On the existence of delayed/undelayed full state feedback controllers, we present a sufficient condition and give a design method in the form of Riccati equation. The controller can not only stabilize the time-delay system, but also make the H∞ norm of the closed-loop system be less than a given bound. This paper introduces an optimized planning approach for integrating photovoltaic as distributed generation (PV-DG) into the radial distribution power systems, utilizing exhaustive load flow (ELF), loss sensitivity fa...This paper introduces an optimized planning approach for integrating photovoltaic as distributed generation (PV-DG) into the radial distribution power systems, utilizing exhaustive load flow (ELF), loss sensitivity factor (LSF), genetic algorithms (GA) methods, and numerical method based on LSF. The methodology aims to determine the optimal allocation and sizing of multiple PV-DG to minimize power loss through time series power flow analysis. An approach utilizing continuous sensitivity analysis is developed and inherently leverages power flow and loss equations to compute LSF of all buses in the system towards employing a dynamic PV-DG model for more accurate results. The algorithm uses a numerical grid search method to optimize PV-DG placement in a power distribution system, focusing on minimizing system losses. It combines iterative analysis, sensitivity assessment, and comprehensive visualization to identify and present the optimal PV-DG configurations. The present-ed algorithms are verified through co-simulation framework combining MATLAB and OpenDSS to carry out analysis for 12-bus radial distribution test system. The proposed numerical method is compared with other algorithms, such as ELF, LSF methods, and Genetic Algorithms (GA). Results show that the proposed numerical method performs well in comparison with LSF and ELF solutions.展开更多

This paper examines ...The integration of artificial intelligence into the development and production of mechatronic products offers a substantial opportunity to enhance efficiency, adaptability, and system performance. This paper examines the utilization of reinforcement learning as a control strategy, with a particular focus on its deployment in pivotal stages of the product development lifecycle, specifically between system architecture and system integration and verification. A controller based on reinforcement learning was developed and evaluated in comparison to traditional proportional-integral controllers in dynamic and fault-prone environments. The results illustrate the superior adaptability, stability, and optimization potential of the reinforcement learning approach, particularly in addressing dynamic disturbances and ensuring robust performance. The study illustrates how reinforcement learning can facilitate the transition from conceptual design to implementation by automating optimization processes, enabling interface automation, and enhancing system-level testing. Based on the aforementioned findings, this paper presents future directions for research, which include the integration of domain-specific knowledge into the reinforcement learning process and the validation of this process in real-world environments. The results underscore the potential of artificial intelligence-driven methodologies to revolutionize the design and deployment of intelligent mechatronic systems.展开更多
The present study aimed to design, develop, operate and evaluate a tourism planning support system that can be used to decide on places to eat lunch and dinner, sightseeing spots to visit along the way, and routes for...The present study aimed to design, develop, operate and evaluate a tourism planning support system that can be used to decide on places to eat lunch and dinner, sightseeing spots to visit along the way, and routes for visiting these destinations. This system was developed by integrating a web geographic information system (Web-GIS) and a sightseeing plan creation system (an eatery search system and a sightseeing route creation system). Additionally, the system was operated for one month in Central Yokohama City of Kanagawa Prefecture in Japan, and the total number of users was 79. Based on the results of the web questionnaire survey, user evaluations were particularly high for the function of sightseeing spot selection and the function of display of sightseeing plan information, and also for the entire system. From the results of the access analysis of users’ log data, the total number of sessions in the system was 263, 67% used mobile devices, and smartphones were used most frequently. Therefore, it is evident that the system was used by different types of devices just as it was designed for, and that the system was used according to the purpose of the present study, which is to support the food tourism planning of users.展开更多

