Based on the Taylor series expansion, the boundary integration equations concerning the mean and deviation of the generalized displacements are derived, respectively. It is found that the randomness of material parameters is equivalent to a random load, so the mean and covariance matrices of unknown generalized boundary displacements and tractions can be obtained. Furthermore, the mean and covariance of generalized displacements and forces at internal points can also be obtained. A numerical example has been worked out with the method proposed and necessary analysis is made for the results.展开更多

In order to observe geomagnetic fluctuations, geomagnetic measurements were carded out i...Some geophysical parameters, such as those related to gravitation and the geomagnetic field, could change during solar eclipses. In order to observe geomagnetic fluctuations, geomagnetic measurements were carded out in a limited time frame during the partial solar eclipse that occurred on 2011 January 4 and was observed in Canakkale and Ankara, Turkey. Additionally, records of the geomagnetic field spanning 24 hours, obtained from another observatory (in Iznik, Turkey), were also analyzed to check for any peculiar variations. In the data processing stage, a polynomial fit, following the application of a running average routine, was applied to the geomagnetic field data sets. Geomagnetic field data sets indicated there was a characteristic decrease at the beginning of the solar eclipse and this decrease can be well-correlated with previous geomagnetic field measurements that were taken during the total solar eclipse that was observed in Turkey on 2006 March 29. The behavior of the geomagnetic field is also consistent with previous observations in the literature. As a result of these analyses, it can be suggested that eclipses can cause a shielding effect on the geomagnetic field of the Earth.展开更多

The monitoring of the water resources and evaluation of these monitoring results have given direction to the studies’ outcome in order to control factors that pollute water resources and reduce water quality. Nilüfer Creek is very important for both being a source of drinking and potable water and a discharge area for wastewaters for the city of Bursa. In this study, the results of the analysis belonging to the period between 2002-2010 which are taken from 15 points by General Directorate of Bursa Water and Sewerage Administration (BUWSA) were evaluated in relation to water quality of the Nilüfer Creek. Non-parametric methods were used in the evaluation of the water quality data due to the lack of normally distributed data. The identification of the best represented parameters of the water quality was provided by applying Principal Component Analysis. According to results of the analysis, the best representative 9 parameters from the 19 water quality parameters were defined as parameters of BOD5, COD, TSS, T.Fe, Zn, conductivity, NO2-N, Ni and NO3-N that taking part of the first two components.展开更多

Based on interval mathematics and Taylor series expansion, the interval analysis method is used to deal with uncertainties. Not necessarily knowing the probabilistic statistics characteristics of the uncertain variables, only little information on physical properties of material is needed in the interval analysis method, that is, the upper bound and lower bound of the uncertain variable. So the interval of response of the structure can be gotten through less computational efforts. The interval analysis method is efficient under the condition that probability approach cannot work well because of small samples and deficient statistics characteristics. For buckling load of a special cross-ply laminates and antisymmetric angle-ply laminates with all edges simply supported, calculations and comparisons between interval analysis method and probability method are performed.展开更多

