Along with the growing integration of renewable energy resources,the new power systems,which are dominated by inverter-based resources(IBRs),are facing critical challenges in both planning and operation stages.The conventionally used system strength metric,short-circuit ratio(SCR),exhibits limitations in assessing connections of new IBRs due to their unique dynamic behaviour and control interactions.In this paper,the definition of system strength is reviewed.The underlying principles of conventional SCR and its variants are then discussed,with their constraints explained.To describe the system strength in a more comprehensive way,this paper further classifies system strength into three categories:quasi-static,small-signal,and large-signal.For each category,relevant metrics are introduced and their relative merits are discussed.Electromagnetic transient simulations are presented to illustrate key insights. 展开更多

In this paper,a strength-constrained unit commitment(UC)model incorporating system strength constraints based on the weighted short-circuit ratio(WSCR)is proposed.This model facilitates the comprehensive assessment of area-wide system strength in power systems with high inverter-based resource(IBR)penetration,thereby contributing to the mitigation of weak grid issues.Unlike traditional models,this approach considers the interactions among multiple IBRs.The UC problem is initially formulated as a mixed-integer nonlinear programming(MINLP)model,reflecting WSCR and bus impedance matrix modification constraints.To enhance computational tractability,the model is transformed into a mixed-integer linear programming(MILP)form.The effectiveness of the proposed approach is validated through simulations on the IEEE 5-bus,IEEE 39-bus,and a modified Korean power system,demonstrating the ability of the proposed UC model enhancing system strength compared to the conventional methodologies. 展开更多

Inverter-based resources(IBRs),such as wind and photovoltaic generation,are characterized by low capacity and extensive distribution,which can exacerbate the weak properties of power systems.Precise identification of weak system status is essential for ensuring the security and economic efficiency of IBR integration.This paper proposes the index of the multiple renewable short-circuit ratio(MRSCR)and its critical value calculated by the voltage(CMRSCR)to provide a comprehensive assessment of power system strength in the presence of high IBR penetration,enhancing the accuracy and reliability of system strength evaluation.First,we introduce a single-infeed equivalent model of the power system integrating multiple IBRs.We examine the factors associated with system properties that are crucial in the strength assessment process.Subsequently,the MRSCR is derived from this analysis.The MRSCR describes the connection between system strength and voltage variation caused by power fluctuations.This implies that voltage variation caused by IBR power fluctuations is more pronounced under weak grid conditions.Following this,the CMRSCR is proposed to precisely evaluate the stability boundary.The disparity between MRSCR and CMRSCR is utilized to evaluate the stability margin of the power system.Unlike a fixed value,the CMRSCR exhibits higher sensitivity as the system approaches a critical state.These indexes have been implemented in the PSD power tools and power system analysis software package,facilitating engineering calculation and analysis of bulk power systems in China.Finally,simulation results validate the effectiveness of the proposed indexes and the research findings. 展开更多

Increase in permeability of renewable energy sources(RESs)leads to the prominent problem of voltage stability in power system,so it is urgent to have a system strength evaluation method with both accuracy and practicability to control its access scale within a reasonable range.Therefore,a hybrid intelligence enhancement method is proposed by combining the advantages of mechanism method and data driven method.First,calculation of critical short circuit ratio(CSCR)is set as the direction of intelligent enhancement by taking the multiple renewable energy station short circuit ratio as the quantitative indicator.Then,the construction process of CSCR dataset is proposed,and a batch simulation program of samples is developed accordingly,which provides a data basis for subsequent research.Finally,a multi-task learning model based on progressive layered extraction is used to simultaneously predict CSCR of each RESs connection point,which significantly reduces evaluation error caused by weak links.Predictive performance and anti-noise performance of the proposed method are verified on the CEPRI-FS-102 bus system,which provides strong technical support for real-time monitoring of system strength. 展开更多

The other experiment was conducted, by testing anti-drawing strength of these root systems in the Albazzia and Eucalypt lands. These two experiments had an aim to give insights into the maximum tensile strength and anti-drawing strength of the root systems. Results indicated that the maximum tensile strength of root system is in an exponential relation with the diameter of root system while the maximum tensile strength is positively correlative with the diameter of root system. Anti-drawing force of root system together with root diameter, length, and soil bulk density are folded into a regression equation in an attempt to figure out the static friction coefficient between root system and its ambient soil. 展开更多

Coronary artery calcium data and reporting system(CAC-DRS)is a recently introduced standardized reporting system for calcium scoring on computed tomography.CAC-DRS provides four risk categories(0,1,2 and 3)along with treatment recommendations for each category.As with any other new reporting platform,CAC-DRS has both advantages and disadvantages.Improved communication,better clarity of details,organized management recommendations and utility in future research and education are the major strengths of CAC-DRS.It has many limitations such as questionable need for a new system,few missing components,use of a less accurate visual method and treatment suggestions based on expert opinion instead of clinical trials.In this contemporary review,we discuss the new reporting system CAC-DRS,its application,strengths and limitations and conclude with some remarks for the future. 展开更多

