The oil reservoir depth that can be reached by drilling shallow horizontal wells with ordinary drilling tools is usually 500-1500m, showing good reservoir properties and faster drilling speed. Under the influence of geological change factors, horizontal wells will have to change their geological design in the actual drilling process because they cannot achieve the expected purpose of the oil layer. Accordingly, a series of complicated situations will also occur in the drilling process. The solution at this stage is to choose to inject cement to fill the well and re-drill, but the construction period of injecting cement is longer and the drilling cost is higher. In view of this, the suspended sidetracking technology is generally selected to realize shallow horizontal well drilling, which has higher efficiency and lower cost. 展开更多
