Uzbekistan Institute of Standards(UIS),founded in 1969,is the national standardization body of Uzbekistan.There are over 32,000 national standards in Uzbekistan.Last year,UIS revised the working regulations of all tec...Uzbekistan Institute of Standards(UIS),founded in 1969,is the national standardization body of Uzbekistan.There are over 32,000 national standards in Uzbekistan.Last year,UIS revised the working regulations of all technical committees,which were established in accordance with the organizational structure of ISO.At present,UIS has standardization training courses covering 54 directions,and more than 1,700 experts have received relevant training.UIS ranks the 95th in terms of the Quality Infrastructure for Sustainable Development(QI4SD)and 80th in terms of the Global Quality Infrastructure Index(GQII).It is a member of ISO and an associate member of IEC.In the UIS,40 experts have participated in the activities of various ISO technical committees,and 251 experts have participated in the discussion of IEC projects as observer members.展开更多

Knowledge graphs utilize a combination of technologies such as entities, attributes, relationships, and semantic annotations to demonstrate indispensable functionality in standardization processes, and especially excel in achieving semantic connectivity. This paper systematically analyzes the role of knowledge graph in each level using the standards hierarchical model as a framework. In Level 1, knowledge graph supports information extraction and preliminary tagging;in Level 2, it realizes structured and semantic processing of documents;in Level 3, it facilitates complex relationship modeling and executive integration;and it lays the foundation for advanced intelligent applications, autonomous standards governance and dynamic automatic updating in Level 4 and 5. This paper provides an in-depth discussion of its future directions and possible challenges, including key topics such as optimizing the scalability of knowledge graphs and facilitating cross-domain knowledge fusion. It shows that knowledge graphs provide powerful technical support for standards digitization and offer new possibilities for realizing smart manufacturing and cross-domain collaboration.展开更多

Distinct from the existing literature conforming to the Porter hypothesis which emphasizes the technological innovation mechanism,this paper examines the mechanism of technological transformation through which environ...Distinct from the existing literature conforming to the Porter hypothesis which emphasizes the technological innovation mechanism,this paper examines the mechanism of technological transformation through which environmental technical standards influence the manufacturing industry in reducing emissions and improving efficiency(i.e.green transition).Furthermore,drawing upon enterprise samples from the databases of Chinese Industrial Enterprises and Chinese Industrial Pollution Sources from Major Monitored Enterprises,it empirically validates the results of the theoretical analysis.Overall,our research reveals that environmental technical standards can propel manufacturing enterprises to reduce pollution and increase productivity by following an incremental path of technological transformation,thereby achieving a green transition.Moreover,environmental technical standards indirectly promote green technology innovation in the upstream equipment manufacturing enterprises.Heterogeneity analysis further shows that environmental technical standards have a stronger effect of green transition on those companies with higher pollution emission intensity,lower productivity,slower capital renewal and stronger financing capacity prior to implementing the environmental policies.展开更多

We firstly constructed a manufacturing chain network and analyzed its three relationship structures among suppliers with the presence of different relationship densities, and found that all the three relationships brought about the game of production technical standards between partnership-rich and partnership-scanty suppliers. Then we built a two-party payoff matrix, and analyzed the two-party game and evolutionary stable strategy, based on replication dynamic equation and asymmetric evolutionary game theory. The evolutionary stable strategies of two parties under varying payoff parameters were validated through numerical simulation. Finally, we proposed some suggestions for both those manufacturers with more partners and fewer partners, respectively.展开更多
