The integration of deep learning into smart grid operations addresses critical challenges in dynamic load forecasting and optimal dispatch amid increasing renewable energy penetration.This study proposes a hybrid LSTM-Transformer architecture for multi-scale temporal-spatial load prediction,achieving 28%RMSE reduction on real-world datasets(CAISO,PJM),coupled with a deep reinforcement learning framework for multi-objective dispatch optimization that lowers operational costs by 12.4%while ensuring stability constraints.The synergy between adaptive forecasting models and scenario-based stochastic optimization demonstrates superior performance in handling renewable intermittency and demand volatility,validated through grid-scale case studies.Methodological innovations in federated feature extraction and carbon-aware scheduling further enhance scalability for distributed energy systems.These advancements provide actionable insights for grid operators transitioning to low-carbon paradigms,emphasizing computational efficiency and interoperability with legacy infrastructure. 展开更多

The present situation of lacking fast and effective coal and gas outburst prediction techniques will lead to long out- burst prevention cycles and poor accurate prediction effects and slows down coal roadway drive speed seriously. Also, due to historical and economic reasons, some coal mines in China are equipped with poor safety equipment, and the staff professional capability is low. What's worse, artificial and mine geological conditions have great influences on the traditional technologies of coal and gas outburst prediction. Therefore, seeking a new fast and efficient coal and gas outburst prediction method is nec- essary. By using system engineering theory, combined with the current mine production conditions and based on the coal and gas outburst composite hypothesis, a coal and gas outburst spatiotemporal forecasting system was established. This system can guide forecasting work schedule, optimize prediction technologies, carry out step-by-step prediction and eliminate hazard hier- archically. From the point of view of application, the proposed system improves the prediction efficiency and accuracy. On this basis, computational intelligence methods to construct disaster information analysis platform were used. Feed-back results pro- vide decision support to mine safety supervisors. 展开更多

Prompt and accurate traffic flow forecasting is a key foundation of urban traffic management.However,the flows in different areas and feature channels(inflow/outflow)may correspond to different degrees of importance in forecasting flows.Many forecasting models inadequately consider this heterogeneity,resulting in decreased predictive accuracy.To overcome this problem,an attention-based hybrid spatiotemporal residual model assisted by spatial and channel information is proposed in this study.By assigning different weights(attention levels)to different regions,the spatial attention module selects relatively important locations from all inputs in the modeling process.Similarly,the channel attention module selects relatively important channels from the multichannel feature map in the modeling process by assigning different weights.The proposed model provides effective selection and attention results for key areas and channels,respectively,during the forecasting process,thereby decreasing the computational overhead and increasing the accuracy.In the case involving Beijing,the proposed model exhibits a 3.7%lower prediction error,and its runtime is 60.9%less the model without attention,indicating that the spatial and channel attention modules are instrumental in increasing the forecasting efficiency.Moreover,in the case involving Shanghai,the proposed model outperforms other models in terms of generalizability and practicality. 展开更多