Efficient and accurate strength analysis of bolted connections is essential in analyzing the integral thermal protection system(ITPS) of hypersonic vehicles, since the system bears severe loads and structural failures usually occur at the connections. Investigations of composite mechanical properties used in ITPS are still in progress as the architecture of the composites is complex. A new method is proposed in this paper for strength analysis of bolted connections by investigating the elastic behavior and failure strength of three-dimensional C/C orthogonal composites used in ITPS. In this method a multi-scale finite element method incorporating the global–local method is established to ensure high efficiency in macro-scale and precision in meso-scale in analysis.Simulation results reveal that predictions of material properties show reasonable accuracy compared with test results. And the multi-scale method can analyze the strength of connections efficiently and accurately. 展开更多

A novel flocking control approach is proposed for multi-agent systems by integrating the variables of velocities, motion directions, and positions of agents. A received signal strength indicator (RSSI) is applied as a variable to estimate the inter-distance between agents. A key parameter that contains the local information of agents is defined, and a multi-variable controller is proposed based on the parameter. For the position control of agents, the RSSI is introduced to substitute the distance as a control variable in the systems. The advantages of RSSI include that the relative distance between every two agents can be adjusted through the communication quality under different environments, and it can shun the shortage of the limit of sensors. Simulation studies demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed control approach. 展开更多

石灰石-粉煤灰-水泥(LF^(3))作为一种新型辅助胶凝材料,具备良好的环境适应性和力学性能。然而,当前对其水化机制与强度发展规律的理论研究仍不充分。为此,综合考虑了石灰石、粉煤灰掺料的水化反应和火山灰反应过程,建立了LF^(3)胶凝体... 石灰石-粉煤灰-水泥(LF^(3))作为一种新型辅助胶凝材料,具备良好的环境适应性和力学性能。然而,当前对其水化机制与强度发展规律的理论研究仍不充分。为此,综合考虑了石灰石、粉煤灰掺料的水化反应和火山灰反应过程,建立了LF^(3)胶凝体系的水化动力学模型。模型基于氢氧化钙和铝酸盐反应机制,将水化伴生物(水、氢氧化钙)作为动态输入变量,模拟三元体系水化过程演化。进一步结合Powers强度理论,建立了水化程度驱动下的强度预测模型,并通过文献数据进行参数拟合与准确性验证。结果显示,模型预测强度与实测值相关性良好(R^(2)=0.99,RMSE=1.48 MPa),表明模型具备较强的适用性与泛化能力。研究表明,石灰石有助于提升早期强度,粉煤灰通过火山灰反应增强后期性能,LF^(3)体系整体优于二元复合胶凝材料及普通硅酸盐水泥。不同龄期下最优配比呈现由高石灰石-低粉煤灰向高粉煤灰-低石灰石转变的趋势。为LF^(3)胶凝体系的水化机制揭示与配比优化提供了理论支持,为低碳高性能混凝土设计提供预测工具。 展开更多

Effect of structural characteristics distribution on strength demand and ductility reduction factor of MDOF systems considering soil-structure interaction

It is known that structural stiffness and strength distributions have an important role in the seismic response of buildings. The effect of using different code-specified lateral load patterns on the seismic performance of fixed-base buildings has been investigated by researchers during the past two decades. However, no investigation has yet been carried out for the case of soil-structure systems. In the present study, through intensive parametric analyses of 21,600 linear and nonlinear MDOF systems and considering five different shear strength and stiffness distribution patterns, including three code-specified patterns as well as uniform and concentric patterns subjected to a group of earthquakes recorded on alluvium and soft soils, the effect of structural characteristics distribution on the strength demand and ductility reduction factor of MDOF fixed-base and soil-structure systems are parametrically investigated. The results of this study show that depending on the level of inelasticity, soil flexibility and number of degrees-of-freedoms (DOFs), structural characteristics distribution can significantly affect the strength demand and ductility reduction factor of MDOF systems. It is also found that at high levels of inelasticity, the ductility reduction factor of low-rise MDOF soil-structure systems could be significantly less than that of fixed-base structures and the reduction is less pronounced as the number of stories increases. 展开更多

为揭示全运会投掷项目竞技格局演变规律,以第13—15届全运会投掷项目竞赛数据为研究对象,采用静态与动态分析、区域对比、模型构建与预测等方法,系统探究省市竞技实力演变、区域差异及整体发展趋势,并构建“奖牌指标+成绩指标+潜力指标... 为揭示全运会投掷项目竞技格局演变规律,以第13—15届全运会投掷项目竞赛数据为研究对象,采用静态与动态分析、区域对比、模型构建与预测等方法,系统探究省市竞技实力演变、区域差异及整体发展趋势,并构建“奖牌指标+成绩指标+潜力指标”三维评价体系,基于灰色预测模型对第16届全运会进行展望。研究表明:近三届投掷项目省市格局呈现“传统强省稳中有调、新兴省市精准突破”特征,江苏、山东、河北稳居第一梯队,河南、湖北等通过专项深耕跻身第二梯队;区域竞技实力呈“东强西弱、北强南弱”格局,华东区域为核心竞争力区,区域差距持续扩大且两极分化显著;项目整体竞技水平稳步上升,男子铁饼、女子铅球等项目进步突出,训练科学化与政策支持为核心驱动力。构建的评价体系契合实际赛事格局,预测第16届全运会将延续“强省垄断、专项深耕”特征,江苏有望蝉联领跑,新兴省市将进一步冲击奖牌格局。 展开更多

