In order to solve the large deformation controlling problem for surrounding rock of gob-side entry driving under common cable anchor support in deep mine, site survey, physical modeling experiment, numerical simulatio...In order to solve the large deformation controlling problem for surrounding rock of gob-side entry driving under common cable anchor support in deep mine, site survey, physical modeling experiment, numerical simulation and field measurement were synthetically used to analyze the deformation and failure characteristics of surrounding rock. Besides, applicability analysis, prestress field distribution characteristics of surrounding rock and the control effect on large deformation of surrounding rock were also further studied for the gob-side entry driving in deep mine using the cable-truss supporting system. The results show that, first, compared with no support and traditional bolt anchor support, roof cable-truss system can effectively restrain the initiation and propagation of tensile cracks in the roof surrounding rock and arc shear cracks in the two sides, moreover, the broken development of surrounding rock, roof separation and extrusion deformation between the two sides of the roadway are all controlled; second, a prestressed belt of trapezoidal shape is generated in the surrounding rock by the cable-truss supporting system, and the prestress field range is wide. Especially, the prestress concentration belt in the shallow surrounding rock can greatly improve the anchoring strength and deformation resisting capability of the rock stratum;third, an optimized support system of ‘‘roof and side anchor net beam, roof cable-truss supporting system and anchor cable of the narrow coal pillar" was put forward, and the support optimization design and field industrial test were conducted for the gob-side entry driving of the working face 5302 in Tangkou Mine, from which a good supporting effect was obtained.展开更多

Because of hydraulic-electromagnetic double supporting forms,the supporting capacity and stiffness of magnetic-liquid double suspension bearing(MLDSB)can be improved sharply and then it is more suitable for medium spe...Because of hydraulic-electromagnetic double supporting forms,the supporting capacity and stiffness of magnetic-liquid double suspension bearing(MLDSB)can be improved sharply and then it is more suitable for medium speed,heavy load and frequent-starting occasions.Due to the multiple uncertainty,such as the coupling,the unmodeled dynamics,the parameter perturbation and the external disturbance perturbation,the robust stability and stiffness of control system of MLDSB are hard to meet the design requirements.Firstly,the structural features and the regulation mechanisms of MLDSB are presented and the radial 4-DOF kinetic equations are established.Secondly,the influence factors of the control system's coupling on unbalanced vibration caused by the deviation of the rotor center of mass are revealed,and then the weighting function of suppressing the unbalanced vibration can be obtained.Finally,H∞ controller of MLDSB is designed with H∞ mixed-sensitivity method,and the control performances of H∞ controller is compared with the state feedback controller.The simulation results show that single degree of freedom(DOF)supporting system of MLDSB with H∞ controller has good robust stability,stiffness and the ability to suppress unbalanced external disturbances.This study can provide the theoretical reference for stabilized suspension and control of MLDSB.展开更多

For the hybrid multi-infeed HVDC system in which the receiving-end grid is a strong AC grid including LCC-HVDC subsystems and multiple VSC-HVDC subsystems,it has higher voltage support capability.However,for weak AC g...For the hybrid multi-infeed HVDC system in which the receiving-end grid is a strong AC grid including LCC-HVDC subsystems and multiple VSC-HVDC subsystems,it has higher voltage support capability.However,for weak AC grid,the voltage support capability of the multi-VSC-HVDC subsystems to the LCC-HVDC subsystem(voltage support capability-mVSCs-LCC)can resist the risk of commutation failure.Based on this consideration,this paper proposes an evaluation index called Dynamic Voltage Support Strength Factor(DVSF)for the hybrid multi-infeed system,and uses this index to qualitatively judge the voltage support capability-mVSCs-LCC in weak AC grid.In addition,the proposed evaluation index can also indirectly judge the ability of the LCC-HVDC subsystem to suppress commutation failure.Firstly,the mathematical model of the power flow of the LCC and VSC networks in the steady-state is analyzed,and the concept of DVSF applied to hybrid multi-infeed system is proposed.Furthermore,the DVSF index is also used to qualitatively judge the voltage support capability-mVSCs-LCC.Secondly,the influence of multiple VSC-HVDC subsystems with different operation strategies on the DVSF is analyzed with reference to the concept of DVSF.Finally,the indicators proposed in this paper are compared with other evaluation indicators through MATLAB simulation software to verify its effectiveness.More importantly,the effects of multi-VSC-HVDC subsystems using different coordinated control strategies on the voltage support capability of the receiving-end LCC-HVDC subsystem are also verified.展开更多

