The real-world fuel efficiency and exhaust emission profiles of CO, HC and NOx for light-duty diesel vehicles were investigated. Using a portable emissions measurement system, 16 diesel taxies were tested on different roads in Macao and the data were normalized with the vehicle specific power bin method. The 11 Toyota Corolla diesel taxies have very good fuel economy of (5.9 ± 0.6) L/100 km, while other five diesel taxies showed relatively high values at (8.5 ± 1.7) L/100 km due to the variation in transmission systems and emission control strategies. Compared to similar Corolla gasoline models, the diesel cars confirmed an advantage of ca. 20% higher fuel efficiency. HC and CO emissions of all the 16 taxies are quite low, with the average at (0.05 ± 0.02) g/km and (0.38 ± 0.15) g/km, respectively. The average NOx emission factor of the 11 Corolla taxies is (0.56 ± 0.17) g/km, about three times higher than their gasoline counterparts. Two of the three Hyundai Sonata taxies, configured with exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) + diesel oxidation catalyst (DOC) emission control strategies, indicated significantly higher NO2 emissions and NO2/NOx ratios than other diesel taxies and consequently trigger a concern of possibly adverse impacts on ozone pollution in urban areas with this technology combination. A clear and similar pattern for fuel consumption and for each of the three gaseous pollutant emissions with various road conditions was identified. To save energy and mitigate CO2 emissions as well as other gaseous pollutant emissions in urban area, traffic planning also needs improvement. 展开更多

Poor road conditions in underground mine tunnels can lead to decreased production efficiency and increased wear on production vehicles. A prototype system for road condition monitoring is presented in this paper to counteract this. The system consists of three components i.e. localization, road monitoring, and scheduling. The localization of vehicles is performed using a Rao-Blackwellized extended particle filter, combining vehicle mounted sensors with signal strengths of Wi Fi access points. Two methods for road monitoring are described: a Kalman filter used together with a model of the vehicle suspension system, and a relative condition measure based on the power spectral density. Lastly, a method for taking automatic action on an ill-conditioned road segment is proposed in the form of a rescheduling algorithm.The scheduling algorithm is based on the large neighborhood search and is used to integrate road service activities in the short-term production schedule while minimizing introduced production disturbances.The system is demonstrated on experimental data collected in a Swedish underground mine. 展开更多

Road condition is an important variable to measure in order to decrease road and vehicle operating/maintenance costs, but also to increase ride comfort and traffic safety. By using the built-in vibration sensor in smart phones, it is possible to collect road roughness data which can be an indicator of road condition up to a level of Class 2 or 3 in a simple and cost efficient way. Since data collection therefore is possible to be done more frequently, one can better monitor roughness changes over time. The continuous data collection can also give early warnings of changes and damage, enable new ways to work in the operational road maintenance management, and can serve as a guide for more accurate surveys for strategic asset management and pavement planning. Collected measurement data are wirelessly transferred by the operator when needed via a web service to an internet mapping server with spatial filtering functions. The measured data can be aggregated in preferred sections, as well as exported to other GlS (geographical information systems) or road management systems. Our conclusion is that measuring roads with smart phones can provide an efficient, scalable, and cost-effective way for road organizations to deliver road condition data. 展开更多

A novel tire-road adaptive model in longitude direction to formulate the dynamic characteristic between tire and road is proposed in this paper, based on this model, a new adaptive approach of road condition identification is presented to identify the model's parameters on-line in order to improve the performance of anti-slip regulation system(ASR). The optimal slip is determined by using the drive wheel's slip and longitude traction force in ASR before the slipping of the drive wheel. Co-simulation is done based on the model for JETTA GTX building with ADAMS/CAR and Matlab, and results show that the adaptive model accords with Pacejka model very well. This adaptive model has simpler form, less number of parameters and higher adaptability than usual, and the new identification approach has a small amounts of operation, which is very suitful for ASR. 展开更多

China, parameters and the effect of accidents caused by horizontal alignment, vertical alignment, cross section and intersection are studied systematically The disciplinary analysis of these effects are presented in this paper. The viewpoint is acknowledged that high sub grade and steep slopes are against traffic safety, which is common and ignored in high-usage highways in China. Many gravel roads were constructed in rural areas in the Kyela district and they were well-served for many years. Besides the gravel roads, the main challenge faced is the issue of unpaved road condition deterioration by the behaviors of road materials. The study selected three gravel rural roads with a total of 31.24 kilometers as constructed roads to gravel standard. The aim of this study was to assess gravel roads condition to examine trends and behaviors of gravel roads in rural areas. A descriptive analysis was conducted to determine trends and behaviors of gravel roads. The methods used to collect data were observation and physical measurement. The results show that there was more than one road distress identified and assessed on each study road. It was noted that all the study roads had excellent to poor distress conditions associated with poor road materials and lack of maintenance. This study recommended that road authorities improve the current condition by avoiding the use of poor road materials in order to reduce surface deterioration associated. 展开更多

