Our calculation mainly focuses on the frequency dependence of the IO phonon modes on the wave-vector and quantum number in the cylindrical quantum dot system. Results reveal that the frequency of top interface optical phonon sensitively depends on the discrete wave-vector in z direction and the azimuthal quantum number, while that of the side interface optical phonon mode depends on the radial and azimuthal quantum numbers. These features are obviously different from those in quantum well, quantum well wire, and spherical quantum dot systems. The limited frequencies of interface optical modes for the large wave-vector or quantum number approach two certain constant values, and the math and physical reasons for this feature have been explained reasonably.展开更多

The analyzer is implemented with a field-programmable-gate-arrays (FPGA) chip for data and command management. An analog-to-digital-convertor chip is integrated for analog signal acquisition. In order to meet the various requirements of measuring different types of spin noise spectrums, multiple operating modes are designed and realized using the reprogrammable FPGA logic resources. The FFT function is fully managed by the programmable resource inside the FPGA chip. A 1 GSa/s sampling rate and a 100 percent data coverage ratio with non-dead-time are obtained. 30534 FFT spectrums can be acquired per second, and the spectrums can be on-board accumulated and averaged. Digital filters, multi-stage reconfigurable data reconstruction modules, and frequency down conversion modules are also implemented in the FPGA to provide flexible real-time data processing capacity, thus the noise floor and signals aliasing can be suppressed effectively. An efficiency comparison between the FPGA-based FFT spectrum analyzer and the software-based FFT is demonstrated, and the high performance FFT spectrum analyzer has a significant advantage in obtaining high resolution spin noise spectrums with enhanced efficiency.展开更多

Taking pretension effect in cables and geometrical nonlinearity into account, the nonlinear acceleration spectrums are calculated under given conditions, such as site and different seismic fortification intensities. The seismic design response spectrums are developed. During vibrating, varying period due to the influence of pretension effect in cables and geometrical nonlinearity drives the maximum period of plateau in nonlinear response spectrums to move towards the long period zone, and the maximum of seismic effect coefficient is larger than that of current seismic code. The theoretical analysis and the example demonstrate that using the nonlinear response spectrums is safe and economical.展开更多

This paper proposes a novel approach to extract metabolite values represented in a graphical form in MR Spectroscopy image. Metabolites like N-acetyl aspartate (NAA), Choline (CHO) along with the metabolite ratios NAA/CHO and presence/absence of LACTATE peak play the most important role in deciding the tumor type. The proposed approach consists of several steps including preprocessing, metabolite peak height scanning and classification. Proposed system stores the metabolite values in dataset instead of storing MRS images;so reduces the image processing tasks and memory requirements. Further these metabolite values and ratios are fed to a BPN classifier. Experimental results demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed approach in classifying the brain tumors.展开更多

Alt...Mitochondrial dysfunction has emerged as a critical factor in the etiology of various neurodevelopmental disorders, including autism spectrum disorders, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder, and Rett syndrome. Although these conditions differ in clinical presentation, they share fundamental pathological features that may stem from abnormal mitochondrial dynamics and impaired autophagic clearance, which contribute to redox imbalance and oxidative stress in neurons. This review aimed to elucidate the relationship between mitochondrial dynamics dysfunction and neurodevelopmental disorders. Mitochondria are highly dynamic organelles that undergo continuous fusion and fission to meet the substantial energy demands of neural cells. Dysregulation of these processes, as observed in certain neurodevelopmental disorders, causes accumulation of damaged mitochondria, exacerbating oxidative damage and impairing neuronal function. The phosphatase and tensin homolog-induced putative kinase 1/E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase pathway is crucial for mitophagy, the process of selectively removing malfunctioning mitochondria. Mutations in genes encoding mitochondrial fusion proteins have been identified in autism spectrum disorders, linking disruptions in the fusion-fission equilibrium to neurodevelopmental impairments. Additionally, animal models of Rett syndrome have shown pronounced defects in mitophagy, reinforcing the notion that mitochondrial quality control is indispensable for neuronal health. Clinical studies have highlighted the importance of mitochondrial disturbances in neurodevelopmental disorders. In autism spectrum disorders, elevated oxidative stress markers and mitochondrial DNA deletions indicate compromised mitochondrial function. Attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder has also been associated with cognitive deficits linked to mitochondrial dysfunction and oxidative stress. Moreover, induced pluripotent stem cell models derived from patients with Rett syndrome have shown impaired mitochondrial dynamics and heightened vulnerability to oxidative injury, suggesting the role of defective mitochondrial homeostasis in these disorders. From a translational standpoint, multiple therapeutic approaches targeting mitochondrial pathways show promise. Interventions aimed at preserving normal fusion-fission cycles or enhancing mitophagy can reduce oxidative damage by limiting the accumulation of defective mitochondria. Pharmacological modulation of mitochondrial permeability and upregulation of peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor gamma coactivator 1-alpha, an essential regulator of mitochondrial biogenesis, may also ameliorate cellular energy deficits. Identifying early biomarkers of mitochondrial impairment is crucial for precision medicine, since it can help clinicians tailor interventions to individual patient profiles and improve prognoses. Furthermore, integrating mitochondria-focused strategies with established therapies, such as antioxidants or behavioral interventions, may enhance treatment efficacy and yield better clinical outcomes. Leveraging these pathways could open avenues for regenerative strategies, given the influence of mitochondria on neuronal repair and plasticity. In conclusion, this review indicates mitochondrial homeostasis as a unifying therapeutic axis within neurodevelopmental pathophysiology. Disruptions in mitochondrial dynamics and autophagic clearance converge on oxidative stress, and researchers should prioritize validating these interventions in clinical settings to advance precision medicine and enhance outcomes for individuals affected by neurodevelopmental disorders.展开更多

