Methods: The serum TSGF was tested in 69 patients with epithelial ovarian cancer, 28 patients with benign ovarian lesion and 61 healthy women. The serum levels of vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) and CA125 were determined in patients with epithelial ovarian cancer and in those with benign ovarian lesion. The correlations of TSGF with VEGF and CA125 were investigated. Results: The serum level of TSGF in patients with epithelial ovarian cancer was obviously higher than in patients with benign ovarian lesion and in healthy women (P<0.01). The serum level of TSGF in patients with epithelial cancer was associated with stage and grade. TSGF was highest in stage III, followed by stage IV, and was lowest in stage I-II. The TSGF level was lower in well-differentiated tumors and was higher in poorly differentiated tumor. There were no significant difference among diagnostic value of TSGF, VEGF, and CA125 in differentiation between epithelial ovarian cancer and benign ovarian lesion (P>0.05). The serum level of TSGF and VEGF and CA125 in patients with epithelial ovarian cancer showed positive correlation (P<0.01, P<0.05, respectively). Conclusion: There is no marked difference in diagnostic value among TSGF, VEGF and CA125. TSGF has a certain value in diagnosis of epithelial ovarian cancer, and is helpful to distinguish epithelial ovarian cancer from benign ovarian lesion.展开更多

Biochemical colorimetric assay were used to detect the serum TSGF level. Blood samples were collected at the time of initial diagnostic evaluation,before each chemotherapy session,and at follow-up visits. The serum TSGF level in dogs with malignant tumors,benign diseases,non-tumor diseases and healthy dog were 67. 3 ± 22. 1 U/mL,57. 3 ± 7. 58 U/mL,60. 2 ± 14. 2 U/mL and 54. 6 ± 3. 21 U/mL,the first group was statistically significant higher than the latter (P < 0. 05). 56. 6% malignant patients exceeded the upper limit of the normal reference range (61 U/mL). The samples were classified to groups according clinic stage. The TSGF level from malignant tumor groups were stage I 56. 8 ± 5. 93 U/mL. stage II 66. 7 ± 25. 7 U/mL,stage III 75. 6 ± 22. 7 U/mL and stage IV 73. 9 ± 29. 6 U/mL. Excluding stage I, the TSGF level of all stages are statistically significant higher than healthy group,respectively,the stage III was also statistically significant higher than stage I. Further follow-up study indicated that in entirely insect group,the TSGF level decreased after treatment and kept in low level. In the partly insect group,although the TSGF activity decreased in a short term after surgery,the TSGF level would increase again and kept in high level. This study proposes and systematically evaluates an optimized integration of warm surface seawater injection with depressurization for the long-term exploitation of marine natural gas hydrates.By employing comprehensi...This study proposes and systematically evaluates an optimized integration of warm surface seawater injection with depressurization for the long-term exploitation of marine natural gas hydrates.By employing comprehensive multiphysics simulations guided by field data from hydrate production tests in the South China Sea,we pinpoint key operational parameters—such as injection rates,depths,and timings—that notably enhance production efficiency.The results indicate that a 3-phase hydrate reservoir transitions from a free-gas-dominated production stage to a hydrate-decomposition-dominated stage.Moderate warm seawater injection supplies additional heat during the hydrate decomposition phase,thereby enhancing stable production;however,excessively high injection rates can impede the depressurization process.Only injection at an appropriate depth simultaneously balances thermal supplementation and the pressure gradient,leading to higher overall productivity.A“depressurization-driven sensible-heat supply window”is introduced,highlighting that timely seawater injection following initial depressurization prolongs reservoir dissociation dynamics.In this study area,commencing seawater injection at 170 d of depressurization proved optimal.This optimized integration leverages clean and renewable thermal energy,providing essential insights into thermal supplementation strategies with significant implications for sustainable,economically feasible,and efficient commercial-scale hydrate production.展开更多
As a crucial human activity,dam construction can profoundly impact the surface hydrology patterns.The Three Gorges Reservoir(TGR),as one of the largest hydraulic engineering projects in the world,has gained continuous...As a crucial human activity,dam construction can profoundly impact the surface hydrology patterns.The Three Gorges Reservoir(TGR),as one of the largest hydraulic engineering projects in the world,has gained continuous attention for its eco-hydrological effects.However,further investigation is necessary to understand the runoff and social impacts of the TGR on the Upper Yangtze River.This study first employed a modified SWAT model to simulate runoff,compared scenarios with and without the TGR,and finally evaluated water supply and demand in the Upper Yangtze River.The results showed a significant increasing trend in the surface water area of the Upper Yangtze River from 2000-2020.The modified SWAT model performs well in simulating the runoff,with Nash-Sutcliffe Efficiency and Percent Bias improved by 0.04-0.30 and 2-31.90,respectively.Scenario simulation results revealed that the TGR reduced seasonal differences in runoff.During the flood season,the runoff volume at the Yichang Station in the scenario with the TGR is lower than in the scenario without the TGR,peaking at 4500 m3/s.Conversely,in the dry season,the runoff volume of the scenario with TGR is higher,with a maximum increase of 1500 m3/s.The region exhibiting the greatest runoff variations is the Yangtze River's main stem in the Three Gorges Reservoir region.Besides,the TGR notably alleviated the water supply-demand imbalance in Chongqing during the winter and spring seasons,with a maximum increase of 0.16 in the supplydemand index.This study can contribute significantly to understanding the natural and social impacts of the TGR from the perspective of hydrological and scenario simulation.展开更多

