Although three-dimensional metal halide perovskites are promising candidates for direct X-ray detection,the ion migration of perovskites seriously affects the detector stability.Herein,face-/edge-shared 3D heterometallic glycinate hybrid perovskitoid Pb_(2)CuGly_(2)X_(4)(Gly=-O_(2)C-CH_(2)-NH_(2);X=Cl,Br)single crystals(SCs),in which the adjacent lead halide layers are linked by large-sized Cu(Gly)_(2)pillars,are synthesized in water.The Cu(Gly)_(2)pillars in combination with face-/edge-shared inorganic skeleton are found able to synergistically suppress the ion migration,delivering a high ion migration activation energy(Ea)of 1.06 eV.The Pb_(2)CuGly_(2)Cl_(4)SC X-ray detector displays extremely low dark current drift of 1.20×10^(-9)nA mm^(-1)s^(-1)V^(-1)under high electric field(120 V mm^(-1))and continuous X-ray irradiation(2.86 Gy),and a high sensitivity of 9,250μC Gy^(-1)cm^(-2)is also achieved.More excitingly,the Pb_(2)CuGly_(2)Cl_(4)nanocrystal can be easily dispersed in water and directly blade-coated on thin-film transistor(TFT)array substrate,and the obtained Pb_(2)CuGly_(2)Cl_(4)-based TFT array detector offers an X-ray imaging capability with spatial resolution of 2.2 lp mm^(-1). 展开更多

Design of a Compact Harmonic-Suppressed Rat-Race Coupler with Ultra-Broad Rejection Band

This paper presents a novel approach to design a compact circular rat-race coupler with an ultrawide stopband, with the aim to reduce its size while maintaining performance. The design methodology begins with a common miniaturization technique to replace the conventional quarter-wavelength transmission line with an equivalent low-pass filter loaded with parallel coupled line and radial stubs. Since the latter leads to produce higher order harmonics, parasitic open-ended stubs are then properly introduced in the structure not only to overcome the issue but also to produce controllable transmission zeros. A versatile analytical model is also developed taking into account manufacturing restrictions, which makes it possible to extract the physical parameters of the coupler unit-cell for a given desired compactness percentage with respect to the conventional rat-race coupler. A prototype is fabricated and measured to validate the design,demonstrating the predicted behavior fairly achieved by numerical analysis. A significant size reduction of about 86.1% was achieved compared to the conventional design, while effectively suppressing higher order modes up to 23.4 GHz(including the 13th harmonic based on |S11|>-5 dB and |S21|<-17 dB)with high isolation level(|S41|<-17 dB) between the ports. 展开更多

LiNi_(x)Co_(y)Al_(z)O_(2)(NCA)cathode materials are drawing widespread attention,but the huge gap between the ideal and present cyclic stability still hinders their further commercial application,especially for the Ni-rich LiNi_(x)Co_(y)Al_(z)O_(2)(x>0.8,x+y+z=1)cathode material,which is owing to the structural degradation and particles'intrinsic fracture.To tackle the problems,Li_(0.5)La_(2)Al_(0.5)O_(4)in situ coated and Mn compensating doped multilayer LiNi_(0.82)Co_(0.14)Al_(0.04)O_(2)was prepared.XRD refinement indicates that La-Mn co-modifying could realize appropriate Li/Ni disorder degree.Calculated results and in situ XRD patterns reveal that the LLAO coating layer could effectively restrain crack in secondary particles benefited from the suppressed internal strain.AFM further improves as NCA-LM2 has superior mechanical property.The SEM,TEM,XPS tests indicate that the cycled cathode with LLAO-Mn modification displays a more complete morphology and less side reaction with electrolyte.DEMS was used to further investigate cathode-electrolyte interface which was reflected by gas evolution.NCA-LM2 releases less CO_(2)than NCA-P indexing on a more stable surface.The modified material presents outstanding capacity retention of 96.2%after 100 cycles in the voltage range of 3.0-4.4 V at 1C,13%higher than that of the pristine and 80.8%at 1 C after 300 cycles.This excellent electrochemical performance could be attributed to the fact that the high chemically stable coating layer of Li_(0.5)La_(2)Al_(0.5)O_(4)(LLAO)could enhance the interface and the Mn doping layer could suppress the influence of the lattice mismatch and distortion.We believe that it can be a useful strategy for the modification of Ni-rich cathode material and other advanced functional material. 展开更多

