The information exchange among satellites is crucial for the implementation of cluster satellite cooperative missions.However,achieving fast perception,rapid networking,and highprecision time synchronization among nod...The information exchange among satellites is crucial for the implementation of cluster satellite cooperative missions.However,achieving fast perception,rapid networking,and highprecision time synchronization among nodes without the support of the Global Navigation Satellite System(GNSS)and other prior information remains a formidable challenge to real-time wireless networks design.Therefore,a self-organizing network methodology based on multi-agent negotiation is proposed,which autonomously determines the master node through collaborative negotiation and competitive elections.On this basis,a real-time network protocol design is carried out and a high-precision time synchronization method with motion compensation is proposed.Simulation results demonstrate that the proposed method enables rapid networking with the capability of selfdiscovery,self-organization,and self-healing.For a cluster of 8 satellites,the networking time and the reorganization time are less than 4 s.The time synchronization accuracy exceeds 10-10s with motion compensation,demonstrating excellent real-time performance and stability.The research presented in this paper provides a valuable reference for the design and application of spacebased self-organizing networks for satellite cluster.展开更多
The rise of time-sensitive applications with broad geographical scope drives the development of time-sensitive networking(TSN)from intra-domain to inter-domain to ensure overall end-to-end connectivity requirements in...The rise of time-sensitive applications with broad geographical scope drives the development of time-sensitive networking(TSN)from intra-domain to inter-domain to ensure overall end-to-end connectivity requirements in heterogeneous deployments.When multiple TSN networks interconnect over non-TSN networks,all devices in the network need to be syn-chronized by sharing a uniform time reference.How-ever,most non-TSN networks are best-effort.Path delay asymmetry and random noise accumulation can introduce unpredictable time errors during end-to-end time synchronization.These factors can degrade syn-chronization performance.Therefore,cross-domain time synchronization becomes a challenging issue for multiple TSN networks interconnected by non-TSN networks.This paper presents a cross-domain time synchronization scheme that follows the software-defined TSN(SD-TSN)paradigm.It utilizes a com-bined control plane constructed by a coordinate con-troller and a domain controller for centralized control and management of cross-domain time synchroniza-tion.The general operation flow of the cross-domain time synchronization process is designed.The mecha-nism of cross-domain time synchronization is revealed by introducing a synchronization model and an error compensation method.A TSN cross-domain proto-type testbed is constructed for verification.Results show that the scheme can achieve end-to-end high-precision time synchronization with accuracy and sta-bility.展开更多
Time synchronization is a prerequisite for ensuring determinism in time-sensitive networking(TSN).While time synchronization errors cannot be overlooked,pursuing minimal time errors may incur unnecessary costs.Using c...Time synchronization is a prerequisite for ensuring determinism in time-sensitive networking(TSN).While time synchronization errors cannot be overlooked,pursuing minimal time errors may incur unnecessary costs.Using complex network theory,this study proposes a hierarchy for TSN and introduces the concept of bounded time error.A coupling model between traffic scheduling and time synchronization is established,deriving functional relationships among end-to-end delay,delay jitter,gate window,and time error.These relationships illustrate that time errors can trigger jumps in delay and delay jitter.To evaluate different time errors impact on traffic scheduling performance,an end-to-end transmission experiment scheme is designed,along with the construction of a TSN test platform implementing two representative cases.Case A is a closed TSN domain scenario with pure TSN switches emulating closed factory floor network.Case B depicts remote factory interconnection where TSN domains link via non-TSN domains composed of OpenFlow switches.Results from Case A show that delay and delay jitter on a single node are most significantly affected by time errors,up to one gating cycle.End-to-end delay jitter tends to increase with the number of hops.When the ratio of time error bound to window exceeds 10%,the number of schedulable traffic flows decreases rapidly.Case B reveals that when time error is below 1μs,the number of schedulable traffic flows begins to increase significantly,approaching full schedulability at errors below 0.6μs.展开更多