However, for predicting structure-borne noise, there are no definitive simulation methods that can address the soundproof specifications in an actual vehicle. Thus, in this paper, a FEM (finite element method)'SEA hybrid method is used. The FEM'SEA hybrid method predicts structure-borne noise in the middle to high frequency range. The formulation of the problem by a statistical second-order two-scale (SSOTS) analysis method and the algorithm procedure based on the finite-element difference method are presented. Numerical results of coupled cases are compared with those of uncoupled cases. It shows that the coupling effects on temperature, thermal flux, displacement, and stresses are very distinct, and the micro- characteristics of particles affect the coupling effect of the random composites. Furthermore, the coupling effect causes a lag in the variations of temperature, thermal flux, displacement, and stresses.展开更多
To take into account the influence of uncetainties on the dynamic response of the vibro-acousitc structure, a hybrid modeling technique combining the finite element method(FE)and the statistic energy analysis(SEA)...To take into account the influence of uncetainties on the dynamic response of the vibro-acousitc structure, a hybrid modeling technique combining the finite element method(FE)and the statistic energy analysis(SEA) is proposed to analyze vibro-acoustics responses with uncertainties at middle frequencies. The mid-frequency dynamic response of the framework-plate structure with uncertainties is studied based on the hybrid FE-SEA method and the Monte Carlo(MC)simulation is performed so as to provide a benchmark comparison with the hybrid method. The energy response of the framework-plate structure matches well with the MC simulation results, which validates the effectiveness of the hybrid FE-SEA method considering both the complexity of the vibro-acoustic structure and the uncertainties in mid-frequency vibro-acousitc analysis. Based on the hybrid method, a vibroacoustic model of a construction machinery cab with random properties is established, and the excitations of the model are measured by experiments. The responses of the sound pressure level of the cab and the vibration power spectrum density of the front windscreen are calculated and compared with those of the experiment. At middle frequencies, the results have a good consistency with the tests and the prediction error is less than 3. 5dB.展开更多
Understanding the abnormal electricity usage behavior of buildings is essential to enhance the resilience,efficiency,and security of urban/building energy systems while safeguarding occupant comfort.However,data refle...Understanding the abnormal electricity usage behavior of buildings is essential to enhance the resilience,efficiency,and security of urban/building energy systems while safeguarding occupant comfort.However,data reflecting such behavior are often considered as outliers,and removed or smoothed during preprocessing,limiting insights into their potential impacts.This paper proposes an abnormal behavior analysis method that identifies outliers(considering data distribution)and anomalies(considering the physical context)based on the statistical principle and domain knowledge,assessing their effects on energy supply security.A 4-quadrant graph is proposed to quantify and categorize the impacts of buildings on urban energy systems.The method is illustrated by data from 1,451 buildings in a city.Results show that the proposed method can identify abnormal data effectively.Buildings in the primary industry have more outliers,while those in the tertiary industry have more anomalies.Seven buildings affecting both the security and economy of urban energy systems are identified.The outliers rise more frequently from 8:00 to 18:00,on weekdays and in the summer and winter months.However,the anomaly distribution has a weak connection with time.Moreover,the abnormal electricity usage behavior positively correlates with outdoor air temperatures.This method provides a new perspective for identifying potential risks,managing energy usage behavior,and enhancing flexibility of the urban energy systems.展开更多

Predicting seeing of astronomical observations can provide hints of the quality of optical imaging in the near future,and facilitate flexible scheduling of observation tasks to maximize the use of astronomical observa...Predicting seeing of astronomical observations can provide hints of the quality of optical imaging in the near future,and facilitate flexible scheduling of observation tasks to maximize the use of astronomical observatories.Traditional approaches to seeing prediction mostly rely on regional weather models to capture the in-dome optical turbulence patterns.Thanks to the developing of data gathering and aggregation facilities of astronomical observatories in recent years,data-driven approaches are becoming increasingly feasible and attractive to predict astronomical seeing.This paper systematically investigates data-driven approaches to seeing prediction by leveraging various big data techniques,from traditional statistical modeling,machine learning to new emerging deep learning methods,on the monitoring data of the Large sky Area Multi-Object fiber Spectroscopic Telescope(LAMOST).The raw monitoring data are preprocessed to allow for big data modeling.Then we formulate the seeing prediction task under each type of modeling framework and develop seeing prediction models through using representative big data techniques,including ARIMA and Prophet for statistical modeling,MLP and XGBoost for machine learning,and LSTM,GRU and Transformer for deep learning.We perform empirical studies on the developed models with a variety of feature configurations,yielding notable insights into the applicability of big data techniques to the seeing prediction task.展开更多