文摘The dispersions of the top interface optical phonons and the side interface optical phonons in cylindrical quantum dots are solved by using the dielectric continuum model. The limited frequencies of interface optical modes for the large wave-vector or quantum number approach two certain constant values, and the math and physical reasons for this feature have been explained reasonably.

文摘Aiming at the seismic-resistant performance of cable-supported glass curtain walls, the methods for formulating nonlinear single degree of freedom system and calculating the nonlinear response spectrums are proposed. The theoretical analysis and the example demonstrate that using the nonlinear response spectrums is safe and economical.
文摘The GC-MS spectrums of a sample from Amanitaceae family and Mycenaceae family were matched with their close match GC-MS spectrums from the spectrum library. The samples from Amanitaceae family (KMsp027) and Mycenaceae family (KMsp039) were found to contain fatty acid methyl esters (methyl palmitate and methyl linoleate). It is proposed that the presence of methyl linoleate and methyl palmitate in the samples may show antibacterial activities if tested against different bacterial strains.
文摘In this paper, we attempt to resolve the problem of grading of brain tumors as grade 2, grade 3, grade 4, using information from magnetic resonance spectroscopy (MRS) image, to assist in clinical diagnosis. Experimental results demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed approach in classifying the brain tumors.

文摘Electric vehicles are widely embraced as a promising solution to reduce energy consumption and emission to achieve the Carbon Peak and Carbon Neutrality vision, especially in developing countries.Specifically,it’s vital important to understand the ecological performance of electric vehicles and its association with driving behaviors under varying road and environmental conditions. However, current researches on ecological driving behavior mostly use structured data to reflect the characteristics of ecological driving behavior, and it is difficult to accurately reveal the recessive relationship between driving behavior and energy consumption. One promising and prevalent method for comprehensively and in-depth characterizing driving behaviors is“graph spectrums”,which allows for an effective and illustrative representation of complex driving behavior characteristics. This study presented an assessment method of ecological driving for electric vehicles based on the graph.Firstly,a multi-source refined data set was constructed through naturalistic driving experiments(NDE).Four typical traffic state(CCCF:congested close car-following;CSSF:constrained slow free-flow;CSCF:constrained slow carfollowing;UFFF:unconstrained fast free-flow)were classified through longitudinal acceleration data, and driving behavior graph was constructed to realize the visual representation of driving behavior. Then, the energy consumption graph was constructed using the energy loss of 100 km(EL)index. After the six drivers with the highest and lowest ecological assessment of driving behavior using the behavior graph and energy consumption graph, proposing the quantitative analysis of fifteen drivers'ecology driving behavior. The results show that:1)The graphical method can describe the individual features of a driver’s ecological driving behavior;2)Rapid acceleration of driving behavior leads to high energy consumption;3)In the comparison among the six ecodrivers and energy-intensive drivers, founding that the energy-intensive drivers accelerate and decelerate significantly more in CCCF traffic state;4)The driving behavior was more complex and unecological in CCCF traffic state;5)Fifteen drivers had lower ecological scores in start-up driving. This study proposes a method for visualizing ecology driving behavior that not only help understand the individual characteristics of ecological driving behaviors, but also offers substantial application value for the subsequent construction of Ecological driving behavior regulation models.
文摘Mitochondrial dysfunction has emerged as a critical factor in the etiology of various neurodevelopmental disorders, including autism spectrum disorders, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder, and Rett syndrome. Disruptions in mitochondrial dynamics and autophagic clearance converge on oxidative stress, and researchers should prioritize validating these interventions in clinical settings to advance precision medicine and enhance outcomes for individuals affected by neurodevelopmental disorders.