In the algorithm, how to select the suppressed rate is a key step. In this paper, we give a method to select the fixed suppressed rate by the structure of the data itself. Aimed at the problem that the traditional suppressed fuzzy C-means clustering algorithms ignore the real needs of different objects, applying the same suppressed parameter for modifying membership degrees of all the objects, a novel partition region-based suppressed fuzzy C-means clustering algorithm with better capacity of adaptability and robustness is proposed in this paper. The model based on the real needs of different objects is built, making it clear to decide whether to proceed with further determination; in addition, the external user-defined suppressed parameter is automatically selected according to the intrinsic structural characteristic of each dataset, making the proposed method become robust to the fluctuations in the incoming dataset and initial conditions. Experimental results show that the proposed method is more robust than its counterparts and overcomes the weakness of the original suppressed clustering algorithm in most cases. 展开更多

Objective:To investigate the effects of Bortezomib and Dexamethasone combination on treating senile multiple myeloma and influence on immune suppressed factors and immune cell levels.Methods:A total of 80 cases of patients with multiple myeloma treated in our hospital from Oct 2013 to Jul 2015 were selected as investigate subjects. They were randomly divided to be observation group consisted of 43 cases and control group consisted of 37 cases. For observation group, treatment of Bortezomib and Dexamethasone combination was provided. For control group, Vincristine + Epirubicin + Dexamethasone treatment was provided. After three courses, effects on two groups of patients were compared, and immune suppressed factors and immune cell levels before and after treatment in different periods were compared.Results:After three courses of treatment, the total effective rate in observation group was significantly higher than control group. Before treatment, IL-6, IL-17, TGF-β, CD3+CD4+, CD3+CD8+ and CD3+CD4+/CD3+CD8+ between the two group of patients were compared, no significant difference showed;After treatment for 6 weeks, IL-6, IL-17 levels in observation group were significantly decreased comparing with the same group before treatment;After treatment for 12 weeks, IL-6, IL-17 and TGF-β levels in observation group were significantly decreased comparing with the same group before treatment;After treatment, IL-6, IL-17 levels in observation group were significantly lower than control group at the same phase. After treatment for 12 weeks, CD3+CD4+, CD3+CD4+/CD3+CD8+ in observation group were significantly higher than the same group before treatment, and significantly higher than control group at the same phase;CD3+CD8+ in observation group was significantly lower than the same group before treatment, and significantly lower than control group at the same phase. Conclusion:Compared with Vincristine + Epirubicin + Dexamethasone treatment, Bortezomib and Dexamethasone combination on treating senile multiple myeloma had more significant effects, which deserves further clinical researches. 展开更多

[Objectives]To explore the effects of heat clearing and stasis resolving method on prethrombotic state,inflammatory factors and T-lymphocyte subsets in peripheral blood of unexplained recurrent miscarriage(URM)patients with suppressed internal heat.[Methods]Thirty cases of URM patients with suppressed internal heat and 30 normal women were collected,and characteristics of changes in peripheral serum D-dimer(D-D),fibrin degradation product(FDP),fibrinogen(FIB),IL-6,IL-10 and TNF-α,CD,CD,CD,CD,CDlevels were detected.URM patients were treated with traditional Chinese medicine for clearing heat and resolving blood stasis for 3 menstrual cycles,and the changes of indicators before and after treatment were observed.[Results]Compared with normal women,the peripheral serum levels of D-D,IL-6,TNF-αand CDin URM patients with suppressed internal heat were increased(P<0.05),while the IL-10 lymphocyte level was significantly decreased(P<0.05);compared with that before treatment,the contents of D-D,IL-6,TNF-αand CDdecreased after 3 menstrual cycles(P<0.05),while the contents of IL-10 and CDT lymphocytes increased significantly(P<0.05).[Conclusions]The heat clearing heat and stasis resolving method can effectively improve the prethrombotic state of URM,and the action mechanism may be related to the regulation of immune and peripheral blood inflammatory factors. 展开更多

Simultaneous bandwidth(BW) enhancement and time-delay signature(TDS) suppression of chaotic lasing over a wide range of parameters by mutually coupled semiconductor lasers(MCSLs) with random optical injection are proposed and numerically investigated. The influences of system parameters on TDS suppression(characterized by autocorrelation function(ACF) and permutation entropy(PE) around characteristic time) and chaos BW are investigated. The results show that, with the increasing bias current, the ranges of parameters(detuning and injection strength) for the larger BW(> 20 GHz) are broadened considerably, while the parameter range for optimized TDS(< 0.1) is not shrunk obviously.Under optimized parameters, the system can simultaneously achieve two chaos outputs with enhanced BW(> 20 GHz)and perfect TDS suppression. In addition, the system can generate two-channel high-speed truly physical random number sequences at 200 Gbits/s for each channel. 展开更多