However, this fact never means that statistics is based on Kolmogorov’s probability theory, since it is not guaranteed that mathematics and our world are connected. In order that mathematics asserts some statements concerning our world, a certain theory (so called “world view”) mediates between mathematics and our world. Recently we propose measurement theory (i.e., the theory of the quantum mechanical world view), which is characterized as the linguistic turn of quantum mechanics. In this paper, we assert that statistics is based on measurement theory. And, for example, we show, from the pure theoretical point of view (i.e., from the measurement theoretical point of view), that regression analysis can not be justified without Bayes’ theorem. This may imply that even the conventional classification of (Fisher’s) statistics and Bayesian statistics should be reconsidered.展开更多
The flow of novel coronavirus(COVID-19)has affected almost every aspect of human life around the globe.Being the emerging ground and early sufferer of the virus,Wuhan city-data remains a case of multifold significance...The flow of novel coronavirus(COVID-19)has affected almost every aspect of human life around the globe.Being the emerging ground and early sufferer of the virus,Wuhan city-data remains a case of multifold significance.Further,it is of notable importance to explore the impact of unique and unprecedented public health response of Chinese authorities—the extreme lockdown of the city.In this research,we investigate the statistical nature of the viral transmission concerning social distancing,extreme quarantine,and robust lockdown interventions.We observed highly convincing and statistically significant evidences in favor of quarantine and social distancing approaches.These findings might help countries,now facing,or likely to face the wave of the virus.We analyzed Wuhan-based data of“number of deaths”and“confirmed cases,”extracted from China CDC weekly database,dated from February 13,2020,to March 24,2020.To estimate the underlying group structure,the assembled data is further subdivided into three blocks,each consists of two weeks.Thus,the complete data set is studied in three phases,such as,phase 1(Ph 1)=February 13,2020,to February 26,2020;phase 2(Ph 2)=February 27,2020 to March 11,2020;and phase 3(Ph 3)=March 12,2020 to March 24,2020.We observed the overall median proportion of deaths in those six weeks remained 0.0127.This estimate is highly influenced by Ph1,when the early flaws of weak health response were still prevalent.Over the time,we witnessed a median decline of 92.12%in the death proportions.Moreover,a non-parametric version of the variability analysis of death data,estimated that the average rank of reported proportions in Ph 3 remained 7,which was 20.5 in Ph 2,and stayed 34.5 in the first phase.Similar patterns were observed,when studying the confirmed cases data.We estimated the overall median of the proportion of confirmed cases in Wuhan as 0.0041,which again,is highly inclined towards Ph 1 and Ph 2.We also witnessed minimum average rank proportions for Ph 3,such as 7,which was noticeably lower than Ph 2,21.71,and Ph 1, 32.29. Moreover, the varying degree of clustering indicates that the effectivenessof quarantine based policies is time-dependent. In general, the declinein coronavirus transmission in Wuhan significantly coincides with the lockdown.展开更多

The main goal of this study is conducting sentiment analysis to facilitate users comprehendin...Purpose: Online reviews on tourism attractions provide important references for potential tourists to choose tourism spots. The main goal of this study is conducting sentiment analysis to facilitate users comprehending the large scale of the reviews, based on the comments about Chinese attractions from Japanese tourism website 4 Travel.Design/methodology/approach: Different statistics-and rule-based methods are used to analyze the sentiment of the reviews. Three groups of novel statistics-based methods combining feature selection functions and the traditional term frequency-inverse document frequency(TF-IDF) method are proposed. We also make seven groups of different rulesbased methods. The macro-average and micro-average values for the best classification results of the methods are calculated respectively and the performance of the methods are shown.Findings: We compare the statistics-based and rule-based methods separately and compare the overall performance of the two method. According to the results, it is concluded that the combination of feature selection functions and weightings can strongly improve the overall performance. The emotional vocabulary in the field of tourism(EVT), kaomojis, negative and transitional words can notably improve the performance in all of three categories. The rule-based methods outperform the statistics-based ones with a narrow advantage.Research limitation: Two limitations can be addressed: 1) the empirical studies to verify the validity of the proposed methods are only conducted on Japanese languages; and 2) the deep learning technology is not been incorporated in the methods.Practical implications: The results help to elucidate the intrinsic characteristics of the Japanese language and the influence on sentiment analysis. These findings also provide practical usage guidelines within the field of sentiment analysis of Japanese online tourism reviews.Originality/value: Our research is of practicability. Currently, there are no studies that focus on the sentiment analysis of Japanese reviews about Chinese attractions.展开更多

