In this research, vibration and wave propagation analysis of a twisted micro- beam on Pasternak foundation is investigated. The strain-displacement relations (kine-matic equations) are calculated by the displacement fields of the twisted micro-beam. The strain gradient theory (SGT) is used to implement the size dependent effect at micro-scale. Finally, using an energy method and Hamilton's principle, the governing equations of motion for the twisted micro-beam are derived. Natural frequencies and the wave prop- agation speed of the twisted micro-beam are calculated with an analytical method. Also, the natural frequency, the phase speed, the cut-off frequency, and the wave number of the twisted micro-beam are obtained by considering three material length scale parameters, the rate of twist angle, the thickness, the length of twisted micro-beam, and the elastic medium. The results of this work indicate that the phase speed in a twisted micro-beam increases with an increase in the rate of twist angle. Moreover, the wave number is in- versely related with the thickness of micro-beam. Meanwhile, it is directly related to the wave propagation frequency. Increasing the rate of twist angle causes the increase in the natural frequency especially with higher thickness. The effect of the twist angle rate on the group velocity is observed at a lower wave propagation frequency. 展开更多

This paper is concerned with the wave propagation behavior of rotating functionally graded(FG)temperature-dependent nanoscale beams subjected to thermal loading based on nonlocal strain gradient stress field.Uniform,linear and nonlinear temperature distributions across the thickness are investigated.Thermo-elastic properties of FG beam change gradually according to the Mori–Tanaka distribution model in the spatial coordinate.The nanobeam is modeled via a higher-order shear deformable refined beam theory which has a trigonometric shear stress function.The governing equations are derived by Hamilton’s principle as a function of axial force due to centrifugal stiffening and displacement.The solution of these equations is provided employing a Galerkin-based approach which has the potential to capture various boundary conditions.By applying an analytical solution and solving an eigenvalue problem,the dispersion relations of rotating FG nanobeam are obtained.Numerical results illustrate that various parameters including temperature change,angular velocity,nonlocality parameter,wave number and gradient index have significant effects on the wave dispersion characteristics of the nanobeam under study.The outcome of this study can provide beneficial information for the next-generation research and the exact design of nano-machines including nanoscale molecular bearings,nanogears,etc. 展开更多

A mechanical model is proposed for the system of elastic beam and strain-softening pillar where strain localization is initiated at peak shear stress. To obtain the plastic deformation of the pillar due to the shear slips of multiple shear bands, the pillar is divided into several narrow slices where compressive deformation is treated as uniformity. In the light of the compatibility condition of deformation, the total compressive displacement of the pillar is equal to the displacement of the beam in the middle span. An instability criterion is derived analytically based on the energy principle using a known size of localization band according to gradient dependent plasticity. The main advantage of the present model is that the effects of the constitutive parameters of rock and the geometrical size of structure are reflected in the criterion. The condition that the derivative of distributed load with respect to the deflection of the beam in the middle span is less than zero is not only equivalent to, but also even more concise in form than the instability criterion. To study the influences of constitutive parameters and geometrical size on stability, some examples are presented. 展开更多

Based on the theory of concrete structure, a new expression was derived for lagged strain of fiber-reinforced polymer (FLIP) laminates in reinforced concrete (RC) beams strengthened with FRP. The influence of different preloaded states and nonlinear stress-strain relationship of compressed concrete were both taken into account in this approach. Then a simplified expression was given by ignoring tensile resistance of concrete. Comparison of analytical predictions with experimental results indicates satisfactory accuracy of the procedures. The errors are less than 8% and 10% respectively when the tensile resistance of concrete is or not considered. While the maximum error of existing procedures is up to 60%. 展开更多

结构变形作为结构健康监测的重要指标之一,对结构强度的性能评估至关重要,在实际工程中,由于工程用途等原因,应变传感器的安装数量和位置受限,导致结构变形重构精度降低。为解决上述问题,本文提出一种基于二节点逆梁单元的应变场重构算... 结构变形作为结构健康监测的重要指标之一,对结构强度的性能评估至关重要,在实际工程中,由于工程用途等原因,应变传感器的安装数量和位置受限,导致结构变形重构精度降低。为解决上述问题,本文提出一种基于二节点逆梁单元的应变场重构算法。首先采用二节点梁单元对结构进行离散,基于Timoshenko梁理论以及最小二乘误差理论构建单元内理论应变与实测应变的误差函数,通过离散应变测点重构结构应变场分布,并以此为基础重构结构变形。分别通过ABAQUS仿真分析与实验验证算法的有效性,结果表明,此算法在应变测点数量较少时,可以有效地重构结构变形,与直接使用测点应变数据相比,相对误差减小了5%,对结构健康监测具有重要意义。 展开更多