Fuzheng Jiedu granule exhibits a number of health benefits and it is thought that the mechanisms involved in these effects are due to the modulation of immunity. In this article, we studied the effect of Fuzheng Jiedu granule on immunological function and the expression of immune-related cytokines in immune-suppressed mice. 72 mice were randomly divided into six groups, with 12 in each group. The control groups included an untreated group, a negative control group(Cyclophosphamide) and a positive control group(Astragalus polysaccharide). There were three treated groups, which were given different doses of Fuzheng Jiedu granule: a low dose(100 mg kg^(–1)), a medium dose(400 mg kg^(–1)) and a high dose(600 mg kg^(–1)). With the exception of the untreated control animals, each group received an intraperitoneal injection of Cyclophosphamide(100 mg kg^(–1)) for 3 days to establish the immune-suppressed model. Mice were then treated for 19 consecutive days and, 24 h after the last treatment, blood was taken for the eyeballs and serum separation was performed. Analysis was made of the levels of related cytokines(IgA, IgG, IgM, IL-6, IFN-γ, C3, C4 and TNF-α), the transformation of lymphocytes and the immune organ indexes. The results showed that Fuzheng Jiedu granule can improve the levels of cytokines, the rate of proliferation of lymphocytes and the immune organ indexes of immune-suppressed mice. 展开更多

Aqueous zinc-ion batteries(AZIBs)have emerged as a promising high-efficiency energy storage system due to the high energy density,low-cost and environmental friendliness.However,the practical application of AZIBs is severely restricted by the challenges faced by the Zn anode,which include uncontrollable dendrite growth,corrosion and hydrogen evolution reaction.Herein,a simple and convenient physical vapor deposition(PVD)method is reported for fabricating uniform graphite as a protection layer on the surface of Zn anode.The high conductivity graphite layer on Zn anode(denoted as Zn@C)not only benefits the uniform distribution of the electric field,but also provides numerous Zn nucleation sites to regulate and navigate Zn-ion stripping/plating behaviors.Additionally,the graphite layer with a poor catalytic activity endows the Zn@C anode with a highly suppressed hydrogen evolution.Consequently,a hydrogen and dendrite free anode is achieved with artificial anticatalytic carbon layer on Zn anode,exhibiting a high reversibility and excellent cycling stability over 2600 h at the current density of 5 mA·cm^(-2)with a capacity of 2.5 mAh·cm^(-2)and longtime cycling stability for assembled full cells.This work strategically designs the properties of the artificial interface layer to effectively address various challenges simultaneously,which presents insights for the future development of high-performance rechargeable AZIBs. 展开更多

A new scheme is offered for minimizing carrier Rayleigh backscattering(CRB) in single feeder fiber based wavelength division multiplexed passive optical network(WDM-PON). The proposed scheme is based on single side band carrier suppressed(SSBCS) signal, both at network and receiver sides, used for the first time at optical line terminal(OLT) and optical network unit(ONU) sides. We use dual-drive Mach-zehnder modulator(DD-MZM) for generating SSB-CS signals, which decreases the expense per bit in full transmission. SSB-CS mitigates CRB, both at OLT and ONU sides, because of having no chance of reflections from the carrier. Since no extra dedicated RF or laser source is used at ONU side, we thus achieve cost effective colorless WDM-PON system. Suppressed signals from four channels, each of 10 Gbps, are multiplexed before injecting into the fiber span of 25 km at OLT. At ONU side, half of the downlink power is used for re-modulating the data signal. The simulation results show an errorfree transmission. Moreover, the detailed power budget calculations show that the proposed scheme can be sought out for splitting ratio up to 128. Hence it offers enough system's margin for unseen losses. 展开更多

A two⁃port encapsulated low⁃contrast grating with suppressed zeroth order under normal incidence is described in this paper.Based on such grating configuration,the improved efficiency and spectral bandwidth of the first order for TE and TM polarizations with a designed period of 1860 nm can be obtained.On the one hand,some of the accurate grating parameters were numerically optimized utilizing a rigorous coupled⁃wave analysis;on the other hand,the inherent physical mechanism suppressing the zeroth order through an encapsulated fused⁃silica grating was adequately interpreted on account of a simplified modal method.Encapsulated grating with a cover layer cannot be simply considered as adding a coating on it.Compared with reported surface⁃relief grating,all parameters of encapsulated grating should be re⁃optimized and the optimized performances of encapsulated grating were greatly improved.Therefore,the encapsulated grating can be potentially applied in writing fiber Bragg gratings. 展开更多