Th...This paper makes a summary of status of delimitation of seismic zones and belts of China firstly in aspects of studying history, purpose, usage, delimiting principles, various presenting forms and main specialties. Then the viewpoints are emphasized, making geographical divisions by seismicity is just the most important purpose of delimiting seismic belts and the concept of seismic belt is also quite different from that of seismic statistical zone used in CPSHA method. The concept of seismic statistical zone and its history of evolvement are introduced too. Large differences between these rwo concepts exist separately in their statistical property, actual meaning, gradation, required scale, and property of refusing to overlap each other, aim and usage of delimitation. But in current engineering practice, these two concepts are confused. On the one hand, it causes no fit theory for delimiting seismic statistical zone in PSHA to be set up; on the other hand, researches about delimitation of seismic belts with purposes of seismicity zoning and studying on structural environment, mechanism of earthquake generating also pause to go ahead. Major conclusions are given in the end of this paper, that seismic statistical zone bases on the result of seismic belt delimiting, it only arises in and can be used in the especial PSHA method of China with considering spatially and temporally inhomogeneous seismic activities, and its concept should be clearly differentiated from the concept of seismic belt.展开更多
Noise is a significant part within a millimeter-wave molecular line datacube.Analyzing the noise improves our understanding of noise characteristics,and further contributes to scientific discoveries.We measure the noi...Noise is a significant part within a millimeter-wave molecular line datacube.Analyzing the noise improves our understanding of noise characteristics,and further contributes to scientific discoveries.We measure the noise level of a single datacube from MWISP and perform statistical analyses.We identified major factors which increase the noise level of a single datacube,including bad channels,edge effects,baseline distortion and line contamination.Cleaning algorithms are applied to remove or reduce these noise components.As a result,we obtained the cleaned datacube in which noise follows a positively skewed normal distribution.We further analyzed the noise structure distribution of a 3 D mosaicked datacube in the range l=40°7 to 43°3 and b=-2°3 to 0°3 and found that noise in the final mosaicked datacube is mainly characterized by noise fluctuation among the cells.展开更多

According to results of the analysis, the best representative 9 parameters from the 19 water quality parameters were defined as parameters of BOD5, COD, TSS, T.Fe, Zn, conductivity, NO2-N, Ni and NO3-N that taking part of the first two components.
文摘A method named interval analysis method, which solves the buckling load of composite laminate with uncertainties, is presented. Based on interval mathematics and Taylor series expansion, the interval analysis method is used to deal with uncertainties. Not necessarily knowing the probabilistic statistics characteristics of the uncertain variables, only little information on physical properties of material is needed in the interval analysis method, that is, the upper bound and lower bound of the uncertain variable. So the interval of response of the structure can be gotten through less computational efforts. The interval analysis method is efficient under the condition that probability approach cannot work well because of small samples and deficient statistics characteristics. For buckling load of a special cross-ply laminates and antisymmetric angle-ply laminates with all edges simply supported, calculations and comparisons between interval analysis method and probability method are performed.
文摘In order to improve the mass efficiency of an automotive soundproof package, it is important to predict the middle to high frequency range of noise and vibration during vehicle operation. A hybrid method of experimental and analytical SEA (statistical energy analysis) has been applied for the prediction of air-borne noise. However, for predicting structure-borne noise, there are no definitive simulation methods that can address the soundproof specifications in an actual vehicle. Thus, in this paper, a FEM (finite element method)'SEA hybrid method is used. The FEM'SEA hybrid method predicts structure-borne noise in the middle to high frequency range. First, we explain the basic concept of the FEM'SEA hybrid method; Second, we describe our experiment to verify the analytical results of the FEM'SEA hybrid method; Third, we provide the details of the FEM model versus the FEM'SEA hybrid model; Finally, we verify the validity and availability of the FEM'SEA hybrid method through comparisons of the FEM analysis results, FEM-SEA analysis results and measured results.
文摘This paper applies the stochastic finite element method to analyse the statistics of stresses in earth dams and assess the safety and reliability of the dams. Formulations of the stochastic finite element method are briefly reviewed and the procedure for assessing dam's strength and stability is described. As an example, a detailed analysis for an actual dam Nululin dam is performed. A practical method for studying built-dams based on the prototype observation data is described.