Farmer-managed irrigation systems(FMIS) in the high altitude valleys of the Karakorum,Pakistan, continue to be managed effectively despite increased pressure on the social arrangements that sustain them. Colonial era ...Farmer-managed irrigation systems(FMIS) in the high altitude valleys of the Karakorum,Pakistan, continue to be managed effectively despite increased pressure on the social arrangements that sustain them. Colonial era records shows that over a century ago government agencies undertook irrigation support projects. In the past three decades,government agencies and the non-government agency Aga Khan Rural Support Programme(AKRSP), which channels foreign funds into the region, have actively engaged in the provision of irrigation support. This article seeks to explore whether such projects support or undermine farmer-managed irrigation systems and the complex institutional arrangements that underpin them. Field research using ethnographic and participatory methods was conducted in spring 2013 in the upper Shigar valley, Skardu district, GilgitBaltistan. The findings show that irrigation development is a political activity that involves village-based actors, religious leaders, local politicians,and government and non-government agencies.Government agencies operate in a largely top-down,engineering mode, their larger projects limited to villages suffering water scarcity. The local government provides small funds for renovation work of FMIS,though allocation of funds is highly politicized. Nongovernment agencies, for a variety of reasons including donor-funding cycles, apply a one-size-fitsall ‘participatory' model in an attempt to socially engineer rules and institutions. In communities divided by factionalism the use of such external models that stress formation of committees are unlikely to yield positive results, and could instead contribute to undermining the very systems they seek to support. This research argues that irrigation interventions should take care to build upon the rich and complex social arrangements that have sustained FMIS through the centuries.展开更多

In underground mining,especially in entry-type excavations,the instability of surrounding rock structures can lead to incalculable losses.As a crucial tool for stability analysis in entry-type excavations,the critical...In underground mining,especially in entry-type excavations,the instability of surrounding rock structures can lead to incalculable losses.As a crucial tool for stability analysis in entry-type excavations,the critical span graph must be updated to meet more stringent engineering requirements.Given this,this study introduces the support vector machine(SVM),along with multiple ensemble(bagging,adaptive boosting,and stacking)and optimization(Harris hawks optimization(HHO),cuckoo search(CS))techniques,to overcome the limitations of the traditional methods.The analysis indicates that the hybrid model combining SVM,bagging,and CS strategies has a good prediction performance,and its test accuracy reaches 0.86.Furthermore,the partition scheme of the critical span graph is adjusted based on the CS-BSVM model and 399 cases.Compared with previous empirical or semi-empirical methods,the new model overcomes the interference of subjective factors and possesses higher interpretability.Since relying solely on one technology cannot ensure prediction credibility,this study further introduces genetic programming(GP)and kriging interpolation techniques.The explicit expressions derived through GP can offer the stability probability value,and the kriging technique can provide interpolated definitions for two new subclasses.Finally,a prediction platform is developed based on the above three approaches,which can rapidly provide engineering feedback.展开更多

A ground girder is laid on the preprocessed subgrade by gravity compaction and integrally uniformly supported by subgrade in maglev transit.The settlement of the maglev subgrade inevitably affects the vibration state ...A ground girder is laid on the preprocessed subgrade by gravity compaction and integrally uniformly supported by subgrade in maglev transit.The settlement of the maglev subgrade inevitably affects the vibration state of the medium and low speed maglev coupled system by the additional deformation of the maglev track.This study investigated the dynamic properties of the coupled vibration system affected by the subgrade settlement.First,a theoretical coupled vibration model of a maglev train-track-ground girder system with uneven subgrade settlement was proposed and verified.Then,the effect mechanism of the coupled system caused by the uneven subgrade settlement was explored.Finally,settlement types and subgrade support voiding were examined.The analysis showed that the uneven subgrade settlement considerably increased the dynamic responses of the levitation control system and maglev vehicle while having a minor influence on those of the track-ground girder.The influence of a single ground girder settling was the strongest,and adjacent sides’settling of two ground girders was the weakest for the vibration of a maglev train.An extremely large uneven settlement exceeding 6 mm led to active levitation control system instability.The subgrade support voiding enlarged the vehicle-induced vibration of the track ground girder.展开更多