High-strength high-performance p-type(Bi,Sb)_(2)Te_(3)are of pivotal importance for near-room-temperature thermoelectric conversions,the reliable synthesis and fabrication has been viewed of imperative priority.It is known that the energy-favorable formation of anti-site Sb_(Te)’and vacancy v_(Sb)'''acceptor defects from high-temperature syntheses results in additional charge carriers and scattering centers for electrical and phonon transport.However,how p-type(Bi,Sb)_(2)Te_(3)with minimal lattice defects function remains to be scrutinized.Herein,we present the synergistic enhancements of mechanical robustness and thermoelectric property in crystallographic-defect-suppressed pristine(Bi,Sb)_(2)TeBi_(2)Te_(3)through a simple mechanical alloying combined with spark-plasma-sintering(SPS)process.The Sb_(Te)’and v_(Sb)'''acceptor defects were efficiently restrained,contributing to markedly increased charge carrier mobilities.A slightly enlarged band gap of 0.24 eV underpinned enhanced thermoelectric performance for pristine Bi_(0.3)Sb_(1.7)Te_(3)over a wide temperature range,delivering high zT300 K of 1.16 and zT_(ave)of 1.21 over 300-473 K.Interestingly,the confined in-situ grain coarsening during SPS with uniform dispersive nanopores readily endowed an ultra-high compressive strength of 206 MPa,surpassing that of reported(Bi,Sb)_(2)Te_(3)so far.A 7-pair module(coupled with n-Bi_(2)Te_(3))was fabricated,demonstrating a competitiveΔT over 70 K at T_(hot)=300 K.Furthermore,a power-generation module coupled with n-Mg_(3)SbBi registered a cutting-edge thermoelectric conversion efficiency of 9.5%at a temperature gradient of 250 K.The strategy eliminates the need of complex processing nor extrinsic doping for pristine(Bi,Sb)_(2)Te_(3),demonstrating great potentials in thermoelectric power generation and cooling applications. 展开更多

An approach for photonic generation of a frequency-octupled phase-coded signal based on carrier-suppressed high-order double sideband modulation is proposed and experimentally demonstrated. The key component of the scheme is an integrated dual-polarization quadrature phase shift keying modulator, which is used to achieve the carrier-suppressed high-order double sideband modulation. At the output of the modulator, two fourth-order optical sidebands are generated with the optical carrier suppressed. After that, a Sagnac loop incorporating a fiber Bragg grating and a phase modulator is employed to separate the two optical sidebands and phase modulate one sideband with a binary coding signal. The approach features large carrier frequency tuning range for the generated phase-coded signal from several megahertz to beyond the W-band. A proof-of-concept experiment is carried out. The 2 Gbit/s phase-coded signals with frequencies of 16.48, 21.92, and 29.76 GHz are generated. 展开更多

This paper intends to realize negative refraction with absorption suppressed by the electromagnetically induced transparency (EIT) in a dense four-level atomic system.Without the two equal transition frequencies responding to the probe field,the atomic system displays a negative refraction with the simultaneously negative permittivity and negative permeability (left-handedness).The response of the probe field is amplified and propagates transparency in some frequency extents.Therefore,our aim for searching the low-loss negative refraction can be achieved in the scheme,given the main applied limitation of the negative refractive materials is the large amount of dissipation and absorption.However,an excessive signal field intensity would increase the absorption near the resonance in our scheme. 展开更多

Astrocyte-targeted nanovesicle delivery of resveratrol activates SIRT1 to suppress neuroinflammation and restore neural homeostasis in epilepsy

Epilepsy is a complex neurological disorder aggravated by chronic neuroinflammation largely driven by reactive astrocytes.These cells promote epileptogenesis through persistent cytokine secretion and glial scar formation.Current antiepileptic drugs remain ineffective in targeting these mechanisms due to limited blood-brain barrier(BBB)permeability and poor astrocytic specificity.A transferrin-functionalized biomimetic nanotherapeutic loaded with resveratrol(RN@RTA)was developed to regulate astrocyte-mediated inflammation by activating sirtuin 1(SIRT1)and suppressing the mitogen-activated protein kinase/nuclear factor Kappalight-chain-enhancer of activated B cells(MAPK/NF-κB)axis.Using in vitro BBB models,primary astrocytes,and a pilocarpine-induced chronic epilepsy mouse model,we evaluated the capacity of RN@RTA to cross the BBB,inhibit inflammatory signaling,and reduce seizure activity.Mechanistic assays included immunoprecipitation of NF-κB complexes,cytokine quantification,RNA sequencing,and histopathological assessments of glial and synaptic markers.RN@RTA achieved 82%uptake by hippocampal astrocytes and significantly reduced Il6,Tnf-α,and Nlrp3 expression.SIRT1 activation disrupted the NF-κB p65/p300 complex,leading to transcriptional repression of inflammatory genes and enhancement of autophagy.In vivo,seizure frequency decreased by 67%,synaptic structure was preserved,and astrogliosis was markedly alleviated.The findings demonstrate a dual regulatory mechanism in which RN@RTA suppresses neuroinflammatory signaling and restores neural homeostasis,offering a promising molecularly targeted approach for refractory epilepsy. 展开更多