文摘High-temperature microwave absorbing materials(MAMs)and structures are increasingly appealing due to their critical role in stealth applications under harsh environments. However, the impedance mismatch caused by increased conduction loss often leads to a significant decline in electromagnetic wave absorp-tion(EMWA)performance at elevated temperatures, which severely restricts their practical application. In this study,we propose a novel approach for efficient electromagnetic wave absorption across a wide temperature range using reduced graphene oxide(RGO)/epoxy resin(EP)metacomposites that integrate both electromagnetic parameters and metamaterial design concepts.Due to the discrete distribution of the units, electromagnetic waves can more easily penetrate the interior of materials, thereby exhibiting stable microwave absorption(MA)performance and impedance-matching characteristics suitable across a wide temperature range.Consequently, exceptional MA properties can be achieved within the tem-perature range from 298 to 473 K.Furthermore,by carefully controlling the structural parameters in RGO metacomposites, both the resonant frequency and effective absorption bandwidth(EAB)can be optimized based on precise manipulation of equivalent electromagnetic parameters. This study not only provides an effective approach for the rational design of MA performance but also offers novel insights into achieving super metamaterials with outstanding performance across a wide temperature spectrum.

文摘Neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorders are neuroinflammatory demyelinating disorders that lead to permanent visual loss and motor dysfunction. To date,no effective treatment exists as the exact causative mechanism remains unknown. Therefore, experimental models of neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorders are essential for exploring its pathogenesis and in screening for therapeutic targets.Since most patients with neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorders are seropositive for IgG autoantibodies against aquaporin-4,which is highly expressed on the membrane of astrocyte endfeet, most current experimental models are based on aquaporin-4-IgG that initially targets astrocytes. These experimental models have successfully simulated many pathological features of neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorders, such as aquaporin-4 loss, astrocytopathy, granulocyte and macrophage infiltration, complement activation, demyelination, and neuronal loss;however, they do not fully capture the pathological process of human neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorders. In this review,we summarize the currently known pathogenic mechanisms and the development of associated experimental models in vitro,ex vivo, and in vivo for neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorders, suggest potential pathogenic mechanisms for further investigation, and provide guidance on experimental model choices. In addition, this review summarizes the latest information on pathologies and therapies for neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorders based on experimental models of aquaporin-4-IgG-seropositive neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorders, offering further therapeutic targets and a theoretical basis for clinical trials.

文摘The protein connector enhancer of kinase suppressor of Ras 2(CNKSR2),present in both the postsynaptic density and cytoplasm of neurons,is a scaffolding protein with several protein-binding domains.Variants of the CNKSR2 gene have been implicated in neurodevelopmental disorders, particularly intellectual disability, although the precise mechanism involved has not yet been fully understood.Research has demonstrated that CNKSR2 plays a role in facilitating the localization of postsynaptic density protein complexes to the membrane, thereby influencing synaptic signaling and the morphogenesis of dendritic spines. However, the function of CNKSR2 in the cytoplasm remains to be elucidated. In this study,we used immunoprecipitation and high-resolution liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry to identify the interactors of CNKSR2.Through a combination of bioinformatic analysis and cytological experiments,we found that the CNKSR2 interactors were significantly enriched in the proteome of the centrosome. We also showed that CNKSR2 interacted with the microtubule protein DYNC1H1 and with the centrosome marker CEP290.Subsequent colocalization analysis confirmed the centrosomal localization of CNKSR2.When we downregulated CNKSR2 expression in mouse neuroblastoma cells(Neuro 2A),we observed significant changes in the expression of numerous centrosomal genes. This manipulation also affected centrosome-related functions, including cell size and shape, cell proliferation, and motility.Furthermore,we found that CNKSR2 interactors were highly enriched in de novo variants associated with intellectual disability and autism spectrum disorder. Our findings establish a connection between CNKSR2 and the centrosome, and offer new insights into the underlying mechanisms of neurodevelopmental disorders.

文摘This work demonstrates experimentally the close relation between return currents from relativistic laser-driven target polarization and the quality of the relativistic laser–plasma interaction for laser-driven secondary sources, taking as an example ion acceleration by target normal sheath acceleration. The Pearson linear correlation of maximum return current amplitude and proton spectrum cutoff energy is found to be in the range from~0.70 to 0.94.kA-scale return currents rise in all interaction schemes where targets of any kind are charged by escaping laser-accelerated relativistic electrons.Their precise measurement is demonstrated using an inductive scheme that allows operation at high repetition rates. Thus, return currents can be used as a metrological online tool for the optimization of many laser-driven secondary sources and for diagnosing their stability. In particular,in two parametric studies of laser-driven ion acceleration,we carry out a noninvasive online measurement of return currents in a tape target system irradiated by the 1 PW VEGA-3 laser at Centro de Láseres Pulsados:first the size of the irradiated area is varied at best compression of the laser pulse;second, the pulse duration is varied by means of induced group delay dispersion at best focus. This work paves the way to the development of feedback systems that operate at the high repetition rates of PW-class lasers.