The primary goal of this study is to provide an efficient numerical tool to analyze the seismic performance of nailed walls.Modeling such excavation supports involves complexities due partly to the interaction of supp...The primary goal of this study is to provide an efficient numerical tool to analyze the seismic performance of nailed walls.Modeling such excavation supports involves complexities due partly to the interaction of support with soil and partly because of the amplification of seismic waves through an excavation wall.Consequently,innovative modeling is suggested herein,incorporating the calibration of the soil constitutive model in a targeted range of stress and strain,and the detection of a natural period of complex systems,including soil and structure,while benefiting from Rayleigh damping to filter unwanted noises.The numerical model was achieved by simulating a previous centrifuge test of the excavation wall,manifested at the pre-failure state.Notably,the calibration of the soil constitutive model through empirical relations,which replaces the numerical reproduction of an element test,more accurately simulated the soil-nail-wall interaction.Two factors were crucial to a successful result.First,probing the natural period of the complicated geometry of the model by applying white noises.Second,considering Rayleigh damping to withdraw unwanted noises and thus assess their permanent effects on the model.Rayleigh damping was applied instead of filtering the obtained results.展开更多

文摘In the process of installing the steel dome with large span and high altitude, the construction technology of the arrangement, installation, unloading and dismantling of the lattice support system of the dome is studied. Combined with the economic and finite element analysis of the standard jig and Bailey jig to ensure the safety and feasibility of construction and to solve the important and difficult problems in the process of dismantling the support system after unloading, this paper will provide reference ideas for this kind of structure construction.
文摘This paper presents the specification language NUJSL and its supporting system.NUJSL is a modular specification language based on Jackson Program Design Method(JSP).With the module construction,it is convenient to use NUJSL to write larger specifications.The supporting system supports the incremental develop- ment of software specification in NUJSL,and implements the transformation both from specification to software procedural description in Jackson Schematic Logic(pseudo code)and from procedural description to PASCAL program.
文摘A multi-purpose prototype test system is developed to study the mechanical behavior of tunnel sup-porting structure,including a modular counterforce device,a powerful loading equipment,an advanced intelligent management system and an efficient noncontact deformation measurement system.The functions of the prototype test system are adjustable size and shape of the modular counterforce structure,sufficient load reserve and accurate loading,multi-connection linkage intelligent management,and high-precision and continuously positioned noncontact deformation measurement.The modular counterforce structure is currently the largest in the world,with an outer diameter of 20.5 m,an inner diameter of 16.5 m and a height of 6 m.The case application proves that the prototype test system can reproduce the mechanical behavior of the tunnel lining during load-bearing,deformation and failure processes in detail.

文摘For the hybrid multi-infeed HVDC system in which the receiving-end grid is a strong AC grid including LCC-HVDC subsystems and multiple VSC-HVDC subsystems,it has higher voltage support capability.However,for weak AC grid,the voltage support capability of the multi-VSC-HVDC subsystems to the LCC-HVDC subsystem(voltage support capability-mVSCs-LCC)can resist the risk of commutation failure.Based on this consideration,this paper proposes an evaluation index called Dynamic Voltage Support Strength Factor(DVSF)for the hybrid multi-infeed system,and uses this index to qualitatively judge the voltage support capability-mVSCs-LCC in weak AC grid.In addition,the proposed evaluation index can also indirectly judge the ability of the LCC-HVDC subsystem to suppress commutation failure.Firstly,the mathematical model of the power flow of the LCC and VSC networks in the steady-state is analyzed,and the concept of DVSF applied to hybrid multi-infeed system is proposed.Furthermore,the DVSF index is also used to qualitatively judge the voltage support capability-mVSCs-LCC.Secondly,the influence of multiple VSC-HVDC subsystems with different operation strategies on the DVSF is analyzed with reference to the concept of DVSF.Finally,the indicators proposed in this paper are compared with other evaluation indicators through MATLAB simulation software to verify its effectiveness.More importantly,the effects of multi-VSC-HVDC subsystems using different coordinated control strategies on the voltage support capability of the receiving-end LCC-HVDC subsystem are also verified.