Motorcycles are the riskiest mode of travel in Malaysia,however motorcycles are also very sensitive to the road surface condition.Thus,by taking advantage of this,a system of software applications that analyses motorcycle motion and mapped out risky road sections was developed,i.e.ROCOM.The system consists of three major components,i.e.ROCOM Data Logger app,which utilizes a smart phone to collect acceleration data,ROCOM Risk Mapping app,which is a web-based application,and ROCOM Visual Tracking,which is a stand along software.ROCOM is able to detect adverse acceleration( >2g)or vibration on the road surface similar to the High Accuracy GPS Data Logging for Vehicle Testing(VBOX).Risk mapping validation along a section of the motorcycle lane along Federal Route 2 shows that not only ROCOM have the similar risk-mapping pattern,but its route tracking capability on the map is far superior that the VBOX.The pilot and field test results showed that ROCOM works best when mounting the smartphone on the motorcycle handle bar or basket,and it can detect various road anomalies with successful detection rate of 62%,with high detection rate when passing through uneven road surfaces. 展开更多

Road transport safety policies have emphasized road infrastructure safety design and engineering as a core function.However,in developing countries like Vietnam,this approach has been slower to adopt,resulting in substandard roads.In-depth studies of accident locations indicate that road environment factors contribute significantly to road accidents in Vietnam and road design features are associated with specific accident types and hazards.Proactive and reactive approaches,such as road safety audit,inspection,assessment,and treatment of hazardous locations,are necessary to ensure that the road and its environment are safe.This paper provides an overview of road safety in Vietnam in general,and Ho Chi Minh in particular,including its factors and characteristics,as well as road infrastructure safety improvements.The iRap tool for road safety inspection and assessment is highlighted as a potential method for systematically analyzing road infrastructure deficiencies and providing targeted countermeasures to improve road safety under mixed traffic conditions. 展开更多

The characteristics of action of recovering from erroneous driving condition underlying road traffic accident or incident scenarios is quantitatively analyzed, the model of action of recovering from erroneous driving condition is set up according to the identification of erroneous driving condition and the measurement of correction from erroneous driving condition. And then, the probability of action of recovering from erroneous driving condition has been measured based on a revised decision tree. The measure process uses a combination of test data and subjective judgments of driving behavior. 目前,为全面评估车辆排放性能,我国引入了实际行驶排放(RDE)测试标准,测试要求车辆按照市区—市郊—高速不同速度水平的路段顺序连续行驶,分别对各路段行程提出了多方面规定,且使用Pemns设备获得车辆在未预设的随机情景下的道路排放水... 目前,为全面评估车辆排放性能,我国引入了实际行驶排放(RDE)测试标准,测试要求车辆按照市区—市郊—高速不同速度水平的路段顺序连续行驶,分别对各路段行程提出了多方面规定,且使用Pemns设备获得车辆在未预设的随机情景下的道路排放水平。但在实际道路排放水平测量中,Pemns设备受技术限制的影响很大。为此,提出了基于RDE测试规程的随机行驶工况的开发方法和工具,根据速度要求划分市区、市郊和高速短行程。首先,对各短行程库样本进行大量随机组合,并根据路段的具体规定要求进行全面校验后,建立市区、市郊和高速曲线库;其次,通过建立、分析和对比满足不同层次指标条件的备选市郊曲线库,确定最优市郊曲线库;最后,对曲线进行跨路段的随机组合,即时稳定地构建能够反映路线情景且满足RDE规程的随机行驶工况。该方法构建的工况可反映车辆实际行驶特征且满足现有RDE测试在速度、时长、里程、路段比例和动力学特性方面的规程要求,将工况提供给底盘测功机试验操作,评估车辆在未预设的实际道路随机情景下的排放水平,实现将RDE行驶路线从实际道路向试验室的转换。 展开更多