文摘This paper focuses on the dynamic thermo-mechanical coupled response of random particulate composite materials. Both the inertia term and coupling term are considered in the dynamic coupled problem. The formulation of the problem by a statistical second-order two-scale (SSOTS) analysis method and the algorithm procedure based on the finite-element difference method are presented. Numerical results of coupled cases are compared with those of uncoupled cases. It shows that the coupling effects on temperature, thermal flux, displacement, and stresses are very distinct, and the micro- characteristics of particles affect the coupling effect of the random composites. Furthermore, the coupling effect causes a lag in the variations of temperature, thermal flux, displacement, and stresses.

文摘To take into account the influence of uncetainties on the dynamic response of the vibro-acousitc structure, a hybrid modeling technique combining the finite element method(FE)and the statistic energy analysis(SEA) is proposed to analyze vibro-acoustics responses with uncertainties at middle frequencies. The mid-frequency dynamic response of the framework-plate structure with uncertainties is studied based on the hybrid FE-SEA method and the Monte Carlo(MC)simulation is performed so as to provide a benchmark comparison with the hybrid method. The energy response of the framework-plate structure matches well with the MC simulation results, which validates the effectiveness of the hybrid FE-SEA method considering both the complexity of the vibro-acoustic structure and the uncertainties in mid-frequency vibro-acousitc analysis. Based on the hybrid method, a vibroacoustic model of a construction machinery cab with random properties is established, and the excitations of the model are measured by experiments. The responses of the sound pressure level of the cab and the vibration power spectrum density of the front windscreen are calculated and compared with those of the experiment. At middle frequencies, the results have a good consistency with the tests and the prediction error is less than 3. 5dB.

文摘Understanding the abnormal electricity usage behavior of buildings is essential to enhance the resilience,efficiency,and security of urban/building energy systems while safeguarding occupant comfort.However,data reflecting such behavior are often considered as outliers,and removed or smoothed during preprocessing,limiting insights into their potential impacts.This paper proposes an abnormal behavior analysis method that identifies outliers(considering data distribution)and anomalies(considering the physical context)based on the statistical principle and domain knowledge,assessing their effects on energy supply security.A 4-quadrant graph is proposed to quantify and categorize the impacts of buildings on urban energy systems.The method is illustrated by data from 1,451 buildings in a city.Results show that the proposed method can identify abnormal data effectively.Buildings in the primary industry have more outliers,while those in the tertiary industry have more anomalies.Seven buildings affecting both the security and economy of urban energy systems are identified.The outliers rise more frequently from 8:00 to 18:00,on weekdays and in the summer and winter months.However,the anomaly distribution has a weak connection with time.Moreover,the abnormal electricity usage behavior positively correlates with outdoor air temperatures.This method provides a new perspective for identifying potential risks,managing energy usage behavior,and enhancing flexibility of the urban energy systems.
文摘Using GIS spatial statistical analysis method, with ArcGIS software as an analysis tool, taking the diseased maize in Hedong District of Linyi City as the study object, the distribution characteristic of the diseased crops this time in spatial location was analyzed. The results showed that the diseased crops mainly dis- tributed along with river tributaries and downstream of main rivers. The correlation between adjacent diseased plots was little, so the infection of pests and diseases were excluded, and the major reason of incidence might be river pollution.
文摘It is well known that the nonparametric estimation of the regression function is highly sensitive to the presence of even a small proportion of outliers in the data.To solve the problem of typical observations when the covariates of the nonparametric component are functional,the robust estimates for the regression parameter and regression operator are introduced.The main propose of the paper is to consider data-driven methods of selecting the number of neighbors in order to make the proposed processes fully automatic.We use thek Nearest Neighbors procedure(kNN)to construct the kernel estimator of the proposed robust model.Under some regularity conditions,we state consistency results for kNN functional estimators,which are uniform in the number of neighbors(UINN).Furthermore,a simulation study and an empirical application to a real data analysis of octane gasoline predictions are carried out to illustrate the higher predictive performances and the usefulness of the kNN approach.

