted therapy.These combination therapies hold promise in unleashing the potential of immunotherapy in pancreatic cancer to achieve better and more durable clinical responses by enhancing cytotoxic T-cell responses. 展开更多

E-learning platforms support education systems worldwide, transferring theoretical knowledge as well as soft skills. In the present study high-school pupils’, and adult students’ opinions were evaluated through a modern structured MOODLE interactive course, designed for the needs of the laboratory course “Automotive Systems”. The study concerns Greek secondary vocational education pupils aged 18 and vocational training adult students aged 20 to 50 years. The multistage, equal size simple random cluster sample was used as a sampling method. Pupils and adult students of each cluster completed structured 10-question questionnaires both before and after attending the course. A total of 120 questionnaires were collected. In general, our findings disclosed that the majority of pupils and adult students had significantly improved their knowledge and skills from using MOODLE. They reported strengthening conventional teaching, using the new MOODLE technology. The satisfaction indices improved quite, with the differences in their mean values being statistically significant. 展开更多

Tumor immunity proceeds through multiple processes, which consist of antigen presentation by antigen presenting cells(APCs) to educate effector cells and destruction by the effector cytotoxic cells. However, tumor immunity is frequently repressed at tumor sites. Malignantly transformed cells rarely survive the attack by the immune system, but cells that do survive change their phenotypes to reduce their immunogenicity. The resultant cells evade the attack by the immune system and form clinically discernible tumors. Tumor microenvironments simultaneously contain a wide variety of immune suppressive molecules and cells to dampen tumor immunity. Moreover, the liver microenvironment exhibits immune tolerance to reduce aberrant immune responses to massively-exposed antigens via the portal vein, and immune dysfunction is frequently associated with liver cirrhosis, which is widespread in hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC) patients. Immune therapy aims to reduce tumor burden, but it is also expected to prevent non-cancerous liver lesions from progressing to HCC, because HCC develops or recurs from noncancerous liver lesions with chronic inflammatory states and/or cirrhosis and these lesions cannot be cured and/or eradicated by local and/or systemic therapies. Nevertheless, cancer immune therapy should augment specific tumor immunity by using two distinct measures: enhancing the effector cell functions such as antigen presentation capacity of APCs and tumor cell killing capacity of cytotoxic cells, and reactivating the immune system in immune-suppressive tumor microenvironments. Here, we will summarize the current status and discuss the future perspective on immune therapy for HCC. 展开更多

For those who diagnose and treat RCC, it is important to understand the new developments. In recent years, many new renal tumors have been described and defined, and our understanding of the biology and clinical correlates of these tumors is changing. Evolving concepts in Xp11 translocation carcinoma, mucinous tubular and spindle cell carcinoma, multilocular cystic clear cell RCC, and carcinoma associated with neuroblastoma are addressed within this review. Tubulocystic carcinoma, thyroid-like follicular carcinoma of kidney, acquired cystic disease-associated RCC, and clear cell papillary RCC are also described. Finally, candidate entities, including RCC with t(6;11) translocation, hybrid oncocytoma/chromophobe RCC, hereditary leiomyomatosis and RCC syndrome, and renal angiomyoadenomatous tumor are reviewed. Knowledge of these new entities is important for diagnosis, treatment and subsequent prognosis. This review provides a targeted summary of new developments in RCC. 展开更多

Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is the most frequent primary liver cancer with a high mortality rate. While chronic hepatitis B virus (HBV) and hepatitis C virus (HCV) infections represent the leading risk factors worldwide, the spreading of metabolic disorders, such as diabetes, obesity and non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) justifies the increasing attention on their oncogenic mechanisms. This review discusses about the main pathogenic mechanisms implicated in occurrence of HCC in presence of viral and metabolic diseases. Additionally, it points to the importance of clinical surveillance for those patients considered at risk of HCC and highlights the strategical role of serum markers, such as alfa-fetoprotein (αFP) and Protein Induced by Vitamin K Absence or Antagonist II (PIVKA-II), which, in association to a strictly instrumental follow-up, contribute to the early detection of hepatic nodules with a better prognosis for affected patients. 展开更多