文摘Center of gravity(COG)is an important parameter of projectiles and rockets,for which supporting reaction method(or support reaction method)is an important COG measurement method.Based on this supporting reaction method a novel design method is proposed to determine the key design parameters of the COG measurement system.The method can quantitatively analyze the influence of the design parameters on the COG accuracy,in the measurement system designed with supporting reaction method.Using the principle of static balance,the error propagation theory,and the system accuracy analysis method,the equal-range required sensor precision(RSP)surface and non-equal-range required sensor pair precision(RSPP)adapted surface are adopted.The influence of random errors(like sensor accuracy and distance calibration accuracy)is analyzed.The selection strategy of equal-range and non-equal-range sensors is chosen,and then the recommended calibration accuracy values are obtained.For the quality detection accuracy of±0.6 kg and the axial COG detection accuracy of±1.5 mm,the RSP surface is drawn by the proposed method,and the force sensor with±0.23 kg detection accuracy is selected.The experimental verification meets the accuracy requirements and verifies the effectiveness of the proposed design method for the system parameters of the COG measurement equipment.
文摘In this paper, probabilistic models for three redundant configurations have been developed to analyze and compare some reliability characteristics. Each system is connected to a repairable supporting external device for operation. Repairable service station is provided for immediate repair of failed unit. Explicit expressions for mean time to system failure and steady-state availability for the three configurations are developed. Furthermore, we compare the three configurations based on their reliability characteristics and found that configuration II is more reliable and efficient than the remaining configurations.

文摘Farmer-managed irrigation systems(FMIS) in the high altitude valleys of the Karakorum,Pakistan, continue to be managed effectively despite increased pressure on the social arrangements that sustain them. Colonial era records shows that over a century ago government agencies undertook irrigation support projects. In the past three decades,government agencies and the non-government agency Aga Khan Rural Support Programme(AKRSP), which channels foreign funds into the region, have actively engaged in the provision of irrigation support. This article seeks to explore whether such projects support or undermine farmer-managed irrigation systems and the complex institutional arrangements that underpin them. Field research using ethnographic and participatory methods was conducted in spring 2013 in the upper Shigar valley, Skardu district, GilgitBaltistan. The findings show that irrigation development is a political activity that involves village-based actors, religious leaders, local politicians,and government and non-government agencies.Government agencies operate in a largely top-down,engineering mode, their larger projects limited to villages suffering water scarcity. The local government provides small funds for renovation work of FMIS,though allocation of funds is highly politicized. Nongovernment agencies, for a variety of reasons including donor-funding cycles, apply a one-size-fitsall ‘participatory' model in an attempt to socially engineer rules and institutions. In communities divided by factionalism the use of such external models that stress formation of committees are unlikely to yield positive results, and could instead contribute to undermining the very systems they seek to support. This research argues that irrigation interventions should take care to build upon the rich and complex social arrangements that have sustained FMIS through the centuries.

文摘Effective wildland fire management requires real-time access to comprehensive and distilled information from different data sources.The Digital Twin technology becomes a promising tool in optimizing the processes of wildfire pre-vention,monitoring,disaster response,and post-fire recovery.This review examines the potential utility of Digital Twin in wildfire management and aims to inspire further exploration and experimentation by researchers and practitioners in the fields of environment,forestry,fire ecology,and firefighting services.By creating virtual replicas of wildfire in the physical world,a Digital Twin platform facilitates data integration from multiple sources,such as remote sensing,weather forecast-ing,and ground-based sensors,providing a holistic view of emergency response and decision-making.Furthermore,Digital Twin can support simulation-based training and scenario testing for prescribed fire planning and firefighting to improve preparedness and response to evacuation and rescue.Successful applications of Digital Twin in wildfire management require horizontal collaboration among researchers,practitioners,and stakeholders,as well as enhanced resource sharing and data exchange.This review seeks a deeper understanding of future wildland fire management from a technological perspective and inspiration of future research and implementation.Further research should focus on refining and validating Digital Twin models and the integration into existing fire management operations,and then demonstrating them in real wildland fires.

文摘In underground mining,especially in entry-type excavations,the instability of surrounding rock structures can lead to incalculable losses.As a crucial tool for stability analysis in entry-type excavations,the critical span graph must be updated to meet more stringent engineering requirements.Given this,this study introduces the support vector machine(SVM),along with multiple ensemble(bagging,adaptive boosting,and stacking)and optimization(Harris hawks optimization(HHO),cuckoo search(CS))techniques,to overcome the limitations of the traditional methods.The analysis indicates that the hybrid model combining SVM,bagging,and CS strategies has a good prediction performance,and its test accuracy reaches 0.86.Furthermore,the partition scheme of the critical span graph is adjusted based on the CS-BSVM model and 399 cases.Compared with previous empirical or semi-empirical methods,the new model overcomes the interference of subjective factors and possesses higher interpretability.Since relying solely on one technology cannot ensure prediction credibility,this study further introduces genetic programming(GP)and kriging interpolation techniques.The explicit expressions derived through GP can offer the stability probability value,and the kriging technique can provide interpolated definitions for two new subclasses.Finally,a prediction platform is developed based on the above three approaches,which can rapidly provide engineering feedback.