应变梁是应变传感器高精度校准的重要工具。但受到激励衰减和响应测不准的双重影响,多源载荷作用下的应变梁校准模型极易出现偏差。为此,提出了多源载荷校准误差估计方法。该方法根据应变梁悬臂的受力特性,分析了多源激励与测量切面结... 应变梁是应变传感器高精度校准的重要工具。但受到激励衰减和响应测不准的双重影响,多源载荷作用下的应变梁校准模型极易出现偏差。为此,提出了多源载荷校准误差估计方法。该方法根据应变梁悬臂的受力特性,分析了多源激励与测量切面结构响应之间的载荷传递关系,建立了测量切面应力模型;在最小二乘法的基础上,通过线性经验验证和抵消策略,对输入-输出多变量误差进行近似线性拟合,建立了多变量误差正规方程;采用矩阵求逆运算方法实现正规方程的回归系数辨识。为了验证该方法的有效性,搭建了应变梁校准系统,完成了多源载荷加载实验。实验结果表明,该方法的准确度均优于0.99;相对估计误差优于1.3%。 展开更多

实测应变数据驱动的悬臂梁动态位移重构研究

动态位移对于评估结构安全性能具有重要意义,在实际工程中直接测量结构位移往往是比较困难或代价昂贵的。提出了一种使用应变响应重构悬臂梁结构动态位移的方法,该方法首次定义了不同结构曲率符号和标准侧判断准则,并使用随机子空间算... 动态位移对于评估结构安全性能具有重要意义,在实际工程中直接测量结构位移往往是比较困难或代价昂贵的。提出了一种使用应变响应重构悬臂梁结构动态位移的方法,该方法首次定义了不同结构曲率符号和标准侧判断准则,并使用随机子空间算法计算参与振动的应变振型,解决了振型叠加法计算流程不清晰和所需测点数较多的问题。接着通过积分得到相应的位移振型,由应变数据和应变振型求解出模态坐标时程,最终得到动态位移。通过悬臂梁的数值模拟和参数分析说明了所提方法的有效性,结果表明在只有4个应变测点的情况下误差仅有1.21%。最后,通过模型试验进一步验证了所提方法的可行性,结果表明最大误差在2.00%左右。所提方法仅需布置少量应变测点即可重构出任意位置的动态位移,可为悬臂类结构的变形测量提供新思路。 展开更多

为研究荷载形式及箍筋布置对钢筋混凝土梁腐蚀劣化特性的影响,进行了无荷载、单轴压荷载和双轴压荷载条件下的恒流加速腐蚀试验,并以无箍筋试件为对照组,分析了不同荷载作用下梁顶部的膨胀应变及保护层剥落特性。研究表明,具有正常箍筋... 为研究荷载形式及箍筋布置对钢筋混凝土梁腐蚀劣化特性的影响,进行了无荷载、单轴压荷载和双轴压荷载条件下的恒流加速腐蚀试验,并以无箍筋试件为对照组,分析了不同荷载作用下梁顶部的膨胀应变及保护层剥落特性。研究表明,具有正常箍筋的试件膨胀应变显著高于无箍筋试件;单轴压荷载条件下,膨胀应变相较无荷载试件有所降低,而双轴15%抗压强度荷载下膨胀应变最小,表明荷载压实效应对裂缝扩展具有一定抑制作用。此外,双轴荷载条件下,当荷载水平提高时,泊松效应导致混凝土垂直方向的拉伸变形加剧,裂缝迅速贯通,保护层剥落范围和深度显著增加,表现出更严重的劣化特征。研究结果为钢筋混凝土结构在实际服役环境中的耐久性评估和维护策略制定提供了重要的理论依据,有助于推动基础设施工程的可持续发展。 展开更多

为了研究爆炸荷载作用下钢筋混凝土(RC)构件的缩尺效应,基于现有的不同缩尺系数RC构件的爆炸试验数据,建立数值模型,并重点讨论混凝土材料应变率的缩尺效应,论证采用缩尺有限元模型进行原型结构动力响应预测的可行性。计算结果表明,如... 为了研究爆炸荷载作用下钢筋混凝土(RC)构件的缩尺效应,基于现有的不同缩尺系数RC构件的爆炸试验数据,建立数值模型,并重点讨论混凝土材料应变率的缩尺效应,论证采用缩尺有限元模型进行原型结构动力响应预测的可行性。计算结果表明,如果不考虑应变率的缩尺效应,缩尺系数越小,缩尺数值模型的损伤情况和动态响应就越不符合相似率;当缩尺系数为0.1时,比例爆距0.50、0.44 m·kg^(-1/3)下的RC梁跨中位移误差分别为32.5%、75.1%,比例爆距0.591、0.518 m·kg^(-1/3)下的RC板跨中位移误差分别为45.08%、46.93%。在对动态增长系数(DIF)曲线进行缩尺后,所得数值模型计算结果更符合相似率,误差在10%之内。最后,提出了采用缩尺试验结果预测原型结构动力响应的流程。 展开更多