This study proposes a novel time-synchronization protocol inspired by stochastic gradient algorithms.The clock model of each network node in this synchronizer is configured as a generic adaptive filter where different...This study proposes a novel time-synchronization protocol inspired by stochastic gradient algorithms.The clock model of each network node in this synchronizer is configured as a generic adaptive filter where different stochastic gradient algorithms can be adopted for adaptive clock frequency adjustments.The study analyzes the pairwise synchronization behavior of the protocol and proves the generalized convergence of the synchronization error and clock frequency.A novel closed-form expression is also derived for a generalized asymptotic error variance steady state.Steady and convergence analyses are then presented for the synchronization,with frequency adaptations done using least mean square(LMS),the Newton search,the gradient descent(GraDes),the normalized LMS(N-LMS),and the Sign-Data LMS algorithms.Results obtained from real-time experiments showed a better performance of our protocols as compared to the Average Proportional-Integral Synchronization Protocol(AvgPISync)regarding the impact of quantization error on synchronization accuracy,precision,and convergence time.This generalized approach to time synchronization allows flexibility in selecting a suitable protocol for different wireless sensor network applications.展开更多
As a category of recurrent neural networks,echo state networks(ESNs)have been the topic of in-depth investigations and extensive applications in a diverse array of fields,with spectacular triumphs achieved.Nevertheles...As a category of recurrent neural networks,echo state networks(ESNs)have been the topic of in-depth investigations and extensive applications in a diverse array of fields,with spectacular triumphs achieved.Nevertheless,the traditional ESN and the majority of its variants are devised in the light of the second-order statistical information of data(e.g.,variance and covariance),while more information is neglected.In the context of information theoretic learning,correntropy demonstrates the capacity to grab more information from data.Therefore,under the guidelines of the maximum correntropy criterion,this paper proposes a correntropy-based echo state network(CESN)in which the first-order and higher-order information of data is captured,promoting robustness to noise.Furthermore,an incremental learning algorithm for the CESN is presented,which has the expertise to update the CESN when new data arrives,eliminating the need to retrain the network from scratch.Finally,experiments on benchmark problems and comparisons with existing works are provided to verify the effectiveness and superiority of the proposed CESN.展开更多

In the slave system, a recurrent neural network (RNN ) with on-line weight tuning algorithm is employed to approximate the dynamics of the time-delay-free nonlinear plant, which is used to linearize the slave s ystem. The master controller is a Smith predictor for the linearized slave syste m, which provides prediction and maintains the desirable tracking performance. S tability propriety is guaranteed based on the Lyapunov method. A simulation of a two-link robotic manipulator is provided to illustrate the effectiveness of th e proposed control strategy.展开更多
[Objective] This study was to design an intelligent greenhouse real-time monitoring system based on the core technology of Internet of Things in order to meet the needs of agricultural informatization and intellectual...[Objective] This study was to design an intelligent greenhouse real-time monitoring system based on the core technology of Internet of Things in order to meet the needs of agricultural informatization and intellectualization. [Method] Based on the application characteristics of Wireless Sensor Network (WSN), the intelligent greenhouse monitoring system was designed. And for the incompleteness strategy of load balancing in the Low-Energy Adaptive Clustering Hierarchy (LEACH), a Real- time Threshold Routing Algorithm (RTRA) was proposed. [Result] The performance of network lifetime and network delay of RTRA were tested in MATLAB and found that, within the same testing environment, RTRA can save nodes energy consumption, prolong network lifetime, and had better real-time performance than LEACH. The al- gorithm satisfies the crops' requirements on real-time and energy efficiency in the greenhouse system. [Conclusion] For the good performance on real-time, the de- signed intelligent greenhouse real-time monitoring system laid the foundation for the research and development of agricultural informatization and intellectualization.展开更多

However, due to the demands for various synchronization precision, existing time synchronization algorithms often need to be adapted. So it is necessary to evaluate these adapted algorithms before use. Software simulation is a valid and quick way to do it. In this paper, we present a time synchronization simulator, Simsync, for wireless sensor networks. We decompose the packet delay into 6 delay components and model them separately. The frequency of crystal oscillator is modeled as Gaussian. To testify its effectiveness, we simulate the reference broadcast synchronization algorithm (RBS) and the timing-sync synchronization algorithm (TPSN) on Simsync. The domination method is used to deal with the smooth time-delay basis functions. The adaptive bounding technique is employed to estimate the upper bound of the NN approximation errors. Based on Lyapunov- Krasovskii functional, the semi-global uniform ultimate boundedness of all the signals in the closed-loop system is proved, The feasibility is investigated by two illustrative simulation examples.展开更多

文摘Dear Editor,This letter addresses the robust predefined-time control challenge for leaderless optimal formation in networked mobile vehicle(NMV)systems.The aim is to minimize a composite global cost function derived from individual strongly convex functions of each agent,considering both input disturbances and network communication constraints.A novel predefined-time optimal formation control(PTOFC)algorithm is presented,ensuring agent state convergence to optimal formation positions within an adjustable settling time.Through the integration of an integral sliding mode technique,disturbances are effectively countered.A representative numerical example highlights the effectiveness and robustness of the developed approach.

