As the generating function of all disk instantons from the worldsheet point of view, it plays a crucial role in deriving some important properties of the compact Calabi Yau manifolds. By using the generalized GKZ hypergeometric system, we will calculate the D-brahe superpotentials of two non-Fermat type compact CMabi Yau hypersurfaces in toric varieties, respectively. Then according to the mirror symmetry, we obtain the A-model superpotentials and the Ooguri Vafa invariants for the mirror Calabi-Yau manifolds.展开更多

For all one-dimensional shape-invariant potentials with parameters related by translation, i.e. the first class of shapc-invariant potentials (SIP1),we can find their multi-parameter deformations with q acting as the deformation parameter, i.e. the second class of shape-invariant potentials (SIP2) with parameters related by scaling. In order to get closed solution of SIP2, we consider two infinitesimal intervals, one is close to q= 0 another close to q = 1, and show that in these intervals we can get separately two first-order approximate solutions in closed form, furthermore we prove that all SIP1 can be obtained by the limiting procedures for corresponding SIP2.展开更多

Specifically, we study this problem with the Neumann boundary condition, the periodic and antiperiodic boundary condition, and some mixed and complex boundary conditions. This is achieved by using an approach recently proposed which expresses the factorization of the partner Hamiltonians in terms of the probability density and current for the ground-state eigenfunction of one of them.展开更多

A new effective potential and its partner are derived from a superpotential so that all parameters are fitted by the experimental data. An analytical expression is obtained for the deuteron wave function and contributions of the orthogonal ^(13)S_(1) and ^(13)D_(1) states are determined, explicitly. Compared to one pion exchange, the superpotential produces an electrostatic as well as two pion exchange terms for the potential. The saddle point radius of the potential and the maximum of the wave function are linearly proportional. In comparison with other methods, the approach presented in this paper is a new and extensible symmetry-based approach that, despite its straightforward calculations and explicit analytical expressions, provides a good explanation for two-body effective interactions such as two-nucleon systems and diatomic molecules.展开更多

The first-five terms of the superpotential in the series of parameter β are given. The general form for the n-th term of the superpotential is also obtained, which could also be derived from the previous terms Wk, k 〈 n. From these results, it is easy to obtain the ground eigenfunction of the equation. Furthermore, the shape-invariance property in the series of parameter β is investigated and is proven to be kept. This nice property guarantees that the excited eigenfunctions in the series form can be obtained from the ground eigenfunction by using the method from the supersymmetric quantum mechanics. We show the perturbation method in supersymmetric quantum mechanics could completely solve the spin-weight spheroidal wave equations in the series form of the small parameter β.展开更多