Using the input/output feedback linearization approach and Lyapunov method, a control law is designed, which guarantees that the system output exponentially tracks the given desired output. The proposed controller is easy to compute and complement. To improve the positioning accuracy when a GPS signal is blocked for long time and solve the problem of the tra- ditional adaptive neuro-fuzzy inference system (ANFIS) method with poor dynamic adaptation and large calculation amount, a self-constructive ANFIS (SCANFIS) combined with the extended Kalman filter (EKF) is proposed for MEMS-INS errors modeling and predicting. It is the primary known cause of gast...Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori) is one of the most common pathogenic bacterial infections and is found in the stomachs of approximately half of the world’s population. It is the primary known cause of gastritis, gastroduodenal ulcer disease and gastric cancer. However, combined drug therapy as the general treatment in the clinic, the rise of antibiotic-resistant bacteria, adverse reactions and poor patient compliance are major obstacles to the eradication of H. pylori. Oral site-specific drug delivery systems that could increase the longevity of the treatment agent at the target site might improve the therapeutic effect and avoid side effects. Gastroretentive drug delivery systems potentially prolong the gastric retention time and controlled/sustained release of a drug, thereby increasing the concentration of the drug at the application site, potentially improving its bioavailability and reducing the necessary dosage. Recommended gastroretentive drug delivery systems for enhancing local drug delivery include floating systems, bioadhesive systems and expandable systems. In this review, we summarize the important physiological parameters of the gastrointestinal tract that affect the gastric residence time. We then focus on various aspects useful in the development of gastroretentive drug delivery systems, including current trends and the progress of novel forms, especially with respect to their application for the treatment of H. pylori infections.展开更多

Then, two recursive estimation methods are used to solve the parametric estimation problem for the considered class of the interconnected nonlinear systems. These methods are based on the recursive least squares techniques and the prediction error method. Convergence analysis is provided using the hyper-stability and positivity method and the differential equation approach. Water is the key medium to transport numerous constituents and to provide a platform for physiological processes to take place in the living organisms in general;it also participates actively in many of these processe...Water is the key medium to transport numerous constituents and to provide a platform for physiological processes to take place in the living organisms in general;it also participates actively in many of these processes. In humans, there are different vehicles to contain water and its constituents. Our objective is to find out whether there is an overall water-base circulation system in the human body by analyzing the updated findings of different research groups on the physiological functions of various seemingly isolated fluid systems. By 1963, there were five separate fluid systems discovered in mammalians: (i) The Primo Vasculature Fluid (PVF) with protein precursors and micro cells held in the Primo Vasculature System (PVS). (ii) Blood with its constituents held in the cardio vasculature. (iii) Extracranial interstitial fluid (ISF) whose vehicle had a very irregular structure—the interstitium all over the body. (iv) The cerebrospinal fluid had been considered to be within the brain ventricles and spinal canal. (v) The extra-cranial lymphatic system which drained ISF, and had been known to join the subclavian vein. Fluid (i) was first reported in 1963 and fluids (ii) to (v) have been known for many decades, but the failure to detect a lymphatic system inside the skull has also been a mystery for many decades. The intra-cranial ISF (which we name as BISF) has drawn little attention, apart from discussing the mechanism of the blood-brain-barrier. During the past decade, there has been direct evidence indicating that CSF and BISF are actually mixed. After that, the intracranial lymphatic system was discovered and confirmed in animal models only slightly over one year back, and we called such fluid as glymphatic-fluid. After reviewing the stated “classical” five fluid systems together with the new findings in Sections 2 - 7, we propose, for the first time, that the PVF, the blood, ISF, a mixture of CSF-BISF, and a mixture of glymphatic-fluid and lymph form an integrative circulation system in water base in the human and other mammalian bodies, as schematically represented in the last section. In this paper, we point out the positive correlation of chronic neuro degenerative diseases such as Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s diseases and the insufficient brain wastes clearance by the glymphatic system. We also discuss the role played by the venous vessels as part of such clearance in upright posture. Moreover, simple non-invasive maneuver techniques are introduced here, as one example of enhancement of glymphatic fluid flow out of the skull to join the lymphatic system. A series of questions are raised in Section 8, the answers to which would help us to understand the transition from physio- to pathological states in the development of many diseases. Detailed analysis of this paper leads us to consider that research in understanding this integrative circulation system is only at the infancy stage, and fluid dynamics investigation seems to be the plausible modality of approach in the near future.展开更多

