In this paper,an analysis for ill conditioning problem in subspace identifcation method is provided.The subspace identifcation technique presents a satisfactory robustness in the parameter estimation of process model which performs control.As a frst step,the main geometric and mathematical tools used in subspace identifcation are briefly presented.In the second step,the problem of analyzing ill-conditioning matrices in the subspace identifcation method is considered.To illustrate this situation,a simulation study of an example is introduced to show the ill-conditioning in subspace identifcation.Algorithms numerical subspace state space system identifcation(N4SID)and multivariable output error state space model identifcation(MOESP)are considered to study,the parameters estimation while using the induction motor model,in simulation(Matlab environment).Finally,we show the inadequacy of the oblique projection and validate the efectiveness of the orthogonal projection approach which is needed in ill-conditioning;a real application dealing with induction motor parameters estimation has been experimented.The obtained results proved that the algorithm based on orthogonal projection MOESP,overcomes the situation of ill-conditioning in the Hankel s block,and thereby improving the estimation of parameters. 展开更多

Aiming at the potential presence of mixing automatic identification system(AIS) signals,a new demodulation scheme was proposed for separating other interfering signals in satellite systems.The combined iterative cross-correlation demodulation scheme,referred to as CICCD,yielded a set of single short signals based on the prior information of AIS,after the frequency,code rate and modulation index were estimated.It demodulates the corresponding short codes according to the maximum peak of cross-correlation,which is simple and easy to implement.Numerical simulations show that the bit error rate of proposed algorithm improves by about 40% compared with existing ones,and about 3 dB beyond the standard AIS receiver.In addition,the proposed demodulation scheme shows the satisfying performance and engineering value in mixing AIS environment and can also perform well in low signal-to-noise conditions. 展开更多

Data matching and association based on the arc-segment difference method

In response to the issue of fuzzy matching and association when optical observation data are matched with the orbital elements in a catalog database,this paper proposes a matching and association strategy based on the arcsegment difference method.First,a matching error threshold is set to match the observation data with the known catalog database.Second,the matching results for the same day are sorted on the basis of target identity and observation residuals.Different matching error thresholds and arc-segment dynamic association thresholds are then applied to categorize the observation residuals of the same target across different arc-segments,yielding matching results under various thresholds.Finally,the orbital residual is computed through orbit determination(OD),and the positional error is derived by comparing the OD results with the orbit track from the catalog database.The appropriate matching error threshold is then selected on the basis of these results,leading to the final matching and association of the fuzzy correlation data.Experimental results showed that the correct matching rate for data arc-segments is 92.34% when the matching error threshold is set to 720″,with the arc-segment difference method processing the results of an average matching rate of 97.62% within 8 days.The remaining 5.28% of the fuzzy correlation data are correctly matched and associated,enabling identification of orbital maneuver targets through further processing and analysis.This method substantially enhances the efficiency and accuracy of space target cataloging,offering robust technical support for dynamic maintenance of the space target database. 展开更多

A spectrum measurement system for arc plasma with time and spatial indentification

Spectrum analysis of the plasma has over the years been growing both in methods and instrument, which makes it become a widely used non-contact detection method, without disturbing the arc plasma itself. With noticeable developments in the industry application of the method, a need for careful analysis of the plasma with both time and space identification is desirable. Therefore, a spectral measurement system is developed in this paper for diagnosing arc plasma with time and space identification. With a new hollow probe scanning method, the instrument can be used to provide information like energy distribution of plasma, temperature within the arc plasma, which are of great significance with the requirement of space identification. Furthermore, the system can also be used to capture the instant state of the arc plasma with the synchronic triggering system, which uses high speed photo and electrical signal as the time criterion. The industry applications prove that the system works well for online detection of the arc plasma. 展开更多

In order to mitigate the effects of space adaptation syndrome(SAS) and improve the training efficiency of the astronauts, a novel astronaut rehabilitative training robot(ART) was proposed. ART can help the astronauts to carry out the bench press training in the microgravity environment. Firstly, a dynamic model of cable driven unit(CDU) was established whose accuracy was verified through the model identification. Secondly, to improve the accuracy and the speed of the active loading, an active loading hybrid force controller was proposed on the basis of the dynamic model of the CDU. Finally, the actual effect of the hybrid force controller was tested by simulations and experiments. The results suggest that the hybrid force controller can significantly improve the precision and the dynamic performance of the active loading with the maximum phase lag of the active loading being 9° and the maximum amplitude error being 2% at the frequency range of 10 Hz. The controller can meet the design requirements. 展开更多
