The numerical test results show that the plastic strain value is 12 times the magnitude of the elastic strain. During plastic deformation, the fluctuation in the stress magnitude is relatively stable, indicating that the bolt has good constant resistance characteristics. The numerical test results are in good agreement with the laboratory test results of M.C. He, and the accuracy and reliability of the numerical test method are verified. Therefore, the RFPA software with coupled static-dynamic loading is further adopted to study the supporting effects of traditional bolts and constant resistance bolts under coupled staticdynamic loading. The numerical comparison of the test results show that the constant resistance bolts can effectively control the deformation amount and rate of the laneway surrounding rock, reduce the total and rate of increase in the accumulated acoustic emissions, decrease the stress on the units in the model and protect the stability of the laneway. This paper verifies that a constant resistance bolt has better impact resistance mechanical properties than those of a traditional bolt and provides an effective way to control rock burst and soft rock that is prone to large deformation damage.展开更多

文摘The stability of plunge pool slab of drainage structure is crucial to energy dissipation, but the working conditions of counter-arched slab are very complex and its stress procedure is considerably nonlinear and coupling. Therefore,a nonlinear static and dynamic coupling method to analyze the counter-arched slab configuration is put forward, which can reflect the coupling of dynamic loads, slab, anchor bars, groundwork and abutment as well as the dynamic procedure of instability.Various nonlinear factors and static-dynamic coupling are taken into consideration, and the working conditions, stress mechanism, dynamic instability procedure and influential instability factors are revealed. The proposed method thus provides a comprehensive safety evaluation method of plunge pool, which further pro-vides an important theoretical basis for engineering design of counter-arched slab in plunge pool.

文摘In this study, three specific scenarios of a novel accelerator light source mechanism called steady-state microbunching(SSMB)were studied:longitudinal weak focusing, longitudinal strong focusing, and generalized longitudinal strong focusing(GLSF).At present,GLSF is the most promising method for realizing high-power short-wavelength coherent radiation with mild requirements on modulation laser power. Its essence is to exploit the ultrasmall natural vertical emittance of an electron beam in a planar storage ring for efficient microbunching formation, like a partial transverse-longitudinal emittance exchange in the optical laser wavelength range.Based on an in-depth investigation of related beam physics,a solution for a GLSF SSMB storage ring that can deliver 1 kW average-power EUV light is presented. The work in this paper, such as the generalized Courant–Snyder formalism, analysis of theoretical minimum emittances,transverse-longitudinal coupling dynamics, and derivation of the bunching factor and modulation strengths for laser-induced microbunching schemes,is expected to be useful not only for the development of SSMB but also for future accelerator light sources in general that demand increasingly precise electron beam phase space manipulations.

文摘Rock failure phenomena, such as rockburst, slabbing(or spalling) and zonal disintegration, related to deep underground excavation of hard rocks are frequently reported and pose a great threat to deep mining.Currently, the explanation for these failure phenomena using existing dynamic or static rock mechanics theory is not straightforward. In this study, new theory and testing method for deep underground rock mass under coupled static-dynamic loading are introduced. Two types of coupled loading modes,i.e.'critical static stress + slight disturbance' and 'elastic static stress + impact disturbance',are proposed, and associated test devices are developed.Rockburst phenomena of hard rocks under coupled static-dynamic loading are successfully reproduced in the laboratory, and the rockburst mechanism and related criteria are demonstrated. The results of true triaxial unloading compression tests on granite and red sandstone indicate that the unloading can induce slabbing when the confining pressure exceeds a certain threshold, and the slabbing failure strength is lower than the shear failure strength according to the conventional Mohr-Column criterion.Numerical results indicate that the rock unloading failure response under different in situ stresses and unloading rates can be characterized by an equivalent strain energy density. In addition,we present a new microseismic source location method without premeasuring the sound wave velocity in rock mass, which can efficiently and accurately locate the rock failure in hard rock mines. Also,a new idea for deep hard rock mining using a non-explosive continuous mining method is briefly introduced.