文摘Quadratic programming models for integrated space-time interference suppression in CDMA systems are proposed in this paper. The models integrate the advantages of smart antenna and RAKE receiver, mitigate multiuser access interference (MAI) and interchip interference (ICI),and combine multipath components. The zero-forcing conditions are derived. Neural network implementation of the models is also studied.
文摘Time series analysis plays an important role in hydrologic forecasting,while the key to this analysis is to establish a proper model.This paper presents a time series neural network model with back propagation procedure for hydrologic forecasting.Free from the disadvantages of previous models,the model can be parallel to operate information flexibly and rapidly.It excels in the ability of nonlinear mapping and can learn and adjust by itself,which gives the model a possibility to describe the complex nonlinear hydrologic process.By using directly a training process based on a set of previous data, the model can forecast the time series of stream flow.Moreover,two practical examples were used to test the performance of the time series neural network model.Results confirm that the model is efficient and feasible.
文摘A neural network Smith predictive control strategy is proposed to deal with inpu t and feedback time delays in telerobot systems. The delay time is assumed to b e invariant and unknown. The proposed control structure consists of a slave syst em and a master controller. In the slave system, a recurrent neural network (RNN ) with on-line weight tuning algorithm is employed to approximate the dynamics of the time-delay-free nonlinear plant, which is used to linearize the slave s ystem. The master controller is a Smith predictor for the linearized slave syste m, which provides prediction and maintains the desirable tracking performance. S tability propriety is guaranteed based on the Lyapunov method. A simulation of a two-link robotic manipulator is provided to illustrate the effectiveness of th e proposed control strategy.

文摘[Objective] This study was to design an intelligent greenhouse real-time monitoring system based on the core technology of Internet of Things in order to meet the needs of agricultural informatization and intellectualization. [Method] Based on the application characteristics of Wireless Sensor Network (WSN), the intelligent greenhouse monitoring system was designed. And for the incompleteness strategy of load balancing in the Low-Energy Adaptive Clustering Hierarchy (LEACH), a Real- time Threshold Routing Algorithm (RTRA) was proposed. [Result] The performance of network lifetime and network delay of RTRA were tested in MATLAB and found that, within the same testing environment, RTRA can save nodes energy consumption, prolong network lifetime, and had better real-time performance than LEACH. The al- gorithm satisfies the crops' requirements on real-time and energy efficiency in the greenhouse system. [Conclusion] For the good performance on real-time, the de- signed intelligent greenhouse real-time monitoring system laid the foundation for the research and development of agricultural informatization and intellectualization.
文摘This paper presents a new method for finding the natural frequency set of a linear time invariant network. In the paper deriving and proving of a common equation are described. It is for the first time that in the common equation the natural frequencies of an n th order network are correlated with the n port parameters. The equation is simple and dual in form and clear in its physical meaning. The procedure of finding the solution is simplified and standardized, and it will not cause the loss of roots. The common equation would find wide use and be systematized.

文摘As it is well known,it is difficult to identify a nonlinear time varying system using traditional identification approaches,especially under unknown nonlinear function.Neural networks have recently emerged as a successful tool in the area of identification and control of time invariant nonlinear systems.However,it is still difficult to apply them to complicated time varying system identification.In this paper we present a learning algorithm for identification of the nonlinear time varying system using feedforward neural networks.The main idea of this approach is that we regard the weights of the network as a state of a time varying system,then use a Kalman filter to estimate the state.Thus the network implements nonlinear and time varying mapping.We derived both the global and local learning algorithms.Simulation results demonstrate the effectiveness of this approach.

文摘Time synchronization is a critical middleware service of wireless sensor networks. Researchers have already proposed some time synchronization algorithms. However, due to the demands for various synchronization precision, existing time synchronization algorithms often need to be adapted. So it is necessary to evaluate these adapted algorithms before use. Software simulation is a valid and quick way to do it. In this paper, we present a time synchronization simulator, Simsync, for wireless sensor networks. We decompose the packet delay into 6 delay components and model them separately. The frequency of crystal oscillator is modeled as Gaussian. To testify its effectiveness, we simulate the reference broadcast synchronization algorithm (RBS) and the timing-sync synchronization algorithm (TPSN) on Simsync. Simulated results are also presented and analyzed.

文摘This paper extends the adaptive neural network (NN) control approaches to a class of unknown output feedback nonlinear time-delay systems. An adaptive output feedback NN tracking controller is designed by backstepping technique. NNs are used to approximate unknown functions dependent on time delay, Delay-dependent filters are introduced for state estimation. The domination method is used to deal with the smooth time-delay basis functions. The adaptive bounding technique is employed to estimate the upper bound of the NN approximation errors. Based on Lyapunov- Krasovskii functional, the semi-global uniform ultimate boundedness of all the signals in the closed-loop system is proved, The feasibility is investigated by two illustrative simulation examples.