文摘Predicting seeing of astronomical observations can provide hints of the quality of optical imaging in the near future,and facilitate flexible scheduling of observation tasks to maximize the use of astronomical observatories.Traditional approaches to seeing prediction mostly rely on regional weather models to capture the in-dome optical turbulence patterns.Thanks to the developing of data gathering and aggregation facilities of astronomical observatories in recent years,data-driven approaches are becoming increasingly feasible and attractive to predict astronomical seeing.This paper systematically investigates data-driven approaches to seeing prediction by leveraging various big data techniques,from traditional statistical modeling,machine learning to new emerging deep learning methods,on the monitoring data of the Large sky Area Multi-Object fiber Spectroscopic Telescope(LAMOST).The raw monitoring data are preprocessed to allow for big data modeling.Then we formulate the seeing prediction task under each type of modeling framework and develop seeing prediction models through using representative big data techniques,including ARIMA and Prophet for statistical modeling,MLP and XGBoost for machine learning,and LSTM,GRU and Transformer for deep learning.We perform empirical studies on the developed models with a variety of feature configurations,yielding notable insights into the applicability of big data techniques to the seeing prediction task.
文摘It is a matter of course that Kolmogorov’s probability theory is a very useful mathematical tool for the analysis of statistics. However, this fact never means that statistics is based on Kolmogorov’s probability theory, since it is not guaranteed that mathematics and our world are connected. In order that mathematics asserts some statements concerning our world, a certain theory (so called “world view”) mediates between mathematics and our world. Recently we propose measurement theory (i.e., the theory of the quantum mechanical world view), which is characterized as the linguistic turn of quantum mechanics. In this paper, we assert that statistics is based on measurement theory. And, for example, we show, from the pure theoretical point of view (i.e., from the measurement theoretical point of view), that regression analysis can not be justified without Bayes’ theorem. This may imply that even the conventional classification of (Fisher’s) statistics and Bayesian statistics should be reconsidered.
文摘The flow of novel coronavirus(COVID-19)has affected almost every aspect of human life around the globe.Being the emerging ground and early sufferer of the virus,Wuhan city-data remains a case of multifold significance.Further,it is of notable importance to explore the impact of unique and unprecedented public health response of Chinese authorities—the extreme lockdown of the city.In this research,we investigate the statistical nature of the viral transmission concerning social distancing,extreme quarantine,and robust lockdown interventions.We observed highly convincing and statistically significant evidences in favor of quarantine and social distancing approaches.These findings might help countries,now facing,or likely to face the wave of the virus.We analyzed Wuhan-based data of“number of deaths”and“confirmed cases,”extracted from China CDC weekly database,dated from February 13,2020,to March 24,2020.To estimate the underlying group structure,the assembled data is further subdivided into three blocks,each consists of two weeks.Thus,the complete data set is studied in three phases,such as,phase 1(Ph 1)=February 13,2020,to February 26,2020;phase 2(Ph 2)=February 27,2020 to March 11,2020;and phase 3(Ph 3)=March 12,2020 to March 24,2020.We observed the overall median proportion of deaths in those six weeks remained 0.0127.This estimate is highly influenced by Ph1,when the early flaws of weak health response were still prevalent.Over the time,we witnessed a median decline of 92.12%in the death proportions.Moreover,a non-parametric version of the variability analysis of death data,estimated that the average rank of reported proportions in Ph 3 remained 7,which was 20.5 in Ph 2,and stayed 34.5 in the first phase.Similar patterns were observed,when studying the confirmed cases data.We estimated the overall median of the proportion of confirmed cases in Wuhan as 0.0041,which again,is highly inclined towards Ph 1 and Ph 2.We also witnessed minimum average rank proportions for Ph 3,such as 7,which was noticeably lower than Ph 2,21.71,and Ph 1, 32.29. Moreover, the varying degree of clustering indicates that the effectivenessof quarantine based policies is time-dependent. In general, the declinein coronavirus transmission in Wuhan significantly coincides with the lockdown.