本文关注非可视条件下的智能驾驶需求,利用毫米波雷达可全天候工作及受光照和天气影响较小的特性,实现路面可跨越障碍物的形位特征识别。本文以路面减速带为例,构建基于毫米波雷达的路面障碍物特征感知系统,将雷达天线平面朝向地面并与... 本文关注非可视条件下的智能驾驶需求,利用毫米波雷达可全天候工作及受光照和天气影响较小的特性,实现路面可跨越障碍物的形位特征识别。本文以路面减速带为例,构建基于毫米波雷达的路面障碍物特征感知系统,将雷达天线平面朝向地面并与地面保持一定夹角,利用FFT-CZT两级处理结构对雷达中频数据进行频谱细化,获得较高精度的距离值。进一步通过分析雷达点云数据,将每帧数据中获取的最短目标距离值进行融合,得到路面减速带的二维可视化成像。最后,通过对可视化数据的分析,建立路面减速带几何模型,提出减速带特征参数计算方法。本文搭建了实车测试平台,采集了从0°到90°不同夹角数据,在45°夹角处得到减速带高度估计值平均绝对误差保持在4 mm以内,宽度估计值平均绝对误差为21 mm,验证了本文提出方法的有效性。 展开更多

目标识别检测是自动驾驶技术中的关键技术,但是现有目标识别算法在复杂路况场景下检测精度偏低。本文首先对YOLOv8算法进行改进,引入多头自注意力(multi-head self-attention,MHSA)机制到特征检测层,由于MHSA具有对存在车辆和行人的区... 目标识别检测是自动驾驶技术中的关键技术,但是现有目标识别算法在复杂路况场景下检测精度偏低。本文首先对YOLOv8算法进行改进,引入多头自注意力(multi-head self-attention,MHSA)机制到特征检测层,由于MHSA具有对存在车辆和行人的区域进行选择性关注的特点,最终能捕获更高级的语义特征;然后引入可变形卷积v2,在各位置上通过学习获得偏移参数,自适应调整感知区域以适应复杂的视觉任务,并能够更好地捕获目标的空间变化和形状信息;最后在城市道路数据集进行训练,得到消融实验和对比实验结果。结果表明,改进后的YOLOv8算法在复杂场景下的性能优于原算法,平均精度均值达到93.14%,提升了5.29%,目标检测性能更好。 展开更多

融合多模态信息与激光雷达的短时路况预测研究

由于受外界环境因素影响,车辆的行驶速度是变化的,因此,不能使用固定短时刻路段上车辆的平均速度进行路况预测,考虑到该问题,提出一种融合多模态信息与激光雷达的短时路况预测方法。根据提取到的激光雷达点云特征,获取二维空间与三维空... 由于受外界环境因素影响,车辆的行驶速度是变化的,因此,不能使用固定短时刻路段上车辆的平均速度进行路况预测,考虑到该问题,提出一种融合多模态信息与激光雷达的短时路况预测方法。根据提取到的激光雷达点云特征,获取二维空间与三维空间对应的图像特征组块。然后将二维空间与三维空间对应的图像特征组块进行拼接融合,将完成多模态信息融合后的特征图输入到三维空间中,当三维和二维区域获取的检测结果均为同一目标,获取多模态融合信息下的目标检测结果。充分考虑车辆行驶速度的变化特点,引入后验概率,将目标检测结果代入至最大后验概率中,并将先验分布以及条件概率进行综合,提取最大联合概率的估计量即为最终预测值。实验结果表明,所提出的方法预测效果良好,其预测结果的均方根误差较小,预测精度较高。 展开更多

制备条件对低碳无机聚合物型固化土性能的影响

【目标】以工业废渣制备低碳无机聚合物型固化剂,旨在解决传统土体固化用胶凝材料的高碳排放、高能耗问题;进而探究该固化剂用于土体固化时,制备方式和养护温度对固化土综合性能的影响程度,并揭示二者与固化土综合性能的关联机制。【方... 【目标】以工业废渣制备低碳无机聚合物型固化剂,旨在解决传统土体固化用胶凝材料的高碳排放、高能耗问题;进而探究该固化剂用于土体固化时,制备方式和养护温度对固化土综合性能的影响程度,并揭示二者与固化土综合性能的关联机制。【方法】通过抗压强度测试和水稳定性试验,结合XRD,SEM,FTIR,TG-DTG等微观表征手段,系统研究了4个养护温度梯度下和2种制备方式下固化土的宏观性能与微观结构特征。2种制备方式为:先干料拌和后加溶液混合湿拌(G1);先制备固化剂浆体再与土料拌和(G2)。【结果】G1方式下固化土强度最高可达4.7 MPa,G2方式下则可达8.0 MPa。养护温度20~80℃范围内,G2方式下固化土的水稳定性劣于G1方式,强度损失值较G1方式提高了2.3 MPa,水稳系数降低了0.26。相关性分析表明,养护温度对固化土抗压强度和水稳定性均有显著影响,而制备方式仅对水稳定性有显著影响。固化土主要特征矿物相包括N—A—S—H凝胶、石英、沸石、铁云母及铝镁氢钙矾。G1方式下,固化土体系内生成的网状铝硅酸盐产物可有效填充土颗粒间孔隙并连接片层状土颗粒。【结论】G1方式可显著提升固化土整体性,使其综合性能更优;养护温度对固化土强度提升效果显著,但会对其水稳定性产生不同程度的削弱作用。 展开更多