Photosynthetic capacity for heritage (Taewa) and modern potato cultivars were compared at different water and nitrogenregimes in the glasshouse and field. The glasshouse was 2*2*4 factorial design with two irrigation: 100% ET and 60% ET;two applied N: 50 kg N ha-1 and 200 kg N ha-1, two Taewa (Moe Moe, Tutaekuri) and two modern potatoes (Moonlight, Agria). The 2009/2010 field experiment was a split-plot, with irrigation and rain-fed regimes as the main treatments: four potatoes above were sub-treatments. The 2010/2011 field experiment was a split-split-plot, with three water regimes as the main treatments: three cultivars (Moe Moe, Tutaekuri, and Agria) were subplots;two N rates were sub-sub-treatments. Gaseous exchange was measured by CIRAS-2 at different days from emergence. Leaf water potential was measured using pressure chamber method. Taewa achieved high photosynthetic WUE in glasshouse and 2010/2011 experiment by maintaining high An, low gs and low Ci compared to modern cultivars (p The An, gs and T increased with irrigation and N increase while decreasing Ci (p < 0.01). Water stress significantly increased VPD resulting in low An and photosynthetic WUE in Moonlight in the glasshouse. The leaf water potential for Taewa was very tolerant while modern potatoes were weakened by water stress. The study indicated that Taewa can be scheduled at partial irrigation without more detrimental effects on photosynthetic capacity while modern potatoes need full irrigation to avoid detrimental effects on photosynthetic capacity. 展开更多

目的:探讨促甲状腺激素(thyroid stimulating hormone,TSH)抑制疗法对分化型甲状腺癌(differentiated thyroid carcinoma,DTC)患者术后血清甲状腺球蛋白(thyroglobulin,Tg)、血管内皮生长因子(vascular endothelial growth factor,VEGF... 目的:探讨促甲状腺激素(thyroid stimulating hormone,TSH)抑制疗法对分化型甲状腺癌(differentiated thyroid carcinoma,DTC)患者术后血清甲状腺球蛋白(thyroglobulin,Tg)、血管内皮生长因子(vascular endothelial growth factor,VEGF)、肿瘤特异性生长因子(tumors pecific growth factor,TSGF)、白细胞分化抗原44变异型6(CD44V6)、可溶性白细胞介素-2受体(soluble interleukin-2receptor,sIL-2R)及T淋巴细胞亚群水平的影响。方法:选择2014年1月~2017年1月我院收治的接受甲状腺全切手术治疗的100例DTC患者,随机分为对照组和实验组,各50例。对照组患者常规给予甲状腺素替代治疗,实验组患者给予TSH抑制疗法(口服左甲状腺素钠片,控制血清TSH水平低于0.1mU/L),两组患者均给予治疗1个月。比较两组患者治疗前后血清Tg、VEGF、TSGF、CD44V6、sIL-2R水平及外周血CD3^+、CD4^+、CD8^+水平。结果:两组治疗前的血清Tg、VEGF、TSGF、CD44V6、sIL-2R水平比较,均无显著性差异(P>0.05);两组治疗后的血清Tg、VEGF、TSGF、CD44V6、sIL-2R水平相比治疗前均较低,且实验组治疗后血清Tg、VEGF、TSGF、CD44V6、sIL-2R水平变化均显著优于对照组(P<0.05)。两组治疗前的外周血CD3^+、CD4^+、CD8^+水平比较,均无显著性差异(P>0.05);两组治疗后的外周血CD3^+、CD4^+水平相比治疗前均较高、CD8^+水平相比治疗前均较低,且实验组治疗后血外周血CD3^+、CD4^+、CD8^+水平变化均优于对照组,具有显著性差异(P<0.05)。结论:DTC行甲状腺全切手术治疗后接受TSH抑制疗法能够有效降低血清Tg、VEGF、TSGF、CD44V6、sIL-2R水平,改善细胞免疫功能,值得在临床上推广应用。 展开更多