文摘This study proposes and systematically evaluates an optimized integration of warm surface seawater injection with depressurization for the long-term exploitation of marine natural gas hydrates.By employing comprehensive multiphysics simulations guided by field data from hydrate production tests in the South China Sea,we pinpoint key operational parameters—such as injection rates,depths,and timings—that notably enhance production efficiency.The results indicate that a 3-phase hydrate reservoir transitions from a free-gas-dominated production stage to a hydrate-decomposition-dominated stage.Moderate warm seawater injection supplies additional heat during the hydrate decomposition phase,thereby enhancing stable production;however,excessively high injection rates can impede the depressurization process.Only injection at an appropriate depth simultaneously balances thermal supplementation and the pressure gradient,leading to higher overall productivity.A“depressurization-driven sensible-heat supply window”is introduced,highlighting that timely seawater injection following initial depressurization prolongs reservoir dissociation dynamics.In this study area,commencing seawater injection at 170 d of depressurization proved optimal.This optimized integration leverages clean and renewable thermal energy,providing essential insights into thermal supplementation strategies with significant implications for sustainable,economically feasible,and efficient commercial-scale hydrate production.

文摘As a crucial human activity,dam construction can profoundly impact the surface hydrology patterns.The Three Gorges Reservoir(TGR),as one of the largest hydraulic engineering projects in the world,has gained continuous attention for its eco-hydrological effects.However,further investigation is necessary to understand the runoff and social impacts of the TGR on the Upper Yangtze River.This study first employed a modified SWAT model to simulate runoff,compared scenarios with and without the TGR,and finally evaluated water supply and demand in the Upper Yangtze River.The results showed a significant increasing trend in the surface water area of the Upper Yangtze River from 2000-2020.The modified SWAT model performs well in simulating the runoff,with Nash-Sutcliffe Efficiency and Percent Bias improved by 0.04-0.30 and 2-31.90,respectively.Scenario simulation results revealed that the TGR reduced seasonal differences in runoff.During the flood season,the runoff volume at the Yichang Station in the scenario with the TGR is lower than in the scenario without the TGR,peaking at 4500 m3/s.Conversely,in the dry season,the runoff volume of the scenario with TGR is higher,with a maximum increase of 1500 m3/s.The region exhibiting the greatest runoff variations is the Yangtze River's main stem in the Three Gorges Reservoir region.Besides,the TGR notably alleviated the water supply-demand imbalance in Chongqing during the winter and spring seasons,with a maximum increase of 0.16 in the supplydemand index.This study can contribute significantly to understanding the natural and social impacts of the TGR from the perspective of hydrological and scenario simulation.

文摘Manganese dioxide(MnO_(2)),based on a two-electron-transfer deposition/dissolution chemistry,features an ultrahigh theoretical capacity(616 mAh·g^(−1)),a favorable redox potential(1.23 V vs.the standard hydrogen electrode),inherent nontoxicity,and low cost,making it a promising cathode candidate for high-energy aqueous batteries.However,its practical application is hindered by limited electrochemical reversibility and cycling stability,primarily attributed to the formation and accumulation of electrochemically inactive Mn species commonly known as“dead Mn”.This perspective provides an in-depth analysis of the“dead Mn”dilemma inherent in Mn^(2+)/MnO_(2) chemistry.First,the fundamental causes of“dead Mn”—insufficient electron supply and imbalanced(insufficient or excessive)proton supply,are systematically analyzed,as they detract from active material utilization,cycle life,and energy density.Then,mitigation strategies are examined from three aspects:preventing“dead Mn”formation caused by insufficient electron supply,mitigating“dead Mn”formation related to imbalanced proton supply,and activating and regenerating existing“dead Mn”.Finally,future research directions are visualized to enhance the practical viability of Mn^(2+)/MnO_(2) deposition/dissolution chemistry,aiming to catalyze advancements in high-energy aqueous battery systems.