文摘The fracture behaviour and crack propagation features of coal under coupled static-dynamic loading conditions are important when evaluating the dynamic failure of coal.In this study, coupled static-dynamic loading tests are conducted on Brazilian disc(BD)coal specimens using a modified split Hopkinson pressure bar(SHPB).The effects of the static axial pre-stress and loading rate on the dynamic tensile strength and crack propagation characteristics of BD coal specimens are studied. The average dynamic indirect tensile strength of coal specimens increases first and then decreases with the static axial pre-stress increasing. When no static axial pre-stress is applied,or the static axial pre-stress is 30%of the static tensile strength, the dynamic indirect tensile strength of coal specimens shows an increase trend as the loading rate increases. When the static axial pre-stress is 60%of the static tensile strength, the dynamic indirect tensile strength shows a fluctuant trend as the loading rate increases.According to the crack propagation process of coal specimens recorded by high-speed camera, the impact velocity influences the mode of crack propagation, while the static axial pre-stress influences the direction of crack propagation. The failure of coal specimens is a coupled tensile-shear failure under high impact velocity. When there is no static axial pre-stress,tensile cracks occur in the vertical loading direction. When the static axial pre-stress is applied, the number of cracks perpendicular to the loading direction decreases, and more cracks occur in the parallel loading direction.

文摘Rock drilling machine,INSTRON testing system, and SHPB device are updated to investigate the characteristics of rocks at great depth, with high loads from overburden, tectonic stresses and dynamic impacts due to blasting and boring. It is verified that these testing systems can be used to study the mechanical properties of rock material under coupled static and dynamic loading condition and give useful guidance for the deep mining and underground cavern excavation.Various tests to determine the rock strength, fragmentation behavior, and energy absorption were conducted using the updated testing systems. It is shown that under coupled static-dynamic loads,if the axial prestress is lower than its elastic limit, the rock strength is higher than the individual static or dynamic strength. At the same axial prestress, rock strength under coupled loads rises with the increasing strain rates.Under coupled static and dynamic loads, rock is observed to fail with tensile mode. While shear failure may exist if axial prestress is high enough. In addition,it is shown that the percentage of small particles increases with the increasing axial prestress and impact load based on the analysis of the particle-size distribution of fragments. It is also suggested that the energy absorption ratio of a specimen varies with coupled loads, and the maximum energy absorption ratio for a rock can be obtained with an appropriate combination of static and dynamic loads.

文摘Defects-rich heterointerfaces integrated with adjustable crystalline phases and atom vacancies,as well as veiled dielectric-responsive character, are instrumental in electromagnetic dissipation.Conventional methods, however, constrain their delicate constructions.Herein,an innovative alternative is proposed:carrageenan-assistant cations-regulated(CACR)strategy,which induces a series of sulfides nanoparticles rooted in situ on the surface of carbon matrix. This unique configuration originates from strategic vacancy formation energy of sulfides and strong sulfides-carbon support interaction, benefiting the delicate construction of defects-rich heterostructures in M_(x)S_(y)/carbon composites(M-CAs).Impressively,these generated sulfur vacancies are firstly found to strengthen electron accumulation/consumption ability at heterointerfaces and, simultaneously, induct local asymmetry of electronic structure to evoke large dipole moment, ultimately leading to polarization coupling,i.e.,defect-type interfacial polarization.Such“Janus effect”(Janus effect means versatility,as in the Greek two-headed Janus)of interfacial sulfur vacancies is intuitively confirmed by both theoretical and experimental investigations for the first time.Consequently, the sulfur vacancies-rich heterostructured Co/Ni-CAs displays broad absorption bandwidth of 6.76 GHz at only 1.8 mm,compared to sulfur vacancies-free CAs without any dielectric response.Harnessing defects-rich heterostructures, this one-pot CACR strategy may steer the design and development of advanced nanomaterials, boosting functionality across diverse application domains beyond electromagnetic response.

文摘To study the tensile mechanical properties of constant resistance bolts, the RFPA(Rock Failure Process Analysis) statics software is used to perform a uniaxial tensile test on a constant resistance bolt. This paper verifies that a constant resistance bolt has better impact resistance mechanical properties than those of a traditional bolt and provides an effective way to control rock burst and soft rock that is prone to large deformation damage.