The required information about uncertainties in the system is merely that the uncertainties are bounded, but the upper bounds are incompletely known. This paper can be viewed as an extension of the work in reference [1]. To compensate the uncertainties, an adaptive robust controller based on Lyapunov method is proposed and the design algorithm is also suggested. Compared with some previous controllers which can only ensure ultimate uniform boundedness of the systems, the controller given in the paper can make sure that the obtained closed-loop system is asymptotically stable in the large. Based on Lya-punov's stability theory, linear and nonlinear feedback control of adaptive H∞ synchronization is established in order to not only guarantee stable synchronization of both master and slave systems but also reduce the effect of external disturbance on an Hoe-norm constraint. Adaptive H∞ synchronization of chaotic systems via three kinds of control is investigated with applications to Lorenz and Chen systems. The intra-cranial ISF (which we name as BISF) has drawn little attention, apart from discussing the mechanism of the blood-brain-barrier. During the past decade, there has been direct evidence indicating that CSF and BISF are actually mixed. After that, the intracranial lymphatic system was discovered and confirmed in animal models only slightly over one year back, and we called such fluid as glymphatic-fluid. After reviewing the stated “classical” five fluid systems together with the new findings in Sections 2 - 7, we propose, for the first time, that the PVF, the blood, ISF, a mixture of CSF-BISF, and a mixture of glymphatic-fluid and lymph form an integrative circulation system in water base in the human and other mammalian bodies, as schematically represented in the last section. In this paper, we point out the positive correlation of chronic neuro degenerative diseases such as Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s diseases and the insufficient brain wastes clearance by the glymphatic system. We also discuss the role played by the venous vessels as part of such clearance in upright posture. Moreover, simple non-invasive maneuver techniques are introduced here, as one example of enhancement of glymphatic fluid flow out of the skull to join the lymphatic system. A series of questions are raised in Section 8, the answers to which would help us to understand the transition from physio- to pathological states in the development of many diseases. Detailed analysis of this paper leads us to consider that research in understanding this integrative circulation system is only at the infancy stage, and fluid dynamics investigation seems to be the plausible modality of approach in the near future.
文摘The problem of robust stabilization for nonlinear systems with partially known uncertainties is considered in this paper. The required information about uncertainties in the system is merely that the uncertainties are bounded, but the upper bounds are incompletely known. This paper can be viewed as an extension of the work in reference [1]. To compensate the uncertainties, an adaptive robust controller based on Lyapunov method is proposed and the design algorithm is also suggested. Compared with some previous controllers which can only ensure ultimate uniform boundedness of the systems, the controller given in the paper can make sure that the obtained closed-loop system is asymptotically stable in the large. Simulations show that the method presented is available and effective.

文摘Based on the interpersonal function in Halliday’s systemic functional grammar,"Miranda Warnings",the typical English Police Caution,is analyzed from the aspects of Mood system,Modality system and Appraisal system,with the aim of exploring its interpersonal meanings.Results show that:first,the declarative mood and interrogative mood used in the police caution protect the legitimate rights of the interrogated;second,the widely use of Low value modal verbs demonstrates a more humane and democratic legislation principle;and third,the absence of Affect resources and the frequent application of Capacity resources narrow the interpersonal distance between policeman and the interrogated,reflecting the transformation in policeman’s interrogation practices.
文摘Adaptive H∞ synchronization of chaotic systems via linear and nonlinear feedback control is investigated. The chaotic systems are redesigned by using the generalized Hamiltonian systems and observer approach. Based on Lya-punov's stability theory, linear and nonlinear feedback control of adaptive H∞ synchronization is established in order to not only guarantee stable synchronization of both master and slave systems but also reduce the effect of external disturbance on an Hoe-norm constraint. Adaptive H∞ synchronization of chaotic systems via three kinds of control is investigated with applications to Lorenz and Chen systems. Numerical simulations are also given to identify the effectiveness of the theoretical analysis.
文摘A simple criterion for delay-independent stability of large-scale linear time-varying systems is deduced by employing a type of Lyapunov function. The notable features of the results in this paper are its simplicity and efficiency in testing the stability large-scale linear time-varying systems. Some illustrative examples are given to demonstrate the advantages of the obtained results over those in literature.