文摘Traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)represents a paradigmatic approach to personalized medicine,developed through the systematic accumulation and refinement of clinical empirical data over more than 2000 years,and now encompasses large-scale electronic medical records(EMR)and experimental molecular data.Artificial intelligence(AI)has demonstrated its utility in medicine through the development of various expert systems(e.g.,MYCIN)since the 1970s.With the emergence of deep learning and large language models(LLMs),AI’s potential in medicine shows considerable promise.Consequently,the integration of AI and TCM from both clinical and scientific perspectives presents a fundamental and promising research direction.This survey provides an insightful overview of TCM AI research,summarizing related research tasks from three perspectives:systems-level biological mechanism elucidation,real-world clinical evidence inference,and personalized clinical decision support.The review highlights representative AI methodologies alongside their applications in both TCM scientific inquiry and clinical practice.To critically assess the current state of the field,this work identifies major challenges and opportunities that constrain the development of robust research capabilities—particularly in the mechanistic understanding of TCM syndromes and herbal formulations,novel drug discovery,and the delivery of high-quality,patient-centered clinical care.The findings underscore that future advancements in AI-driven TCM research will rely on the development of high-quality,large-scale data repositories;the construction of comprehensive and domain-specific knowledge graphs(KGs);deeper insights into the biological mechanisms underpinning clinical efficacy;rigorous causal inference frameworks;and intelligent,personalized decision support systems.

文摘A ground girder is laid on the preprocessed subgrade by gravity compaction and integrally uniformly supported by subgrade in maglev transit.The settlement of the maglev subgrade inevitably affects the vibration state of the medium and low speed maglev coupled system by the additional deformation of the maglev track.This study investigated the dynamic properties of the coupled vibration system affected by the subgrade settlement.First,a theoretical coupled vibration model of a maglev train-track-ground girder system with uneven subgrade settlement was proposed and verified.Then,the effect mechanism of the coupled system caused by the uneven subgrade settlement was explored.Finally,settlement types and subgrade support voiding were examined.The analysis showed that the uneven subgrade settlement considerably increased the dynamic responses of the levitation control system and maglev vehicle while having a minor influence on those of the track-ground girder.The influence of a single ground girder settling was the strongest,and adjacent sides’settling of two ground girders was the weakest for the vibration of a maglev train.An extremely large uneven settlement exceeding 6 mm led to active levitation control system instability.The subgrade support voiding enlarged the vehicle-induced vibration of the track ground girder.

文摘In order to support the physical research on the EAST tokamak,a new positive ion source with designed beam energy of 120 keV was proposed to be developed.Accelerator structure is one of the key components of the ion source.Through the finite element analysis method,the electrostatic analyses of insulators and grid plates were carried out,the material and structure parameters of insulators were determined.The maximum electric field around each insulator is about 4 kV/mm,and the maximum electric field between grids is about 14 kV/mm,which can meet the 120 keV withstand voltage holding.The insulation system for the positive ion source accelerator with 120 keV is designed,and the connection and basic parameters of insulators and support flanges are analyzed and determined.

文摘The primary goal of this study is to provide an efficient numerical tool to analyze the seismic performance of nailed walls.Modeling such excavation supports involves complexities due partly to the interaction of support with soil and partly because of the amplification of seismic waves through an excavation wall.Consequently,innovative modeling is suggested herein,incorporating the calibration of the soil constitutive model in a targeted range of stress and strain,and the detection of a natural period of complex systems,including soil and structure,while benefiting from Rayleigh damping to filter unwanted noises.The numerical model was achieved by simulating a previous centrifuge test of the excavation wall,manifested at the pre-failure state.Notably,the calibration of the soil constitutive model through empirical relations,which replaces the numerical reproduction of an element test,more accurately simulated the soil-nail-wall interaction.Two factors were crucial to a successful result.First,probing the natural period of the complicated geometry of the model by applying white noises.Second,considering Rayleigh damping to withdraw unwanted noises and thus assess their permanent effects on the model.Rayleigh damping was applied instead of filtering the obtained results.