文摘Deep tight reservoirs exhibit complex stress and seepage fields due to varying pore structures, thus the seepage characteristics are significant for enhancing oil production. This study conducted triaxial compression and permeability tests to investigate the mechanical and seepage properties of tight sandstone.A digital core of tight sandstone was built using Computed Tomography(CT)scanning, which was divided into matrix and pore phases by a pore equivalent diameter threshold.A fluid-solid coupling model was established to investigate the seepage characteristics at micro-scale.The results showed that increasing the confining pressure decreased porosity, permeability, and flow velocity, with the pore phase becoming the dominant seepage channel.Cracks and large pores closed first under increasing pressure, resulted in a steep drop in permeability. However, permeability slightly decreased under high confining pressure, which followed a first-order exponential function.Flow velocity increased with seepage pressure. And the damage mainly occurred in stress-concentration regions under low seepage pressure.Seepage behavior followed linear Darcy flow, the damage emerged at seepage entrances under high pressure, which decreased rock elastic modulus and significantly increased permeability.

文摘The occurrence of top-down(TD)cracking has gradually become a prevalent issue in semi-rigid base asphalt pavements after prolonged service.A coupled simulation model integrating the finite difference method(FDM)and discrete element method(DEM)was employed to investigate the mechanical behavior of asphalt pavement containing a pre-existing TD crack. The mesoscopic parameters of the model were calibrated based on the mixture modulus and the static mechanical response on the MLS66 test road. Finally,an analysis was performed to assess how variations in TD crack depth and longitudinal length affect the distribution patterns of transverse tensile stress, vertical shear stress, and vertical compressive stress. The results indicate that the vertical propagation of TD crack significantly increases both the tensile stress value and range on the middle surface, while the longitudinal development of TD crack has minimal impact. This phenomenon may result in more severe fatigue failure on the middle surface. With the vertical and longitudinal development of TD crack, the vertical shear stress and compressive stress show obvious"two-stage"characteristics.When the crack's vertical length reaches 40 mm,there is a sharp increase in stress on the upper surface. As the crack continues to propagate vertically, the growth of stress on the upper surface becomes negligible, while the stress in the middle and lower layers increased significantly.Conversely, for longitudinal development of TD crack, any changes in stress are insignificant when their length is less than 180 mm;however,as they continue to develop longitudinally beyond this threshold, there is a sharp increase in stress levels. These findings hold great significance for understanding pavement structure deterioration and maintenance behavior associated with TD crack.

文摘Electrochemical conversion of lignin for the production of high-value heterocyclic aromatic compounds has great potential. We demonstrate the targeted synthesis and cation modulation of NiCo_(2)O_(4)spinel nanoboxes, synthesized via cation exchange and calcination oxidation. These catalysts exhibit excellent efficacy in the electrocatalytic conversion of lignin model compounds, specifically 2-phenoxy-1-phenylethanol,into nitrogen-containing aromatics, achieving high conversion rates and selectivities. These catalysts were synthesized via a cation exchange and calcination oxidation process, using Prussian blue nanocubes as precursors. The porous architecture and polymetallic composition of the NiCo_(2)O_(4)spinel demonstrated superior performance in electrocatalytic oxidative coupling, achieving a 99.2 wt%conversion rate of the 2-phenoxy-1-phenylethanol with selectivities of 37.5 wt%for quinoline derivatives and 31.5 wt%for phenol.Key innovations include the development of a sustainable one-pot synthesis method for quinoline derivatives, the elucidation of a multistage reaction pathway involving CAO bond cleavage, hydroxyaldol condensation, and CAN bond formation, and a deeper mechanistic understanding derived from DFT simulations. This work establishes a new strategy for lignin valorization, offering a sustainable route to produce high-value nitrogen-containing aromatics from renewable biomass under mild conditions, without the need for additional reagents.

文摘Unlike conventional spherical charges,a shaped charge generates not only a strong shock wave and a pulsating bubble, but also a high strain rate metal jet and a ballistic wave during the underwater explosion. They show significant characteristic differences and couple each other. This paper designs and conducts experiments with shaped charges to analyze the complicated process. The effects of liner angle and weight of shaped charge on the characteristics of metal jets, waves, and bubbles are discussed. It is found that in underwater explosions, the shaped charge generates the metal jet accompanied by the ballistic wave. Then, the shock wave propagates and superimposes with the ballistic wave, and the generated bubble pulsates periodically. It is revealed that the maximum head velocity of the metal jet versus the liner angle a and length-to-diameter ratio k of the shaped charge follows the laws of 1/(α/180°)^(0.55)andλ^(0.16),respectively.The head shape and velocity of the metal jet determine the curvature and propagation speed of the initial ballistic wave, thus impacting the superposition time and region with the shock wave. Our findings also reveal that the metal jet carries away some explosion products, which hinders the bubble development, causing an inward depression of the bubble wall near the metal jet. Therefore, the maximum bubble radius and pulsation period are 5.2%and 3.9%smaller than the spherical charge with the same weight. In addition, the uneven axial energy distribution of the shaped charge leads to an oblique bubble jet formation.