Osteoclast differentiation depends on receptor activator of nuclear factor-κB(RANK) signaling,which can be divided into triggering,amplifying and targeting phases based on how active the master regulator nuclear factor of activated T-cells cytoplasmic 1(NFATc1) is. The triggering phase is characterized by immediateearly RANK signaling induced by RANK ligand(RANKL) stimulation mediated by three adaptor proteins,tumor necrosis factor receptor-associated factor 6,Grb-2-associated binder-2 and phospholipase C(PLC)γ2,leading to activation of IκB kinase,mitogen-activated protein kinases and the transcription factors nuclear factor(NF)-κB and activator protein-1(AP-1). Mice lacking NF-κB p50/p52 or the AP-1 subunit c-Fos(encoded by Fos) exhibit severe osteopetrosis due to a differentiation block in the osteoclast lineage. The amplification phase occurs about 24 h later in a RANKLinduced osteoclastogenic culture when Ca2+ oscillation starts and the transcription factor NFATc1 is abundantly produced. In addition to Ca2+ oscillation-dependent nuclear translocation and transcriptional auto-induction of NFATc1,a Ca2+ oscillation-independent,osteoblastdependent mechanism stabilizes NFATc1 protein in dif-ferentiating osteoclasts. Osteoclast precursors lacking PLCγ2,inositol-1,4,5-trisphosphate receptors,regulator of G-protein signaling 10,or NFATc1 show an impaired transition from the triggering to amplifying phases. The final targeting phase is mediated by activation of numerous NFATc1 target genes responsible for cell-cell fusion and regulation of bone-resorptive function. Antibody-mediated rejection(AMR) in liver transplantation has long been underestimated. The concept of the liver as an organ susceptible to AMR has emerged in recent years, not only in the context of the major histocompatibility complex with the presence of HLA donor-specific antibodies, but also with antigens regarded as "minor", whose role in AMR has been demonstrated. Among them, antibodies against glutathione S-transferase T1 have been found in 100% of patients with de novo autoimmune hepatitis(dn AIH) when studied. In its latest update, the Banff Working Group for liver allograft pathology proposed replacing the term dn AIH with plasma cell(PC)-rich rejection. Antibodies to glutathione S-transferase T1(GSTT1) in null recipients of GSTT1 positive donors have been included as a contributory but nonessential feature of the diagnosis of PC-rich rejection. Also in this update, non-organ-specific anti-nuclear or smooth muscle autoantibodies are no longer included as diagnostic criteria. Although initially found in a proportion of patients with PC-rich rejection, the presence of autoantibodies is misleading since they are not diseasespecific and appear in many different contexts as bystanders. The cellular types and proportions of the inflammatory infiltrates in diagnostic biopsies have been studied in detail very recently. PC-rich rejection biopsies present a characteristic cellular profile with a predominance of T lymphocytes and a high proportion of PCs, close to 30%, of which 16.48% are Ig G4+. New data on the relevance of GSTT1-specific T lymphocytes to PC-rich rejection will be discussed in this review. 展开更多

The ratio of transpiration to evapotranspiration (T/ET) is a key parameter for quantifying water use efficiency of ecosystems and understanding the interaction between ecosystem carbon uptake and water cycling in the context of global change.The estimation of T/ET has been paid increasing attention from the scientific community in recent years globally.In this paper,we used the Priestly-Taylor Jet Propulsion Laboratory Model (PT-JPL) driven by regional remote sensing data and gridded meteorological data,to simulate the T/ET in forest ecosystems along the North-South Transect of East China (NSTEC) during 2001-2010,and to analyze the spatial distribution and temporal variation of T/ET,as well as the factors influencing the variation in T/ET.The results showed that:(1) The PT-JPL model is suitable for the simulation of evapotranspiration and its components of forest ecosystems in Eastern China,and has relatively good stability and reliability.(2) Spatial distribution of T/ET in forest ecosystems along NSTEC was heterogeneous,i.e.,T/ET was higher in the north and lower in the south,with an averaged value of 0.69;and the inter-annual variation of T/ET showed a significantly increasing trend,with an increment of 0.007/yr (p<0.01).(3) Seasonal and inter- annual variations of T/ET had different dominant factors.Temperature and EVI can explain around 90%(p<0.01) of the seasonal variation in T/ET,while the inter-annual variation in T/ET was mainly controlled by EVI (53%,p<0.05). 展开更多