文摘By combining data from the Challenging Minisatellite Payload(CHAMP),Swarm-A,and newest Macao Science Satellite-1(MSS-1) missions,we constructed a lithospheric magnetic field model up to spherical harmonic degree N = 100.To isolate the lithospheric magnetic field signals,we utilized the latest CHAOS-8(CHAMP,Φrsted,and SAC-C 8) model and MGFM(Multisource Geomagnetic Field Model) to remove nonlithospheric sources, including the core field, magnetospheric field, ocean tidal field, and ocean circulation field.Subsequently,orbit-by-orbit processing was applied to both scalar and vector data, such as spherical harmonic high-pass filtering, singular spectrum analysis, and line leveling,to suppress noise and residual signals along the satellite tracks. With an orbital inclination of only 41°,MSS-1 effectively captures fine-scale lithospheric magnetic field signals in mid-to low-latitude regions. Its data exhibit a root mean square error of only 0.77 nT relative to the final model, confirming the high quality and utility of lithospheric field modeling. The resulting model exhibits excellent consistency with the MF7(Magnetic Field Model 7),maintaining a high correlation up to N = 90 and still exceeding 0.65 at N = 100.These results demonstrate the reliability and value of MSS-1 data in global lithospheric magnetic field modeling.
文摘We performed a PubMed search for microRNAs in autism spectrum disorder that could serve as diagnostic biomarkers in patients and selected 17 articles published from January 2008 to December 2023,of which 4 studies were performed with whole blood,4 with blood plasma,5 with blood serum,1 with serum neural cell adhesion molecule L1-captured extracellular vesicles,1 with blood cells, and 2 with peripheral blood mononuclear cells. Most of the studies involved children and the study cohorts were largely males. Many of the studies had performed microRNA sequencing or quantitative polymerase chain reaction assays to measure microRNA expression.Only five studies had used real-time polymerase chain reaction assay to validate microRNA expression in autism spectrum disorder subjects compared to controls. The microRNAs that were validated in these studies may be considered as potential candidate biomarkers for autism spectrum disorder and include miR-500a-5p,-197-5p,-424-5p,-664a-3p,-365a-3p,-619-5p,-664a-3p,-3135a,-328-3p,and-500a-5p in blood plasma and miR-151a-3p,-181b-5p,-320a,-328,-433,-489,-572,-663a,-101-3p,-106b-5p,-19b-3p,-195-5p,and-130a-3p in blood serum of children, and miR-15b-5p and-6126 in whole blood of adults.Several important limitations were identified in the studies reviewed, and need to be taken into account in future studies.Further studies are warranted with children and adults having different levels of autism spectrum disorder severity and consideration should be given to using animal models of autism spectrum disorder to investigate the effects of suppressing or overexpressing specific microRNAs as a novel therapy.
文摘Two novel lanthanide complexes,[Sm_(2)(BA)_(6)(4-OH-terpy)_(2)]·2H_(2)O·2EtOH(1)and[Pr_(2)(BA)_(6)(4-OH-terpy)_(2)(H_(2)O)_(2)]·HBA·H_(2)O(2),where HBA=benzoic acid,4-OH-terpy=4-hydroxy-2,2'∶6',2″-terpyridine,were successfully synthesized using ultrasonic dissolution and the conventional solution method with two mixed ligands HBA and 4-OH-terpy.During the synthesis,4-OH-terpy was involved in the reaction as a neutral ligand, while HBA,in its deprotonated form(BA-),coordinated with the lanthanide ions as an acidic ligand. The crystal structures of these two complexes were precisely determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction.Elemental analysis, infrared and Raman spectroscopy, and powder X-ray diffraction techniques were also employed to further explore the physicochemical properties of the two complexes. The single-crystal X-ray diffraction data indicate that, despite their structural differences, both complexes belong to the triclinic crystal system P1 space group. The central lanthanide ions have the same coordination number but exhibit different coordination environments. To comprehensively evaluate the thermal stability of these two complexes, comprehensive tests including thermogravimetric analysis, differential thermogravimetric analysis, differential scanning calorimetry,Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, and mass spectrometry were conducted.Meanwhile,an in-depth investigation was conducted into the 3D infrared stacked images and mass spectra of the gases emitted from the complexes. In addition, studies of the fluorescence properties of complex1 showed that it exhibited fluorescence emission matching the Sm^(3+)characteristic transition.