文摘This study investigates the coordination between regional economic growth and ecological sustainability within the context of high-quality town economy development. To address the challenges of balancing economic expansion with environmental protection,a comprehensive evaluation index system is constructed, encompassing two key dimensions:regional economy and ecological environment.Using panel data from 2013 to 2022,the coupling coordination degree model is employed to quantify the interactions and synergy between these dimensions.Additionally, spatial econometric methods are applied to calculate both global and local Moran’s Index, revealing spatial clustering patterns, regional disparities, and heterogeneity. The relative development model further identifies critical factors influencing regional coordination, with a focus on the lagging development of basic infrastructure and public services. The findings demonstrate a positive temporal trend toward improved regional coordination and reduced development gaps, with a spatial pattern characterized by higher coupling degrees in eastern and central regions compared to western areas.Based on these results, this study proposes actionable strategies to enhance coordinated development, emphasizing ecological conservation, the establishment of green production and consumption systems, ecological restoration, and strengthened municipal collaboration. This revised abstract emphasizes the study’s purpose, methods, and key findings more clearly while maintaining a professional and concise tone. Finally, based on the above analysis results, the corresponding coordinated development suggestions of regional economy and ecological environment are given from the aspects of ecological environment protection measures, green production and consumption system construction, ecological environment restoration and municipal coordination.

文摘As the main geomaterials for coral reefs oil or gas extraction and underground infrastructure construction, coral reef limestone demonstrates significantly distinct mechanical responses compared to terrigenous rocks. To investigate the mechanical behaviour of coral reef limestone under the coupling impact of size and strain rate, the uniaxial compression tests were conducted on reef limestone samples with length-to-diameter(L/D)ratio ranging from 0.5 to 2.0 at strain rate ranging from 10^(−5)·s^(−1)to 10^(−2)·s^(−1).It is revealed that the uniaxial compressive strength(UCS)and residual compressive strength(RCS)of coral reef limestone exhibits a decreasing trend with L/D ratio increasing. The dynamic increase factor(DIF)of UCS is linearly correlated with the logarithm of strain rate, while increasing the L/D ratio further enhances the DIF.The elastic modulus increases with strain rate or L/D ratio increasing, whereas the Poisson’s ratio approximates to a constant value of 0.24.The failure strain increases with strain rate increasing or L/D ratio decreasing, while the increase in L/D ratio will inhibit the enhancing effect of the strain rate. The high porosity and low mineral strength are the primary factors contributing to a high RCS of 16.7%–64.9%of UCS,a lower brittleness index and multiple irregular fracture planes. The failure pattern of coral reef limestone transits from the shear-dominated to the splitting-dominated failure with strain rate increasing or L/D ratio decreasing, which is mainly governed by the constrained zones induced by end friction and the strain rate-dependent crack propagation. Moreover,a predictive formula incorporating coupling effect of size and strain rate for the UCS of reef limestone was established and verified to effectively capture the trend of UCS.

文摘The gear transmission system directly affects the operational performance of high-speed trains(HST).However, current research on gear transmission systems of HST often overlooks the effects of gear eccentricity and running resistance, and the dynamic models of gear transmission system are not sufficiently comprehensive. This paper aims to establish an electromechanical coupling dynamic model of HST traction transmission system and study its electromechanical coupling vibration characteristics,in which the internal excitation factors such as gear eccentricity,time-varying meshing stiffness, backlash, meshing error, and external excitation factors such as electromagnetic torque and running resistance are stressed. The research results indicate that gear eccentricity and running resistance have a significant impact on the stability of the system, and gear eccentricity leads to intensified system vibration and decreased anti-interference ability. In addition, the characteristic frequency of gear eccentricity can be extracted from mechanical signals and current signals as a preliminary basis for eccentricity detection, and electrical signals can also be used to monitor changes in train running resistance in real time. The results of this study provide some useful insights into designing dynamic performance parameters for HST transmission systems and monitoring train operational states.