高比例新能源多馈入系统(简称多馈入系统)中,电力电子变流器的大规模接入会引发一系列小干扰稳定问题,而系统电压支撑强度(简称系统强度)评估是分析此类问题的重要手段。针对现有研究忽略变流器无功支撑特性及实际运行工况的不足,提出... 高比例新能源多馈入系统(简称多馈入系统)中,电力电子变流器的大规模接入会引发一系列小干扰稳定问题,而系统电压支撑强度(简称系统强度)评估是分析此类问题的重要手段。针对现有研究忽略变流器无功支撑特性及实际运行工况的不足,提出一种面向多馈入系统的小干扰稳定性分析与强度评估方法。首先,建立计及无功支撑特性及实际运行工况的多馈入系统小干扰模型。其次,采用参与因子加权法构建等效同构多馈入系统。进而,基于模态解耦理论推导等效单馈入系统,以表征多馈入系统的小干扰稳定性。最后,提出计及无功支撑特性的系统强度评估指标,针对变流器控制结构和参数已知的白盒模型以及控制结构和参数未知的黑盒模型,分别设计相应的系统强度评估量化流程。仿真算例结果表明,所提出的方法能准确评估系统强度,且具有较好的工程适用性。 展开更多

草本植被根系对土体水力-力学特性的影响

草本植被因其对土壤水力-力学特性的显著调控作用,在边坡防护和生态修复中具有重要应用价值。通过降雨入渗模型试验和直剪试验,探讨了高羊茅和狗牙根两种典型草本植被根系对土壤水分、基质吸力、持水特性、非饱和渗透特性及抗剪强度的... 草本植被因其对土壤水力-力学特性的显著调控作用,在边坡防护和生态修复中具有重要应用价值。通过降雨入渗模型试验和直剪试验,探讨了高羊茅和狗牙根两种典型草本植被根系对土壤水分、基质吸力、持水特性、非饱和渗透特性及抗剪强度的影响。结果表明,草本植被根系通过吸水作用以及占据部分土壤孔隙,显著降低了土壤的饱和含水率,同时延缓了降雨过程中土壤含水率的快速上升。降雨过程中,草本植被根系延缓了土壤基质吸力的下降过程,提高了土壤的持水能力,并降低了非饱和渗透系数。根土复合体的黏聚力随着土壤含水率增加呈先增大后减小的趋势,两种植物根土复合体的黏聚力峰值对应的临界含水率区间为16%~18%。随着含水率增加,草本植被根系对土壤内摩擦角的影响逐渐增强,裸土与含根土体间的内摩擦角差异逐渐增大。两种植物根系对于土壤水分及土体抗剪强度存在差异化的调控机制,高羊茅通过深层粗根系统增强土体湿润条件与抗剪强度,而狗牙根依托浅层细根网络在低含水率时对黏聚力提升更显著。研究揭示了草本根系构型与非饱和土体功能演化的关联机制,为生态工程设计提供了理论依据。 展开更多

为探究不同冻融循环次数下的纯尾矿土、根-尾矿土的抗剪特性的影响规律,以鞍山市千山区某废弃尾矿库为背景,考虑1、5、10次冻融循环对根-土复合体抗剪特性的影响效果。结果表明,纯尾矿土及根-尾矿土的抗剪强度均随冻融循环次数增加而显... 为探究不同冻融循环次数下的纯尾矿土、根-尾矿土的抗剪特性的影响规律,以鞍山市千山区某废弃尾矿库为背景,考虑1、5、10次冻融循环对根-土复合体抗剪特性的影响效果。结果表明,纯尾矿土及根-尾矿土的抗剪强度均随冻融循环次数增加而显著降低;相同冻融次数和荷载下,根-尾矿土抗剪强度显著高于纯尾矿土;根系改良可有效缓解冻融劣化;纯尾矿土黏聚力随冻融次数增加而增强,然而内摩擦角却大幅下降,内摩擦角主导抗剪强度衰减;根-尾矿土复合体黏聚力呈先降后升趋势,内摩擦角降幅较小,根系通过增强土体摩擦作用抑制强度损失;相同条件下,根-尾矿土抗剪强度显著高于纯尾矿土。研究结果有助于尾矿库地质灾害治理,为尾矿库安全评价提供依据。 展开更多