The formulations of dis- persion relation are explicitly derived for both strain gradi- ent beam models, and presented for different material length scale parameters (MLSPs). For both phenomenological size- dependent beam models, the angular frequency, phase veloc- ity and group velocity increase with increasing wave num- ber. However, the velocity ratios approach different values for different beam models, indicating an interesting behavior of the asymptotic velocity ratio. 为研究碳纤维(CFRP)加固对锈蚀钢筋混凝土梁弯曲损伤行为的影响规律,通过室内试验,研究了不同腐蚀条件下,弯曲加载过程对CFRP加固钢筋混凝土梁表面裂缝扩展的影响,分析了CFRP加固钢筋混凝土梁弯曲破坏的荷载位移变化,揭示了CFRP加固混... 为研究碳纤维(CFRP)加固对锈蚀钢筋混凝土梁弯曲损伤行为的影响规律,通过室内试验,研究了不同腐蚀条件下,弯曲加载过程对CFRP加固钢筋混凝土梁表面裂缝扩展的影响,分析了CFRP加固钢筋混凝土梁弯曲破坏的荷载位移变化,揭示了CFRP加固混凝土梁表面应变分布规律。研究结果表明:加载过程中,随着荷载的增加,混凝土梁表面裂缝宽度逐渐增大,C0-2混凝土梁在荷载175 kN时的平均裂缝宽度较荷载为105 kN时增加78.28%。随着弯曲位移的增加,CFRP加固梁锈蚀钢筋混凝土梁的荷载增大趋势变缓。C60-2混凝土的荷载在位移为7.5 mm时较位移5.0 mm增加了33.32%。距中性轴相同位置处,随着荷载等级的增加,混凝土梁侧表面应变随之增加。 展开更多

The growth temperature and group-V soaking times were optimized with respect to interface and transport quality. Novel strain compensation schemes with insertion of InSb layers were proposed and tested to be efficient to tune the overall strain between tensile and compressive without degradation of interface and optical quality. The effect of the proposed methods is modeled by analytic functions.? Band structure calculations were also carried out for the proposed T2SL structures to assist optimizing sample designs. In this study, the residual strain of a thin conductive metal wire on a polymer substrate after electrical failure is measured with SEM moir′e. Focused ion beam(FIB) milling is applied to fabricate micron moir′e gratings on the surfaces of constantan wires and the random phase shifting technique is used to process moir′e fringes. The virtual strain method is briefly introduced and used to calculate the real strain of specimens. In order to study the influence of a defect on the electrical failure of the constantan wire, experiments were conducted on two specimens, one with a crack, while the other one without any crack. By comparing the results, we found that the defect makes the critical beam current of electrical failure decrease. In addition, the specimens were subjected to compression after electrical failure, in agreement with the observed crack closure of the specimen. The successful results demonstrate that the moir′e method is effective to characterize the full-field deformation of constantan wires on the polymer membrane, and has a good potential for further application to the deformation measurement of thin films. 展开更多

Strained and strain-relaxed epitaxial Ge_(1-x)Sn_x alloys on Si(100) substrates

Epitaxial Ge1-xSnx alloys are grown separately on a Ge-buffer/Si(100) substrate and directly on a Si(100) substrate by molecular beam epitaxy (MBE) at low temperature. In the case of the Ge buffer/Si(100) substrate, a high crystalline quality strained Ge0.97Sn0.03 alloy is grown, with a Xmin value of 6.7% measured by channeling and random Rutherford baekscattering spectrometry (RBS), and a surface root-mean-square (RMS) roughness of 1.568 nm obtained by atomic force microscopy (AFM). In the case of the Si(100) substrate, strain-relaxed Ge0.97Sn0.03 alloys are epitaxially grown at 150℃-300℃, with the degree of strain relaxation being more than 96%. The X-ray diffraction (XRD) and AFM measurements demonstrate that the alloys each have a good crystalline quality and a relatively flat surface. The predominant defects accommodating the large misfit are Lomer edge dislocations at the interface, which are parallel to the interface plane and should not degrade electrical properties and device performance. 展开更多