为了建立稻壳油生物沥青结合料模拟短期老化与混合料模拟短期老化的对应关系,将稻壳油生物沥青经过不同温度和不同时间的旋转薄膜烘箱老化(RTFOT)后测试针入度、软化点、延度及135℃黏度值,并与混合料短期老化(135℃、4 h)后抽提回收的... 为了建立稻壳油生物沥青结合料模拟短期老化与混合料模拟短期老化的对应关系,将稻壳油生物沥青经过不同温度和不同时间的旋转薄膜烘箱老化(RTFOT)后测试针入度、软化点、延度及135℃黏度值,并与混合料短期老化(135℃、4 h)后抽提回收的生物沥青进行对比。采用灰色关联度分析法确定生物沥青的短期老化条件,通过FT-IR、GPC实验分析稻壳油生物沥青的老化机理。结果表明:稻壳油生物沥青结合料模拟短期老化的条件为老化时间65 min,老化温度150℃;稻壳油生物沥青经过短期老化后,羰基、亚砜基指数及芳香度值变大,小分子量减少,大分子量增多。生物沥青在老化过程中发生氧化反应,轻质组分向沥青质转变,最终导致生物沥青变硬变脆,针入度、延度值变小,软化点及黏度值变大。 展开更多

针对目前断路、断电、断网等极端条件下的应急通信系统存在的问题以及技术盲点,开展应急通信系统关键技术研究及系统架构设计。首先通过分析灾后断路、断电、断网原因,得出极端条件下应急通信系统三大需求特点;其次对通信系统的可靠性... 针对目前断路、断电、断网等极端条件下的应急通信系统存在的问题以及技术盲点,开展应急通信系统关键技术研究及系统架构设计。首先通过分析灾后断路、断电、断网原因,得出极端条件下应急通信系统三大需求特点;其次对通信系统的可靠性提升、灵活适应、快速部署三大类关键技术进行深入探索,分析了空天地网络切片、网络协同技术等多个技术的业务类型、适用情景及性能特点;然后建立以“空天地一体化”通信系统为主框架,“公专结合、宽窄融合”相辅助的集中冗余型应急通信系统,并提出了涵盖终端层、接入层、网络层和决策层的多层次资源协同管理应急通信方案;最后设计出极端条件下多场景联动、多方式优选的应急通信系统架构流程与应用模式。结果表明:该应急通信系统能够在极端条件下,实现通信网络全覆盖、多源信息实时传输与分析和各层次资源共享,从而提高了应急通信保障能力和快速恢复能力。研究能够为极端条件下应急通信的恢复与保障问题提供可靠的解决方案。 展开更多

电加热融雪防冰路面隔热层厚度设置策略

【目标】研究隔热层厚度和碳纤维发热线温度在路面日周期热边界条件下对路面融雪化冰的影响。【方法】建立水平敷设发热线时沥青路面结构的导热方程,利用MATLAB软件求解得到温度场数值解。选取湖南省某地冬季冰冻环境的气象数据作为计... 【目标】研究隔热层厚度和碳纤维发热线温度在路面日周期热边界条件下对路面融雪化冰的影响。【方法】建立水平敷设发热线时沥青路面结构的导热方程,利用MATLAB软件求解得到温度场数值解。选取湖南省某地冬季冰冻环境的气象数据作为计算条件,设路面温度为4.8℃以上,发热线温度为30~50℃,计算隔热层厚度范围在5~40 mm时的路面温升速率。【结果】在相同发热线温度条件下,隔热层5 mm时的路表面平均温升速率比无隔热层时提高3.5~9倍,隔热层10 mm时提高3.55~9.50倍,隔热层厚度超过10 mm后,路表面平均温升速率的增长趋势不明显;路表面温升速率不仅与隔热层厚度呈非线性关系,也与发热线温度呈非线性关系,因此并非选用的隔热层厚度越厚,路表升温融雪除冰效果越好;增设的隔热层可以阻止发热线产生的大部分热量流向地下,使路表温度分布更加均匀,有隔热层的路表温度也比无隔热层的更高。寒冷和严寒地区气象条件下的模拟计算结果表明,路面温度同样为4.8℃以上时需要将发热线温度提高至50~70℃范围。【结论】综合考虑路面升温性能和工程成本,发热线温度取30~70℃,敷设5~10 mm的隔热层较为适宜。 展开更多