文摘Purpose: Online reviews on tourism attractions provide important references for potential tourists to choose tourism spots. The main goal of this study is conducting sentiment analysis to facilitate users comprehending the large scale of the reviews, based on the comments about Chinese attractions from Japanese tourism website 4 Travel.Design/methodology/approach: Different statistics-and rule-based methods are used to analyze the sentiment of the reviews. Three groups of novel statistics-based methods combining feature selection functions and the traditional term frequency-inverse document frequency(TF-IDF) method are proposed. We also make seven groups of different rulesbased methods. The macro-average and micro-average values for the best classification results of the methods are calculated respectively and the performance of the methods are shown.Findings: We compare the statistics-based and rule-based methods separately and compare the overall performance of the two method. According to the results, it is concluded that the combination of feature selection functions and weightings can strongly improve the overall performance. The emotional vocabulary in the field of tourism(EVT), kaomojis, negative and transitional words can notably improve the performance in all of three categories. The rule-based methods outperform the statistics-based ones with a narrow advantage.Research limitation: Two limitations can be addressed: 1) the empirical studies to verify the validity of the proposed methods are only conducted on Japanese languages; and 2) the deep learning technology is not been incorporated in the methods.Practical implications: The results help to elucidate the intrinsic characteristics of the Japanese language and the influence on sentiment analysis. These findings also provide practical usage guidelines within the field of sentiment analysis of Japanese online tourism reviews.Originality/value: Our research is of practicability. Currently, there are no studies that focus on the sentiment analysis of Japanese reviews about Chinese attractions.
文摘This paper makes a summary of status of delimitation of seismic zones and belts of China firstly in aspects of studying history, purpose, usage, delimiting principles, various presenting forms and main specialties. Then the viewpoints are emphasized, making geographical divisions by seismicity is just the most important purpose of delimiting seismic belts and the concept of seismic belt is also quite different from that of seismic statistical zone used in CPSHA method. The concept of seismic statistical zone and its history of evolvement are introduced too. Large differences between these rwo concepts exist separately in their statistical property, actual meaning, gradation, required scale, and property of refusing to overlap each other, aim and usage of delimitation. But in current engineering practice, these two concepts are confused. On the one hand, it causes no fit theory for delimiting seismic statistical zone in PSHA to be set up; on the other hand, researches about delimitation of seismic belts with purposes of seismicity zoning and studying on structural environment, mechanism of earthquake generating also pause to go ahead. Major conclusions are given in the end of this paper, that seismic statistical zone bases on the result of seismic belt delimiting, it only arises in and can be used in the especial PSHA method of China with considering spatially and temporally inhomogeneous seismic activities, and its concept should be clearly differentiated from the concept of seismic belt.

文摘Noise is a significant part within a millimeter-wave molecular line datacube.Analyzing the noise improves our understanding of noise characteristics,and further contributes to scientific discoveries.We measure the noise level of a single datacube from MWISP and perform statistical analyses.We identified major factors which increase the noise level of a single datacube,including bad channels,edge effects,baseline distortion and line contamination.Cleaning algorithms are applied to remove or reduce these noise components.As a result,we obtained the cleaned datacube in which noise follows a positively skewed normal distribution.We further analyzed the noise structure distribution of a 3 D mosaicked datacube in the range l=40°7 to 43°3 and b=-2°3 to 0°3 and found that noise in the final mosaicked datacube is mainly characterized by noise fluctuation among the cells.
